Reliable, fast service. I ordered a lunch special with egg flower soup, an egg roll (more of a spring roll), shrimp with lobster sauce, fried rice and a fortune cookie. Lucky Chopsticks offers solid customer service as well as value in the food to price ratio but lacking in overall quality. Located across the parking lot from a Goodwill and next to a dentist office this restaurant is not hard to find and even easier to snag parking. The inside is as unremarkable as the outside but it's clean with plenty of seating/space for any size party without feeling squeezed. Their service is fast and respectful, I never felt hurried to order and beverages stayed full throughout the dining experience. The menu offers many of the familiar Chinese staples for reasonable prices, I'd definitely recommend their lunch specials which offer soup, egg roll, chicken fingers, rice and desired entree for around 11 to 12 dollars. "Quantity does not mean quality" best describes the food. I ordered the sweet sour pork with fried rice and egg flour soup. The egg flour soup was flavorless, fried rice over cooked to the point of burned and the main event was less sweet and sour pork and more sweet and oily tempura batter. Nibbles of pork that I could find were good and I commend them on not drowning the food in sauce and compromising the crispness; that said the artificial in appearance, clear, neon pink sweet and sour sauce was unsettling. My sides (egg roll and chicken fingers) were passable with the chicken fingers (sad to say) the sole standout of the meal because they were evenly coated and the chicken was moist. I'm giving Lucky Chopsticks a 2.5 out of 5 on account that their service was good but lack of depth, spotty preparation and cut corners delivered a below average experience. read more

I have to say this is absolutely the worst restaraunt I have ever been to. I love Chinese food, but this place put a really bad taste in my mouth, literally....For starters, we ordered an appetizer, and for $7.00 you get 2 tiny eggrolls 2 chicken wings, and 2 tiny shrimp thrown in batter and deep fried....It was hot but not worth the money. Then when Me and my Wife got our Mongolian Beef, it was cold, with these rice noodles you could hardly chew through, and the Mongolian Beef itself was pretty tasteless. Another negative was the service. She gave us these appetizers, but gave us no napkins. We asked for a rag to wipe up the sweet and sour the waitress spilled all over the table. And the atmosphere was tough also. We were sitting at our table and kept hearing this terrible screaming, which almost sounded like an animal being hurt, we asked the cook/waitress what that was and we were told it was her child..I have never been to a place like this in my life, and I will NEVER go back to this place. My family has had good experiences here on several occasions. Dine-in only. We have found the food to be flavorful and the portion sizes generous. The service has been prompt and friendly every time. It is a bit of a drive but if we are in Maple Valley this place is always on the "finalist" list for a meal. read more

I absolutely love this place! It is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Every time we eat here or order out, the food tastes delicious. The jasmine tea is amazing, and everything from the egg flower soup to the fortune cookies are wonderful. The food is always fresh and piping hot. I've even converted friends who live kind of far away to come back here regularly. It is very reasonably priced and the dinner specials give you a lot of food, more than enough for one person with leftovers. Consider me a loyal and regular costumer! read more

We go to Golden Chopsticks mostly for lunch. I like the friendly service. The meal value is very good. They provide interesting appetizers, including hand-made barbecue beef. The rest of the fare is satisfying (we've had most of the dishes), but they lack variety of other restaurants (like moo-goo gai pan, honey walnut shrimp). We are soup lovers. The Hot/Sour Soup is watery and low in flavor...probably made from a mix. My favorite restaurants make soups by hand, but I won't dis these guys by naming them here. To their credit, they don't go nuts with the MSG (which makes me sick). To get to 4 stars the soup needs to improve and the variety needs to improve. Good, consistent place to go where you won't go away hungry because stuff was too icky to eat. read more

I cannot even give them one star! The worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life. Lemon chicken and pot stickers cooked in very old oil that tasted like fish. Weird greasy potstickers that looked like empanadas,so greasy you didn't even want to touch them. Mu Shu Pork - how is it possible to ruin that? A cup of stale oil for every cup of veggies, that's how they do it! We didn't want to drive back down in the cold and return everything, so we just tossed it all except for the crab rangoon( which they must have bought at Costco and heated) I usually give a place two chances, but this was so bad we will never go back. Overall a positive experience. This is the second time that I ordered take out. The first time was a little sketchy, but I am chalking it up to the things that we ordered. This time I went with some classics to judge flavor execution and quality. Honey walnut shrimp, beef with green beans, Kung pao chicken and special fried rice. Shrimp was a nice portion, good flavor and good tempura batter. Good dish. I didn't share much of this one. Beef with green beans was also good. Nice portion, flavor and plenty of sauce. Green beans were still a little crisp just like they should be. Beef was tender and portioned correctly. Sauce had just the right touch of garlic. A winner. Kung pao was not the best Kung pao I have ever had, but still respectable. Special rice was delicious. Had plenty of pork, shrimp and chicken in it, and really great flavor. Nicely done. I should also mention that we ordered the BBQ pork the first time out, and it was fantastic. Ever been to china town in Honolulu and eaten the BBQ pork out of the window off the street? This was on par with that. Nice job. Needless to say I am looking forward to trying some other dishes on my next visit.
