    Chicago Waffles Cafe Martini.

Nice vibes in the restaurant. Diverse food menu, I really enjoyed my martini and Denver omelet. The only thing that could slightly improve is the potatoes which need some more seasoning or flavor.

Best food ever and wait staff is always soooo nice to talk to! Seriously best eggs I've ever had!

Delicious and hearty brunch food, great after working up an appetite hiking waterfall glen. I ordered the half matcha waffle (which didn't really taste at all like matcha) and the half breakfast order of an egg, sausage links, toast, and potatoes. It was plenty of food for one person, the food came out quick and hot. Someone at my table orderedThe cinnamon waffle and said it was rather small for being the full size entree. The short rib and cheesy waffle looked amazing. One star deduction because I ordered cheese on my eggs and it came without, and I was given a dirty glass for drinking water.

Chicago Waffles Willowbrook was one of the few Breakfast places that was open for Christmas Day today so we had to stop by! They were busy but we were seated immediately. They have a beautiful pink leaf tree in the middle of the restaurant which definitely adds to the ambiance. Food was good as well can't complain :)

The food here was pretty good and the ambiance was cute. Unfortunately the service was terrible - I asked for one Diet Coke 10 times over 20 minutes and was told sure one second and then it never came. We also tried to order for over 15 minutes and were told sure one minute. That should have been our sign to leave. The server seemed like she was overwhelmed but her section was almost empty while we were there. The music is also INCREDIBLY LOUD - almost like you're in a club. Cannot even hear the person next to you. We asked them to lower the music and they said sure one minute and never did it.

Beware! Take your hard earned money elsewhere! The worst breakfast we have had in a very long time. The one and ONLY saving grace was the server, Linda. She was super sweet, attentive and so apologetic for our experience. Walking in we were hopeful. The place was big and spacious. The menu had many different and interesting selections. Now for the real deal: my food and my husband's was brought out first. His "10 oz" steak (more like a 6 oz.) looked like a steak from the dollar store (son's words). It was ordered medium rare and came out as dry as the desert. My son's plate came out after a significant wait. Why wouldn't they bring the food out together? He ordered a waffle sandwich with Steak, eggs, onions, and red pepper (the Hungry man). What he got was no steak (maybe a couple of pea sized pieces of beef) and a LOT of mushrooms. My son doesn't like mushrooms. I think they added mushrooms instead of steak and tried to deceive us. SMH. In the end, Linda comped our meal after we complained as nicely as possible. We still tipped her coz she was awesome. Beware: the management cheats it's customers and should be ashamed!

Food was good and service were amazing! The only reason i would not come back is due to the prices. For a mexican skillet with choco chip pancakes, it costed $20.50, which was not worth at all. Ambience is welcoming! Our waitress was really nice. She was always smiling- forgot her name. Everything was great-- but I wouldn't return due to the prices.

Been coming here since Waffle House took over Matty's. We used to live in Chicago. We used to go to the waffle house on 14th and Michigan now retired out in the suburbs been coming to the KINGERY location for the last six years. Cannot go wrong ordering anything from there menus. Our favorites are the Waffles and French Toast dishes. Breakfast to the Burgers are all Great choices.

Service was friendly, they had so many options for sweet and savory, breakfast and lunch. And some boozy drink options if you're so inclined. Portions were decent and I like that they had a few half portions options as I wasn't super hungry when I came by. Overall a decent brunch place if you're in the area!

This is a unique breakfast place. You will find items that you don't normally see at your typical breakfast/lunch restaurant. Prices depending on what they are, can be from low to moderate. Service was okay. The first girl that brought our menus, can work on her customer service manner. She didn't seem like she wanted to be there. That's why I took off one star. Our waiter Velasco was wonderful. He made sure we were taken care and checked back often. I would recommend trying the half orders and sharing if you don't know which waffle to go with. We had 3 half orders of cheddar and short rib, bacon and chicken, and liege waffle. We also tried the waffle flight. Short ribs were very tender to cut and had a nice pink color inside. Fried chicken was succulent inside and the right amount of chew. Bacon was very crispy. The seasonal fruit on the liege was fresh. The red velvet waffle was not too sweet. I would recommend.

Highly recommended the chicken and waffle- it was amazing and so flavorful! The spicy syrup worked deliciously with the chicken- make sure you include a piece of scallion in your bite! The bacon within the waffle was great with the traditional sweet syrup. It was a very visually and taste- satisfying meal. The half order was plenty for my lunch. Would absolutely go back! The waitress was hustling and busy, but I didn't feel neglected.

Hello Chicago Waffles! My partner and I stopped in for brunch and had a great experience this past visit! The portions of the food are excellent for the price! I recommend the Mediterranean omelette (Tip: ask for the dipping sauce if you get a side of potatoes!). I always opt for a side pancake and my partner gets toast. Both are great! If you are looking for an instagram-worthy moment, head to the back where you will find an adorable grass wall and a neon sign!

I had the Braised Beef Short Rib, which was not only gluten-free but also very tasty. My wife had the Pesto Shrimp Risotto, which was also good. The atmosphere was good and parking was ample. The only downside was that the service was not so good. Our server was not around very often. Later on, we were ready to order dessert but our server was busy mixing drinks behind the bar. My wife had to go over and get him so we could order. Not good. Still overall, a good find.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

I think they have seats for only 25 people so prepare to stand when it gets busy. Our bartender was Edward and he was really nice. I ordered a Tiramisu Martini and then a Porn Star Martini. They were both good, but I preferred the Porn Star one. We also ordered a Smash Burger, which was actually from Holt's, connected to this bar. That burger was tasty - brioche bun & onions = yum. The chips it came with were crunchy. The Bacon popcorn was good but way too salty for me. Im glad we found this little bar and plan on coming back in the future.

I disagree--I am a Chicago boy and it has a big city hidden gem quality about it. In fact, they promote themselves as a speakeasy. Of course you can get any cocktail you want, but my husband and I both opted for a special strawberry cocktail made with Hendrick's gin. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and garnished with a dehydrated lemon slice. Perfect! Our friends both ordered old fashioned cocktails that looked equally as good. It was a Saturday night and this tiny bar was jam-packed. We had to stand, but it was okay because we had only stopped in for one drink before heading to another restaurant for dinner. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. Prices are not inexpensive, but average to what you'd find in a downtown Chicago restaurant. If you''re looking for a cool place to hang in Park Ridge with a craft cocktail and have a small bite (they have a limited food menu, too), Pines Room is the place.

And unfortunately for my dignity, Common Good makes it ridiculously good. Smooth, not overly sweet, and good enough that I'm never going back to pretending I just want regular coffee. Then there's the old-fashioned donut. Holy heck. Crispy edges, soft inside, and flipping phenomenal. I don't know who they're getting their donuts from these days, but whoever is responsible deserves continued employment and possibly dental coverage. The ambience at 7 a.m. is also kind of fantastic. It's basically me, the barista, and whoever is standing across the street waiting for the train. Quiet, relaxed, and just enough civilization outside the window to remind you that other people have places to be while you sit there eating a donut. Next assignment: come back in the afternoon and investigate the cocktails. I take these reviews very seriously. It would be irresponsible journalism to base my findings solely on breakfast without conducting a thorough investigation of the cocktail menu. I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.
