Grossest food I've ever eaten. I do not recommend this place. The pop was warm. The mayo was spoiled.

The man running the store was very personable and friendly but left me alone to eat. He saw my poll worker name tag and offered me a free drink. Asked how it was after I had finished. The restaurant is small but clean and inviting. But seriously...that burger!!!

It was a good bit north of "well done." I asked for no pickle and got pickle. I really don't like the taste of pickle, but was not going to ask for a new burger just because it has some pickle juice on it. The bun was nicely grilled. I was not sure whether to get sweet potatoes fries or regular fries and the cashier offered a mix. I liked that and both types of fries were very good -- served hot and seemed like they were cooked in fresh and clean oil. The regular fries had just a touch of breading or batter, I think. The fries were the best part of my meal. No fountain soft drinks and just a soda in a can for $2. That's definitely a point against them. The store was extremely clean and it looks like they had good desserts. They have egg for their burgers which is a plus for me. They bill themselves as halal-friendly, that's good. Lots of vegetarian choices on the menu.

The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. My husband, a man of few words when it comes to food compliments, was also thoroughly impressed with his meal. If you're on the fence, consider this your sign. We'll be back. Probably soon.

Definitely make a reservation because it gets busy. The atmosphere: The restaurant is cute and inviting, with both table and bar seating. The food: We started with a side of the ube waffle for the table, and it was fluffy and delicious. I ordered the Pork Tocino Silog, which came with arroz caldo, salad, rice, and an egg. The pork was tender and coated in a sweet, flavorful marinade that tasted nostalgic in the best way. The vinaigrette added a nice tang, and the salad balanced the plate with a refreshing, palate-cleansing bite. The standout for me was the arroz caldo. I cannot rave about it enough! It reminded me of Vietnamese porridge, but thicker and a little chewier. It was warm, comforting, and the perfect start to the meal. The service: Great throughout, and the staff was attentive and friendly.
