    Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich

We realized late this afternoon that we didn't feel at all like cooking, so we went into downtown Biddeford to find dinner. My partner has been here a number of times, but it was my first visit to their Biddeford location. They were pretty busy since I was some folks carry out 20+ pizzas, but they seated us quickly and our server was smiley and attentive but not at all pushy. The outdoor seating area was perfect for a temperate summer evening. We both ordered sandwiches and were so happy with both! My maple bacon smash burger was perfectly cooked and really tasty. My partner had the friend chicken sandwich which was unfussy ans delicious! They do need their property manager to do something about the vines and the bittersweet growing around the stairs down from Main Street however. They had live music going just as we left, but it sounded great. We'll be back!

I regrettably did not get a picture of the bacon beer cheese fires. THEY WERE AMAZING!! We also ordered a cheese pizza. (My usual when trying somewhere new) and it was pretty good! A little over cooked for me, but I could have been random. I'll be going back and trying some of their specialty pizzas.

Blueberry pizza.....you HAVE to try it.

Two words: BLUEBERRY PIZZA. We came to visit Maine for the first time and out of all the places we dined, this was BY FAR our favorite. Being from the Midwest, we didn't really know what to expect when ordering this pizza, but it was not only perfectly executed, it was DELICIOUS. We decided to order one as an appetizer and then ordered other meals as our entrées. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left, but it was so worth it. Everything here is so good! The staff is super friendly and helpful, as well. I have a severe food allergy and they accommodated it without hesitation. We will definitely plan a trip back to Maine, if only to eat here again!

We have been wanting to check the newest location for Brickyard Hollow in Biddeford after hearing from friends that have been to other locations that their food and drinks are excellent. We went last evening for dinner and it did NOT disappoint! Their outdoor seating is plentiful and their indoor section is so fresh and welcoming. We loved the massive pictures of the Mills and various old historical pictures of Biddeford and Biddeford Pool that gives this place a local feel despite having multiple locations. It took some time for the hostess to come out but once she did, greeted us warmly and quickly sat us outside where we wanted. The waiter was super friendly and courteous. He was very smart to call my Mom "Miss" which I thought was funny. We went for the pizza. Man- it was SO good! The thin crust is the perfect balance of crispy, doughy and fresh! Everyone was extremely satisfied with their pizzas and drinks. If you like craft beer, my husband says it's another good option in the area. The prices were not outrageous compared to other places in the area, which is a good option for folks who want to go out to a cool new place without taking out a small loan. We will definitely be back as we want to try their burgers, but will definitely order out for pizza again!

The pizza and beer tasted great, the chicken bacon ranch pizza may be my favorite in the area! The Prosciutto pizza was a little light on the toppings but had good flavor. Service was great, but it was a little loud inside. We did not get to try the outdoor seating due to the rain but it looks like a great spot to bring a group of people.

It's not often I have such a great experience at a restaurant I am compelled to shout it from the rooftops. Or I suppose the modern version of that saying would be "leave a five star review." That was my experience at the Biddeford Brickyard Hollow. We wandered in for an early lunch. Before we even entered we were warmly greeted and the door was held open for us by staff. The place was comfortably busy yet we were promptly seated. Our waiter Ethan was attentive and very friendly. He gave us Jack Black vibes in the best way. I took his advice and got the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was all in when he told me the buffalo and ranch was made in house! Not to exaggerate but it was the best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. A couple weeks ago I had the chicken sandwich at Banded down road and was sorely disappointed, so I desperately needed a good chicken sando. This one had the perfect amount of crunchy breading, flavorful slaw, and of course delicious sauce. The fries were also insanely good. Just a slight crunch with a soft inside. I also got their sour beer, which was super good! Believe it or not it left a GOOD taste in my mouth? The aftertaste was a subtle sweetness, I would order it again for sure. Overall experience was a 10/10, we will be back! If management sees this review, please make sure to give Ethan our props!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Always on the hunt for new brewpubs within the Saco/Biddo area and this is an awesome addition. They have several brews to choose from (the bramble and send it are our favorite), along with a stacked menu with several different choices. The service was quick and everyone we interacted with were very friendly and accommodating. An added bonus is the ability to do a half/half pizza, but also the size-able outdoor area they offer. I think we may have found our new favorite spot.... Definitely indulge in the beer fries, a pizza, and some IPA's.

The wood fired wings are delicious and my daughter loves the Sweet Teriyaki Bowl with tofu, and a variety of vegetables including brussels sprouts & pea shoots. My favorite thing to order at Brickyard is the Blueberry Pizza, which a lovingly call "Pizza of the Gods". I've been ordering this pizza every time we visit, and I hope they never take it off the menu. Pizza of the Gods includes wild Maine Blueberries, lemon, rosemary, and shallots, and beautiful dollops of ricotta topping a white pizza base. All I can say is give it a try - it's heavenly! Service is always good here with food arriving quickly and the atmosphere is casual. I especially like the historic photos of Ogunquit that decorate the restaurant, and when the fireplace is burning, it is a treat to warm up near it. Lastly, the drinks. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I can always find something on the menu that I'll enjoy. My husband is a beer drinker and he loves it here as well. First thing though, we got seated super close to other parties even though there were open tables. The group behind us spilled water, scooted back, and literally bumped into us without even a quick "sorry" and didn't move their chair back. We ordered the sweet chili wings, but they came out oily and kind of flat on flavor. The burger at our table was decent but definitely on the dry side. The pizza was saltier than we expected, so that missed too. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries was good, the drinks were solid, and the location is great. I think next time I'll just stick with the Portland spot.

I enjoyed the tacos - the ratio of fish to slaw and aioli, etc. was just right. And the sandwiches are served with a generous amount of crispy French fries. On a weekday in March, many of the local shops and restaurants were closed. It was an unseasonably warm day, and we were happy to stumble upon Batson River for a fun and memorable lunch!

Also, the plethora of Christmas decorations inside and out, made it also feel cozy, and festive. I stuck with fries, and they even had sour cream for dipping them. We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

The first will be the space welcoming to families and is more of their restaurant style area. Appeared to be a popular area and does offer reservations. My preferred area is the Bissell Garden as they call it. Those entering need to be of drinking age and have more lounge vibes where you order at the bar. It still offers full kitchen menu so is perfect. Particularly my favorite is snagging bar stools to grab some beers and food. I had to try out the Super Swish while my wife grabbed their red ale named Turnpike. Then food wise we split their kitchen special Classic Poutine. Some of the best classic kept simple poutine I have had. The perfect comfort food for yet another cold weather day in Maine. Have been impressed by all the food from Bissell. Rule #1 of hospitality: Always service the people who are literally in front of you, and took the time on a cold night to drive and to patronize you and your establishment. Put phone callers on hold. We were then seated in a back corner booth with no view of the restaurant. When a waitress appeared, I asked the price of the Lobster BLT listed in the menu section of their website. "Oh, we don't have that anymore." I asked why it remained on their website. I got a dirty look. She went on to tell my party that they actually had NO lobster in house. In Maine. My partner ordered a Reuben sandwich. He opened it up and we found about 1 tsp of sauerkraut inside. The breading on my fish sandwich was overdone and beyond crispy. But the most infuriating moment was ordering a cup of hot tea. Hot water and a tea bag, nothing more. Since the waitress had disappeared, I had to physically get up and ask for a hot water refill. The waitress I did find didn't want to help, instead pointing in another direction, saying "She's over there." I tracked her down; our waitress was talking with another employee.
