I love having the option of grabbing a Lucky's burger to go a bit closer to my house then the one on main street. I love having the variety the roadside offers - pizza, hoagies, burgers. Bangin' drinks selection*, not the most comfortable seating (but I have pain issues, so...), veggie dogs and burgers available, turns out, "natural casing" hotdogs aren't gross, tots were too salty, great music, attractive little place with friendly service. Outdoor seating as well as indoor picnic tables for larger parties. We lucked out, but parking is definitely an issue. When everything is open, you have your choice of burgers and dogs, sandwiches, and pizza. We didn't try Eda's pizza, but it looked good. There's also a nifty selection of candy, much of it in fun containers (e.g. jelly beans in tiny soda bottles.) Ordered lunch from here and was immediately welcomed with food poisoning, no doubt brought on by some of the worst burgers we have ever had.

Friendly service. The food was ok but burgers could have used more sauce. I didn't care for the Mac and cheese much but my kid liked it.

I've been meaning to write this review for The Roadside for a long time. If you're familiar with Lucky's on Main Street, all the great burgers you get there are on the menu here too, and then some. Start with the pizza. It's massive, the kind of pie that could feed a small group on its own, and somehow the quality never drops. It's consistently crispy, cheesy, and just flat-out good. My personal favorite, though, is the chicken cheesesteak. That thing hits every single time. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and honestly one of the best around. And the service here deserves a shoutout. Everyone is laid back, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I've never had a bad experience, and on the rare occasion something small wasn't right, the team fixed it without hesitation. If you haven't stopped by yet, you're missing out. So here's the deal. Their burgers are great. Very interesting. Lots of choices (10 I think?). I was forced to get the peanut butter burger to get a burger without onions!!! I freaking HATE onions. If I order in a restaurant, I can get the onions off fast, before they ruin my meal. You don't understand just how much I hate them. Lucky's has no mechanism on online ordering to make any changes. All they need to do is have a check mark for "onions/no onions". The burgers are $15-20 and all I want to do is not have onion smell/taste poison my bun. I am really happy that Lucky's has this option available to the loyal customer base and I am sure they are making new fans and customers along the way with this location! Sometimes you just want take-out from your local favorite hamburger place! When I come to the Roadside Stand...I save at least $20 because whenever I go the the Main St location I will order a few drafts while waiting for my takeout! So glad to have a Lucky's delivery option! I just moved back to the area and Lucky's has always been my favorite neighborhood bar with amazing eats. I had been working through unpacking a sea of boxes in my house and plus was having car trouble, so being able to get Lucky's delivered was key! Since my kitchen wasn't in a state of being able to cook yet, I got quite a few items to last me a few days as I continued to unpack. My feast consisted of the Coney and Sgt Pepper hot dogs, PB Bacon burger, Main Street tots, and Roadside fries. One of my first loves of Lucky's from years past is the amazing PB Bacon burger which absolutely did not disappoint - I will never get tired of this burger and it sure did shine with delivery! The tots were deliciously nice and crispy as usual, but unfortunately they messed up my fries order - it wasn't Roadside at all - I think they maybe made them Main Street as well which was kind of a bummer because I wanted all the good stuff on them. But I know this location is new and I heart Lucky's so much, hopefully it was just a one off. I didn't have the hot dogs until the following days and they were still just as delicious being leftovers heated up. Lucky's Roadside is definitely an awesome option for those that love indulging on Lucky's but aren't able to go in person or pick up. I hope to be going back to the OG location in person soon now that I have my house more unpacked, but will def keep this as an option for future laziness. read more

Don't order. The rolls are trash. I posted about this before and tried to give them a second chance.

THE WORST!!! The lack of accountability is absurd. They messed up our order and it was going to take double the time it was originally going to take. Instead of coming and telling us it would take double the time when they realized they messed up, they decided to just not tell us and when we asked about it they only decided to communicate their mistake then. Got a habernero burger sub impossible patty They now charge $4 to swap out a meat patty for an impossible patty. Tonight they miraculously managed to cut the impossible patty down to a third of the normal size (I've had impossible burgers a million times & 2 times before at this location iykyk impossibles are thick boys). I requested extra tomato, lettuce and jalapeño. I only received half a piece of lettuce and only one tomato which was really thin but also thicker than the burger lol. I got half the amount of the jalepeno I should've gotten had I not asked for extra. One slice of cheese. And of yeah some of these extras were paid for. Went to call them to ask if the patty was even an impossible but also they dont answer their phone so now I gotta write this review just to feel a little heard. So I love the location in SOUTH Philly but this one here in Wiss is so bad it blows my mind. They really rush and skimp and it's NEVER hot. I've waited in there for food for my bf & I ...one thing will be ready 15 mins before the other and then they'll scoop in cold fries. They are overpriced and not that nice. We keep overtipping in cash in hopes it will make someone there actually smile. Like they're Not at all mean, just not nice either if that makes any sense. I ordered through DD. The burger was huge, I ate half n gave my husband the rest. I wasn't happy with the fries that was supposed to have extra bacon. Missed biscuit lady but got to try Lucky's. Was very happy with my pb and j burger. My friends all know I love my pb, but their jelly sends it over the top. Burger is just how I like it - thin and easy to eat. I got the junior size and it was perfect for a mid-bike ride fuel recharge! The house made jam is to die for. Would recommend! read more

Do not eat here, you will get sick. My husband ordered a regular cheeseburger for delivery. He had violent food poisoning overnight and into the morning, for more than 12 hours after consuming the burger. We've filed a food safety complaint through the app he ordered from. I called Luckys directly today but was put on hold for over 10 minutes before hanging up. read more

The food is not bad. But it takes soooo long. It took about 10 mins for someone to come out to take the order and then what felt like another 30 to get the food. When I finally got the food the burgers were room temp. Idk if they are severely understaffed or if the processes are just bad but if you go call ahead then wait before you go. read more

Lucky's Roadside Stand recently opened up and I was excited to try it because I'm a fan of their other location. I ordered a Classic cheeseburger with habanero mayo and the Main St fries which has old bay seasoning and cheese. The burger was delicious! I could tell it was made fresh and the portion was perfectly sized. I'm rating this 4 stars because they gave me the Classic fries instead of the Main St fries. For a new business, I was a little disappointed that they messed up my order. I didn't realize that they gave me the wrong fries until I got home (I did a pickup order). The Classic fries wasn't anything special. Overall, I really enjoyed the burger and will be going back. Hopefully, they won't mess up my order next time! read more

Was pleasantly surprised to see a delivery option for Lucky's finally! I've been going to Lucky's Last Chance for years and our delivery meal was just as good as the OG location!
