Gemma is amazing, and so is Lupe. Gemma has the most gentle hands, it doesn't even feel like I'm getting my nails done. Her prep work and her art is top notch. The set is sooo beautiful. First time coming here and I was excited. The location and salon are cute but unfortunately my nails were not. After $75 my nails were uneven, bumpy, lumpy. I asked for a simple French and the French tips were uneven. I came back to get them fixed but they still looked bad. Will not be returning. :(

Love coming here! Everything is so clean and nice. I love that they keep the door locked and you have to ring the doorbell to come in, makes me feel like they prioritize client and employee safety! I get my nails done by Brittany and she never misses!!! 10/10 recommend. I always get offered water or tea which I've never been offered at any other salon before. Everyone's so nice and the vibes are always great :) I don't take pictures of my nails bc I don't like my hands, but here's today's set. Simple yet elegant

I posted a review about a negative situation that happened the day my daughter was suppose to get her nails done. We weren't happy, right away the owner contacted me and wanted to make this right because it definitely was not a reflection of the shop or the owner. I have never deleted a review I wrote because it's a factual experience that happened. I did receive a message from somebody who started a Yelp page just to tell me off. I want to let that person know I didn't delete my review because of you. I could care less what you think. I made a decision because of Lupe, wow what an amazing lady that deserve ten stars. She is someone that truly cares about her business and the customers happiness and satisfaction. Because their wasn't anyone available the day we came down for the appointment she scheduled my daughter on a Sunday when the shop was closed and no charge to my daughter. When my daughters arrived at the salon on Sunday it was Lupe and her daughter Jeanah. So welcoming, sweet and so apologetic about the situation. Both my daughters absolutely loved how Jeanah did her nails and enjoyed talking with her, not only nice but said she is so beautiful. The nails are gorgeous, and you can tell she cares. I am looking forward to meeting Lupe, she is an example of how owners should respond to Yelp reviews.

$35 for a design that looks like it was done by a toddler. At least my gel nails look ok. I'm confused to how you let someone walk out with nails like that. I think my techs name is Myesha. The gel manicure is not the worst BUT if you want a design save your money go somewhere else. Came here cause they had a last minute opening, won't be coming back.

When I first called to make an appointment Lupe had the best customer service I could ask for and was very helpful with finding a nail tech that could schedule me for a manicure! I absolutely love getting my nails done by Shannon! She is very friendly and talented. I am always leaving the nail salon relaxed and very happy about my nails. Cinthia is an amazing nail tech. I have gone to her twice, and each time, I have asked for specific designs. She has delivered each time. My nails come out beautifully. She is a true artist. If you are looking for a nail place, I definitely recommend Luminous. It's a clean and very friendly environment.

After yet another bad experience at the nail salon I used to go to, I decided to try a new place. Everyone was so nice, and Amy, my nail tech was great! Then a couple o& days after my treatment, I broke a nail, through no fault of the job done. I'm just really clumsy and hard on my nails. I made a last minute call to see if anyone could get me in for a repair. I got a return call straight away and Lupe worked wonders on my repair. I found them here on Yelp, so I thought I'd help pass along the word on a great salon. They're by appointment only, but go see them for your future nail needs. read more

The ladies that work at this salon are fabulous. They turn out beautiful nails and have wonderful clients! Courtney, has her own room where you can get a facial or eyelashes, or even make up. Lupe has been doing my nails for almost 9 years now. I have followed her from 3 salons to. 9 years and I have never had a nail lift off, I am always happy with my fills. Not only is she great at what she does, she is the nicest woman you will ever meet. She accommodates most schedules and will always do whatever she can to ensure her clients are happy. This is a choice you won't regret! I have recommended her to all of my friends, and constantly refer her when I receive compliments on my nails, which is weekly. read more

I am only writing this review because I cannot believe the way Alyssa treats her clients. First off the first appointment I had she was dead silent. Literally there for a paycheck and that's it and you can tell. I had to break the silence many times. She was cleaning my cuticles and hurting me. I told her she was hurting me but she didn't seem to care about that either. My next appointment I made she gave me a "dry" pedicure because I wanted French tip. She literally charges way too much and only took off 10 dollars. All she did was change my polish. I got sick have been sick going on 2 weeks and was on the fence to reschedule. Knowing how this place is I had to reschedule. I was already on the fence with her since she does not have the personality to be in this business. She's doesn't talk just works. It's a little annoying and uncomfortable. Who wants to sit with someone in dead silence for 2-3 hours. Not me. The owner is amazing she is talkative friendly all of that. However she wasn't taking new clients so I got pushed to this Alyssa girl. She just isn't friendly and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels like this. However I will not continue giving someone my business that really doesn't appreciate it in the first place. Had to make an appointment with someone else for Monday. read more

LOVE THIS SALON! i first went to maribel to get my christmas set and she did an amazing job! not only did she pay close attention to detail (and did a really good job at it), she was super sweet and easy to talk to. the salon itself is such a good vibe and very friendly atmosphere. i went to alyssa a few days ago after she was able to fit me in last minute and also did an amazing job. she was super fun to talk to and did my nails so good, have been getting so many compliments. seriously love it here and would recommend it to everyone :)) i've been to plenty of salons but no salon will compare to here! read more

After having a TERRIBLE experience with my former shop, I needed to find a new place to keep my talons looking up to par, so I hopped on yelp and found Luminous Nail Studio. I inquired about an appointment through Yelp, and got a quick response from the owner. She set me up with an appointment with Zoe. Let me tell you, she was amazing! My nails came out flawless with the design I wanted. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found this place! Zoe was attentive, took her time and made sure I was happy before cashing out. I have been to many nail salons in the area, and Luminous Nail Studio is by far THE BEST!! Jeanah is amazing! She is very detailed oriented and truly cares about her clients. I just recently started going to Lupe for my nails. I found her on Yelp and I'm seriously so grateful I did. I work in Valencia and live in Cal City. She's amazing at fitting me into the schedule in between my drive. The atmosphere at the salon is so comfortable, it's just like going to hang out with the girls for a bit. I love it. It's been so great that my mom, who lives in Chino Hills is now making the drive to get her nails done by Deann. Thank you so much!! I can't believe I forgot to add this part. As the appointments have rolled by, Lupe has helped me to break out of my comfort zone when it comes to my need to always have my nails the same dark reds. I have gone rogue with pinks and blues. I have been going to this salon and seeing Lorin for a few months now and let me tell you from my first time here I have been treated so well. The owner is always so sweet, welcoming and nice. Lorin (my nail tech) is sweet, attentive, detail oriented and overall a great person. Lorin has never told me she couldn't do whatever I asked regarding my nails. I wanted to remove my acrylics before I had my baby and she didn't tell me no or go somewhere else. She removed them and gave me a gel manicure. A few months after having my baby I contacted Lorin for a full set and she was more than happy to accommodate. I went with Gelx and wow this girl killed it. Not knowing what Gelx was and her taking the time to explain the process to me just goes to show you that Lorin truly cares about what she does and her clients. I really do love this salon. read more

I'm new to the city of Lancaster and was looking forward to my first session. After waiting about 2 weeks for our appointment,today we arrived very excited with my daughter for a fun mani/pedi day and was immediately turned away because my 7yr old son was with me. I'm new to the city, meaning I don't know any babysitters yet so it's hard to go anywhere without my kids. Anyway, I'm upset because nobody mentioned anything before hand. If it's a "policy" then it should be posted somewhere and mentioned when you're making an appointment. I never give bad reviews because I don't think it's worth getting upset BUT I think that maybe my review will help at least one other mother like me. If you have kids or anyone with you that does not have an appointment then you CANNOT go in. (I'm about to drive an hour back to LA to my nail lady where they don't discriminate). read more

These girls made me feel like home and on top of that they were overbooked and i was in need of a manicure and the owner took down my number to let me know if she had openings she would call me.. and she did!! Cute nail boutique. Tucked away just off the Blvd. I get my nails bone by Brittany and followed her here. She is the best I have found in this Valley and I have tried a lot of places. I get gel for my job which is customer service with the public and lots of typing. Last two weeks. And doesn't peel off like most places do. Your missing out if try her. I just recently found this nail studio and I am so pleased!!!!! Right when you walk in you are greeted right away and everyone is so nice.. they ask you if we would like something to drink when we are getting our nails done!!!! I feel like I am at home!!!The studio is so welcoming and a great place to relax and enjoy a spa day!!! They are right off the Blvd in a very well decorated shop:) it shows off each of the nail artist perfectly... anyways I got my nails done by Jenn and she is absolutely wonderful!! After trying to find the right person I finally did!! The product she uses lasts! You don't have to worry about a nail falling off!!! I will keep coming back!! When I went in for my first appointment everyone was super friendly!! The owner, Lupe is so kind and when I booked with Jeanah she was the best! After about a month of having the nails they were in perfect shape and none had fallen off. I've continued to book with Jeanah and she always does such an amazing job! One of my dear friends Britney is the lady who did my gel polish manicure and she is so lovely and make your experience thoroughly enjoyable. l can't remember the last time I've left a place with satisfaction and a smile for such a beautiful manicure and good company after getting my nails done . The shop is super chic as well as clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the vibe was relaxing and fun. My gel nails were done by Brittany and they are amazing! She is funny and nice to talk to. She really listens to what you want, takes her time and doesn't make you feel rushed, has a great creative eye, and is incredibly skilled. I did some research on this salon before going. I only went to check the place out. Lupe, the owner, got up and introduced herself to me. I explained that I was shopping around and had bad luck with a previous salon. She took a look at the shoddy work and offered to remove them for me. I get my nails done by Viridianaa! She makes my nails come out perfect every time. It is always coming out like the picture even with add ons, she is like the perfect copy and paste nail tech. I came in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, and unfortunately this was the worst experience I've…read morehad at a nail salon. During the manicure, the technician was extremely rough with my cuticles. Instead of properly softening them with cuticle cream or allowing them to soak long enough, she briefly dipped my fingers in water (which she dipped from my pedicure water) and then began cutting and pulling at dry skin. It was uncomfortable and did not seem like proper cuticle care. I became so concerned about how my cuticles were being treated that I asked her not to trim the cuticles on my second hand at all. Three days later, my gel polish is already chipping, and my cuticles look damaged and ragged. I've had many gel manicures before and have never experienced this level of poor technique or such short-lasting results. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but this experience was disappointing from both a service and quality standpoint. I would not return.

We walked in for our appointment early expecting to need time to pick colors and they sat us right away and started working. They treated my 6 yr old like an equal participant and took good care of her needs and nails and were kind and patient. Not how we were treated at balisima. Same with me. My pedicurist even continued to massage while the timer beeped for a short bit instead of rushing to be done. Much appreciated. He is also taking great care, paying good attention to detail and fixing any issues as he sees them. Also very relaxing. Its quiete, no loud repetative noises, people talking at normal volume and classic sounds of a nail salon. Enjoyable. Ive had less than nice service at other places around town and this place stands out as amazing in my book. I will say I felt a little rushed by being sat down so quickly and pelted with questions of what services we wanted. But I will be more prepared next time. And all the workers were just awesome I also did not love the physical stretch bending i had to do to get my hand in the UV machine when in the massage chair.
