Live music and amazing food! I got here a little too early for the music to start but stayed long enough I got to enjoy. Sam is the best bartender, she was amazing. The food and drinks I had were on point! This place did not disappoint! I came here alone, and Jena kept my drink safe so I could use the restroom. The employees are amazing this place is chill! 10/10 do recommend! HEY MANAGER... DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A BONUS

Is it a fine dining establishment? A nightclub? Or a local watering hole to meet up with friends? I have no idea. I think they want to be all three and in doing so failing at everything. The snapper entree was dry, crusty (not in a good way), and too salty. The mashed potatoes were cold, the broccolini was over-cooked, and the cheesecake crust stuck to the bottom of the ramekin and we had to scrape it out with a knife. The old fashioned was very good but we came for Salsa dance lessons and the dance floor was no bigger than a 5'x9' space for 5 couples, and I felt like I was going to run into something. My advice, pick a lane and build strength in that - stop trying to be everything to everyone.

JONNY CAB'S FOR DINNER, DRINKS, AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT If you have not been to Jonny Cab's in Burr Ridge, you are missing one of the best live entertainment spots in the western burbs. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday they have live music. Wednesday they have free dance lessons followed by karaoke. And Monday is really a special treat. This is THE spot for a Monday Night out. Forget about football and join the live entertainment scene yourself on Monday's open mic night. I attended last Monday evening and was shocked by the wonderful musical talent that showed up. You can of course just show up to listen as I do. But if you want to perform... The stage is completely equipped with a standard drum kit, congas, both electric and acoustic guitars, an electric bass. and keyboard. Of course, you can bring an instrument but you really don't need to do so. If you bring a Backtrack on an android. iPhone, iPad, or laptop you can simply plug in and go. The sound system is absolutely fantastic. I don't know how the sound guy does it but we sat in a booth to the side of the stage and the sound was great there too. If you want to play just one instrument like an acoustic guitar and sing, you will likely end up with a full backup band that can pick up on whatever you're playing and will make it sound amazing. Even a few youngsters from the school of rock played and sounded great. As a special treat last week, they had Ted Aliotta of Aliotta Haynes & Jeremiah gig with anyone who could play anything as he sang his classic 1971 hit "Lake Shore Dive". How cool is that? I highly encourage you to bring your talent and grab an instrument. Or if like me, you aren't musical, come to enjoy the talent others will bring. You may even get to see a few champion-level ballroom dancers mix it up on the floor too. Seriously, Monday is spectacular. The food and wine are outstanding as well. Even if it weren't for the entertainment I'd still go back for the food and drinks. Anyway, I think everyone should check this place out. I'm told it has only been open for a few months but it really seems to be a hit.

We tried Jonny Cab's in Burr Ridge recently for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful inside and set up for live entertainment. We got there shortly after they opened and sat in one of the booths. They are big and can accommodate larger parties in them. There were also TVs in the booths which my husband enjoyed. Barbara was our server and she was wonderful and checked on us often. Here's what we had: Lovey - this was my cocktail, it has vodka, st germain, strawberry, lemon, and Prosecco, it was yummy, stronger strawberry flavor Carne Asada flatbread - had this as an appetizer. It was delicious! Super thin and crispy flatbread with flavorful steak, pesto, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. We ordered the lime crema on the side. I would definitely order it again (although I was also eyeing the bbq chicken flatbread so I might try that one next time). Jonnny Cab Burger - this was my meal and I think this is one of the better burgers I've had in the area. My favorite will always be Burger Antics, but the meat was the right amount of flavorful and it came with havarti cheese, grilled onions, and bacon. Just YUM! The fries that came with it were good too. Caprese pasta with chicken - my husband ordered this and enjoyed it. I took a bite and thought it was really good too. If you love Caprese but want something more filling than a salad, this is a great option! Dragonfruit sorbet - my husband had this for dessert and liked it. It wasn't as sweet as he was expecting. The GM, Matt, came by toward the end of our meal to check on us and thank us for coming. Barbara also mentioned they were working on a game day menu with different specials on Saturdays and Sundays for football season. Jonny Cab's is a great addition to the area and if you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend!

The closest place to the hotel is INSIDE the hotel and that's Sip & Savor. Hotel food gets a bad rep, but I was ASSURED that the food here was good. So, I was given some recommendations and walked downstairs to experience what this place has to offer... Atmosphere/Appearance: It's a hotel bar. Lol. There's a huge bar rail that wraps around the actual bar so you can sit on 3 different sides. Plenty of seating. Directly behind the seats are tables where you can relax with a group of friends or your family. It was fairly quiet in there, but I can see it getting pretty loud if there's a big work group in here or something. Service: Kelly took excellent care of me. She was the only one working so she had her hands full, but she managed to check on everyone, take care of everyone and even have conversations with several folks. She was super friendly and most importantly, honest about the things on the menu when I asked her. Food: I started off with the Grilled Shrimp Tacos. They come in an order of 3 with a grilled lime and verde salsa on the side. These were honestly fantastic. The balance of cilantro-lime crema with crunchy cabbage and the subtle shrimp flavor worked together so well. For my entrée I opted for what was recommended to me, the BBQ Bacon Jack Burger. It's described as having Monterey jack cheese, caramelized onions, bacon and BBQ sauce. Lettuce, tomato and a pickle spear are served on the side. This burger was actually very, very delicious, but I was asked how I wanted it cooked. I said medium. The burger came out well-done. So that told me one of 2 things. Either someone is goofing off in the kitchen back there or someone is inexperienced. When I told Kelly about the blunder I heard someone else say, "that's the 3rd time that's happened tonight". So... that should be fixed. Quickly. Kelly offered to have it recooked, but I hate wasting food and I wanted to be on my way. So I enjoyed my overcooked dry burger as best that I could and moved on. Value: My tacos were $12.50 and my burger was $14.00. Not bad pricing at all for hotel food. Usually it can be hiked up a bit, just like mall food or airport food, but not here, great value. In conclusion, I would like to give this place a 3.6, but because I'm positive and generous, it rounds up to 4. If I do return to this place and my burger is overcooked, then I'll send it back because I do want to get what I want if I'm a paying customer.

The pasta I had was bland and mushy with not much flavor. The steak dinner had a laughing few pieces of vegetables. Overall its a hotel bar / restaurant so expect prices to be inflated, however its a pretty hard crash. I would say it needs more work and for sure they need more staff.

The staff acted like they were protecting ancient bloodlines instead of refilling ranch dressing. The energy was aggressively holier-than-thou for a place where the main cultural contribution is fried appetizers and vodka seltzer. To be fair, the food was fine.
