Don't try showing up around 7:30 expecting to have the place to yourself. It'll be packed with anybody in town who has a taste bud. There's not much in the way of amenities. It's basically a couple of outdoor tables and a pergola, but that's part of the charm. What they lack in fancy seating, they more than make up for with great food, big tacos, and good prices. Coming from San Antonio, I have pretty high expectations for breakfast tacos. This place passes the test.

The staff was super friendly and kind. I had the country fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and a roll, plus extra gravy for good measure. Everything came out hot and fresh, and that steak was huge. My daughter had the fried fish platter with potato salad, mac and cheese, and cornbread. The fish was perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. We left full and happy, and we'll definitely be back to try more of their home style cooking. This is not to throw shade on this business, but when you can taste a cleaning product in your food, this is not a good sign. Caution must be exercised when cleaning places where tortillas are stored, bags or supplies and containers that will be used for carry out food. Fabuloso and similar products like it contain very strong chemicals that will transfer over to anything that is permeable ruining your dining out experience. The beef empanada was not greasy and the empanada was full of meat, unlike other places where the empanadas are full of air, hardly any meat. The meat had great flavor. They had special sauces you could add, but the flavors were such that I didn't have to add anything to it.
