While the staff was great and it was so nice to be out I noticed no strict social distancing measures in there. No limits on amounts of people. There were girls shopping not wearing a mask at all and no one was asking them to put a mask on. I love Francesca's but you have to think about what could be spread in those dressing rooms or even roaming around in the store when the restrictions aren't being followed. read more

This place is really hit or miss. Sometimes people greet you and sometimes they don't even acknowledge your presence. Today was a great day because Lety was very welcoming and even helped me choose a few items! She spent her time equally among all the customers in the store and checked back in with you. Not to mention there was also a big sale on jewelry. Lol If you've read any of my other reviews, I don't need someone to hold my hand as I shop, but at least acknowledge that you have a potential customer. You don't have to help me shop or even recommend anything, just be courteous. However, I definitely thank Lety for a great shopping experience! Francesca's is always an attractive store, no matter the location, and you know you will get something cute not trying even hard. My girlfriend and I entered this morning 'just to browse' and, of course, we left with something in bag...mostly because of the 60% sales on top of the already discounted items. You can really find great deals at Francesca's, just need to keep going and going until you get that awesome double discounted something you don't need but you must have. This is a nice little store with lots of jewelry, candles clothes and limited shoes. They told me if I buy I pair of shoes the second pair was free. That is what I did.a month prior they had the same deal and I bought two pairs of shoes. I got back to my office around the corner and was showing them to a co worker and noticed one pair was to large.(Remembering their sizes are not always accurate )so I went back with in an hour, receipt in hand to-get a smaller size. I was told by a different cashier the shoes were not free as there was no red tag, and they were taken from me. ! I was never told about a red tag and since the purchase was made and I left the store they should have honored it. It was their error .I did not see one red tag on any of she shoes .I then offered to buy them but not for $60. I will never go back to this store. This is Not good customer service read more

What a find! Adore this place. Now reading everyone else's reviews, I see I missed out by not spending time at their clothing racks. I have a good excuse, though. I was on my lunch break and I had to peruse their cocktail rings! They had so many that I didn't even have time to look at their necklaces and bracelets. I planned on doing that the next time around. I see now that I must also budget in time (and my pocket book) to check out the clothes and shoes! What a very cute boutique. I wish I remember the woman's name that helped me. Bestie and I always come here when we're in Burlingame.....and we always walk out with something. Today I was in the mood to buy scarves and bought a pretty lightweight scarf for a resonable price. I love their accessories here; I purchased a turquoise necklace and am always on the lookout for more costume jewelry.The clothes here are cute and also well priced. I am sooo happy to see Francesca's has finally made it's way into my neighborhood!! I was once introduced to this store when the closest thing to the peninsula was in San Diego. Needless to say, I only got to shop there if we were on vacation. On a trip there last year, one of the girls added me to an email list, and I eventually found out they were recently moving here. This boutique has some of the cutest clothes. Many things are pretty trendy, but I love their overall style and feel. Price wise, I think they are pretty moderate. This isn't a pretentious store at all. You feel really comfortable shopping here and the sales girls are really sweet too. The best way to explain this boutique is that it's like walking into a treasure chest. There's so many hidden things you'll find every time you walk in. The store may be a bit to digest at first, but then you find the area that you're drawn to, and won't walk away empty handed :-) Welcome to the neighborhood Francesca's! I've spent many workdays skipping eating lunch, and instead browsing through racks and racks of cute clothes at Francessca's. I love that their store always highlights clothes and colors that are in season, so I don't have too think too hard ;) They have cute little accessories too! Earrings, rings, scarfs, purses, shoes, and most times you can find these items on sale =D I deducted 1 star because of the service. Came in here the opening week and I continue to make frequent visits to view whats new in the shop. They offer cute day dresses and clothes at reasonable prices around $30-40 (that's cheap when it comes to burlingame ave.) and really cute jewelry. The sales associates are extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience going here. I need to stay away though cause i always fall in love with their items and i have an urge to buy. I have yet to find a boutique curated as well as those I frequent back home in Honolulu. Strange as it sounds, it is true. Francesca's Collections is the next best thing. I usually go to the Stonestown location, but decided to visit this one since it's closer to home. I wasn't greeted when I walked in - maybe because it was busy that day - and I shrugged it off. It was initially off-putting, but hey, whatever. When I asked to use a dressing room, I was assisted promptly, and at check out, the girls seemed pleasant, if nothing else. No complaints there. The clothes here are cute, mostly flirty and whimsical. They're on top of all the latest trends without being excessive and are able to provide high quality product at affordable prices. They also have an extensive jewelry and bag collection that can literally take years to go through! I love that they have so many options. The store can sometimes get busy, especially during the weekends, so if you're looking to browse in peace, it may be safer to go on a weeknight or early in the morning. This store definitely doesn't fill the void left by the likes of Bamboo Sky or House of Aria, but it will certainly do for now. Yes, there are multiple sizes in the dress that you want but not an entire rack which then multiples the possibilities that 5 other girls are going to have the same dress. This store isn't HUGE but it's very well maintained. Easy to find things and easy to shop. It's a 'grown up' selection. Classic, modern but fun. Reasonable pricing. They often have sales such as buy one get the other half off an accessory. Just recently they had a 50% off one item via Internet which was a GREAT deal! I am a Francesca's fan, and have frequented their Danville location. I love the boutique feel without the boutique prices. This location is similar in set up and merchandise to their others. The girls there were sweet and friendly-no issues there. Originally I had went in to purchase a gift, which I found-a cute journal for a friend. I literally could spend all day looking at their jewelry-AND they were having a buy one get one 50% deal. Alas, my boyfriend was with me just frowning by the door, so I didn't get to look at everything. I did score a cute peasant top for spring, which was well priced and unique. I don't get to frequent Francesca's as often as I like, but when I do, always find something fun for myself or others. Bonus star here because they giftwrap for you! It was an extra $1.50 for a gift bag, which is an awesome price.They provided a classy black and white patterned bag-which, if it were given to me as a gift-I wouldn't even want to open it because it looks so nice! How cute is this place? I have walked by it a few times and have never walked in, until a few days ago. My friend told me she liked it and said it was like Therapy, but not as expensive. She was right. They have some really, and I mean really cute dresses and accessories. If I wasn't trying to be good and save some money, I probably would have walked out of there with a ton of stuff. My friend was right though, their prices are reasonable, and doesn't make you feel like you have to have a ton of money to be fashionable and trendy. There's a good selection of jewelry and cute clothes here. If you want to get a cute little gift they have a ton of little items. Pretty girly. I went in one evening, and it was actually a few minutes until closing. The manager was nice to let me continue browsing and try on the dresses I was interested in. I went to Francesca's yesterday and today. I do agree with a past review that there were no strict social distancing rules. Today the cashier said that even though there is a sign that says "everything 60% off" the candles weren't and there was no fine print saying otherwise. While that is the stores fault, the cashier had a rude tone and looked at my mom weird. I like the whimsical jewelry and accessories here and it's a great place to browse and find gifts for friends. However, I have to agree with other posters who say they weren't greeted or helped much here. I realize I look young for my age (not bragging, pros and cons to this in my industry) and I don't dress to the nines when I'm shopping but what the sales people don't know is I live in the neighborhood and have money I could used to patronize the store more if I was just acknowledged. One thing I had observed the last time I had gone to Francesca's is that the further reduced clothing items were quickly snatched up by the employees working there. I thought that was totally unfair and against any kind of store policy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this boutique!! By far my favorite place to shop for clothes and accessories on Burlingame Avenue. They always have a great selection of jewelry that is at a good price. The clothes are similar to what you would find at Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe but they are better quality. They also have a couple of tables that are filled with just random things that are meant to be fun gifts, which are always fun to look at. They have a cute selection of purses too. I love love this store! This boutique is quite new and has been around for a few months. It is simply located in downtown Burlingame which is close to Peets Coffee. What's also really great is they have a special sale section, which I absolutely love! I also signed up for weekly email specials which spotlight certain items for a special discount. Today I bought a strapless white dress that was one sale for $29.98 and a regular priced item which was a cute yellow cami for $28, not too bad. The material is also good and great quality! But I prefer boutique shops than commercial ones such as Forever 21 or Charlotte Rouse. Thank Francesca's Collection for being in the Peninsula! read more
