Came to Burlingame Ave yesterday at around 3pm to check out this store in person. I have yet to own a pair and wanted to see the items in person. But as soon as I got to the front, an employee just ruined my soon to be experience. She was not welcoming at all, no greeting whatsoever. Isn't that the purpose of having someone at the front of the store? Instead, I felt judged and felt like I wasn't welcomed inside. I changed my mind and bypassed the store. Around 15 minutes later, I passed by the store to return to my car and heard the SAME employee talk to a customer with attitude. Instead of reeducating the customer about their store policy due to COVID, she tells the customer, if you get in line, you'll be the next one in the store. And as the customer realizes and then stands in line, the employee then says, good job. She was very condescending and sarcastic. I am so glad I decided not to go inside the store. Their products may be awesome, but the customer service and experience is key! That's what makes loyal customers... I hope that employee just had a bad day, but I also hope that the manager sees this review and talks to her... read more

Super friendly here. I also like how this place is more Chill and has less people that come...at least when I came earlier today (6:15pm). They actually had a lot of sale stuff intermingled with their regular-proved stuff. I tried on a top and the sales associate in the fitting room area was really chatty, friendly, and helpful wth questions and such. She said she bought the top I bought in black and loves it. She was also helpful when I asked her if the top holds everything in (lol) when working it since it was a low cut top. She totally explained how she uses the top and it reassured me of my purchase :) When I paid for my top, it was great to hear the cash rap lady reassure me of my purchase. She said she loved the top I got as well and bought it too. She also let me pick which Lulu tote I wanted with my purchase. Bam! :) Coming from Chicago I've had great experiences at many Lulu locations in the bay...associates seem really nice and this location is def representative of that :). I'm usually in the area to pick up food but now I have another reason to come here :) read more

I absolutely love Lululemon - and it goes beyond being a patriotic Canadian. I love them for their quality, not being too outlandish in style, their selection, and the fact they have ass-pants. Which to me is even more fun to say than "Lulu..lemon". C'mon - ass-pants! Gotta love the phrase. Not only that but my ass needs all the assistance it can get - it's a high maintenance ass (meaning, a crappy ass I need to hide/augment/artificially improve). Anyway, this particular Lululemon was a much more enjoyable shopping experience for me than the one in Cow Hollow SF. The staff was so friendly and helpful here, I didn't feel out of place or too-ugly or whatever to be shopping here. Plus, there were tap dancers to watch, which was pretty cool. And I left with a fabulous yoga coat that I got several spontaneous "kudo's" on when worn to work. Yep, Lululemon is expensive but their stuff washes well and apparently lasts a very very long time. The Burlingame location didn't have the number of sale items that the Cow Hollow location did (they had a ton of sale stuff in when I went a while back), but perhaps it was just the time I was there. Will definitely be back. Just so I can mention I want to go look at the ass-pants to my husband. Yes, I'm that immature. read more

I love Lululemon!! Yes the apparel is a bit pricey, but folks it's time to shop quality over quantity! I have never felt regret after slipping on the fantastic sweat absorbing materials from here. Pricey, well-made yoga clothes. Some cute styles. I check out their wares periodically, both in store and online. Very cute yoga bags. I'm not floored by any of their other stuff. I've only bought a hairband there that continually slips off. But I think that's more a factor of my giant noodle than the quality of the hairband. One really great thing about them tho is that they have very helpful and friendly staff. When I asked whether they carried a different style of headband, one of these very helpful staff people said that while they didn't have it at the time, she would talk to the owner to see about stocking up on them! read more

Perhaps my favorite lululemon store in the Bay Area. Store is large with great natural light. Staff is always friendly and helpful even with long lines at the cash registers. Great place to do last minute birthday or Christmas shopping! If your wife/ girlfriend/ effeminate boyfriend is into working out, and does not like to look like a slob at the gym, then by all means go to Lulu Lemon. Here is a place packed with great, comfortable clothes in all (many) sizes and styles, and it caters to the in-shape or gettin-in-shape crowd. The women who work here are knowledgeable and kind, and can work with a guy who says "I want to spend $500+ and get as much nice stuff as I can." Lululemon makes top quality products which justify their astronomical prices. ~$100 for a pair a pants that lift my butt, make it look better than J-Lo's booty, I likes!! Cute & functional bags which I use for school, work, and the gym. They offer several compartments for your ipod, cell phone, make up, snack bars, and even a special "baggie" for sweaty clothes/shoes compartment. I love the Scuba hoodies, they're thick and come in bright vibrant colors depending on the season. However the super cute ones always sell out fast :( Their tanks are a little off for sizing. I am normally a size 4 but usu. have to buy a size 6. Same with sports bras. If you buy any of their cotton bras, those are normally true to size. In regards to the Burlingame Lululemon, this one has the best selection. I've been to the one in Honolulu, Berkeley, San Francisco (Union Street & Grant Avenue), and Newport Beach-hands down for Burlingame! You find the hard to find cute gym bags, hard to find colors that always sell out! As for customer service, the brand ambassadors are pretty friendly willing to help and always offer free hemming-esp for me since I am a shortie (5'3") -_- Another big plus, they offer free yoga classes which unfortunately I am unable to attend because of work. But if you have time definitely try it out! Bottom Line: Lululemon is an alternative to plastic surgery. Brazilian butt lift be gone! Their groove pants will make your ass out of this world!! High quality material and will last you for years. I've had my groove pants for nearly 3 years and it's still in the same condition I bought it in. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Love it so much that I wear it out as normal gear. Workout clothes that are both functional and fashionable. Imagine that. and west coast style too...aw yeah! I heard about it from a friend. Lululemon (which is actually a Canadian company) constantly integrates feedback from customers and professional yoga instructors into the design of their yoga wear. Truly impressive. They're not just designing fad duds or things for the-runway-but-not-reality. I love how Lululemon actually aims to build a better product for yoga fans (or anyone who wants comfy workout clothes). Heck, I wear my Lululemon everywhere. If you check out any of their pieces, you can immediately tell it's high quality. Great material and workmanship. They told me their clothes last years on average (as opposed to months for some cheapo wear). They do change designs pretty often though and bring in the latest colors...which is a nice alternative to the boring classic/neon designs and colors from bigger athletic gear behemoths like Nike or Adidas. Another HUGE plus for petite women -- they offer very very small sizes. No more bulky jackets like you're lost in an old school track sweatshirt. woo hoo! e.g. even their medium thick hoodies are form fitting. I love the Burlingame manager. She is SO NICE and well informed, doesn't push you at all and truly tries to give the best advice. It's such a great company, great company culture. I walk in and see that they have yoga stuff for guys. I'm always complaining that guys don't have yoga clothes but not any longer. The sweet sales girl explains to me that they have guest yoga instructors on Sundays FREE and I ask is it in back? No, we move everything to the side was her answer as I looked at the space that was available after I mentally pushed the racks to the wall. She says they had about 30 people last time. This I wanted to see, so I'll have to come one day. There was this picture of a guy doing fitness and they had sign up sheets for his boot camp too. But, back to the retail. They have free hemming, which is a plus because everything runs long for the guys. It's expensive, so that helps out a bit. Though, if you're the type that religiously workout with yoga, palates, and want to actually look good in your workout clothes rather than a gangster, rapper, roll out of bed college student, baggy pants hip hop artist Lulumon will make you look good while you sweat or cat walking the concrete jungle. read more

Lululemon sells very high-quality, cute work-out wear. Up-to-date color palettes and styles. However the prices tend to be on the high side. That being said, I like the Groove pant a lot. A couple bad points: While the entie staff is generally very helpful and friendly, many can often be too foward with unsolicited information, which doesn't allow one to feel comfortable browsing casually at their leisure. I'm a repeat customer, yet I've been informed countless times (without asking) how the pant styles and yoga mats are arranged just for merely glancing at those sections. I know, thanks! Also (and this applies mostly to the Union Street location), the main clientele tend to be the typical, spacey, self-absorbed "Marina girls". I've been smacked by large handbags, or run into countless times, without so much as any acknowledgment or quick apology. Not the fault of Lululemon, but makes for a yucky shopping experience. I love canadian stores that come to the US (re: Aritzia)... This store had really friendly staff who were really very helpful in helping me pick out what was best in addition to how often one should wash and to never wash lululemon products with towels or socks (was obviously my first time there)... I ended up buying a pair of running shorts on sale with a cute little pocket on the back and feel like you have nothing on, soooooo comfortable. Oh lululemon, you just turned me into a fan today! After a long period of unsuccessful attempts to find a sports bra that gave me support, shape, and most importantly, FRIPPLE COVERAGE, I succumbed to the Victoria's Secret of sexy sportswear. I held out as long as I could, but seeing all those cute and well-fitting designs on my fellow Bikram yoga classmates, I wanted to be part of the club too. Call me shallow and high maintenance all you want, but what's wrong with a girl who wants to look sexy while she is sweating buckets to feel good? The store is very neatly organized and well-spaced while their customer service is wonderful! I was greeted immediately. After scanning their sports bra rack for a couple of minutes and thoroughly confusing myself, Rebecca came to my aide. She was very knowledgable about the items, helped pull the appropriate styles and sizes for me, and was never pushy at all. I walked out with 3 new items tucked into a cute little reusable/eco-friendly bag with yoga poses on them. lululemon items ARE pretty pricy, but no pricier than what you would spend on a typical VS bra. Besides, the value is worth it. I will definitely be back to look for those pants that fellow yelper Jennifer C P. says will make my ass look amazing! read more

I whole heartedly agree with Nicole's review - it IS all in the people! The customer service is EXCELLENT. I'm always greeted within a few seconds of walking in the door and there is always someone available to answer any questions that I have. It also took me having a very poor experience at the Palo Alto location to realize Lululemon in Burlingame is a real gem! The staff are down to earth, genuinely friendly and truly knowledgeable about their products. They are also more than happy to give their opinion on what looks good on you if you ask :) I can't say enough nice things about the people here. It's really a pleasant experience and they truly do stand 100% behind their clothing. If you have an issue or problem, they will try and fix it. They also offer to look online for you if they don't have something you want in stock. 5 stars for customer service. As I'm strolling down Burlingame Ave., something hits me over the head (figuratively) and I decide I need some work out clothes from Lululemon (I don't work out, but now that I have new workout clothes, maaaaayyyybbbbeeee I will). I walk around the store in sticker shock, however, decide it's a good idea to pick out a few pieces. I like this and I like that, but the items I like aren't available at the store in my size. I have a sweet salesperson assist me and she orders the clothes online for me. At the end of the checkout, she says that my items will arrive within a week's time. Not happy...at which point I ask why the store isn't expedite shipping them to me - they are out at the store and I have no choice but to buy online- why should I not get my items quickly then? She tells me immediately that she will see what they can do. Two days later, I receive my Lululemon package - kudos ladies of Lululemon Burlingame. I will be coming back. Hopefully not soon because who wants to spends hundreds on workout clothes too often? read more

If I were a millionaire, no, even a thousandaire, I would give this place five stars but I can't ignore the depression that sets in after I realize I can't go nuts in this fun store. I love everything in it, but the prices are a bit too steep on my budget. Yet somehow still justifiable... Truly, though, their clothes are awesome. After much looking around, trying on, and making the sales woman run around for me, I found a great sports bra that has held up (and held 'em up...) wonderfully and was on sale to boot. Staff members are super cool - they'll get you sizes and suggest different styles or colors without a single sigh; in fact, they're totally enthusiastic about their products and seem to genuinely like what they do. Prior to being introduced to this store by my friend, I would never in a million years pay forty eight bucks for a pair of work out shorts.. But I knew there was a difference once I started using those shorts.. The shorts have never failed me after thousands of times in the wash unlike my cheap track pants that I got at Target that somehow got a hole in them after only using them for a month... I like the ample selection and styles of apperal. The track jackets and yoga pants look so comfy... I really like the fact that the store also offers to hem pants to fit you perfectly.. Something useful for a person like me who is vertically challenged... All the sales people are helpful and never push you into buying gear. My new favorite store!!! My current obsession are tops with thumb holes. A sweet, sweet girlfriend bought me one for Christmas from Lululemon and I went back over the weekend to check out the store. Definitely a little pricy for workout clothes but I really like the quality and styles of their clothes. They had a couple of discount racks and I found 2 items (with thumb holes) that I had to have. I reaalllly wish Lululemon believed in vanity sizing. I would shop there more often! I am a Latina with curvas but I still refuse to believe that I am the size I bought! Besides that, I love my "Wunder Under Crop" so much that I wear 'em even when I'm not working out! At $78 they aren't cheap but the comfort and the quality make them worth the splurge. Best damned work out gear. It's super cute and super functional. Yes, it's $$$, but the quality matches. As an avid runner, yoga and Bar Method junkie, it's so nice to look good before, during and after a work out. Ladies, you know what I'm talking about when your bootie looks cute in the Reverse Groove pants. You feel more motivated to keep that in shape. Love the long-sleeve running tops with the ipod-friendly compartments and other hidden pockets. Can't get over the mittens hidden in the sleeve. BEST EVER. Also have the cotton sweat suits for just lounging and pre-warm up. Oh yah, and the staff if also ridiculously fun and attentive. The gals always are a pleasure to see. read more

So adorable :o) It is nothing short of genius to have a name like that- four syllables that have the power to put you into an instant uber-girly mentality. (Read: I will succumb to purchasing anything soft, comfy, and cute) As a member of the female gender, it pains me to say that we girls really are indeed such easy prey- nay victims- of such ploys in advertisement. I love this place - the clothes are amazing and they have free hemming. It is also the only place that actually sells yoga clothes for men that are not just heavy sweats. They sell longer lengths, but I'm 5'10" and the regular cut fits me just fine. I've bought two pants, two tops and several headbands and my husband has purchased a pair of pants and a jacket. I also got the "cutest" workout bag for my friend. The colors are fabulous and the clothes make you feel beautiful and fit. I've only had mine for a few weeks, but all the girls in my bar method class say the clothes last forever if you wash them on cold and do not dry in the dryer. Why the 3 stars - prices are too high, even for the bay area. The store is a visual delight so I would stop in even if you don't intend on spending $84 on yoga pants. read more

A couple people have mentioned it but no one listed the new address. They used to be on 1111 Burlingame ave but have moved to 1304 Burlingame ave. It's annoying too because as someone else had mentioned, they don't seem to answer their phone. I came here to be disappointed and then did some research in the middle of the street on my phone to realize they just moved 3 blocks down. Anyway, as for the store, the staff are really nice and definitely know their products. Pretty attentive and offer free hemming. This lululemon location tops the Marina one x10000000000000000! Seriously though, the service is much better and the people are genuinely attentive to your needs. I needed to get my reverse groove pants tailored and the girl folding the pants, Renee, stopped what she was doing to help me out. She started a fitting room for me immediately and she was very thorough with getting the right length for me. Not to mention, the fitting rooms here are way more awesome because it has enough mirrors so you can check out that bootylicious behind =) Plus, they're bagging their goodies with a semi-sturdy reuseable bag instead of paper bags! Came here for the first time a few weeks ago to buy yoga pants as a gift and was immediately impressed by the store. Everything was neat and fairly well organized, despite it being a busy day. Being a first timer here, I naturally had a lot of questions about the products offered here. All of the employees I met were very nice and more than happy to answer my questions, bring out products from the back for me to look at, and make recommendations on clothing. In addition to my gift, I ended up buying a pair of No Show Running Socks for myself. After years of not really paying attention to the quality of socks I was blown away by how comfortable and well designed they were to prevent them from riding down and keeping my feet dry. The only thing that I would change about this store is to have items on sale other than clearance. As a student shopping here is devastating to my wallet and a couple of sale periods per year would be appreciated. Fast forward to Christmas day, my mom was very happy with the gift I bought her and I have a new store added to my favorites list : ) Overall, I give the store 4.5 stars, (a few minor improvements would make it 5) I'll definitely be coming back at some point. read more

I never write reviews but I had to after visiting the store today. If you're looking to buy lululemon gear, it's worth driving farther to a lululemon store that actually has workers that give you the same treatment to any customer of any age, gender, or Race. The workers gladly greeted and welcomed customers of a certain race I prefer not to specify. However, my friend and I was stared at the whole time by one of the workers who did not bother to come up and greet us. She had very curly hair and was pretty tall; just hanging out by the fitting room. When my friend was asking her for advice on the leggings, she seemed like she did not want to help at all. I ended up buying a legging and an accessory but I bought them for the quality. I am so disappointed, I would rather buy gear online instead of going to this store. read more

I thought I was just beginning a new obsession (first order), but it ended abruptly. Purchased a Oh So Sherpa jacket online, received in just a couple days, no complaint here, it came labeled with a final sale tag and I paid full price. I thought that it would be an easy fix by calling the customer care line and it was all but easy. I was first informed that the jacket was shipped from a store because the price is the price and they should have removed the final sale ticket and didn't, they bad. Of course, I asked for the adjustment and nope the price is the price and online is different than the store. I ordered online and it came shipped as an online order with the reduced price tag but he did not want to hear it. I was given the "I know this is confusing", no it's disappointing... and of course I receive "I'm sorry to hear that, but the online price is the online price". Then while I was talking to the great customer care representative, I went to their online site and I see that it has the reduced price online as well. When I let him know that, he's like when did that happen, like I updated it... He goes on to tell me that they make adjustments within 30 days if there is a price change, but a minute later he tells me that my size is now sold out so unfortunately he can not make the adjustment. I then say, I'm disappointed again, especially since my jacket came with the reduced tag and for all I know it came from the warehouse, not a store and really what does it matter??? read more

I went to this Lulu because I had been to the one in Palo Alto and they didn't have what I was looking for. I wasn't expecting anything special, but the sales girls (and guy) were all helpful and friendly. Usually, I go in look around and don't expect the sales people to talk to me. But everyone said hi to me, asked if I needed help or a fitting room and a couple asked what type of workouts I did, and suggested different products without being pushy. The layout of the store is spacious and laid out well so there was plenty of room and it didn't feel cramped or crowded. All in all a great sales experience especially for a Lululemon! Out of the three on the peninsula, this one is the best! read more

You can't go wrong with this lululemon store! I frequently shop here because the clothes are good quality, and fit very comfortably for my daily workouts and running errands. The staff at this location is extremely friendly and very helpful. Despite how annoying it is, I always call before I come in, because I'm constantly in such a rush and pressed for time, and they always have the perfect item waiting for me. They really make some great workout clothes that you will get plenty of use out of. Remember to try on your stuff, their return policy is limited to two weeks. Happy Lulu customer! ;) read more
