2nd time visiting this establishment! Nice place for a date night or gno! Went here with my fiance and the band was good. Food is also very good. Parking in the lot is adequate . Staff is friendly despite 1 waitress serving the whole restaurant! Definitely a must try Ill go back again for sure read more

Music was wonderful! Atmosphere great, the food delicious! Service was incredibly bad. Incompetent waitress.

We went for dinner and to see a live band and I'd say the highlight of the night was definitely the band! I think it was Vintage Vinyl. Very impressive! The only issue for us was that we were probably the youngest people there by at least a decade (maybe two). It's definitely a 60+ crowd. Food and service were good. read more

My wife and I came here based on a recommendation and were very pleasantly surprised. It feels like a combo of a supper club and a music lounge. We were there before the band started at 8 and it was very quiet and towards 8pm it got much busier and lively. My wife had the NY Strip which was absolutely fantastic. I had the Prime Rib which was very good as well. The Slider appetizer was solid and the Skillet Cookie was a little small, but perfect for 2 of us. Overall, highly recommended! read more

Live music and amazing food! I got here a little too early for the music to start but stayed long enough I got to enjoy. Sam is the best bartender, she was amazing. The food and drinks I had were on point! This place did not disappoint! I came here alone, and Jena kept my drink safe so I could use the restroom. The employees are amazing this place is chill! 10/10 do recommend! HEY MANAGER... DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A BONUS read more

Great atmosphere, great entertainment, and great service. A bit pricy but the entertainment James Libera was outstanding. I give the entire evening 5 stars!!! read more

A very good date spot to see live music. And usually most of their entertainment is top notch.. I have had everything here from steaks, to shrimp, pasta, to the chicken dishes. The prices are very modest and the food so far has been very good. I feel the only way to upscale it would be to raise the prices for the items on the menu. So id rather they just leave it where it is..It is a very classy place. And there is a lot of good drinks and action at the bar. So far most of the service I have had here has been efficient with no issues...Find some music that you like and check it out !!! read more

This establishment is legit!!! Good food, really good service and excellent entertainment. A really nice vibe with a nice selection of wines. The music was a lot of fun as there were several acts the evening we went. Just an all around good time!! read more

I hate to leave a bad review but when you reserve a specific table for eight people a month in advance and then get there and you are told that they booked it for another party before us it really ruins the mood of your night. I don't think we'll be going back there for a while read more

Super atmosphere and fantastic food with live entertainment. The service was fridnely and I can't wait to go back.

Dinner at Jonny Cabs is a must. The food was delicious, the service by our server Jasmine was excellent and the energetic vibe from the music with the Flat Cats was outstanding. Great dance floor. A friendly, lovely atmosphere. read more

Great food and service, music is a plus! No need to go all the way into the city for a great time!

How have we not found this place before?!? Great place for cozy atmosphere, excellent food, live music and friendly service. Looking forward to going back! read more

Greeted with a genuine and warm welcome. Makes a rememberable first impression. The vibe of the joint is one of a kind. The entertainment and service was too notch. Food and drinks also hit a home run. Well done! Will be back read more

Food was delicious - service was stellar and entertainment was above our expectations! Definitely will return!!

Is it a fine dining establishment? A nightclub? Or a local watering hole to meet up with friends? I have no idea. I think they want to be all three and in doing so failing at everything. The snapper entree was dry, crusty (not in a good way), and too salty. The mashed potatoes were cold, the broccolini was over-cooked, and the cheesecake crust stuck to the bottom of the ramekin and we had to scrape it out with a knife. The old fashioned was very good but we came for Salsa dance lessons and the dance floor was no bigger than a 5'x9' space for 5 couples, and I felt like I was going to run into something. My advice, pick a lane and build strength in that - stop trying to be everything to everyone. read more

So was visiting from out of state looking to meet up with my gal pals. They wanted to go to another restaurant in the same area because everyone had been there before. I happen to stumble upon Jonny Cab's (using Yelp). Reservations were made at Jonny Cabs and the other restaurant (within walking distance from one another). We got to our destination(s) early and decided to have a drink and check out Jonny Cab's. Well we wound up staying there and cancelled the other reservation. The place is small but just a nice comfy cozy place. The bar had padded high back chairs and when seated at our table those chairs were also padded. We all wound up getting pasta dishes and each was plentiful and delicious. We all took home doggie bags. An added (unknown) bonus was it was open mike night. I must say all the acts we saw were really good. We had a great girls night out time there. Upon leaving my gal pals they all said they definitely will be coming back and it was much better than going to that other place and just watching people eat. read more

This was our first time at Jonny Caps, but will definitely not be are last. I went there Tuesday night (open bar night) I was with four longtime friends and we couldn't have had a better time! The food and drinks were amazing. Everyone from the bar back, bartender, waitress, and I even the owner could not have been nicer. We all had a GREAT time and will definitely be going back soon. If you haven't tried it, you are really missing a great time. I gave 5 stars because I couldn't leave 10. Absolutely Amazing read more

JONNY CAB'S FOR DINNER, DRINKS, AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT If you have not been to Jonny Cab's in Burr Ridge, you are missing one of the best live entertainment spots in the western burbs. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday they have live music. Wednesday they have free dance lessons followed by karaoke. And Monday is really a special treat. This is THE spot for a Monday Night out. Forget about football and join the live entertainment scene yourself on Monday's open mic night. I attended last Monday evening and was shocked by the wonderful musical talent that showed up. You can of course just show up to listen as I do. But if you want to perform... The stage is completely equipped with a standard drum kit, congas, both electric and acoustic guitars, an electric bass. and keyboard. Of course, you can bring an instrument but you really don't need to do so. If you bring a Backtrack on an android. iPhone, iPad, or laptop you can simply plug in and go. The sound system is absolutely fantastic. I don't know how the sound guy does it but we sat in a booth to the side of the stage and the sound was great there too. If you want to play just one instrument like an acoustic guitar and sing, you will likely end up with a full backup band that can pick up on whatever you're playing and will make it sound amazing. Even a few youngsters from the school of rock played and sounded great. As a special treat last week, they had Ted Aliotta of Aliotta Haynes & Jeremiah gig with anyone who could play anything as he sang his classic 1971 hit "Lake Shore Dive". How cool is that? I highly encourage you to bring your talent and grab an instrument. Or if like me, you aren't musical, come to enjoy the talent others will bring. You may even get to see a few champion-level ballroom dancers mix it up on the floor too. Seriously, Monday is spectacular. The food and wine are outstanding as well. Even if it weren't for the entertainment I'd still go back for the food and drinks. Anyway, I think everyone should check this place out. I'm told it has only been open for a few months but it really seems to be a hit. read more

We tried Jonny Cab's in Burr Ridge recently for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful inside and set up for live entertainment. We got there shortly after they opened and sat in one of the booths. They are big and can accommodate larger parties in them. There were also TVs in the booths which my husband enjoyed. Barbara was our server and she was wonderful and checked on us often. Here's what we had: Lovey - this was my cocktail, it has vodka, st germain, strawberry, lemon, and Prosecco, it was yummy, stronger strawberry flavor Carne Asada flatbread - had this as an appetizer. It was delicious! Super thin and crispy flatbread with flavorful steak, pesto, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. We ordered the lime crema on the side. I would definitely order it again (although I was also eyeing the bbq chicken flatbread so I might try that one next time). Jonnny Cab Burger - this was my meal and I think this is one of the better burgers I've had in the area. My favorite will always be Burger Antics, but the meat was the right amount of flavorful and it came with havarti cheese, grilled onions, and bacon. Just YUM! The fries that came with it were good too. Caprese pasta with chicken - my husband ordered this and enjoyed it. I took a bite and thought it was really good too. If you love Caprese but want something more filling than a salad, this is a great option! Dragonfruit sorbet - my husband had this for dessert and liked it. It wasn't as sweet as he was expecting. The GM, Matt, came by toward the end of our meal to check on us and thank us for coming. Barbara also mentioned they were working on a game day menu with different specials on Saturdays and Sundays for football season. Jonny Cab's is a great addition to the area and if you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend! read more

Update to my review. They have a policy that if you are seated before 7:30 there is a two hour limit. This means if you get there at 7:00 and want to have a quiet meal before the band starts at 8:00 you only get to enjoy them for one hour, but still have to pay a $10.00 charge per person for the entertainment. But if someone comes in at 7:30, you can stay till 11:00 for the same $10:00. Doesn't sound fair to me. read more

This Place is AMAZETASTICALICIOUS! It was my first time coming here and I already can't wait to go back. I came to see the Dueling Piano show and from the moment I stepped in I was treated warmly and kindly from the Host, and then by Scotty and I had the sweetest and most genuinely kind server Jia I was obsessed with my drink called the "Lucid Dream" which DELICIOUS but was extra fabulous and it was SPARKLY The food was super tasty and was actually FILLED with flavorful ingredients and made with love. The Dueling Pianos Chris Heroldt and Dave were so freaking talented and brought so much joy to everyone. Amazing musicians and glorious humans. I loved it here and I know you will too! read more

What a difference 21days makes!!! The first time we ordered we were amazed and satisfied at the quality and taste of the food. Not so this time. Everything was cold, like it had been in a refrigerator. Strangely, only the corn succotash was warm. Not pleasant eating cold fish, vegetables, and fries. Fries were excellent the first time. Desserts were minuscule. What was a delicious blueberry bread pudding, was now an old, chewy blob. So disappointed. Will NEVER order from them again. read more

They were really good we had the fish I think it was whitefish with mashed potatoes & a vegetable it was delicious as well as the entertainment was also good. We plan to come again. read more

Cozy and unique spot with live entertainment in the evenings. If you want some live music, dancing lessons, and good food, here is your place. If you want to watch some ESPN with your meal, there are TVs mounted in the booths. And the booths are huge, could fit six people comfortably. I wasn't a fan of the TVs myself, because when the dimmed the lights a bit, the TVs would then show up brighter and kind of kill the experience. Service is attentive and professional. Menu is not super unique, however still slightly different. I had a flatbread with prime rib for example and a cherry mule cocktail. Extensive cocktail and wine list and a handful of beers on tap. Would be a great date night spot, especially if the live entertainment is up your alley. read more

One of the worst dining experiences Food was mediocre at best. The highlight was a ahi tostada. Really good. Mains were Blah to bad. Snapper was overdone and smelled. Salad was wilted. Pasta dishes had no flavor. Worst part is they kicked us out of our table mid bite of the entrée saying it was reserved for someone else. We weren't slow by any means. Neither was the service. 1.5 hours into the meal the manager wanted to move us from our table to an outside table, mid bite. Server was the highlight. Delightful but we'll never go back. read more

Jonny Cab's: A Gem in the Western Suburbs! Instead of driving all the way into Chicago and paying a fortune for parking, cover charges and mediocre jazz club food, check out Jonny Cab's in Burr Ridge. I went to hear the iconic Blue Max Trio, a one-of-a kind band whose rhythmic blend of Latin, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop and original compositions is exceptional. While I went for the music, I stayed for the superb food, well-curated wine list, outstanding service and beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. Check out their calendar for Latin Night (with free dance lessons!), Open Mic night and other musical offerings. Perfect for date night, dinner with friends, or a solo night out to hear some of the best musicians around and enjoy elegant dining. read more

This was our first time there with friends of ours on Saturday, 9/21/24, and although it was a great time, when my husband and I looked at our receipt this morning, we noticed we were overcharged by $60.00....NOT Cool!! We were charged for an extra Sangria, cup of soup, soft drink, titos, all of which WE DID NOT order. Then there's a charge for 1 Simi 2020 and 1 charge for Simi 2018. What's up with that,!?!?! Very disappointing!! I emailed them on 9/22/24 and called them on 9/23/24, and 5 days later, no response!! Again, very disappointing!! read more
