I went in to lululemon today after meeting my family for lunch. I recently got into lululemon since becoming a mom, I'm constantly on the go and chasing my little one. Alyssa was very kind, patient and informative as she explained all the leggings to me and what best fit my needs. My son was having a rough time since it was his nap time and I was mortified but Alyssa was so sweet. I thanked her several times for helping me. Best Workout Clothes Ever! THE NEED: *A sports bra to strap down my ti-tays....5 stars! This bra is the only bra I've ever owned that eliminates a jiggle...and, trust me, My tit-tays are not small! THe thick straps made it super comfy, sweat wicks away, and it doesn't rub against my armpit! Woo whoo!! *Tight workout pants that make my ass look as hard as I work in the gym for it!.....5 stars!! Now I'm a guy and I really appreciate good outdoor/athletic wear. I just recently splurged on some long shorts made of LUON fabric and I love the way they feel! I bought my fiance some items from here and I must admit, I love it when she wears the tight leggings and also her cargo pants. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The apparel does actually make you look better do to their gender designed clothing. They really make you look good! Sticker shock can be discouraging, but hey you'll definately appreciate how they look on you. For men: the boxer brief is like wearing ecstacy, you won't want to take them off. I decided to check out this Lululemon location last weekend because I was told by a worker at the new Lulu showroom store in Rancho Cucamonga (who used to work here) that the Glendale location just opened their second floor as the "mark down central". I was really excited to see what things they still had left so I trekked my way over there from Pomona area to check it out. I called the store first to get details on where they were located and how parking worked because I am not familiar with the Americana shopping center. I spoke with Ian over the phone who was extremely friendly and helpful and advised me about the parking structure on Brand that is free for the first 90 minutes and then $3 for the additional hour and so on. Unfortunately, they do not validate parking stubs. Lululemon is located next to Katsuya and as mentioned, there are two floors to this store. The first floor is where all the new items are and the entire second floor is where all the marked down items are organized by size and some other overflow items that are still original priced. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and I was able to find lots of stuff on mark down in my size! I was told that they will be receiving A LOT more marked down items since they have the room for it, so if there is a marked down item that you have been looking for that was sold out quickly..check out the Glendale location!! I should've considered my frontal cortex before I decided my impulsive shopping spree at Lululemon. The prices are here are horrendously, rip another hole expensive. It's hard for me to spend $100 on yoga pants. It just doesn't seem right! Although the prices may give you a stroke, the quality of the fabric is unbelievably perfect and the styles are cute as a button. Athletic fashion forward. The staff is knowledgeable and very sweet and attentive. Located in the Americana At Brand, parking in the structure is free for 2 hours. Best of all, free hemming with purchase. I purchased a pair of yoga pants from lululemon and I have to admit, I was extremely happy with my purchase, the product feels comfy and good on the skin not to mention the exceptional quality of the construction. Their employees are extremely nice, maybe it's the "zen" thing but they make you feel at ease and will help you find the stuff you need if unavailable. Lululemon, you're one of my pricier guilty pleasures! Why do you have to make such amazing shorts and tanks? I personally enjoy how awesome your Speed Shorts and Cool Racerbacks feel when I go on my long runs. My Groove Pants, which are pricy as heck, gets me some compliments once in a while (from my female friends). I've been shopping at this location for some time now and every single time, I've always been greeted warmly whenever I walk through the doors. Their dressing rooms are always clean (no clutter left from other customers) and they have a wide selection/colors to choose from. And since this is Glendale, a lot of their new stuff fly off the shelves quickly. They do not validate at their store, but you can go to the movie theater or B&N for a stamp. First hour is free so if you're just coming to Lulu and hung out for under an hour, no validation is needed. read more

I'm such a hater. I'm always making fun of the silly gymrats for showing up at kickboxing classes with makeup on and $90 lululemon pants that they're just going to get all sweaty and gross the second they start doing high knees. But that was before I tried on lululemon pants. And now I understand why people would pay the big bux for this stuff. Seriously...everything I tried on felt great, made me look good, and hid all the jiggly bits in clever ways. I ended up buying a lot of it, and, having worked out in it, everything stood up to the test of strenuous exercise in all conditions (indoor, outdoor, low impact, high impact). The best part was that this location has a sale room, where TONS of stuff in all sizes is discounted. Even if it's more expensive than the junk you get at target and then throw away 6 months later after it's unravelled, become holey, or smellls like permasweat, it's still LESS expensive than the stuff downstairs, and, for the most part, is exactly the same (maybe with different patterns, but really...who cares?). Okay. I'm not going to say wearing lululemon to workouts changed my life, but it does make me feel and look good, which I think helps keep me motivated to work out for longer and try a bit harder. I'm sorry I made fun of the wearers of lululemon. Because now I am one, and I totally get it. And whenever I can afford it, I will be back to buy more of these sweet sweet workout clothes (hopefully on sale). read more

It's so hard to find a place where the people actually want to help you find something that fits you it also looks good, I'm just so happy that this place is so near the house and I could pop in here once a month and find some things that I actually feel great and I feel comfortable in considering I'm almost 6 feet tall I like to be in something which is complementing to my body but also looks pretty thankfully the girls here are always more than helpful and show up with my suggestions and not something generic or pretend like they're busy like the Melrose location thanks for being awesome I'll see you guys soon read more

Lululemon has the best quality of yogawear that I have. People need to stop tripping about "customer service". Its activewear. You take off the tag. Its yours. Don't try to return it. Think of it this way. What if people did what you did? They wore it once, took off the tag and returned it. You just paid 150 for someone's used yoga leggings. (Essentially). They are kind enough to have a return with tags policy. Sports authority doesn't accept legging/sports bra returns period. Also, yes stuff is pricy, but thats like going into any designer boutique and complaining. If you can afford it, great. If not, there are other options. Just because you complain, it doesn't mean that corporate will change their prices. There will always be people who shop here, despite the prices. read more

I'm obsessed :( Sad face because I spend so much money here. At first, I couldn't understand why people would spend so much money on workout clothes, but after receiving my first piece of lulu, I've become addicted. I can't come in here without buying something and I look forward to checking out the new items on the website weekly. I LOVE lululemon. Who would have thought that workout clothes could be fashionable, comfy, functional and versatile. You can wear many of their pieces with regular everyday clothing, and they have a line of clothing that is anti-stink (silverscent) so you can go from a workout to a social event with no problem. If I could, l would live in lulu all day. They hem pants here for free. They have a whole second floor of sale items. Sale items are final sale, but some of their things on sale are a steal and not even listed on sale on the lulu website. They have a running club Wednesday evenings and yoga as well. Check out their store calendar on the lulu website. They also have flyers to various fitness studios and classes in the area. Service is always great here--they always greet you, help you to get to know about the different products and make recommendations. Only downside is that they don't validate, so you only have 60 min to get in and out of there if you don't want to pay $3 for parking. read more

Yes, I admit it. I'm a lulu addict. The way the clothes fit and the high quality of the workout gear are second to none. My friend and I have discussed this, and for some reason, wearing lululemon gear not only makes your tushy look better and more perky, it inspires you to work out harder to look as good as your workout clothes make you feel. Amazing. This location has a great selection, and some of the best sales I've seen. The staff here are always really friendly and open to answering questions. I also came here Saturday morning for the yoga class which was also great. It's usually done outside in the Americana, but when the weather isn't cooperative, it is held in the community room. The one I went to was hosted by a local Yoga studio, and really helped me kick start my weekend right. Plus, the class is free, which makes it 10x more awesome. I went here when I was in town last weekend because I heard they were having a grand opening and was hopeful that that somehow might involve a sale... I had no idea that this was part of a huge grand opening extravaganza for the Americana at Brand Center. Anyway, the new Lululemon is a really great, open space and a fun place to shop. No, alas, there was no sale. But I did use the occasion to finally buy those pants - the world famous wonder butt pants. Their official company name is Groove Pants, by the way, and they are every bit as awesome and wonderful as promised. And yes, to all of you who have yet to slip your buns into a pair, they do somehow manage to do exactly what everyone promises...they make you look and feel phenomenal. No, my tushie is not perfect, but thanks to regular attendance at Dailey Method classes, I'm well on my way. I've worn them practically every day for the past two weeks, which isn't exactly as creepy as it sounds. I am one satisfied lulu customer! And as for the Glendale store's community classes, they hold their free weekend yoga classes early in the morning in the back of the center on the lawn next to the lake. Nice touch. I am a big fan of this store, and lululemon in general. The staff are always very nice to me when I go in and even though I always head right to the sale rack...they don't treat me any different. I will say that I prefer this location over Pasadena. Every time I have been to the Pasadena location I have been ignored (not even greeted) and just end up walking out with nothing. However, every time I walk into the Glendale store, I am greeted, asked if I need help, chatted up about my most recent race....whatever... and I usually end up leaving with something (correlation????) And yes, the prices are high...but the sale rack helps! read more

I don't know how they do it, but they actually make you look better instead of worse like most other lycra/spandex numbers. The one thing I love about this location is the huge selection of markdowns! Take the stairs to the 2nd floor because thats where all the markdowns are. Everything is organized by size so its super easy to find. Sometimes you can find new items on markdowns if there are only one or two sizes left. read more

I love Lululemon!! Not only do they have really stylish yoga clothes, but their free workout classes are awesome! I've gone to many of the Sunday classes which feature guest instructors from local studios or gyms. The workouts vary--they have done everything from yoga to crossfit. For the yoga classes they let you borrow Lululemon mats, and they always serve snacks after each class. On nice days they do the workouts outside, so it's a great atmosphere being on the lawn at Americana with the fountains going on in the background. I have also done the run club on Tuesdays, which was also a lot of fun, but a much smaller group. As far as products go, everything is extremely high quality from the mats to the clothes. It's true that it is very pricey, but in this case, I really do think you get what you pay for, and the fact that they offer the free classes kind of balances it out in my opinion. Even when my friend lost his parking ticket they gave him info to help him get another one. I love their clothes here and mats! This was my first in-store lululemon experience, and boy did it get me hooked. I've since visited others (in my hometown in NY) and I'm baffled at how they can all be so beautiful, and all of the staff can be so helpful and friendly! Anyway, my sister and I went into this store with the mentality that "we will NOT spend $100+" on YOGA pants unless they are absolutely insanely fabulous. They must be the best pants we've ever tried on, and we promised to be honest with each other. Fast forward 5 minutes to the dressing room area. Both of us in separate rooms saying "uh oh." Fast forward another 5 minutes to the cash register, where the saleslady is taking my sister's information because she's getting her pants hemmed, for free. That's awesome, really. All locations (as far as I know) also offer free yoga classes on Sundays from local studios. Very cool. The only reason I deduct a star is because after being to the local store in my area, I realize how tiny this location is, and how much product it is lacking. Really not a great selection. But still, if you're just in need of the basics and helpful service and this is your local store, it will do just fine. :) read more

I love Lululemon wear. The staff at this location are very friendly and knowledgeable of their products. Have a sales person assist you to find the right fit & size for your body type. I purchased the Ta ta tamer & it is the best bra that keeps "the girls" in check without feeling sweaty & saturated after an intense workout. The anti-microbial material keeps unwanted bacteria at bay, keeps you cool and doesn't stretch out the shape of the tee. Quality yoga wear comes with a hefty price, but you will be grateful for spending the extra $cha-ching on these products as they will stand the test of time wash after wash. read more

I called this store 8 times in the past two weeks at different times of the day, including at 10:05am when I figured the store may be less crowded but NOT ONCE did they pick up. So as the phone message suggests, I left voice mail messages - 3 times. No way to get a hold of them so I then contacted the Education Center and they offered to send the message to the store manager and that I would be contacted within 24 hours - THAT never happened either. So I called the Education Center again . . . . . . one put me on hold for 7 minutes to "investigate" the matter. And throughout this entire process, including working with the Education Center, not one took the esponsibility of the situation as a representative of Lululemon and offered an apology for the lack of responsiveness from their team AND for my inconvenience for simply wanting to make a purchase. Now they finally wrote me an email (email address left with the Education Center) giving NO explanation as to why they never pick up their phone but only to say they accidentally deleted my voice mail and that is why they could not call me back . . . well unfortunately, I left them THREE voice mails so they deleted all 3???!!! read more

I shop here often. The bad thing is sometimes what you see in the store isn't online, or vice versa. It's a small store, and often they don't have your size so it's annoying if you cannot buy it online. Service is uneven. Sometimes I even walk in wearing Lululemon clothes, and the salesforce will act like I've never been and give me a whole spiel. Sometimes the salesperson who has rung you up umpteen times will still demand to see I.D. Sometimes, they stick too close to you which just exerts pressure and makes one uncomfortable. The stuff is expensive, so I prefer low pressure, mellow service and I comb the markdowns regularly even though the markdowns are not always great deals. read more

After an unfortunate visit to the Pasadena store I was reluctant to set foot in another lululemon. But I had bought a bra online and needed a size change. Well consider my opinion transformed by this location! Everyone was as pleasant and helpful as could be. No, not just pleasant but FRIENDLY. To me that's essential when giving a store my business. That's typically the only reason I'm showing up in person rather than making my purchase online - the service. This store is quite a bit bigger than the one in Old Town, too, so better selection including discounted items upstairs (bonus!). I will definitely be doing more shopping here. read more
