Summary: Do NOT shop at this place. They owe me $300+ and products. Read below for details. Update: it has now been 35 days since I have returned the item. I still have not received a refund or the other item I purchased. Instead, I received an email from the business owner indicating his displeasure with my review. I strongly advise against ordering from them online. I ordered two items and, aside from an automated confirmation email, heard nothing for over a week. After several attempts, I finally reached someone who informed me that one item had shipped (which it hadn't, as I discovered later) and the other was listed online by mistake. Despite the rough start, I tried to be understanding, knowing they are a small business. Unfortunately, I regret sticking with it. When I received one of the items, I needed to return it. I followed the website's return instructions but didn't hear back. After a week of calls and emails that were left unanswered, I got a response after filing a dispute with my credit card company. They asked me to cancel the dispute, return the item, and promised a refund. Trusting their word, and still wanting to support a small business, I canceled the dispute. It's been 49 days since my purchase, 17 days since the item was returned with over $100 in shipping fees, and numerous follow-ups later, I still haven't heard from them. read more

That being said, shopping for baby can be lots of fun and Lullaby Baby, the loveliest local baby store in Brooklyn, has it all! They carry gorgeous items for pregnancy through toddler stages. Yossi is easy going, knows his products forward and backward, and is not pushy with sales. He answered all my questions about strollers and I very happily walked out with an Uppababy Cruz. Happened to be in the area to surpirse a friend that just gave birth and wanted to get her a gift and this place was down the corner from her house. I'm so happy I found it-- SO SO CUTE!! Everything they have is amazing and adorable. I got the Knitted Crochet Baby shoes (size 6 months I believe) and they are ADORABLE! It's perfect for winter time and who wouldn't want knitted booties!! While looking around the store I looked at the prices and they do seem a little higher but then again I could be wrong so don't take my word for it (please research the pricing yourselves) But I really do like the store. They have cute stuff. I bought some disposible protective masks from them three months ago. I bought some more last week, and they came by Fedex Express in two days! Unbelievable service. The price can't be beat. The product is the same as other general disposible protective masks: blue three ply, one size, and single use ones. In comparison, I bought a set from Armbrust, which are made in Texas. They were defective. 20 out of 50 did not have metal nose pieces, and they charged me 7 times more than Lullaby Baby. The product was no different than the general masks from other places. They arrived in 11 days. I sent armbrust e-mails, but there was no reply. I got taken by Armbrust. So, Lullaby Baby is an excellent company, and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again without hesitation. read more

Brand new store with a lot of the most discussed baby items and a pretty good selection of strollers - I'm sure they'll do well in Park Slope since there are surprisingly few good baby stores around here. While there were only a few high chair and crib options, they were some of those I'd already admired in higher end boutiques like Giggle in Soho. You probably won't find anything unique, but you'll definitely find all of today's favourites. I found customer service very knowledgable but somewhat overwhelming. In the world of new babies, sometimes you just want a little private time to discuss things with your partner. Lullaby is a new store looking for sales, but they could work on the coziness of their atmosphere; making me feel like these very foreign things belong in my home would go a lot farther than telling me I have to have them. Had a wonderful experience here buying our Babyzen yoyo+ stroller. Yossi was a pleasure to work with. He was the only one working at the store at the time, so he was running around trying to help several customers. He apologized for the wait several times, but we were happy to wait as our little one was hungry at the time anyway. He happily allowed my wife to nurse our little one in the back of the store. When given the choice, I generally order from Amazon or diapers.com or some kind of big online place where you seem to get coupons every other weekend and prices cannot be beat. So I'm surprised that I'm about to go wax poetic about what a wonderful shop this is. I think the other review is right, there's nothing here that you won't find elsewhere, but I don't think that's what it is about... Pure and simple, it's about the extremely nice man who works behind the counter and (owns?) runs the place. Yossi (sp?) is a pleasure to work with. Just to give you an idea, the first time the Mrs went in there to buy a sun-shade, he simply pointed out (to her mild embarassment) that our current model had one built-in! That's the type of person he is. Genuine, honest, kind. He did not try to rush us the second time we went in when we looked for an umbrella stroller and never ever tried to give us a "hard sell." Needless to say, when we were ready, we bought from Yossi and have been incredibly happy with our purchase. Good place to get a gift. They have a lot of stuff especially their stroller section, and feeding section. They had some good toys-a lot of blocks, puzzles mostly. Most of their other sections are not that extensive. Prices are a little bit more than the big box stores which is expected. read more

Fine in person, but frustrating online. We ordered a stroller online that they didn't have in their store and 4 days later they couldn't tell me whether it had shipped yet when I called. They kept promising to call back with information, but never did in the promised time-frame, so I had to keep calling them back. When we got the stroller, we didn't like it. They have a 25% restocking fee not disclosed on website. The website only says that they give "full refunds" minus "fees and shipping." In other words, not a full refund. When I called to ask about returning the still unused stroller, they told me about the 25% fee and that 1) we should have seen it in person even though they did not carry it in their store; (2) they would not be able to sell it again because it was used, even though it was unused; (3) they would call me back given the first two. This is a wonderful store. The owner, Yassi, is incredibly helpful and will go to great lengths to make sure you get what you want. We bought a Dutalier Glider here and there was a UPS error that put our delivery window far after we expected our baby. Yassi worked the issue out with the manufacturer and then personally delivered to our apartment. You certainly will not find that level of personal attention and service in big box stores. Wow! First off, there are barely any baby stores in the area! Lullaby was a treasure to find! Basically, as the other reviews said, the owner Yossi is absolutely amazing. He is so helpful without being pushy. He won't let you leave without you knowing how to use your product-- and figuring out these strollers, car seats and carriers can be so tricky! He literally tried on and modeled how to put on various carriers for us. A couple was buying one at the moment and he made sure they knew what they were doing, helped them figure it out, practice until they were good to go! We haven't bought anything yet, (although he helped us practice folding and unfolding the UppaBaby!) but the information he gave us is extremely valuable and we will be back to make our purchases a bit closer to when the baby is born. So happy with this place!! He said the website is slowly gathering more stuff (they are relatively new store), but should be completely up and running, with its Registry, in about a month and a half. I called lullaby baby from Miami to order a double stroller for my twins as they always have the best recommendations and are so knowledgeable in all the latest products. Had the best experience here! I was in a bit of a pickle last week, having decided to sell my Bugaboo Bee5 at the last minute and in need of a new stroller within minutes after selling the old. Being on my own and having my 19 month old in tow, I ran over to Lullaby Baby hoping they would have what I needed, and of course they did! Not only that, but DL spent an hour with me going through all of the different color options, making sure I was happy and dealing with a very curious toddler! She was even able to assemble it for me, show me all of the features and make sure I was comfortable with it before I left the store! I met Yossi as well, and he even offered to deliver it to me personally right to my front door if I wasn't able to carry it home (since I had my daughter). Honestly, Park Slope has a wonderful community reputation but I was never expecting this! The level of customer service I received here was just beyond anything I've ever experienced.
