I came for a simple acrylic set and I don't think the lady that did them didn't had a lot of experience or know what she was doing. She continuously sighed, grabbed at my hand. At one point mumbled something to me that I nodded back to and I saw her add $15 to the charge. She was filing my nails crooked and so I left. It was $75 for just acrylic. I went despite the mixed reviews and now need to find somewhere else to finish them. read more

I came at noon Sunday morning and was seen right away. Everyone was friendly and clean. Lindsey was amazing and did a very detailed set. It's hard to find a nail technician who takes their time and does extra steps to make your set beautiful! I love the way she listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I requested short square pearl tip with all pink powder, Linsey surpassed my expectations. read more

The owners are rude and will take your money and not provide the services provided. Many of the polishes are old and have been so "watered down" they don't dry after 2 hours. I've come many times and had a previous high rating after letting stuff slide, but not any more. They thin the regular polish forcing you into shellac, or Polish is old. When asked to address the issue, no refund requested, always defensive. Don't waste your money and especially not your time. And after 3 hours left without my nails done. read more

Just went on friday 7/12/24 for a gel manicure and an shelaci pedicure. I had a young guy do both. I did not see him get the items out of a sterile clean sealed package like i see every other nail salon do. So the tools were not cleaned properly. 2 its only been 5 days and my gel manicure is completely chipped. Prior to this i had my gel manicure last 2 months. Very disappointed in the quality of service. read more

Some nail techs are good but some of them aren't and when they aren't it's really bad, came to get my toes today and the lady doing my pedicure cut me multiple times with the drill and when she clipped them down it came out really slanted and i tried to explain to file the other side down so it would even out and she would continuously file the side that was already shorter wanted to request another technician but nobody was around and as i'm sitting here now she is progressively getting more upset just slammed the uv light over my foot pretty sure it's smudged there's no way it's not read more

I needed a simple fill and polish on my nails and the outcome was terrible. The man who did my nails completely butchered my nails. He just started doing his own thing. The shape was supposed to be almond which is what I always get and they look all different kinds of round and ovals shapes. The shape is very inconsistent throughout both hands and very thin. He barely drilled down the acrylic which made them look all splotchy when it came to putting on the shellac. Worst set of nails I've had. I should of known the service wasn't going to be good where there was no one in the salon. read more

I've been trying to find a nail salon in the area close to my home and today I decided to try out Luminous and I'm so happy I did!! I love my set! I'm pretty positive I've found my new home to pamper my hands and feet. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out I was treated with excellent customer service. Lynn explained the different types of nail services they offer... dip vs shellac vs gel vs whatever else they offer. She even made some color combo suggestions. You fill out the paperwork with the service you are requesting, that way at check out there's no confusion with pricing. I was offered a beverage and I went with a strawberry margarita (yes, at 10:30am because it's 5pm somewhere in the world). Service was great and didn't take too long. The gentleman that tended to my daughter was super friendly and made sure she was satisfied before she left her chair. All in all we had a very pleasant experience, the place is clean, they have an array of services and they are genuinely very nice people. I will be back. read more

It took THREE hours 6-9 to do a pedicure and dip on my nails. Everybody left and I was the only customer left. Tech had to ask another tech for help and she took over and finished my nails. When I was rang up they charged me for matte finish, which I didn't ask for then, charged me for shape which I was never told that they charge to shape your nails it usually part of the service. It was very disappointing. There is so many new nails places now I'll be going elsewhere going forward. read more

Great service & experience overall. The delicious, refreshing drink was a bonus added.

THE THING THAT I DID NOT LIKE was that the final price was 156 and we paid it but when we saw the bank they charged us 189 when we returned to complain about what had happened they said they couldn't do anything and they didn't give us our money back if you don't mind THEM TAKING EXTRA MONEY WITHOUT ASKING then this would be a good place to go btw my nails were good, it took about 40 minutes for my little nails "mimi" was very kind and careful. the girl who did my moms nails was "Linsey" read more

I give 5 stars for their availability and closeness to my home. I called ahead to ask for prices because my regular salon went up $10 for the type of set I got. This place was in the ball park I was looking for. However when she asked for the shape and size, I asked her to cut shorter and narrow she added $5 after she had already started filing. Instead of asking first or letting me know an additional $5 for the shape. This was with Mimi. Then she didn't cut as short as I wanted because she said it didn't go with the shape. (Which I always have) Plus I hadn't been cut around the cuticles in years until this one time and the work around the cuticles looks messy. Not sure if I would return with Mimi but may give someone else a shot. read more

Too bad zero isn't an option!!! Who are you to tell my great nephew he cannot have his nails polished blue when his mother is a paying customer? I hope you're proud of yourself for shaming a 9 year old. If he wanted his nails pink it is none of your concern. You're paid to to a service not for your opinions. I will make sure that we do not use your services again; you lost at least 4 clients that were just there this evening!! read more

I came here right when they opened & actually walked in with the employees. My friend and I both got pedicures. The lady doing mine stopped half way through to wax someone for about 10 minutes. My pedicure took an hour while my friend's was half that. My pedicure itself was good. I just wish it didn't take so long to do. My friend had to have someone else fix the polish on her toes because it was sloppily done. I went back a second time for a shellac manicure. I had to tell the nail tech 3 times how I wanted my nails filed and even asking her to fix them she still did them how she wanted to. I never have problems with my shellac not staying on and the tips started to wear off after about a week. The shop is nice. It is very large and clean. They have charging stations at the nail dryers which is a nice touch! I'm not writing this place off yet but I'm hoping they can step up their game. read more

I go to Dana for my nails and brows. She always gets it done perfectly she's there on the weekends only but is soooo worth it.

What a great place for a manicure or pedicure! My daughter & I got pedicures and they were so nice and took their time , I didn't feel as though they were rushing just to get it done and my legs & feet felt amazing! My daughter also got a manicure and same thing he took his time and did a great job. Would definitely recommend Luminous Nails! read more

So I've been coming here for awhile now, but for the last few month service is getting worse and worse. And when you ask them to fix something the staff seems to totally getting annoyed with you. Worst gel manicure ever. It's only been a week and it's already peeling off. Don't waste your money here.

I'm new to the area and I thought I'd give this place a chance. I walked in and they were super attentive! I did not get the name of the lady who did my nails but she was so informative and didn't make me feel pressured to add anything additional. The nail salon was clean with a friendly environment. I would give this place 5 stars - however, there were 3 workers who were walking around coughing everywhere with no mask. I didn't see them wash their hands or sanitize. read more

I just got my toes and nails done here and Boy what a disappointment not only did the technician not do my cuticles or even a second coat of nail polish on my toes but the guy at the front was coughing up a storm not wearing his mask properly. Smoking a cigarette in the front of the establishment with the door wide open coughing spreading his germs to all who walked in. Two young employees kept taking their masks off as well. Not only no safety for Covid but my pedicure was terrible as well I will never come back here ever again not even in a desperate nail situation! Enter this establishment at your own rise because they don't care about getting anyone sick seems like they're trying to be super spreaders unfortunately read more

I've given this nail salon too many chances and I'm never going back. The man who greets at the front desk did my nails. He completely RUSHED while doing my nails causing him to burn me while filing and told me my nails weren't crooked when I said they were. I have to say i was definitely blown away! the service was wonderful from the moment i walked in. I had a few margaritas while i soaked off my nails, and then Lynn did a french ombré with glitter. They guy that did my nail was kind. However, I don't think he has experience. I am very sad because he made groves in my nails and it really hurt. Also, he hurt my tissue around and it was painful for a few days. The worst part is that I came back to remove the gel and they still charge me for it. Even though they saw how damaged my nails were. Now, I have to wait for my nail to grow to be able to do anything on it, so sad and mad about it. read more

The guy that did my nails {Henry} I believe was nice but did a poor job on my nails I got them done on Sunday 08/14 and by Monday 8/15 three of my nails were peeling so I went back and got them fixed and on 8/16 three more nails started peeling .. it sucks cause I really wanted to like this place prices are great place is beautiful and it's right next to my house however my gel polish shouldn't be peeling at all and it's only been a few days .. I may try and give them another chance I'll just have to have someone else do my nails. I am very disappointed also he drilled my nails way to much causing them to hurt when I touched warm/hot water. And the nails were not painted all the way. read more

I have to say the reason why I ever get pedicures is because of the massage. I am a nurse who is on her feet from 5am to 8p on the 3days a week I work. Plus, I'm pregnant, so a pedicure is a huge treat for me and look forward to the massage part. I can do my own toes and the polish isn't really important to me. The first time I went here, I had a fabulous experience. The massage I had was the best pedicure I've ever had. He made me feel like I was the only person there, took his time, and I swear it was the longest massage Ive had with a pedicure lol! The man who did the pedicure is no longer working there so I had someone different. This time, the woman I had barely used any pressure. It was like she was more so tickling and not massaging. I even politely asked if she could please go harder and she looked at me, shocked, and said, "Harder? But I'm not strong." And dismissed it with a little laugh. She did do a tad more pressure, but come on lol. I felt that she didn't even do 15 minutes of a massage either. A coworker had stopped by in the middle of the massage part and she had stopped massaging, just sitting there with her hands on my legs, barely letting a movement here and there because they started talking back and forth about something. If you want to talk to your coworker about a story, do it at a different time :/ she was distracted and I know my time got cut short because of that. My toes do look pretty, but the massage and lack of personal connection and unwillingness to do better when I asked, led me to give 2 stars. I'm disappointed because I can't get pedicures often (maybe 1 or 2 a year) and I feel I wasted my Mother's Day and birthday treat with this experience. I wish Adam worked there still :( read more
