Driving South on the Maine Turnpike on a beautiful Saturday when I came up with the great idea of turning off in Biddeford for a trip to Peng's Pizza! Boy, what a great idea that was! We were able to park right out front of the store front. Before we got off of the Pike, we ordered 2 pizzas.....one cheese and one veggie. When my wife was finished ordering and before she was told how long it would be before pick-up, the clerk told her the total price ($53.22). When I heard the price, I almost went off the road but I would find out later that it was well worth every cent! I went in to watch the process, which I love to do. It was a pretty busy Sat evening, for sure. Only one size of pizza....all large. Pizza orders of 8, 4 and 5 were pumping out the kitchen! Three workers and one register clerk made up the staff. There are 4 small tables and chairs if you want to eat-in, as well. When our order finally came out, I was a bit hesitant. I am a fan of lightly cooked and no bubbles. The pizza, when it was being cut, looked charred up a bit and had a bubble or two. As I walked to the car, I was not very confident that things would turn out the way they did. When we each started to eat the pizza, we were both thrilled with everything.....crust, cheese, overall taste and cook-style! The veggie was "delicious" and the cheese pizza was in the Louie's class (Woburn, MA). Boy, were we happy! The price was a little high but very well worth it. You get what you pay for! Soda: no Pepsi/no Coke (see pic) Parking: on Main Street...seemed easy Price: a little high...but worth it Ambience: nice little spot Will I be back?: When in Biddeford....sure Stars: 5 (I took a bunch of pictures...but it is a long story) read more

Peng’s Pizza Pies - Cheese Pizza- right up there with New Haven Institutions, Regina's, Louie's, Armando's and Pinnochio's! - Pizza Near Me - Biddeford, Maine

Ordered two pies, one regular cheese one mushrooms and olives. Both came out crispy and charred just like a New Haven pizza with a thin NY dough. Combining the two pizza cities in one pizza. Seating is limited but the service and courteous staff make it feel like a much bigger place. It appears that take out is very popular due to the limited seating and may be the reason they are often sold out. It's worth the trip if you're in the area. Will be back for sure. read more

Unbelievable pizza but their miso and brown butter chocolate chip cookies are something I will think about the rest of my life

Pizza is awesome. Great crust with some crunch and leoparding. Sauce is also very good and a classic thin slice pie. If you want a solid slice I would highly recommend it here. Hours and ordering can be a bit weird and busy and the prices is also very high. Overall was satisfied though read more

PENG'S FOR PRESIDENT! Unbelievable Apizza in the heart of Biddeford. Place a takeout order or get lucky with only a few in-house seats. No surprise the lobby was full so we grabbed a drink next-door while we waited for our pickup time; only ~30 minutes on a busy Saturday night. The food was ready when they said it would be and greatly exceeded expectations. We got the Pep add hot honey and pickled japs, the pistachio pie, a caesar salad for the vibes and THE LAST TWO COOKIES. Everything banged outrageously. The pies were cooked to well-done perfection *chef's kiss*, the salad was fresh and flavorful and the cookies among some of the best I've ever had (no wonder they sell out). I still have slices on standby and I'm already plotting my return to try the tomato and lemon pies. Pizza Well Done! read more

Drove down from Freeport on a Wednesday evening excited to try this new pizza shop in downtown Biddeford (on the Main street). Was able to find street parking. Open Wed- Sunday 4pm- 8pm. Super thin pizza, yummy crust. They offer a Basque cheesecake as dessert. A cheesecake from a region in Spain where its cooked at high temps and has no crust but super creamy. Was told it almost has a toffee flavor. read more

The pizza is not my favorite, i know it's supposed to be well done but it mostly taste burnt, but a lot of people enjoy it. The thing that's frustrating it the hours and then posting on social media an hour or so after they open saying "sold out" already. This business has been around for a few yet it seems like they make a handful of doughs and then close. Why have hours then because when you try to show up if you don't check social media or their online ordering you will be out of luck. Why not make more pizza dough if you know you are busy and people enjoy it? Also tried to order online and got charged, showed up and they said they never got my order and I would need to figure out the charges with my bank. Connect with the bank and they tell me the restaurant refunded me already and it's processing. So it seems like once again they ran out of dough even though I ordered online ahead of time when it opened. Just unfortunate experiences I have had all around. read more

It was the first time we got a pizza at pangs. It was absolutely delicious. We got the sausage and pepperdu peppers . We loved the thin crust and the crunch of the outer crust. The pizza was great the day after too and we just heated it our toaster oven. Again reheating it made the crust crispy not chewy and the sause and meat just right. The price was right and the service was excellent and fairly quick. The cookie that we got was excellent to. Definitely going there the next time were in Biddiford. Itsa nice maine town to visit we were told the dough is made for that day so once they go through it it's gone . Always fresh. read more

Pizza is pretty good new haven style charred, thin crust. If you think char=burnt you won't like it. Pizza's good, service is friendly though a little slow. Kind of a bummer that there is so little seating in the place but i imagine if youre local you order pickup. read more

We've been hearing good things about Peng's Pizza for a while. The name is taken from the owner's nickname which makes the place more special. The decor is fairly sparse, but there are a few cute details and it's very clean. You can watch the staff busily work on your pizzas. They're also super friendly. The pizzas go fast on a weekend night, so if you want some you need to order early. We ordered pepperoni pizzas and a Caesar Salad. The pizzas were perfectly cooked and hot out of the oven. The salad was crisp and not too dressed. Just the right counterpoint to the pizzas. I wish we would have ordered here sooner! read more

Food was good... service outstanding. I enjoyed the pizza and I loved the salad. We picked the food up and I had to wait a little bit which gave me time to read about the owners journey. I love that, it makes me feel like they are making food with love and passion. read more

By far the best pizza in the state. Until someone opens a true New Haven Apizza joint Peng's will be #1. Order ahead, be patient as it is made fresh to order and they can get busy in their small space. But, the snafus with those limits are completely forgotten when you take a bite. read more

Absurdly good pizza. I chose from the white pizza side of the short menu the Lemon Onion pie with the recommended added anchovies. $22 for this beautiful massive pie. Flavorful toppings -- the poached lemons are a great touch -- and superb crust with lovely Leoparding. Do not miss this place if you love pizza! read more

The best pizza in Biddeford and Saco. Hands down. With all due respect to Alex Pizza, this takes 1st place. The pizza had crisp, good sauce and cheese. I'd go back over and over. Caesar salad was really good to - shaved cheese and lemon zest. Inside is small, with a few tables. New atmosphere. Will be a repeat customer! read more

I was in town for the weekend and thankfully I came across this spot. Absolutely killer New Haven style pizza.

We had been dying to try this place and finally had the opportunity to do so on New Years Eve. We didn't place an order until about 5pm that night so they were sold out of everything except for cheese and pepperoni but it was cool we had the option to add jalapenos and honey to the pep, and so we did. Just an FYI, if you order online, they give you a timeframe (72 minutes in our case) and a pick-up time. This is not an estimated pick-up time and there aren't any other updates saying it's ready. Honestly, pretty straight-forward, but we were around the corner and I guess I was expecting a text or email like we get from Rover. The pizza is amazeballs. I love me some Alex's and some F-Word Franks at Coletti's, but with one choice between the 3, last pizza on earth, I would take Pengs for sure. The sour of the sourdough is unreal, the slice does the perfect non-flop, the cheese is a perfect amount and the price of $21 (before tax and tip) is a good value. The size is more than enough for 2 people, though you won't want to share. Also, I would assume because of the fermentation of the dough and not being globbed with cheese, my stomach appreciated the pizza more than others in the area. Didn't get a sense of the vibe as they were clearly trying to get the hell out of there when we arrived, but it was nice they were open on NYE to begin with. read more

THE BEST PIZZA. So good two years In a row we've gone here on the first night we get to Maine for vacation. The specialty pizza are ridiculously good! And my little nephew doesn't eat read sauce, he's 3 never tried it. So they ripped him a white pizza no questions asked! read more

Yum! Ordered pickup on a Thursday night. By the time we went to order (6:30pm), everything was sold out other than cheese or pep so I recommend ordering ahead. It's a super small joint, which I think makes it more special. Pizza was cold by the time we got home, but we reheated it at 500° for 2.5 mins and it was perfect. Thin & crispy. Peng's is a great joint and definitely a good addition to the Biddeford area! read more
