We came here for a girls dinner. Considering this was more in my hood, I hadn't heard of it before, and found out that they're a new restaurant. We did make a reservation, but it wasn't necessary. We were greeted and seated very quickly. The service was so great. The staff was so sweet and very helpful. Everything looked so good and I was in a mood to try a few things, so fortunately, my friend is one always willing to do family style! We went with a special they had, that included crab claws and clams in a wine sauce pasta, 1/2 and 1/2 pizza, and the chicken parmigiana. We started off with some AMAZING garlic knot roll thingys, and some fresh salad. The thing that will grab my heart every time at a Italian place is the amount of parmesan you provide!! They were very generous with the freshly grated parm for everything we ordered!! The special with the crab claws and claws tossed with linguine in the wine sauce was super yummy. The dish was light, and I loved the claws, and the parm of course, adding to the tasty dish. The chicken parm that we ordered, I asked for alfredo instead of marinara and the same. The chicken was crispy and had good flavors, and loved that the marinara was on top of the chicken, so you get this creamy marina mix when you eat the pasta with the chicken! And last but not least, the pizza, I wanted to try one of the specials they had, which came with prosciutto, figs, mozzarella, and a lemon vinaigrette, and then the other 1/2 BYO, with chicken, mushrooms, and olives, and of course, topped with more fresh parm!!! The dough was very yummy, and I loved the fresh toppings on there. I think the split is the way to go, so you can get a little bit of everything. We were so full at this point, we couldn't eat anymore and they boxed up all our leftovers for us. Checkout was pretty quick, wish I could've tried some dessert, but that just means next time we start with dessert! Can't wait to come back and try some other options!

Kind of hard to tell because I was the only one there for dinner (because of Eduardo). They did bring me a beer that they said wasn't cold enough out in an improvised beer bucket. Pizza was better than average.

I love trying places that I've never been to especially when they are like 5 minutes away. I hear this place was fairly new from the comments so I headed for a mini adventure to try it. I ordered something simple and it was decent. I had to add a little more seasoning to make it to my liking. Nevertheless, the salad was very fresh and paired with the pasta. Can't wait to try the more items to see what's my favorite dish.

Fantastic food. This place has recently opened, and this was excellent. Go there before the word gets out and this place gets crowded with foodies.

Lucio's is a new Italian restaurant located on Hwy 249 about 1.5 miles south of the beltway. It is in a strip center end cap with plenty of parking available in front on a well lit parking lot. Inside it's quite large but at this time they are only using one half of the interior. It is a table service restaurant. Every meal comes with a complimentary warm bread roll and butter along with a nice side salad. My meals for lunch and dinner have been: Crawfish shrimp and linguini scampi for $21. This has been my favorite meal here. The bowl had plenty of shrimp and crawfish along with spinach, mushrooms and lemon in a butter sauce over the pasta. (4.5). The build your own pizza with 3 toppings for $9! Yeah that's right! I asked for beef, mushrooms and onions and it arrived on a 12" pie. For $9! Amazing. They have other specialty 12" pizzas for about $13. Real deals! And mine was delicious (4). By the way you still get the bread and salad too. Another visit was for the chicken cacciatore for $17. This meal came with the chicken, onions, mushrooms and peppers in a marinade sauce with pasta shells and grilled veggies. This meal was just ok in taste and my least favorite of meals I have sampled here (3). The veggies need to be flavored better if they are going to be on the plate. Finally I had the traditional spaghetti with meat sauce for $18. This was a large serving and tasted good (3.5). It was a filling meal and fits the bill for Italian comfort food. During my visits the table service has been warm and friendly. I know they are new but I hope more people eat here because attendance has been low during all of my visits. This part of Houston isn't known for many good restaurants but this is one for sure. It's only about a 5-6 minute drive from Willowbrook Mall on Hwy 249. Come eat here!

We ordered Grubhub and the food came perfectly warm and delicious. The portions were more than enough. We ordered a traditional 9" pizza with pepperoni, prosciutto, and meatball. The best pizza I've had, not greasy and the crust was thin just the way I like it. Also ordered Crawfish and Shrimp Linguine Scampi, it was so good. The butter sauce was light with a hint of white wine. My husband had the Veal Scallopini with caper piccata. He said the veal was cooked perfectly. The rolls were soft and good too. We will definitely visit the restaurant soon.

First time here and all I can say is WOW! This place knows what they're doing! Food was delicious and the friendly service only made everything that much better! I had the roasted gnocchi with blackened shrimp and I was amazing!

Trying Lucille's Italian restaurant for the first time. This place just opened up 2-3 months ago. You get salad upon any pasta dish.

This restaurant has probably been open for 2 to 3 months. I had my first meal. And it was really delicious. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The only complaint I have is that their roles are not the best. I'm used to eating at Adriatic Café and their buttery rolls are to die for. But the food was really fresh and amazing. Again, can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Adriatic Café does give you a bigger portions for a better price. This restaurant is literally right across from where I live. Super close & convenient. The staff is a phenomenal. Had great customer service & great recommendations. I ordered Alfredo for my son to go. I'll have to review that another time.

The lighting and atmosphere was perfect for a quaint date night. And I want to know what jazz playlist they were playing because it was great. What blew it out of the water was the service, particularly by the owner himself. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, having the owner on the floor is almost never seen. But this man was working all jobs: helping the hostess when she got super busy, food running, bussing, checking up on all tables, doing the best for everyone. Plus, he was incredibly kind with an amazing smile. Idk what he saw in my partner and I, but he gave us tiramisu on the house. We are not fancy influencers or rich folk, and I feel that was kinda obvious. But I think he did it just to make our date night a lil bit more special. And that kind of effort should be rewarded.

The Bolognese was also excellent--rich and flavorful without being overly salty, which I really appreciated. What stood out to me most was how well-balanced everything tasted. You can tell there's a real focus on fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flavors. The food is flavorful and satisfying without feeling overly heavy or salty like many American Italian chains. I feel comfortable feeding my child the food from here. I'm so glad to have found a quality Italian restaurant in Houston that lets the ingredients and flavors speak for themselves. Even the panna cotta was delicious, and I'm usually not much of a dessert person! Definitely a 5-star experience. We'll be back!

I've had Mimo on my radar for a couple of years, but somehow I never found the right occasion to finally give it a try. Well, celebrating both my birthday and wedding anniversary seemed like a pretty good reason! I must say, Mimo had to fight hard to earn those five stars. The experience was memorable, not necessarily because it was perfect, but because it wasn't. The imperfections, oddly enough, are what made it memorable. Let's start with the menu. There aren't many dishes, which is generally speaking a good sign these days. There's really no excuse not to use fresh ingredients when you're working with a smaller menu. At the same time, I wouldn't say the offerings were particularly adventurous. That said, the quality was definitely there. We started with the Fritter as an appetizer, and it was super delicious. The combination of fried zucchini, corn, and that touch of honey somehow really worked! Then we ordered a pasta dish each, under the common assumption that a pasta dish in most Italian restaurants (including the ones in Italy) is supposed to be filling. Well... no! These were pretty small. I ordered the spaghetti al limone, while my wife went for the gnocchi. Both were good, although the spaghetti were cooked somewhere on the borderline between al dente and chewy. The corn in the gnocchi also felt a little alien, like it didn't really belong there. Still, we couldn't deny that the flavors were good and the ingredients were fresh. Oddly enough, we were still hungry, so we ordered a second dish each: the Pork Milanese for me and the Pesce del Giorno for my wife. And this is where Mimo saved the day! The Pork Milanese, with mortadella and pecorino cheese on top, was delicious. And the polenta that came with my wife's dish was one of the best I've ever had. Interestingly, these dishes were disproportionately larger, more than making up for the minuscule portions of the pasta dishes. So, I guess it all worked out in the end! Another date saver was the service. It was outstanding. Attentive, friendly, and exactly what you would expect from a restaurant trying to create a special experience. Then came dessert: the Zeppole. It was good, but nothing particularly special. To me, it tasted like churros made with a dough that incorporated ricotta. Not bad at all, just not something I'll be dreaming about later. And that was our experience at Mimo! I think the review probably benefited from the fact that I was there celebrating a special occasion. It was a somewhat strange experience, with some ups and downs, but we genuinely enjoyed it. Would I be back? Possibly... Four stars stretched to five? Yeah... FIVE Stars!
