Luca is definitely a restaurant I would encourage to visit, especially during the summertime. The place is pretty spacious and also a cute place that has patio, bar, general seating and an upstairs seating. When the weather is nice they can open up sliding garage type door. The dinner menu is pretty straight forward with small plates, pasta, and wood burning oven dishes. I've been there twice, the first time I tried the BRANZINO that is wood-grilled and roasted, butter sauce, Arbequina olive 'condita' with soft herbs, baby fennel, garlic mustards, earl's spinach. I thought it was a 3 star dish because it was tough with some of the extra bones. The second time I went with the pasta TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE hand cut tagliatelle, classic ragù bolognese, grana padano cheese. For sure a 5 star dish. Both times they had a good wine list to choose from. Service was prompt and friendly that made the experience more enjoyable. Luca is definitely a place to visit and I would come back again.

Just didn't hit the mark. It took 1.5 hours for dinner to come. Some dishes were cold. Portions were minuscule.

I've been here with my family many times and it's always been consistently good. It's a great space and atmosphere for a night out. The staff is friendly and the food always tastes great. The gnocchi is some of the pillowiest and some of these sauces used in the pasta and branzino were addictive. The greatest deal at the kid's pastas on their kids menu. Generous portions and super delicious. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Lancaster!

Grilled porchetta with charred escarole, cherry tomatoes, tropea onions

Amazing dinner! Excellent vibe and setting. * Eggplant Caponata- marinated eggplant, charred escarole, grilled focaccia * Porchetta with Charred Escarole, confit tropea onion and savory herbs * Sunday Meatballs with whipped ricotta and a bed of polenta * Tiramisu Also had the delicious focaccia on the table as well. Great cocktails and wine too!

Dined here recently with our family. The menu offerings are eclectic and different than other Italian establishments in the Lancaster area. The good: The food was very delicious. We enjoyed our wine, olive appetizer and entrees. I got the ravioli and my wife enjoyed the guinea hen dish. The portions here are not large, so it's good to get a few dishes. The ambience in the side dining room was nice and much easier to converse in than the louder, main room. Our server was very knowledgeable and excited about the menu. The not so good: The wait between our appetizers and entrees was nearly an hour. We had another event to get to and were somewhat pressed for time.

Bronzino prepared in a flatten manner.

Our party of six enjoyed sitting in the quieter dining room rather than the main room. Our server was terrific. Did a great job explaining a few complex specials. Drinks and starters came out very quickly. We had a little bit of a wait for our entrees which is why I've given 4 rather than 5 stars. My branzino was terrific and a very large portion. Some of the other entrees seemed a little small. Great place to try if you're in Lancaster.

Burrata

What a gem! It was our anniversary and we were treated like VIPs... Erin, thank you for serving us with a warmth, kindness, professionalism and a smile. Isaiah, your generosity and hospitality made the night memorable, along with your knowledge and expertise... The "My Chareau-da" (clever) was perfection. And to end the meal with the absolutely perfect sip, Dopo Teatro Vermouth Amaro, made it an extra special ending to our anniversary dinner. Chef and team: How could I forget to mention the food?! The Burrata small plate got us started (so good... we wanted to lick the pesto right off the plate), followed by The Luca Chicken (tasty, though you have to work a bit to get every bit of juicy meat off the bone) and Hanger Steak (medium rare, thank you... perfect), followed by an affogato (so smooth) and the delicious dessert you see in the photo (can't remember what it was called, but they boasted about the Lancaster strawberries). Great from start to finish! Worth noting: We felt GREAT afterward and the next day, a true test of good, real food. No bloating, etc. Last note: It can get loud, but it wasn't over the top. This is the sign of people having a good time!

The food is so good and the service is fabulous. Our server, India, was super friendly and so professional. We sat at the Chefs counter and all the kitchen staff were so friendly.

This came highly recommended and we weren't surprised to see it was difficult to get a reservation. Randomly scored an early dinner reservation the next day for a table for 6. The restaurant was bustling at the bar and main dining room. Our table was in the quieter side room so it was less noisy and easy to converse. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Our bread and drink orders arrived quickly. Everyone loved their pasta choices. Would definitely return on our next visit to the area.

Crispy potatoes, burrata, & prosecco.

If I could, I would give this place 4.5 stars. I've to Luca twice (so far) and had great experiences that fall just shy of 5 stars. 1st Experience: My friend and I had a reservation in the main dining area. The service was great, though the table ended up being very crowded with the two shareables and appetizers plates. We ordered two glasses of the prosecco, which was super refreshing and perfect for summer. For appetizers, we got the Crispy Potatoes and Burrata. The waitress suggested we get the Focaccia to go with the cheese, but we declined and the potatoes ended up being the perfect vessel. My favorite bite of the night was the shredded rhubarb, burrata, herb-sauce, crispy potato and aioli. Truly a phenomenal bite. For entrees, I got the Tagliatelle Bolognese. It was good, but not mind blowing. My friend got the Heritage Pork Crespelle, which was absolutely unreal. It was so good we forgot to take a picture. I would definitely choose a seasonal special next time instead of a menu staple, at least for the main course. Both of us left the restaurant on the verge of a food coma and we were both glad of our decision to not order the bread. The only thing that wasn't great was how uncomfortably warm the restaurant was. We were seated in the front near the patio and the only reprieve of heat happened when a server opened the door (it was 80 degrees outside). 2nd Experience: My friend and I found ourselves back at Luca for a second time in the same week. This time we opted for a more casual dinner with a reservation at the bar top. I stuck with the prosecco for the night; I simply cannot get enough of it. My friend ordered the Lambrusco Spritz and Monte Mule. She liked the Spritz better, but both were drinks were good. This time around, we stuck with the appetizer plates. We ordered the Burrata and Crispy Potatoes combination again. People are sleeping on this combo. We also ordered the Little Gems Salad. Lettuce with some sort of lemon-garlic dressing and parmesan cheese truly has no right being that good. I almost enjoyed the bar seating better, but I think it really boils down to liking the appetizers more than entrees, the restaurant being MUCH cooler in temperature, and personal preference.

Erin M.

Coming from an Italian food hotspot I'm always curious how Italian is other places. I stopped in for dinner on a business trip and was seated at the bar as it was a busy Sunday night. The bartender was attentive and helpful! I ordered the Sunday meatballs and they were very flavorful but I'd say a little over cooked. I also got a hot dessert cocktail which finished the meal perfectly!

Does anyone know if they offer a private dining option? Like a private room not for a group for 2 people?

I believe they do. You would need to call to see if the space to the left when you walk in is Available.

Is this place good for kids?

Yes you can bring kids, it's slightly on the fancy side but they have pizza and pasta. I took my 9 and 11 year old.…

Sounds like a dumb question but I have a hard time with open table Do I call the restaurant for reservation?…

I've called before and they've handled my reservation over the phone. You might have to call during dinner hours.

The tasting room is very comfortable and had plenty of seating for people on a Saturday night around 6. You can drop in for shopping (they offer all 50 of their wines in their bottle shop) or to hang out (they offer rotating flights, glasses of wine, and a build your own charcuterie board menu). I was there for the $30 tasting (which is by reservation only), which included five wines and a some snacks (some chips, some cheese, some olives, and some fresh preserves/jam). Bailey, their somm, took such great care of me throughout my tasting. He brought me a map of Italy and described each wine and the winemaker with incredible detail and insight. I enjoyed all of the wines and the snacks! I also left with a few bottles to enjoy later at home! I had a great time at Vine Bar. They're doing something very cool and different from other wine bars, and I'd love to return for another tasting or just to enjoy a glass of wine or two at the bar.

I tried the Stable 12 Fresh Picked Strawberry Lime sour beer ($7.50 for a 13 oz. pour). It was flavorful, slightly sweet, and a nice change from the usual beer options. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening. The space itself is very large, clean, open, and modern, with what appears to be a beautifully renovated warehouse-style design. The black-and-white color palette, exposed metal elements, and high ceilings create a contemporary industrial atmosphere that feels both inviting and spacious. Our most recent experience on 6/27 did not disappoint in any way and elevated our satisfaction. Megan C. was our server and she was dynamic as always. She takes time to listen, is attentive and knowledgeable. Other team members/supervisors were also friendly and were genuinely interested in feedback. For a restaurant to excel in all areas is rare. Harvest Seasonal Grill is one of the finest, and finer than some "fine dining" establishments. We enjoyed the Raspberry Yuzu Martini which was perfectly balanced. The sweet corn chowder will forever be remembered as being so delicious that we were glad we did not opt out of that since we knew we also wanted the Korean BBQ Pork Dumplings. Those were delicious with a zing of spice to keep it interesting but not be overbearing. My husband was very pleased with his Spicy Shrimp Noodle Bowl. He needed a bit more oomph and was brought siracha to please his palate. My Summer Beet Salad with added salmon was perfect, truly. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing but with lots of flavor. The peaches and beets were both fresh for the season. And a big delicious yes to the peanut butter chocolate dessert mini. It was the right size for us to share but selfishly we wanted more because the peanut butter mousse was whipped to perfection. The only bad thing for us is that the closest Harvest is about 30 minutes away in Lancaster. York desperately needs a Harvest for the consistent quality, seasonal flavors and overall high rating

From the outside it's extremely unassuming... but it's well labeled, so you can be confident you're in the right place. The inside looks as you'd like: spacious, clean, room to relax. As I was sitting inside, casually doing a tasting, I completely forgot we were in a strip mall. Well-done! An added bonus of the location: there are a LOT of good food choices nearby! The prices. Yowza! I did like some of the wines, but not enough to pay for the bottle (~$40). But I enjoyed a tasting ($10 for 4 tastings) and also ordered an extra glass of wine. They have 2 fixed tasting menus to choose from. I asked to switch out one of the wines for a different one, and that wasn't a problem at all. The customer service was nice. The woman was friendly and attentive, and not obtrusive or pushy. She was there when I wanted her, but was also content to let me sit, relax, and enjoy the wine. I love the ambience. There are a lot of tables and chairs, placed nicely around so you can enjoy your own space or have a nice drink with friends without being on top of each other. A wine bar of sorts. It's in a strip mall, but is quite large and nice inside with artwork and wine themed displays. It just seems like they are incredibly overwhelmed when we come in. I don't know if they need more staff or what. I'm going to focus more on the most recent visit. I called to make reservations (you are supposed to) and the woman who was working seemed shocked that I wanted to make same day reservations. However, she agreed. We went in and there was some sort of loud group in one of the rooms. At first she seemed very attentive to us. However, the amount of wine poured for the tastings this time was so small and that was shocking. When you get the local flavor deal, apparently you are supposed to get bigger pours (this is what she ended up telling us and what we've been told before) You also get goat cheese, crackers, etc. which are quite nice. Also, really, their wine isn't great. It's more for the experience it took us this many times to really realize it. Anyways, after the first second tasting, our server vanished for about 20ish minutes. She finally came back to give us our 3rd tasting (you get 4) and that was it for at least another 20ish minutes. All in all we spent about an hour and a half and that was because of all the wait times. Another couple came in and sat at the bar who didn't have the deal; it was obvious they were worth the attention more than us local flavor people. I really advise them to stop doing this deal. They get overwhelmed easily and I ended up feeling like I was hounding them to serve us. I wanted a glass of wine (an actual glass at the end) and my wife had to go up to the woman to ask for one for me. It was over 13.00. Not worth it... I'd rather go get a nice cocktail some place for that price. Inevitably, The local flavor deal is not even that great of a deal, particularly when you feel like you are being put on the back burner in favor of other customers. We won't be going back.

The murder mystery itself was the highlight, the storyline was engaging, and the actors were clearly well-trained in improv and very kind. Murder Mystery: 8/10 The room was fairly standard, what you'd expect in an old-timey house. No TV or modern extras, but there were plenty of charging outlets, which was appreciated. Room: 7/10 The food during the stay was incredibly disappointing. Most of it felt like reheated microwave meals. Breakfast included eggs, bacon (very thin, broken pieces), cubed potatoes that were oddly watery, ham slices, stale danishes, cereal cups, and a parfait option that had run out by our 9am time slot. Dinner was similar in quality. I chose the cheese ravioli, but despite being second in line, it was cold. The same watery potatoes from breakfast were served again, along with green beans. The only highlight was the coffee, which was good. Food: 2/10 Unfortunately, the parking situation is very poor. There are only 5-6 spots directly outside and a few more up the hill behind the carriage house. I was dropped off at check-in and informed staff that my boyfriend would be arriving late. I was assured there would be parking available and that staff would be present 24/7 to assist him. However, I woke up to a call from him saying he couldn't find parking. I went downstairs to get help, but no staff could be found. Not wanting to disturb other guests, I eventually gave up, and he had to park on the street in the neighborhood on top of the hill overnight. At breakfast, we were briefly told about additional parking behind the carriage house, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue from the night before, nor any attempt to make it right. Parking: 1/10 The staff overall seemed inexperienced and, at times, unprofessional. While I empathize with younger staff members, there were several uncomfortable moments--such as hearing an employee joke about "killing" another staff member over a small mistake, and staff walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to ask follow-up questions. Staff: 4/10 Overall, there were some enjoyable elements, especially the murder mystery, but the experience didn't quite match the price point. With a few key improvements, this could be a much more worthwhile stay.
