There's a reason PolishUp has a 4.9 rating and I'm here to add to it…read more I'll start by saying my review mantra is to ONLY leave a review for a place I'll definitely feel good about giving my money to or the exact opposite. I've been coming to PolishUp for a few months now and that alone would tell anyone that knows me, this place is THAT GOOD. I'm a loyal a** b**** and Gaby has me for LIIIIFE. She takes her time, listens to exactly what you want and delivers every-single-time. She's sweet as can be, too (which is a plus for socially awkward people like me) My toes are always sandal and flip flop ready and I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and immediately booking my ext appointment. Jackie, the owner, should be extremely proud of the establishment she's created. It's a modern nail salon with nail techs who do cute and top tier nail designs (if that's what you're into) or hit the mark with a good old fashioned mani/pedi. She's personable, warm, funny, relatable and cool as hell. If you're looking for a great way to pamper yourself a couple times a month, this is where you need to go. I'll be there every two-three weeks until they kick me out. (I'm not putting a picture of my toes because I'm not getting paid for that, just know they look good)

The level of unprofessionalism I have received is just so uncalled for. This is a long one, so I…read morereceived a 10% off coupon for my birthday which was perfect because I had a wedding to attend so I needed a pedicure, I have been here many times I've never had this experience as they have always been very friendly and on point with their services so it was never a question about where I was going to go. I went it and wasn't greeted I stood there for a bit before they approached me, I asked for pedicure I was sat down and I told them the service I wanted which was the CBD one which is about $88 with card which is the one I always get because they do hot stones, a 20 minute foot massage and scrubbing with hot wax. At first everything was going well until it came to the foot scrub, the lady only scrubbed the bottom of my feet I thought she was guna do the top last so I waited she then proceeded to drain the water so I told her she had forgotten to scrub my toes and top of the feet so she went back and quickly did it still leaving dead skin on, she moved on to the other services I told her I wanted a French tip. I sat there and let her do her thing she then began rubbing my feet which was horrible there was zero effort very lightly more as caressing rather then a massage, she then went on to the hot stones which she rubbed once on each side of my leg then put them away. She didn't finish the 20 minutes before she stopped and started drying off my legs with a towel. When everything was finished I looked and my toes were completely wrong the French tip was different, a piece of my nail was sticking out, the gel was bumpy. I went to the front to pay for the service and they asked me how it went I said I was unsatisfied with the way they came out I showed the polish and the piece of my nail that was sticking out. At first the lady up front tried to fix it but still wasn't able to I however had to leave because I was heading out of town which I said I had to go. She then told the lady who did my nails and comes back saying the lady told her I had a chip in my nail which is why the polish shape was off, she asked me if that was true as if I was lying about something or it was my fault. I paid and left they had texted me to which I left a review fully explaining what had happened. They then blew up my phone which I was at wedding, I then received a text which I posted below stating I could go in for a redo or get a refund, I declined the service because I had already gotten my nails redone when I went out of town so I asked for a refund. They then tried to offer me a $43 voucher to which I declined and then again asked for a refund, they then offered me a $43 dollar refund however they were also taking off the full 10% which only was going to be a $38 refund. I said no that was unacceptable as I was only getting a partial refund so adding the full 10% off was not okay. They then stated that was their policy. At this point I was done with the conversation as they were being rude and blaming me. I then let them know I would just be contacting my bank to dispute it through them. They then told me to go ahead and that the bank would contact them and they would let them know my services. I did not respond at that point then I received another message saying that the boss would not be arguing with me over 10% and that I could come in and get my $43 via cash. Again I did not respond. My services were $90 and the level of disrespect is so disheartening. I've come here many times I've spoke nothing less than highly of them and the treatment I have received over this. I will never be coming back here. They are nice people until something is done wrong then they flip and start being so rude and blaming the customer.

Would give no stars if that was an option. The woman that…read moreruns the front desk was very nice. But the rest of my experience was awful. Called to verify they were open at 7 and they had time for a pedi. "Yes come in" got there, Waited with my feet soaking for 20 minutes along with another customer that arrived at the same time as me as there was only the 1 worker there already with a client. 2 other workers strolled in and took their time getting to us. Finally got started and no more than 10 minutes in did my lady start trading shoes with another worker and joking around and left me waiting another 10 minutes for her and the other worker to be done goofing off. Noticed I was upset so then she comes back. She made me bleed and their "callus remover" service is just scrubbing your feet with water. They used no callus remover product that I get at every other salon I've ever been to. The massage was minimal effort and again kept stopping to talk to other workers. Now she's trying to get away with putting the wrong color on my toes ..... what the heck. It's now been 2 hours and my pedicure is still not complete. I came here excited that a salon opened this early and figured I could get in a get going with the things I need to do today. I might as well have waited for the other salons that open at 9. At least I would have gotten what I will unfortunately be paying for. I will definitely not be back. Lesson learned with this place !

Please be prepared that if anything's wrong, their fake smiles, will turn into a scowling as they argue you down- just to be right and to deny any wrongdoing versus being courteous and correcting the problem! The service was unprofessional, our services were left unfinished, yet we were still quoted full price! When our concerns were raised, the staff became even more argumentative instead of trying to resolve the issue. Henry was the only technician that I've seen consistently professional, and respectful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff skills and service fell far below expectations. I used to recommend this salon, but after this experience I no longer do. Terrible attitude from the younger nail tech and one of the more mature nail techs. She had a full-blown fit and refused to correct her work.
