So I'm not much of a shopper, especially around the holidays when there is complete madness at most stores but I have to make sure and give major kudos to Timothy at Lululemon! Timothy was awesome! He went above and beyond for me as a customer and kept me laughing and completely stress free while I did my best to shop for my husband. I really really appreciated that there was no pressure to buy things but suggestions and a lot of informative facts about Lulu's products. I love lululemon and am hopelessly addicted!! The store is great! You can't get halfway in before someone is checking to see if they can help you, but they don't over do in an annoying way at all. Such friendly, awesome people who just want to help you get your sweat on. This store also has free yoga on Saturday mornings, which is an awesome money saver, and lots of other free classes and fun things. I can't get enough of this store! The store was clean and organized, great stuff as you would expect from lulu. This was my first time shopping at a brick and mortar lululemon, and it was a really good experience. The best part was how super friendly the girls were. They all seemed really happy and enthusiastic about their products. They laughed with me about how weird it feels to bend over and check out your butt in the mirror to make sure the pants fit properly. I admit it, I was shocked at the price tag when I bought my first pair of lulu yoga pants. But I quickly learned that this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. So since that first purchase 5 years ago, I have been buying all of my yoga and running gear from lululemon. This might be an extreme case, but I have one pair of lulu run shorts (my "favorite shorts") that I wear for all my weekly long runs (I've also worn them for 8 marathons and many half marathons--so I guess they are also my "lucky shorts"), and even though I've abused the hell out of them, they look and feel like new. read more

Watch out lulu lovers I just purchase a new lulu jacket called Form II whis so suppose to be like the original Define jacket we all loved. Yes it did fit better but the powers to be changed the zipper which is smaller than the fashion statement ones and Imwas having trouble getting it to zip up. This is a cool Lululemon with a very helpful staff. It is nice to see that they have "upped their game" when it comes to men's clothing. I bought a pair of Kung Fu Pants that are the most comfortable that I own and the sales people very diplomatically suggested that with my "big ass" I might try the XXL and get the pants hymned in Northern California. I didn't actually visit the store; I shopped online and was thrilled to find the "we've made too much" section. I settled on a pair of black stretch pants that were around 50$ as opposed to 98$ and they were worth every penny! My package arrived surprisingly quick and I have never been happier with an online purchase ...actually any purchase! They are true to size and fit perfectly. They are of the highest quality; thick and comfy. I never want to take them off and with the way they hold their form I never have to! read more

I came to this location for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded and I really like the openness and layout of this store. Although my toddler wasn't with me, I noticed they had a basket of toys by the fitting rooms and I really appreciate that as a mom! Customer service was great! I bought 2 tanks and a pair of crops, the sale rack had a good selection as well. It's pricey, but I think the fit and quality is worth it. read more

I experienced very TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! as they have the WORST RETURN POLICY EVER!!!! Many others have commented on the same issue that I had where Lululemon would not return or simply exchange a brand new shirt (with tags attached, and never worn/used). My wife got a shirt as a gift and it did not fit her - when we tried to work with the store they would not allow her to exchange it because it had been over 2 weeks! This is ridiculous and terrible customer service. This shirt was a gift and since it does not fit her she wanted to get a different shirt for equal or lesser value that would fit, but was denied because it was "after 2 weeks". I know my family will never use any of their products again, and I will tell every person I can to avoid this company based upon this negative encounter. read more

I left a message during Saturday afternoon 12:16pm regarding a single tank top for men and received 5 personal calls. 2:57, 4:02, 4:07, 7:40, 9:20 The second and third I missed due to work and most companies would call it "good enough" that they called even twice but the persistent 5th call they were able to get a hold of me at 9:30 pm regarding fixing an issue regarding payment processing. It is extremely rare nowadays to receive such excellent customer service. Over the holidays I received a few gift certificates to Lulu, over $200. I knew that this particular location has a pretty big selection, so I decided to go to this one over the downtown location. I am a Pilates instructor so I've been wearing Lulu for years. While the quality of the clothing is not quite what it once was, I still really like their stuff. At this La Jolla location I went in looking for pants and whatever else caught my eye. I could barely get anyone to help me. I stood around waiting for an employee to let me into a dressing room while she casually stood around chit chatting with other customers for at least 10 minutes. When she finally did acknowledge me, her attention to me was very short. I felt like I was invisible when I wanted to ask a few questions. As I walked to the register to check out the lady at the counter walked away. I stood there for several minutes alone before a girl hanging clothes finally noticed me and came to help. This area of town is very "high class" but the customer service is awful and snobby! read more

First off, let me start by saying that I created this account just so I could write this review. Second, that I absolutely LOVE lululemon's clothes. With that being said, I will NEVER EVER EVER shop there again! Especially at this location. If there was an option to give this place 0 stars, I would. As a fitness instructor, I love their clothes. However, the horrible experience I had at this store is enough to make me never shop there again. Like I said, I am a fitness instructor, I teach Jazzercise (Yes, Jazzercise!) and go through workout clothes like it is nobody's business. When I was in St.Louis visting my mom and Grandma, I went into the lululemon at Plaza Frontenac so my grandma could treat me to some new workout apparel. The women were so friendly, kind and helpful, and helped me pick out tons of wonderful items that would be perfect for my career. When we went to checkout, they were sweet enough to inform us that I received a discount for being a fitness instructor (awesome, right?) and signed me up so I would save money on that purchase and all other purchases. I was stoked and wore my gear on stage with pride. Fast forward a couple of months, my mom came out to San Diego to visit me and I was excited that she had agreed to buy me some more work clothes. We went to lululemon and I picked out A TON of stuff, when we got to the register though, things got strange. The girl behind the counter kept questioning me about the fact I was a fitness instructor. I was a bit taken aback and insulted to say the least, but ignored it. Then she asked again, "You're an instructor?!" "Yes," I replied nicely, "I've told you that now a few times." "And all these clothes are for you?" she responded. I was shocked she was even asking. Everything was the same size and my mom was simply there to swipe her credit card (Sorry, Mom, but it's true.) Then, she asked again, "ALL of these clothes are for you?" At this point I was getting annoyed, as was my mother since we were spending thousands of dollars, and I replied again nicely that all these clothes were for me. Then, she asked AGAIN! At this point, I couldn't believe my ears. I replied, "Why do you keep asking? All of these clothes are the same size. My mom is buying them for me. All of these clothes are for me." She responded, "I just want to be sure the discount is only being used for you. The truth is, one of the girls thought she overheard you in the dressing room saying some of these clothes were for your mom." WTF? Why are you listening to us? And haven't you ever played the game Telephone? At this point, my mom explains to her AGAIN that she is a larger size, and all these clothes are for me. I was so insulted, offended, and embarrassed that I asked to speak to the manager. Here, my poor mom has had to say her size multiple times in front of the entire store, while trying to buy her daughter some clothes. I explained the situation to the manager and she just sat there starring at me. I finally said, "You know, I'm a fitness instructor and I wear your clothes on stage, advertising your brand for you. I don't have to do that if I'm going to be treated this way." She abruptly responded and said, "Well we don't have to give you the discount!" Needless to say, we left and the next day returned everything that we were able to (see the other reviews regarding their return policy). When we got into the car I called their corporate office and explained the situation. The lady seemed appalled and thanked me for being a customer and hung up saying she would speak with the store manager. Last week I was in St.Louis and my mom and I thought we would give lululemon another shot since our first experience at that store was so great. All of the girls were again, so nice and friendly, remembering me, asking why I was visiting, etc.. I picked out a few things and my mom and I went to pay at the register, at which point the girl behind the counter informed me that there was a note in the computer from the San Diego store saying that my instructor status was "inactive." I couldn't believe it. I honestly couldn't believe it. Those silly little girls. Again, I called the corporate office from the car and they said someone would be calling me back regarding the situation and apologized. I never heard from anyone. I will NEVER EVER EVER shop at lululemon again! I had already told all of my customers about the horrible experience I had in La Jolla and encouraged them not to shop at that store, but now, I want nothing to do with this brand. I am going to tape over their logo on the clothes I already own while on stage and tell my customers to take their business elsewhere. Beware if you plan to shop at this store, it is run by a bunch of teenage girls, not business professionals. Go back to high school ladies. Your immature antics lost a valuable customer. Please don't bother having your Social Media intern reply with some generic response like the rest. It's not worth it. read more

I like their products. However, they REALLY need to do better on customer service at this store. Most times, nobody helps me or seems to understand that I need a fitting room. A lot of times, the employees are chatting with each other, so I have had to wait until they are done talking, interrupt and remind them that I need help with fitting or a purchase. One of the smaller lulu stores i've been to (vs boston & honolulu), but the friendly staff more than made up for it. At first I felt a little out of place (but not like victoria secrets kine), as I was the only guy in the store at that time. But the staff was very helpful in assisting me find the right size for some gifts. Overall the brand is quite pricey, but you get what you pay for as you can clearly see and feel the quality of their products. This store sells quality work-out clothing. However, it's quite expensive. Pants seem to average $80 here at least. They do tailoring for free. My only complaint was the salesperson, a male, failed to put my name on the pants that he sent off to get hemmed so I had to sorta chase them down. The staff at this lulu is extremely friendly and charismatic. The team they have working there is energetic and you can tell from the second you walk in that they genuinely want to help you. This staff (multiple people) bent over backwards to help me with a couple of pairs of pants I wanted (searching inventory and calling other stores) and they were all very friendly with my big German Shepherd. Lululemon is awesome. They have the best yoga pants you can buy (Groove Pants) that make your tush look great. Their stuff is definitely a little pricey but the quality is excellent. I absolutely adore lululemon- they have fun, fashionable, functional clothes for serious athletes to novices. I just ran a marathon wearing their gear and it was PERFECT!! They have fun group work out events and everyone in the store is so friendly and helpful. Although the clothing is pricey- you really do get what you pay for. My husband is now a fan and he's not a big fan of spending money on clothing...but he bought a couple pairs of pants and now they're his favorites!
