I love Lucky Brand and I love coming into the store to see new styles in person. Over the past year, I have ordered more from online just because the store won't have the specific item I am looking for or they just have very little stock and sell out quickly. I do love this location though for the deals as they have great sales for being in an outlet mall. They are small so they don't have a lot of the current/newer items but they still do have a decent amount. I love their T-shirts, belts, and blouses at this location as they have some of the best variety at great prices. It is hard to get a store associate to help just because they are so busy, but when they do get to you everyone has always been incredibly helpful. read more

My husband was looking for a shirt and I love Lucky Brand jeans so we decided to go on in and take a look around. They have a good selection of items from shirts, to accessories, and of course jeans. I got the most comfortable pair on sale for $25 (such a great deal!). Prices are pretty good and the quality of clothing is awesome. My husband bought a long sleeve shirt but ended up taking it back. The staff was great, said sorry it didn't work out and no issue. Nice location in the Carlsbad Outlet Center and staff has always been helpful when we go in. read more

Horrible service. The store had the sign outside of the 7 people capacity. (Understandable in 2020) We came at the time when the store had no line outside. When a first person left. The store stuff asked us to wait outside for a little bit longer. So both of us, my wife and I, could enter. Soon after yet another three people(a couple and an infant) left and we tried to enter. The person in the store told us to wait yet again as from this moment on they have to include the personnel. I counted only 6 people including us in the store. To witch I was told that they have more people in the fitting rooms. Right after I asked for what we came for, 4 pairs of jeans in the size 33 by 34. I was always buying that exact size at that exact store for the last 5 years. This time the same person making stuff up and lying told me that they carry that size only online. I hope the person in charge of this location will see this review and will act accordingly. If not for my concern then for the statement that store manager allows the store to break the rule of the strict capacity, as she admitted to us. Awful experience read more

The young female manager who was working 3/21/22 around 2:00pm deserves a raise or bonus! She had to deal with a very aggressive "Karen" demanding the manager and her money back even though the policy was clearly stated on receipt. Manager then offers to give "Karen" a store credit to which this crazy person goes off saying, "I don't want to come back into this piece of s**t store ever again so what else are you going to do for me?" The manager then calmly and professionally asked her to leave. Why are people so damn angry these days? Just take the credit for Gods Sake!! Anyways, hoping some good can come from this and she can get a raise or at the very least kudos for having to deal with that crap. Cause NO ONE gets paid enough to put up with that... read more

When i got there i was shooed out of the store because they were closing for "30 minutes" for lunch, since "it was just the 2 of us." I waited around for over an hour and finally left. They were the reason I drove up to these outlets, very disappointing, Lucky Brand just lost a customer, plus about 5 possible sales as I stand here typing this and people walk up to find them closed. I bought two pairs of jeans there recently and am disappointed by their customer service when I tried to return one of the pairs today. I explained to the girl that these jeans fit completely differently than the other pair of jeans in the same model and size. The only difference was the color. She explained I needed to have the tags on the tags on the jeans in order to return them. I explained to her I was told by the sales associate who helped me that the jeans are always the exact fit in the same size. Needless to say, she was completely off and it was inaccurate information. Now I'm stuck with a pair of jeans that don't fit and it was a waste of money and time dealing with them. If you're looking for jeans, shop somewhere else. I was in lucky Brand Jeans today with my mom and unfortunately there were none of my size in women bootcut jeans for 2L and I asked the worker if they can check if they have some online and I would order them from there in person and she told me I had to check that on my own online because sometimes it doesn't appear in stock from there end after that I left to go check if they have my size and she repeats that they only have regular no long size. I continued to ask the other worker and received the same response. After that I left because the customer care was unsatisfactory. If you truly cared about customer care you would try and fit thier needs in order to consume at your store. I've been at the store I've been able to place orders in store. I hope they take I'm consideration this review to step up customer care. It doesn't hurt to show your customer you are checking online. read more

Always liked this store due to the manageable size and the easy shopping experience. On my two recent visits in Oct and Nov '22, I was very impressed by a young employee named Hayley. She is polite, observant, and offered assistance with during both visits with holding my selection of for me at the register, and with helping me look for sizes, colors that were not on display. It is rare to experience such understated yet sincere customer service that really enhances the shopping experience, specially during the busiest shopping season of the year. I've been to this store 3 or 4 times over the past couple years. I probably won't go back. The biggest problem is the staff. The guy (Jason) was helpful but the girl salesperson ( Jenna) was rude. She walked to the register, took my shirt,talked to the other staff, without even looking at me, then pushed the bag with shirt and said "there you go" and turned away. Not a thanks for shopping with us or even an attempt to be cordial or professional. You can say this is only one employee, however my wife, after a couple of bad experiences with staff, won't go back. Also, while the shirts can be a good value, the jeans are barely marked down considering they are in an outlet mall. The sale today was buy one, get one 50% off, so 25% off two pair of $89 jeans! Absolutely, the worst experience ever in a Lucky Brand Store. The salesperson actually asked me to step aside so she could wait on another customer. Wait WHAT? Completely insulting to me that I wasn't worth an exemplary customer experience, rather another person was. I actually asked her, "So you want me to step aside and wait while you take care of another person?" Hmm..... So I stepped aside and she continued to process my return. Mind you I had waited my turn several minutes while she was waiting on several other customers. No rushing on my part. But seriously, why would she think that I didn't deserve service when it was my turn? Then she was completely lacking in the the common courtesy to explain what I was getting back from my return. She handed me my receipts and couldn't explain the my refund. Inept! If this is the type of customer service lucky brand is putting out there, they need to send this employee to training, remedial. read more

Great clothes and great service. I feel lucky to have this outlet in my home town. This store is packed with merchandise but the staff is willing to help you navigate the racks so you can find for what you are looking. Myla helped me on my most recent visit and she was awesome - kind, supportive and sweet. She had great follow through at the dressing room and didn't try to push extra stuff on me when I'd have enough shopping for the night. read more

Love customer service that goes above and beyond. Coming from the Hospitality Industry and trained my Marriott Hotels and the Ritz Carlton, it's important to always recognize good service. Jason was not only very pleasant on the phone but look for the pair of jeans I need it and finding that was the last pair offered to hold them for me. Further more, allowed me to call via FaceTime my brother to make sure it was the right piece and talked about the promotion of the second pair for half off and offers to show me all the alternatives I can chose from before making my decision. I had been walking around the Carlsbad outlets for about an hour going from store to store til I stumbled upon lucky. I went to Calvin Klein, I went to Tommy Hillfigure, I went to Gap, I went to polo. I've definitely heard of lucky before but I've never thought twice about shopping there. Needless to say by the time I walked in I was pretty much over the Jean Hunt. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two ladies. One made a lighthearted joke about me looking in the wrong section. (I found it funny) The other woman Shannon who ended up helping me was awesome. She took the time to introduce herself and even asked my name. She took the time to explain each wash and each cut. She guided my derrière right into a set of distressed 121's on sale for $79.99 (marked from $120). And my main squeeze picked up two more form-fitting denim designers for half the cost to boot! I love Lucky Brand! They have cute tops and their jeans fit great. They always have long inseam jeans in stock-yay! The sales people are always really helpful. I just went there Saturday for some skinny jeans to wear with my new boots from Nordstrom Rack and as soon as I walked in, I was helped by a young woman with black curly hair. She had been putting away stock at the front of the store and stopped what she was doing when she asked if she could help me and I said I was looking for skinny Sophia jeans. She found the jeans right away, I tried them on, and was out of there in ten minutes tops. I would have shopped longer but had more stuff to do. read more

It took me forever to write a review, but I visited the Lucky store on 09/08/2017. I was helped by Leslie. When I walked in, she immediately greeted me. After browsing jeans, I realized I had no clue what I was doing. I asked Leslie for help. She grabbed me 5 pairs of jeans to start, since I had no clue what I was looking for besides "jeans." After trying on 5 pairs, I found only one I liked, and started getting discouraged. She immediately grabbed a few more, and then a few more, and then a few more! I got to the last pair of jeans, when I realized I had tried on over 16 pairs of jeans. I was hoping to buy 4 pairs of jeans, but was actually thinking I would only walk out with 1 pair, due to my picky nature. Leslie helped me purchase all 4! I would like to express my complete and utter dissatisfaction for my shopping experience that I recently had with this store. Upon arrival everything went great my friend and I were greeted immediately and were even helped picking out sizing that would fit us. While we tried on jeans we were constantly helped, but we were a little bit concerned with the prices, so the young lady Susana D. told us that if we were to purchase more than 3 pairs of the clearance jeans she would discount them for us by 40%, because their red tag was placed over the clearance sign and was not completely clear. As we came to our final selections I paid first and much to my surprise the jeans that were on the clearance shelve were not discounted. Instead she took off only $20.00 per pair of jeans that I had, which does not equal to 40%. I didn't say anything at first, but once my friend paid for her jeans and did not receive the 40% off we decided to go outside and check our calculations. Much to our surprise we were correct. We then proceeded back into the store where we were told that they did not refund clearance merchandise, even though we'd just walked out. She asked the manager Catherine W, and she agreed to refund my friends purchase, but only two pairs of the jeans. When asked why she wanted to return the jeans my friend stated, "because we were told that if we purchased more than 3 pairs of jeans she (Susana D) would reduce the jeans by 40% each. Catherine W then stated, "She would not have told you that because we don't discount denim, her attitude completely changed from being helpful to confrontation by telling my friend you are already getting a deal because the jeans are half off of the original price." I was so disappointed by how unprofessional she was because probably about 6 months ago my husband and I were in the same store with the exact same employees and we received top notch treatment. For me to have brought my friend into the same store and be so disrespected I have decided that not only will I not go back to the Lucky Brand Outlet in Carlsbad, but I will no longer buy any of their products. read more

I just noticed another hole in a very expensive shirt I got there. Sadly, their once great stuff has become very poor quality. I tried to talk to management twice about this and was treated not nice.
