    Meatball Sub

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and it was really solid! Very empty and we were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and came to take our order, refill water etc frequently. We shared the fried pickles which are so good and I got the meatball sub which really hit the spot! We ordered takeout from the Portland location the day before and it was also great. Everything stayed hot and crispy which was impressive. The Biddeford location is slightly hidden away but as long as you make it down the stairs you're almost there.

Big bar and lots of seats. We got the dumplings and a pepperoni pizza and both were really great. Service was quick and friendly. They have an outdoor patio it looks like as well. If I lived in this area I would frequent this spot.

Get the blueberry pizza.. you will not regret it. Staff was great also and beer selection was good also

We realized late this afternoon that we didn't feel at all like cooking, so we went into downtown Biddeford to find dinner. My partner has been here a number of times, but it was my first visit to their Biddeford location. They were pretty busy since I was some folks carry out 20+ pizzas, but they seated us quickly and our server was smiley and attentive but not at all pushy. The outdoor seating area was perfect for a temperate summer evening. We both ordered sandwiches and were so happy with both! My maple bacon smash burger was perfectly cooked and really tasty. My partner had the friend chicken sandwich which was unfussy ans delicious! They do need their property manager to do something about the vines and the bittersweet growing around the stairs down from Main Street however. They had live music going just as we left, but it sounded great. We'll be back!

I regrettably did not get a picture of the bacon beer cheese fires. THEY WERE AMAZING!! We also ordered a cheese pizza. (My usual when trying somewhere new) and it was pretty good! A little over cooked for me, but I could have been random. I'll be going back and trying some of their specialty pizzas.

Blueberry pizza.....you HAVE to try it.

Two words: BLUEBERRY PIZZA. We came to visit Maine for the first time and out of all the places we dined, this was BY FAR our favorite. Being from the Midwest, we didn't really know what to expect when ordering this pizza, but it was not only perfectly executed, it was DELICIOUS. We decided to order one as an appetizer and then ordered other meals as our entrées. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left, but it was so worth it. Everything here is so good! The staff is super friendly and helpful, as well. I have a severe food allergy and they accommodated it without hesitation. We will definitely plan a trip back to Maine, if only to eat here again!

We have been wanting to check the newest location for Brickyard Hollow in Biddeford after hearing from friends that have been to other locations that their food and drinks are excellent. We went last evening for dinner and it did NOT disappoint! Their outdoor seating is plentiful and their indoor section is so fresh and welcoming. We loved the massive pictures of the Mills and various old historical pictures of Biddeford and Biddeford Pool that gives this place a local feel despite having multiple locations. It took some time for the hostess to come out but once she did, greeted us warmly and quickly sat us outside where we wanted. The waiter was super friendly and courteous. He was very smart to call my Mom "Miss" which I thought was funny. We went for the pizza. Man- it was SO good! The thin crust is the perfect balance of crispy, doughy and fresh! Everyone was extremely satisfied with their pizzas and drinks. If you like craft beer, my husband says it's another good option in the area. The prices were not outrageous compared to other places in the area, which is a good option for folks who want to go out to a cool new place without taking out a small loan. We will definitely be back as we want to try their burgers, but will definitely order out for pizza again!

The pizza and beer tasted great, the chicken bacon ranch pizza may be my favorite in the area! The Prosciutto pizza was a little light on the toppings but had good flavor. Service was great, but it was a little loud inside. We did not get to try the outdoor seating due to the rain but it looks like a great spot to bring a group of people.

It's not often I have such a great experience at a restaurant I am compelled to shout it from the rooftops. Or I suppose the modern version of that saying would be "leave a five star review." That was my experience at the Biddeford Brickyard Hollow. We wandered in for an early lunch. Before we even entered we were warmly greeted and the door was held open for us by staff. The place was comfortably busy yet we were promptly seated. Our waiter Ethan was attentive and very friendly. He gave us Jack Black vibes in the best way. I took his advice and got the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was all in when he told me the buffalo and ranch was made in house! Not to exaggerate but it was the best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. A couple weeks ago I had the chicken sandwich at Banded down road and was sorely disappointed, so I desperately needed a good chicken sando. This one had the perfect amount of crunchy breading, flavorful slaw, and of course delicious sauce. The fries were also insanely good. Just a slight crunch with a soft inside. I also got their sour beer, which was super good! Believe it or not it left a GOOD taste in my mouth? The aftertaste was a subtle sweetness, I would order it again for sure. Overall experience was a 10/10, we will be back! If management sees this review, please make sure to give Ethan our props!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Always on the hunt for new brewpubs within the Saco/Biddo area and this is an awesome addition. They have several brews to choose from (the bramble and send it are our favorite), along with a stacked menu with several different choices. The service was quick and everyone we interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. An added bonus is the ability to do a half/half pizza, but also the size-able outdoor area they offer. I think we may have found our new favorite spot.... Definitely indulge in the beer fries, a pizza, and some IPA's.

We ordered the duckfat cornbread, which was gross, and after seeing other reviews ours didn't even come with the side of butter. So for $12 we only got the 3 gross pieces of bread, we told our waitress and she was like ya I hate that cornbread too. For our dinners my husband ordered the fish and chips $24 He only got 1 small piece of fish and I got a run of the mill burger for $19. The kicker was our kids ordered pasta and were told it had not been prepared yet, it was 630p and it's pasta noodles like what??!! Seems like a cash grab seeing as the other "kids menu" items are $2-$4 more. The game room was nice for the kids, the event space and decor were definitely on point. Bathroom huge, but the food sucked and I will never return to any of their locations.

Several more visits since my last review…read more Some things haven't changed: -- The beers are still great. Swish, Here's to Feeling Good All the Time, Nothing Gold, and Reciprocal are a formidable foursome. At any given time, you can usually get at least two, more often three, sometimes all four. -- You'd be hard pressed (pun intended) to find a better smashburger in Portland, but I'd also put it up against any regularly-offered burger I've had in Portland--smashed or otherwise. I love everything about it, from the high caliber of the beef to the fresh pillowy milk bun to the exhilaratingly strong cure of the bacon to the razor-thin cutting of the vegetables to the execution that gets even a smashburger burger juicy. -- I'm still not crazy about the wings. They have a frozen dinner feel to them. A few things, though, have changed: -- Full service now instead of having to order everything at the bar. That's a plus. -- The place is much more crowded-- including screaming tykes-- on the weekends. Not a plus, but can't fault a place for its own popularity. -- The fries are now the industrial strength coated kind. A big minus and a sad drop off from prior greatness, but better that than from an item off the main cast. -- You can now order beer cans to go from the table rather than having to get in line. A nice convenience. A few things to know: -- It's a surprisingly good option for vegetarians and pescatarians. The veggie burger and the grilled fish sandwich are both much more than solid. -- There's outdoor seating in front of the building and also to the right. -- The bar room to the right of the entrance is adults only, so if those screaming tykes get on your nerves, this is the place to be. -- You can still order beer at the bar if that's your preference over table service. Still a favorite, and the combo of beer, food, and space is tough to beat (Mast Landing and Maine Beer in Freeport are also somewhere in that echelon).

As an IPA fan I enjoyed this new version very much for its hop saturated citrusy forward taste that drank quite smooth for the 9.5%. At this point now Bissell is broken into two separate parts. The first will be the space welcoming to families and is more of their restaurant style area. Appeared to be a popular area and does offer reservations. My preferred area is the Bissell Garden as they call it. Those entering need to be of drinking age and have more lounge vibes where you order at the bar. It still offers full kitchen menu so is perfect. Particularly my favorite is snagging bar stools to grab some beers and food. I had to try out the Super Swish while my wife grabbed their red ale named Turnpike. Then food wise we split their kitchen special Classic Poutine. Some of the best classic kept simple poutine I have had. The perfect comfort food for yet another cold weather day in Maine. Have been impressed by all the food from Bissell. Truly the only negative still stands being the fact it's on Thompson's Point and required paid parking (not Bissell Brothers call but still). One of the most popular Maine breweries for a reason especially in the IPA game. Give all their other style of beers a try too though, top notch brewery!
