Ludwig's is the best spot in town for bar food or beers, hands down. Thanks for the reliable, superb quality food and service Pat!

My waitress (Renee) immediately greeted me, she was friendly & professional and offered to take my drink order, since I was ready, she took my order, fish & chips which comes with a cup of coleslaw. The food arrived fairly quickly and I was impressed at the size of the meal. A large fillet perfectly fried and crispy. The fries were ok, but they do offer malt vinegar on the side and a the tartar sauce was good. The place definitely has that old English pub feel and appeared to be clean and orderly. I would definitely dine here again, when flying in or out of Cleveland Hopkins.

She was loud, arrogant and inconsiderate. The other customers heard her and couldn't believe her attitude. The other patrons gasped with surprise. Skip this place, hidden charges due to having to order via QR code and heaven forbid you inquire about missing food items in your order. There are plenty of other restaurants in this airport so pick a different place than The Pub.

I want them to be crispy on the outside with a mouthful of chicken in each bite and they were just that. The lemon pepper sauce was very salty, but I love salt and vinegar chips so I was prepared. This is your typical Irish bar - long bar with 8-10 rectangle tables. We sat at the bar and our bartender/server was very friendly and helpful.

You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

Erin was our server and she was amazing, from beginning to end! We would come back just for her, but I know she works limited hours because she's busy being an epic artist! She let my dad tell her dad jokes and when he wanted to meet Leo (because he looks like Fish from Shoresy and my mom thought he was hot) they obliged which was truly going above and beyond (even if it made me and my sister a little awkward). The boudin balls were great! Very similar to New Orlean's verisons so that was great! We also tried the hot rocks which were also great! Our table tried both gumbos, the jambalaya and the crab cakes. All of which were delicious and the closest you'll find to NOLA style around here! For dessert my mom scored the last creme brulee which made her day and the rest of us had beignets. Their beignets are definitely not Cafe Beignet or Loretta's level, but they are still absolutely delicious as their own dessert, like a mix between a funnel cake and a beignet! Drinks were also amazing! It's one of like 3 places you can get a Pimms cup in Cleveland! They had a lot of other cool options and Sunday looks like it's usually an all day happy hour so we have to go back! And finally, I just have to note how beautiful the place is. Decor everywhere you look, my little sister couldn't stop taking pictures! It was such a lovely experience! I can't say enough great things!

The decor looks like a New Orleans restaurant and there is even a second level for seating. The food is delicious. They have great Happy Hour Specials with portions and prices small enough to sample food items. They also have a pick 3 on the menu that lets you pick different menu items. Our favorites are of course the Chicken Gumbo and Jambalaya but tried to duck wings that were crispy and perfectly cooked. We also tried to fried okra that was awesome. The craft beer and cocktail menu is extensive and we upgraded to the large hurricane, which was fruity and refreshing. Service was Excellent. Highly recommend!

We shared the loco moski, paprikash sandwich, and a side of bacon wrapped tots (good option if you just want 2 and not the full appetizer). While the bacon wrapped tots are famous from Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, I actually liked the loco moski and paprikash sandwich more. The loco moski is a fun combination between a loco moco but with pierogi, and I like that the peppered gravy wasn't too rich. The paprikash sandwich was also a great combo of chicken, sausage, peppers, cheese, paprikash, on lightly crispy bread. Parking available as free street parking--though you may have to circle to find parking since it's near the Christmas House. Staff were nice and efficient. The place does feel a little tight in terms of space with less lighting, but there's still plenty of seating and what matters to me more is good food. Overall, great place to try local food. Would get the loco moski and paprikash sandwich again.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.
