Tuna Tartare

Came here the day after the blizzard and had a great time with the staff! Ordered 6 oysters, kale caesar salad, tuna tartare, and rigatoni alla vodka. Everything was amazing and came out fast. Joe was a very welcoming and friendly host and Kris was very attentive behind the bar. I would definitely come back!

Lobster Fettuccine

Cute interior and friendly service. Food was much better than anticipated. Menu is varied so will def be coming back to try more items. Tried the eggplant rollatini which was good but a bit too much cheese. Lobster fettuccine and gnocchi sorrento were cooked perfectly. Gnocchi wasn't too mushy and sauce was great. Tiramisu for dessert was yum.

Raw oysters, tuna tartare, fig bruschetta, Aperol Spritz, and Sangiovese

Happy Hour FTW! We stopped by to have an after-work drink, and we loved it! We sidled up to the bar ordered a half dozen raw oysters, the tuna tartare, and the fig bruschetta. Everything was delicious! And the drink deals were amazing. Having a Sangiovese at happy hour prices was mind blowing- you never see that on a happy hour menu! O The staff were attentive and were quick with both our drinks and food. Look-wise, Lugano has a definite New York feel. Clean and well-lit with an old school vibe. Super happy with Lugano, and we will certainly be back!

Brussel Sprout Salad

My delicious Brussel Sprout Salad has me in the Holiday spirit looking like a Christmas tree. Every time we come the food is excellent. Recommend the butternut squash gnocchi, meatball sampler, spinach salad, Brussels salad, penna alla vodka. Never had a bad dish here. The only thing better than the food is the service!

This review will be a bit shorter than usual. I went here with a group of people (two of whom were regulars) and didn't take out my phone for any photos of the food, nor did I write down what we ordered. What I can say is the tapas are fantastic! My main dish, Pappardelle Scarpariello, was decent. It didn't blow me away but the serving was large so I saved half of it for lunch the next day. The venue was quite loud for dinner and we had to talk even louder to hear each other. Despite drinking a ton of water throughout the night (which the wait staff kept filled along with placing pitchers on the table) I still left with a raw throat. I would love to come back and try some of the salami... but maybe during lunch time.

Tiramisu

We attended a rehearsal party at Lugano's and were impressed by the service, ambiance, and menu offerings. The staff did a wonderful job catering to our party of 40. The brussel sprouts appetizer was delicious, however we were disappointed by the quaint and cold eggplant rollatini appetizer. The penne alla vodka was top notch, creamy and topped with basil. The chicken scarpiello and steak entrees were wonderfully prepared. The tiramisu was perfectly fluffy and flavorful. We hope to return to Luganos again for date night or dinner with friends.

Loved the ambiance and the meatballs. Sadly, the Caesar salad was watery, flavorless, and entirely unimpressive.

Disappointed. Heard great things about this local place. Food was decent but extremely loud and service slow. Might try on a weeknight

The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. Our waiter was attentive and would check-in on us from time to time, ensuring our experience was the best. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. We also received a complimentary drink of choice on the house just because! I will definitely be coming back again and hope to bring other colleagues along for the Quartiere experience.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

One thing that really stood out from my first visit was how welcoming the chef and owner is. He took a moment to talk to us, and told me he named the restaurant after his daughter, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell he cares about the food and the people who come in. The entire staff has been just as friendly and attentive every time. The food has been consistently excellent. I tried everything on the aperitivo menu once and was surprised by how many options there are and how fairly everything is priced. It is a smart way to sample different dishes before a full dinner. The bikini sandwiches with the truffle flavor were amazing, and the bolognese has become the dish I look forward to the most. Every plate feels thoughtful and comforting. Talia has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. Great food, good people, and a warm atmosphere. I'm excited to keep visiting and to see it grow. I love supporting good people. I cannot stress enough how friendly and welcoming the owner/chef and staff are. You won't be disappointed with the food! TLDR: Prefer Talia over Felice any day too. Felice is so pretentious and unwelcoming and the food is mid IMO

They are a newer restaurant, so I'm hoping it's just growing pains. Will definitely be going back in a few months.
