a breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast
    Amaury J.

Excellent service and unbeatable prices, but there's room for improvement when it comes to the quality of the food. I was looking for a quick, cheap diner breakfast and stumbled upon Lucky Loggers. Located at the Saco Shopping Plaza, this no-frills restaurant has an extensive menu and prices that you're not likely to find elsewhere around this area. I ordered the Lumberjack Breakfast for $12 -- it came with three eggs, plenty of toast, hash-browns, bacon, two sausages, and a small juice and coffee. Seriously, you just can't beat that. Unfortunately, the hash browns tasted quite old. I had to add a lot of ketchup, salt, and pepper to make them edible. I ordered my eggs sunny side up, and two arrived already popped. The bacon was also overcooked. The service was great -- the waitress was attentive and friendly. For $12, I guess you can't ask for more. If you're looking for a quick, cheap meal without caring much about quality, then this is a good place to stop at.

Omelette with shredded cheese on top of the omelette

Service was fine, but I went for breakfast and got a veggie omelette and I asked to add cheese to it. There was unmelted shredded cheese all over the top of the omelette. Also the onions in the omelette were raw. Has brown potatoes were good.

Basic American cuisine with no frills. Typical selection of food cooked well with good portions and reasonable prices. Somewhat historic location was once an open field where wood was dried after floating down the river. Hence the name, mural and logging tools on display

Comfy country atmosphere with friendly staff. Everyone liked what they got. Great flavors across the board. If you haven't been there, give it a shot

Super nice staff, got the strawberry pancakes which were a decent size, but were only 7.50 as of the time writing this. Probably will get two orders next time, highly recommend going to this place for breakfast, all the food is good and well priced.

Not a bad restaurant for a quick bite to eat. Not the highest quality food, but the cheap prices make up for that.

It's really a combination of everything about this spot that brings us back. The only thing even close to a negative I could come up with would be the fact it's not located closer to us, but it would become dangerous and a must visit every weekend if it were closer. You will step in the door and it's a warm and welcoming space with a selection of tables, window seats and communal style table as well. Also during warmer times they have a back patio as well. The staff and owner Tyler have always been nice greeting you right away and going the extra mile for customer service! Besides the vibes the drinks and food are always top notch as well. From the chai lattes, espresso martinis, huge list of flavored lattes you really can't go wrong! Food wise since the beginning the sandwiches were my all time favorite breakfast sandwich and they continue to be! Besides their usual menu offerings they are constantly working on specials to keep you coming back for something different. For example the visit today my wife loved her Catface Florentine that came on an English muffin with swiss, bacon, sausage, spinach, with a lemon-dill aioli. If you find yourself in the area or even semi-close add this spot to your list of places to check out! Incredible food and drinks with friendly and fast service with phenomenal vibes overall!

The real spotlight should be on the quality of the food. We ordered three completely different items, each was excellent and made with high-quality ingredients. A great example, my daughter ordered a traditional breakfast plate. The pancakes were light as a feather, perfectly cooked with a hint of lemon in the mix. And, the syrup, pure maple syrup, is superb. There is a wait, but they take your phone number and will text you when your seats are ready. Waiting gave us time to visit some of the unique stores in town, only minutes away on foot. Bring cash; they don't do credit cards. But they do have an ATM outside. Grab a seat at the counter, and you will promise yourself that you will return.

I cannot even remember what I got but I remember thinking it was a waste of $. As for the ambiance-it's a fiber with a counter & stools (no tables), it was uncomfortable & freezing inside. Decided to give them a try for lunch, I have read so much about how amazing their fried chicken sandwich is, so I entered that online and see the sandwich is $22...to get fries with that it is another $8.50...ok, I think it's my birthday & my husband and I can split it all so that's only about $15 a piece. Go to put order in and there is an AUTOMATIC 22% gratuity added that cannot be changed or removed. Let me get this straight-ya'll are charging $30.50 for a chicken sandwich and fries (nothing special-no antibiotic free range chicken, probably saline packed chicken from China ‍) AND you think it's ok to tack on 22% tip for LUNCH TAKE OUT???? Sooooo that's $40.56 for a chicken sandwich and fries, tax + tip. ‍ Yeah, no. I would not eat here if they were the last restaurant on earth. I love supporting local, but how greedy can you be?

I am sad that it took me this long to find a quality, delicious croissant in Southern Maine. This is not your average bakery. This is the kind of spot where you take one bite and immediately go quiet because your brain is trying to process how something can taste that good. Each piece is a little work of art! They had these tiny chocolate creme tarts/pie with mango coulis and wow. An absolute dream. Everything we tried was next-level--light, flavorful, not overly sweet, and clearly made with serious skill. The pastries have that authentic European feel where quality and technique come first, not just sugar overload. I am proud to say that I indulged in their croissants and chocolate creme TWICE this weekend. Totally worth it. Biddeford is lucky to have this place. Go visit, your mouth will thank me.
