First time at this place. Parking took a minute but there is quite a bit of street parking on Lincoln Ave. walked in, 5 of us, and immediately liked the calm decor, urban textures, ambiance was nice with music. (Needs something more like a monitor or something) but very nicely decorated with different areas to be seated. Immediately, the owner, Roberto took our order. I like that they have two menus, breakfast and lunch, and kept it short and sweet. The black tea, loved it. Usually, restaurants do teabags, and I really appreciated the tea leaves. Makes a difference. The bbq burger, 5 stars. Both kids loved it. Excellent burger. Handmade. Props to the chefs. The Luna burger, also great. 5 stars from my son. The sauce was similar to the sauce on a big Mac, but he said way better. I had the tuna sandwich, sourdough, very good needed just a little seasoning in it. Maybe a tad salt and pepper. But I did like peas in it. Nice touch. After we finished, the owner came over to chat, very nice, learned a lot about how he started and what his vision was. Will definitely come back. Luna Café is the kind of spot you walk into once and immediately know you'll be back. I tried the matcha, the chilaquiles, the yogurt bowl, and an omelette--and every single dish was genuinely impressive. The matcha is the star. Roberto, the owner, prepares it the traditional way, whisked by hand, and you can taste the care in every sip. It's smooth, earthy, and easily one of the best matcha experiences I've had anywhere. The chilaquiles were bold and flavorful without being heavy, the yogurt bowl was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the omelette was perfectly cooked--simple, clean, and satisfying. Roberto himself is a huge part of what makes this place special. He's attentive, efficient with orders, and clearly takes pride in every detail. You feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment you walk in. Another bonus: it's a great spot to get some work done. What a lovely place! I was on a cafe hopping project since I moved to this neighborhood recently. I stopped my mission here though. I've come back three times. They are so very nice and they make my lattes exactly as I ask. I've had the Matcha and the Nutella latte. They are yummy. The vibe here is casual, and it gets a lot of light. There is a big comfy couch area and tables. I like the music they play. The have art on some of the walls. The bathroom is gorgeous, painted by the same artist on the walls right now. I asked, the bathroom's walls are a work of art, I'm serious. It's also very clean, like everywhere else here. I don't know about the food, I haven't ordered it, I did see a door dash guy when I was here, that's a good sign. I've seen a lot of people order food inside too. The crows is usually a mix of people eating and people working and drinking coffee like me. It has busy periods and calm periods. It's not packed all of the time but it might be someday soon. It's a new cafe. They are fine with me sitting there for hours working on my laptop. They are encouraging about it actually. TIP: it's little hard to see if you are driving by. The sushi place next door has a huge bright sign and overwhelms Luna Cafe that has a big blue quarter moon painted on the window. read more

Obsessed with this place. I always get a flat white with oat milk. So far I had the veggie omelet and the avocado toast with scrambled egg - current obsession is the avo-toast because the homemade pesto it comes with is soooo good. We are from out of town and we were looking for a breakfast place this morning. Found this cafe. Am I glad we did. The food was delicious. I had a breakfast burrito, it was very flavorful. The homemade salsa was wonderful. My husband's Mexican omelette was outstanding. The breakfast potatoes were yummy and a very satisfying portion. The service was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. A cute dining room, not overcrowded, with tables at a nice space apart. So wish this was in our state, I would be a regular. Will try to be back for breakfast or dinner before we leave. read more

This place is so cute and the staff is very friendly. I've been there a few times for breakfast. On the most recent visit, I had the veggie omelet and my husband had the American Breakfast. We both enjoyed our meal. The veggies in the omelet were fresh. In the side, I had the diced potatoes & an order of bacon; both were very good. First off, this charming cafe has FRESH food and is home-made at its very best! I have visited here on a number of occasions now and am greeted by friendly owner, Roberto. Whether you get breakfast or lunch, the quality of the food is almost unbeatable. I love the lattes and seasonal mint hot chocolate. Breakfasts I've had includes eggs and potatoes & sausage. The potatoes are fresh cut! Yum! Bagels are super fresh and served with a chipotle sauce that is just right, full of flavor. The eggs (real and fresh) not the kind poured or reconstituted. I will be trying the lunch menu next! I love that there aren't pages of menu. It is kept simple because of the high quality ingredients. The interior is simple, yet inviting. Local artist art adorns some of the wall space and there is an amazing chalkboard wall behind the order area. If you are particular about the quality of your food, don't miss this.
