The store is ok, the products are great, the service, was awful, really rude and disrespectful,…read morewhich is a big shame that they treat you like that understanding that they have high prices, dont get me wrong, i understand that a good product will cost you and i happily will get it. My issue was with the person in the desk, i got a lunchbox and a bottle, beautiful and definitely love them, it was close to 100 dollars, again i love them and dont mind paying higher for a good product, so i ask to wrap it, as they normally do in these type of stores, and she got a scrap piece ( i dont mind that, but this one was all wrinkled, i thought like ok, children will not notice, in the middle of wrapping she was doing a really bad job and having difficulties to do it so i try to help her and she scream at me "i can do it, its all good" really frustrated for what i did, well im really frustrated for what she was doing and didnt scream at her at the end i let her finish but i was 2 secs away of requesting back my money, though i really like them, i did tell her its not a great job (i will add the pics took 5 mins later) and she made me a face of fu*k off. Im welcome to not comeback again, thats why next door store has more clients, i guess i should stick to my regular store, this happened may 11th around 5:15 pm, i hope it arrive to the right person to be able to train better your personnel

While my area of Park Slope is rich with such spots, I still sometimes find myself venturing a bit out of my way specifically to Exit 9. It's fun and quirky collection runs the gamut--both from fun/silly to thoughtful and lovely--and perhaps more importantly, for all ages and types. They have a particularly low key good selection of clever and thoughtful kids' gifts in addition to wonderful options for the mature (or immature) adult in your life. I particularly like their card selection. In addition, if you are reading this on here, know that they frequently offer a generous Yelp check in reward!

I needed some small trinkets for a friend's daughter and they delivered. I appreciate that it delves into different topics despite its small space such as food and related accessories, drink accessories (ex: corkscrews/drinking glasses), clothes and home design. Nine times out of ten I can get a gift for a friend from here that is unique. There are items there that are made by Brooklyn/nyc artists. But depending on when you visit, there are not too many things that are NYC/Brooklyn themed (there was an ash tray, a puzzle sets, magnets, & keychains when I visited off the top of my head). To my knowledge, there is not a website that shows all they have available without visiting but I would recommend looking at their Instagram to see what new things they have plus to see what events they are holding. It is relatively cramped even when you are one of two people perusing the store. Every time I visit, there are new items to look at. This of course means that some items you may have seen previously are gone. But they do have items that you are sure to see when you visit such as Breukelen Rub spices, Mike's hot honey and the street sign magnets that I love (I have multiple). If I am looking for a gift for a friend and I wanted a twist, I would come looking here. Is there a guarantee that I will find what I want? Not necessarily but I will have fun trying
