I did my nails and toes here and they were so bad I asked for an extension on my toes and if they can only do shellac then don't do it and I will just do it at home and they started laughing and did shellac anyway and on my hands I asked for a clean French tips and they gave me lumpy ass nails and the French tips were very bad it was so bad that I was thinking of leaving mid application and my literal fingers hurt now it looks like it was done by a two year old also I saw no cosmetology license at all while I was there please don't go here and save your money read more

Do not get gel here. I got a mani/pedi on Saturday and in just a few days (Monday) the gel polish started peeling and lifting off in the corners. ( I attached a picture). In my experience, gel polish only comes off when soaked in acetone. This has never happened to me, I get gel all the time by numbers of salons. Their customer service was great and expedient. I got a pedi from them with REGULAR nail polish and it's lasting longer than my mani with gel. Don't come here for gel. If you want a regular mani-pedi with regular polish, feel free to get it from them. Just don't get gel! read more

I stopped in Da-Vi nails on my way out of H-E-B for a pedicure. I was greeted right away and taken to the pedicure chair immediately. The nail tech was really friendly and took his time. He made sure my nails were perfect. 25$ for a regular pedicure, and well worth it. The price is great and the quality well exceeds what I paid. My only gripe is that I had to walk to the other side of the salon to put my feet under the nail dry station and if you're not careful the polish will smudge. All in all I'll be back here! read more

This is the nail salon of nail salons. Always on top of newest trends, designs. Friendly technicians. Monica is the best in the shop so obviously a little harder to get. I am terrible about not booking appointments so I am always the walk in trying to get the most sought after technician. Fortunately DaVi is inside H-E-B plus so I take in insulated bags get on Monica's wait list and get my shopping done while I wait. I have been in San Antonio 3 years and it took almost a year and a half to find a technician and salon the quality I'm used to but this is it. read more

I have been here before and I will say they have made some changes since then. I went to my usual nail salon and was told to come back later, that there would be a wait. I felt that it was a little rude not giving me the decision by saying it would take awhile and if I'd like I should come back later. I had to get groceries so I made my way to HEB. Since I was there I thought what the heck and decided to give this place another try. I am glad I did. I noticed that they now have plastic liners on all their pedi chairs and I noticed the single pouches for the tools that they use. It was great service, and they got me right in, no wait. They are also cheaper than my usual place...$25.00 for regular pedi, 35.00 for deluxe. Later I'll try their shellac manicures and they just might be my new nail place. read more

This is, by far, one of the best pedicure places I ever have been! The staff Quyen (Tracy), Nancy, and Lily are amazing. They did awesome pedicures for a super great price! I was concerned we might be too late showing up half hour before they closed, but they were not rushed and gave us phenomenal service. Pedicures are priced very reasonably at $25, $35, and $40, depending on what you want done. I definitely recommend visiting this location and asking for any one of these excellent ladies. My daughter and I wanted to get our nails done. When we first walked in, we were told to go to station 5 and 6. As we walked over, a tech then gave me a little shove to go to a different station. I thought that was rude, but decided to stay. We chose the dip nails because it said they would be thinner and I hate thick nails. My nails now look like I have globs of playdoh on them, thick and not shiny. As the tech was working, I kept telling him they were a lot thicker than I thought they would be- tech assured me one they were filed, they'd be thinner. They aren't. Went right back after seeing my daughter's nails which were thin and shiny. We both had them dipped 3 times, but they said it depends on the powder. My daughter had a hand massage, lotion, cuticles cut- I received none of that. Very disappointed and will not return. read more

I love this nail salon. Natalie is the best! For the first time in 2 years I haven't broken out after getting my eyebrows waxed. She removed the baby oil from the wax and it helped! Also, she did an amazing job on my nails, took her time, and they look exactly like the picture I showed her. Awesome customer service! Be sure you tip her well! Great nails, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE The woman who did my nails was clearly in a rush and didn't care about my feelings. She made eye contact with me maybe twice thru out the whole time, and barely talked. If she did it was only to grunt out one-word directions. Most of it was her gesturing, like holding her hand out for my other hand, or putting the UV light in front of me. I still tipped well because my nails look great and maybe she was having an awful day, but I'm taking my money elsewhere from now on. I have been going here for years and my experience last Saturday was horrible. The guy that did my pedicure cut my nails leaving the corners sharp and didn't file one foot at all. So now I have 5 toenails growing into my skin. I called and spoke to a manager today and she basically told me I should have told him how to cut my nails! I told her that they are the professionals and I shouldn't have to tell them what to do. I explained my problem three times and her response was they would have to cut and refile the nails and no one would want to do that since they work on commission. I didn't want the guy to redo it so they would charge me for a whole new pedicure. I can't believe they would treat a long time customer in this manner. I told her I wouldn't be coming back and I'd find someone else to fix my nails. What a shame this place was great until new ownership/management took over. read more

Not only was a rushed, he did not shape my nails the way I wanted and even after I pointed it out he made less than a half ass attempt to fix them. not only did they stay shaped wrong they were all DIFFERENT LENGTHS. Worst place to get your nails done. The lady was extremely rude to me when I did not like the design she made for me but she didn't even discuss it with me first and my nails didn't match at all. I've been to a few different salons in the area and this is my favorite so far. It took me a while to even notice the place since it's inside the HEB but I'm glad I did. I got a mani and the deluxe pedicure. Both were thorough and well done. May did my nails- she was skilled and very nice to talk to. Their nail polish selection isn't great. I was surprised to see revlon and wet&wild brands in the mix. Regardless, I got a great service and I will be back. read more

Will not visit this place again,!!!! they have a sign at the entrance back to school special Manicure & Pedicure $32, then you are already sitting on chair they say that special is just for kids, adults $37, is not about paying a little more but I hate businesses that mislead customers. Then the girl didn't turn on massage chair, I did, which is part of paying for a service, she asked twice to turn off cause she couldn't work w massage chair...really!!! I have been in so many place was never asked that...of course they had the guts to ask you if you want to pay even more for SeaSalt massage..more and more when at first I was clear of what I wanted. We went today for a pedicure and a nail fill. My pedicure was fine. The fill my daughter got was another story. The lady did not know what she was doing and it took almost two hours. She also took off four nails and asked her she did it if it was okay. It was too late for my daughter to say no. At the end she charged her way more than expected. We will not return here. read more

I have been coming to da vi for a few months and I was happy with it because of the 25 dollar charge for a full set. Although my experience today was very disappointing. I had an appointment at noon and they did not start until 12:40, about 5 minutes into the manicure, the lady got up, walked out the door, and came back 10 mins later with a coffee in her hand. I had gotten a full set acrylic with regular polish, no shellac or solar, and she charged me 35 instead of 25. When I tried to say something she said that she did solar and that the color was not regular polish. I am very disappointed and will not be returning any time soon. read more

My teenager and her friend robbed by them. I specifically told the tech and manager that I want only a full set for both which is $25 each. The total ended up being $85. Why.... because supposedly my girls wanted Shellac. If that was the case Shellac is supposed to be $30. Then they said it's because of the style of cut combo square and oval. Nothing but BS. Instead of arguing with them I just paid it and no tip. Quality also sucked. read more

I went to Da Vi nails this past weekend to get a manicure and pedicure for the first time in about a year. I was treating myself and just expected to relax and get great service. That is not what happened and I left there having to go home and remove the nail polish from my skin and to apply a clear coat that covered THE WHOLE NAIL, not just part of it. I have never been so frustrated and I let them know. When you pay $20.00 for a manicure, you expect to get your cuticles oiled and trimmed/pushed back and your hands rubbed with oil/lotion. Nope, I had to ask them to do it and they said I didn't need it. Pure laziness. I ended up with three of the staff around me before someone would actually do it. The gal that did the 'french' manicure was just plain rude. She put the clear coat on about a quarter of an inch from my nail bed- because she did it so fast. She was very condescending when I asked her to paint the entire nail. She looked at me like I was crazy. Needless to say, I WILL not go back am still mad that I experienced that and have a fresh manicure that looks 1-2 weeks grown out (because of the clear coat line that dried above my nail bed. Oh, and I had maternity photos the next day with my hands the focal point. Don't waste your time going here. read more

I was greeted very quickly. I rarely get my nailed done in a salon because I don't care for them. But since I had a lunch date and my nails were all different lengths, I figured I'd go have them done. I asked for a simple manicure and I was asked numerous times if I wanted shellac. While "Nancy" was nice, I felt like she was haphazardly doing the manicure. -But I figured she has probably been doing this for years and knows what she's doing. I didn't get a good look at my nails until I left (I didn't have my glasses on.) All of my nails were all different lengths and different curvatures. They looked like crap. Also, the clear polish was not all the way to edged on some of the nails and peeling off on others. I'm glad I did not opt for a more expensive manicure. It was only $12.00, but it was a waste of money for me. When I got home I cut all of my nails very short and they looked so much better than the "manicure" I had received. ~Don't go there. read more

Real waste in Walmart, they did waxing one pulling my hand and another my leg, blood was pierced from my hand , they were surrounding me, horrible, they dirtied my clothes, they charged $125, before the service, damaged my full skin, they did half baked waxing, left me in the middle and did not return my money, horrible, pls don't waste your time here, I filed a suit in consumer court for the illegal activity. read more
