Food: never got it Service: Came in around 7:45 only 1 person was in there ahead of us and he already order and was just waiting on his food. The sign on the door said they closed at 8pm. When I tried placing my order the cashier said that he don't know if the cook still want to make anything and mind you the doors doesn't close until 8pm. I feel that was very unprofessional and I can understand if they ran out of certain items but that wasn't the case. So basically getting served is based off if the cook felt like taking one more order before 8pm. This was very unprofessional and not cutesy and not demure. First time ordering from Krab Kingz. Seafood seasoning (salt) is too heavy. The fish was fried a bit too long. Not burnt but the coloring gave the appearance of burnt. Sweet potato fries were good. The shrimp were likewise over salted. Otherwise it had a nice fresh flavor. Would like to try it again hopefully they'll ease up on the salt some it will be more enjoyable. read more

Fuel your crabiness with a snowcrab platter. After two years since learning about them, I finally tried it! I smelled their food from a couple blocks away :P and followed my senses. They're a food truck, so you won't get a bib or hot towels, but they do have a simple menu with a few nice varieties and savory flavors! The wait was about 10 minutes, but worth the anticipation. We got krab fingerzs tonight along with other food, spent almost $145!!! It was supposed to be a special dinner for my birthday, hubby brought it home and very disappointed food was over fried! Grouper taco plate shows 2 tacos and paid extra for pita chips, got one taco and pita chips over cooked. Order was suppose to be ready by 6:50 wasn't ready for another hour!! Found this gem and have been addicted. The portions are great for the price you pay. Our order has never been wrong. Always hot and fresh. Potatoes cooked perfectly, just melt in your mouth with a bite. I see some complaining about an absurd amount of butter, but we love it. Everything is always SO well seasoned. So much so, we don't even care it's not spicy. Just glad I have the option to order somewhere when I don't feel like making my own boil! The staff has been pleasant and the restaurant is clean. I ordered a fried fish & shrimp basket, while the shrimp was cooked & tasty the fish was a little bit undercooked. I told the waiter & he got me a replacement but the piece of fish they gave me was overcooked so much the breading went from a golden brown to a burnt brown. My sister got a seafood boil & 1 shrimp was stilll raw. Thick pieces of fish filets are difficult to fry so I understand which is why I'll be back to try them again because the vibes were good, the atmosphere was excellent & the staff was friendly & amazing so I will definitely be going back to try them out again! read more

My boss took me here to eat Friday evening. There were no customers in the place. That was the first tip off. The guy behind the counter didn't seem like he wanted to be there or we were bothering him. Not friendly at all. I would expect a little high price for seafood but they were HIGH price. The fountain soda machine was broke so you had to buy bottles. Our food took longer than it should have to get to the table. Part of the crab legs were cold and the shrimp tasted fishy. We had to go ask for a claw cracker and the plastic forks weren't much help.you don't get a plate , you put paper towels down on the table and take your food out of the bucket they bring you. If this place doesn't become more friendly and welcoming I don't see people paying their prices and you know what happens next unfortunately. I had a bad feeling they didn't want us there or its just normal for them. It takes more of an effort in customer service to keep the doors open than is being put forward. read more

OK, we visited the Thornton location last October. At the time, I gave a rave review even though the location was fairly new, we'd read great reviews based on their food truck. Well, maybe it was better then, or maybe those new rave reviews caught something I missed because I decided to go back and I was extremely disappointed. Is there a reason both times the place was empty except for me??? We eat out a lot, we don't care about the price if the food is amazing...well it wasn't amazing. Why do they think they can charge like $18+ for one meal, that consisted of a pile of skinny oily fries, 10...yes just 10 TINY fried shrimp, half a corn on the cob that was so spicey hot it burned my mouth, and 2 little hush puppies? REALLY? I have eaten frozen fish dinners better than this! It was over $40 for our 2 orders...I nearly passed out. Any meal that totals over $46 better earn that price...this failed miserably.
