Committed to try local fare when I travel for work and this read like it might be worth a try…read more I'll start with I ordered more food than I should eat. I planned to take some back to the hotel for later. The Fish and Shrimp Soup arrived piping hot and garnished with lime, cilantro, rice, chiles, and onions to just enhance the experience. Adding a robust squeeze of the lime made the aroma pop and it woke up the senses! Floated the chiles and added a couple spoons of the cilantro to steep. It was everything that I hoped for. The fish and shrimp (plenty) shared the headliner perfectly. The fish, was crisp yet flaky and stood up to the bath in the broth. In a supporting role, let's talk about the hearty vegetables including cabbage, celery, potatoes, carrots and tomatoes. Every bite was a different blend of flavors and textures all complimenting a broth that had obviously been on the stove for quite some time. There would be nothing left when I was finished. I also ordered one of my personal favorites when it's Mexican food on the menu; Chiles Rellenos. These too were served piping hot. Served with a stack of tortillas, a side of beans and rice. The presentation was not noteworthy but the taste was soon to separate this dish from other pedestrian Chiles!! The ground beef filling was well seasoned and not greasy like others that I have had. The batter lost a little to the cheese and the green salsa (added), but was a complete flavor when cut into each full bodied bite. The sides, some tortillas and some chips (along with some more green salsa) made the cut to ride with me back to the hotel. Chased down with a Modelo Negra it was a fantastic experience. The service and ambiance was everything that others have highlighted so I won't give it much air here. You will/should come for the food. You will be glad you did because of the service and the vibe! I will be back when my work brings me to Killeen.

This burrito has amazing flavor. it comes with their consume sauce, spicy, avocado, and red salsa on the side, grilled onions, cooked to perfection and melt tea cheese within. This is a perfect meal for anytime of the day. Service is amazing. The burrito itself took about 10 minutes, which is well worth the wait. They have a couple picnic tables for seating outside their food truck with lighting. Located conveniently near BSW area. I highly recommend this food truck and will definitely be back!!

They were very greasy, so it's definitely not something I would get often. The sauces were all very spicy to me. They have a picnic table outside next to the truck, and there is no shade covering. One thing they should really change though is that they don't show prices. I asked how much it was, and they said $13. It ended up being $14.34 after a card fee and tax, which is a reasonable price, but it's really bizarre and inconvenient that they don't show prices. I always wonder if they do that so they can charge whatever price they want based on the customer.

The quesadilla was covered with chopped onion and cilantro and it came with a small container of consume and a grilled Jalapeno which was nice. I also ordered the empanada (trio) which I was surprised to see how large the empanada was ! The empanada has decent flavor it was a mix of shredded meats which was alright wasn't my favorite out of the items but was still good. I like the Shrimp Quesadilla a lot tho I would try this place again and sample more items on the menu ! The loaded charro beans were delicious !

BEST AND THROUGH, HONEST REVIEW WE ALL WANT:…read more I love this place! It reminds me of a place called MUCHAS GRACIAS back at home in Oregon. Just like all ALL restaurants, some items are better than others and you just gotta find your favorite thing there. I always order the Bean and Cheese Burrito (but trust me when I say that before every bite, to put sour cream on it and a few drops of their red or green sauce and it slaps!) I won't eat it any other way. Sometimes I add rice. They're ribs is so good! The Carne Asada Tacos and Burritos are delicious and big! Everyone in my home loves those and their prices are unheard of! Less than $3 each and they are stuffed!! I could only eat two and I'm a pretty big eater. My husband is stuffed with 3 of them. It's even almost hard to finish their burritos! My husband says the Fish Tacos are the best he's ever had in Texas! 2nd best for his whole life. We tried the cheese enchiladas and just like everywhere else they are just ok. Good for kids. My teenager loves the Quesadilla, Rice and the Rolled Tacos. She doesn't recommend their Tortas. She said those are better elsewhere. We all also enjoy the Chimichanga. They're breakfast burrito is just yum! Oh and the Carne Asada Fries are out of this world! The Chili Rellenos is good(ish) But they put their pico on it. There's not the traditional red sauce. It was off-putting but I still enjoyed it well enough. They are still good. I probably won't order that item again but it's only because I'm particular on those. The Super Nachos are pretty tasty too. We've tried pretty much everything on the menu. Everything is fresh and hot and the prices are phenomenal! We eat here 2 to 3 times a week. Please take with a grain of salt the nay sayers. People who say the salsa is runny... It's because it's their taco sauce lol. It's supposed to be. And their salsa is not restaurant style. It's a fresh pico de gallo. So just a heads up. But everything is still delicious. As far as the service animal review, that's just an uneducated person. Consider the source of where we live would you? The owner of this restaurant does not deserve a one-star review because he had an under-educated employee. I have never worked anywhere that has educated me on service animals. You should never be above educating somebody who doesn't know. Because you didn't know until somebody told you your first time. So go enjoy. Because it's very tasty and the best deals in town. I have eaten there well over 100 times and never had a single issue.

Qué bueno ver que un negocio finalmente ha echado raíces en esta esquina. Comí los tacos esta mañana: de huevo con chorizo, de machaca con huevo y de chicharrón con frijoles.
