Lu Lu Coffee Cafe is easy to miss. Although it's located on a major street, it's tucked behind bushes and housed in a converted business, i know the busts and ivy are to give privacy but obscures the business. There's only 3 parking spaces do that also keeps the place inconvenient. The interior is absolutely charming, with a cozy nostalgic vibe. I especially loved the community wall where visitors can leave positive notes and messages, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the coffee, it was good but not particularly memorable. We ordered a latte and a Vietnamese coffee (their version), so it's not strong. Both the latte and ice coffee were enjoyable, but neither stood out The owners are such a kind and friendly couple that it's hard not like this place. While the coffee alone may not be enough to make me go out of my way for a return visit, I would happily stop by again to support this lovely local business and enjoy a cup in their cozy space.

Drawing and quotes on their table. Each piece has a story, each contributing to the wonderful community they've built.

I adore this coffeehouse along with the owners. They remember faces and names, always knowing how to make someone's day! I always order the Milk Tea Latte and the Nutella Croffle. When I'm feeling down this place becomes my safe space, a home away from home.

We tried this place on a whim because it is across the street from our vet and we were blown away by the Korean coffee!!! The second time we tried the bagels and they were so yummy! I crave the Korean coffee all the time it's the perfect amount of sweet and strong coffee flavor. The staff is so warm and genuinely kind every time we come. The inside is also super cute and inviting. Can't recommend this place enough!

The cold brew is not acidic or sour at all! It tastes almost like it needs to brew longer, because I wish it was a little stronger but it's great! The staff is super friendly here and there's plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. It's a home turned into a cafe, so it feels very much like you're a guest in their space. It's a cute place to study and I would come here again! I wish they didn't have a kiosk because I love talking to the team about the drinks and recommendations

Croffle bites with jam and Nutella. Crisp, light, airy and delicious!

Delicious!! Such a cute cafe with such awesome food and drinks. Great service from the cute couple running this cafe.

Found this cute little coffee shop recently so stopped by to get some work done on a random weekday. There's a super tiny lot on the side so most likely it will be full so you'll have to look for street parking. The space inside looks a bit like a house. They have a kiosk you can order from. There's a couple small tables as well as bigger communal tables. Restrooms are available as well. For the food, the bagels looked pretty good so I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and it did not disappoint! I also was intrigued by the Korean style coffee so I opted to get it at half sweet since they said it is on the sweeter side. I'm so glad I got it half sweet but it was perfectly well balanced and I really enjoyed it! Would definitely come back again.

Yum - great matcha latte and great service! Also beautifully set up space, very relaxing!

Rose L.

Really nice people, but they don't talk to you when you order (machine) so you don't know immediately. I got the lox bagel, cinnamon caramel croffle, and Madagascar vanilla coffee. They were all delicious, just the croffle was a bit too sweet for my Asian tastebuds. Beautiful inside seating and outside. We love the porch. Abundant lime tree outside, well manicured.

We're not from Fullerton, we're actually from Ventura county visiting for D23. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars is because we waited about 30 minutes for 2 drinks, but to be completely honest we couldn't be mad, we did see only 2 people working and it looked like the gentleman was the only person preparing the drinks soooo the drinks were so good! The place is sooo cute, reminded us of a coffee shop that we have back at home. Location was easy to find, the individuals working super nice! The woman was so apologetic and kept checking up on us, even took the time to explain why it was taking so long. But overall, great place to visit, the coffee and matcha so good! If you're in a hurry maybe order pick up but if you have the time in the world check it out and enjoy their super homey place. If I'm ever town again, this will definitely be a spot to come and buy more coffee.

Ciera T.

Peaceful hidden gem with respectful and kind service and great coffee/food! This place can be a little hard to find, but there are a few parking spots directly out front or street parking in nearby neighborhoods. Ordering is easy through a kiosk, with lots of options for customizations such as sweetness levels. They accept Apple Pay and prices were fair but I would say a bit on the higher side for certain food. However quality and taste justify the pricing and supporting local buisnesses is always a plus. There are also plenty of fair pricing options if you are looking to stay under a certain amount. Milk alternatives are extra. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and service was amazing. Items ordered were delivered right to me at a table and staff held the door open. Such a great place with a calm and peaceful energy. Nice area to get some work done or catch up with friends.

Lu Lu Coffee is a coffee shop located on Commonwealth in Fullerton. They have a variety of lattes, teas, espresso drinks, bagels, croffles, decaffeinated Korean sweetened fruity teas, unsweetened loose leaf teas, cakes, crepes, and coffee beans. I ordered the Iced Madagascar Vanilla Latte. It was excellent! Ran down smooth with perfect balance of vanilla and coffee flavor. Coffee was super strong as my heart catapulted through the roof but it was still enjoyable. Service was super warm and friendly. I was greeted upon entry and told to order on the tablet and to let them know if I have any questions. I signed up for rewards but couldn't exit the screen to get to the next step. Another barista ended up helping me exit the screen and then I was able to continue my order from there. Once I placed my order, I was asked if I wanted it hot or iced. Within a few minutes, my drink was handed to me and was thanked for my order. Comfy and cozy atmosphere with nice decor. The exterior and interior is pretty much like a home. A few dining tables inside with a lot of mementos under the glass top. I couldn't say the environment was serene as one of the patrons was talking on their phone loudly but I was there to grab and go anyway. There's also seating outside. Excellent Madagascar Vanilla Latte with super warm service. Will be back for another visit!

First timer! I loved the little experience here From the server helping us choose the right coffee to having a delicious sweet and savory treat to share. We had a nice slow morning over coffee playing games and it wasn't loud at all, perfect to chat about all the good things happening in life.

Tayla C.

I had the sweetest experience at Lulu Coffee! This place is so cute and cozy, you can really feel the love the owners put into it. They were interacting with so many regulars, remembering faces and going out of their way to be thoughtful. I even saw them add extra fruit for a couple to share, which was such a small but meaningful touch. I ordered a matcha and a vanilla iced coffee both were really good, but the matcha was definitely my favorite. Super smooth and flavorful! Overall, the vibe, the care for customers, and the quality drinks make this spot stand out. I'll definitely be back especially for that matcha

This morning after dropping my girls at school I decided to treat my self to a coffee. I had always driven by LuLu's coffee house. (yes it is actually a house, an old 1920's craftsman style house). So walk i and the Owner LuLu and the Barista both call out a cheerful greeting to me in Korean, it was like I'd came to the Korean version of the Bar in Cheer's from the TV show. They have an electronic ordering system and LuLu herself stopped what she was doing in the kitchen to help me order. I tried at her suggestion, the Korean coffee. It was just right not too hot but definitely delicious! I also has a cream cheese begal, also delicious and tasty. Sitting in the House, eating my begal and enjoying the delicious coffee was wonderful. In the end all I can say is This is a place where you can go where they are always glad you came and everything is delicious. read more

Such a cute and quiet little coffee shop I'm so happy I fell upon this shop because I'm not big into larger coffee spots that are just crowded and loud. This place was definitely my type and I was able to sit down and get some work done. The coffee itself was good I think maybe a little expensive but that's ok because the location is what made me happy! read more

Got an iced americano for $4.25. Good price for 2024! Coffee got the job done. This place is a hidden gem. I live in the neighborhood & I didn't know it was here. The vibes inside were quiet while I was there. Felt like a good place to work or study. There are some good tables & seating inside to get stuff done. There is seating outside as well, but these days it's pretty hot out there, even in the shade. Workers were very friendly & welcoming. read more

BEST COFFEE BAR EVER! I live close by and this is my go-to place to get some work done, and enjoy some amazing drinks, food, and company. Tim and Ophelie are so awesome--so nice, caring, and best service. They create a great vibe all day at Lu Lu. They have very fast and free WiFi, plenty of tables inside and on the back outdoor patio. One of my new favorite cozy spots in SoCal and I'm so very glad I found it! Notice to coffee shop owners: PLEASE add more spots like this. We're in dire need of cozy, comfortable coffee places to work, read, and study that don't feel too monochrome or like we're assembling in a factory! Lu Lu really is a gem. Easy ordering process, a fantastically nice crew, quiet, comfortable, decorated with local art and cards, and a nice little variety of food and drink items. I got the customizable matcha latte and it was perfect, along with a jam bagel. Both hit the spot and I was able to happily get work done and enjoy my time. I'll absolutely be back! The bread was soft and fluffy, the cheese was good, and the pepperoni had a lot of flavor. For pastries, we all tried something different. One of us got the cookie dough chocolate croissant, another got the crème brûlée croissant, and I got the churro croissant. My churro croissant was so good and I loved the cinnamon sugar on it. The pastries were definitely one of my favorite parts. For drinks, we got a banana pudding matcha, an iced chai latte, and another iced drink. The banana pudding matcha was super unique and looked so good, and the chai was really good too. The cafe itself was also really cute and a nice place to sit, eat, and get some work done. Everything looked so pretty and there were so many things I wanted to try. I would definitely come back and try more of their pastries and drinks!

They were all really pretty though but I didn't end up ordering anything else. The matcha einspanner ($7.80) less sweet though? BEAUTIFUL. She is beauty she is grace. I'm really glad I lowered the sugar because it was perfect for me just slightly sweet matcha + full richness and sugar from original cream top. There's so many fake, weak matchas nowadays and this was just the best one I've had in a really long time. It doesn't try too hard to be showy or fancy or anything either. Just good matcha and a good cream top. Good ratio of milk, cream, everything. Super respectable shade of green and you can taste the matcha. It was mixed well and was nice and smooth. I really liked it!!

Really cool decor, plenty to look at, and the pastry case immediately had me wanting to order way more than I needed. I tried Turkish coffee for the first time and that stuff is STRONG. If you need a serious caffeine boost, this is definitely the move. I also tried the iced Qamaria Latte and iced Pistachio Latte. Both were good, but the pistachio was easily my favorite. Creamy, slightly sweeter, and just more my style. The surprise of the visit was the strawberry dragon fruit refresher. I almost didn't order it because I was there for coffee, but I'm glad I did. Super refreshing and I'd absolutely get it again. For food, DO NOT skip the honeycomb. They warm it up and drizzle it with honey, and each little section has cheese inside. Easily one of my favorite things I tried. The chicken pastry was another surprise and ended up being incredible. Finished with the mango cheesecake because I pretty much can't say no to anything mango. Really fun cafe experience and I'm glad I stopped in. Definitely coming back!

Peaceful Coffee Haven, Hidden Gem in Fullerton This little coffee shop on E Commonwealth Ave is a true gem! The moment I walked in, I was struck by its serene atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle and get some work done. The quiet was so profound, I almost thought it was closed! I ordered an espresso, and while the taste was a bit acidic for my preference, the overall experience was fantastic. The staff was friendly, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to relax. There's also a lovely garden outside where you can enjoy your coffee. If you're looking for a peaceful coffee shop in Fullerton, I highly recommend giving this place a try." read more

Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Thank you New Here!

But fear not, you can go into the structure, park in one of the "employee only" spots, and just tell them which spot and you're golden (wish I knew that before I came and parked across the street). Also, another reason why this place is great is that it's not full at all. Might be because of the parking situation, but the place is near empty which makes it have a nice luxury vibe. Their Vanilla Thesis drink at 50% sweet is soooo good. It's a great blend of coffee and tastes great. You can totally taste the vanilla. Their ham and cheese croissant is also great.

All three options were delicious and the espresso in the bicerin and arancia were pleasant. The shots didn't leave any strange aftertastes in the mouth or taste overly extracted; it's an issue I've noticed with other shops I've visited, unfortunately. The matcha coco had a strong coconut flavor that we didn't expect. The coconut water had a stronger flavor similar to coconut milk, so it's great for coconut lovers! The only thing holding me back from trying them earlier is because they're open from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Anyways, it's located behind Pacific Drive Elementary school off of Valencia and Basque so make sure you make that turn on Basque or else you have to make a u-turn in a busy street. Here's what I've tried so far: **Bee's Knees Latte (Iced): Got it less sweet with oat milk. Wasn't my favorite drink overall. I wanted to play it safe and get it less sweet but since they make their syrups in-house, they're already less sweet which is great. I could taste every distinct flavor from the honey, vanilla, and cinnamon, but they were too weak overall. Next time, I'd try the drink with regular sweetness and maybe add an extra shot or two. (3/5) **Espresso Tonic: Solid ET. Their espresso has a very nice balance of flavor and the touch with tonic water was great. Easily one of the best ETs I've ever had. (5/5) **Cold Brew: Very solid CB. This is what they recommended on my second visit and it did not disappoint. Creating a good CB is hard to master but they clearly know what they're doing. (5/5) During my first visit a few weeks ago, I arrived on a Tuesday around noon and it seemed like they were busy with regulars ordering a few drinks each which is always a good sign. I was greeted immediately by Ashley and Emiliano even though they were both preoccupied with various tasks along with keeping a conversation going with their regulars. They instantly struck up a conversation and I felt like I was immediately part of their friend group. I'm generally an introverted guy but the vibe was very nice from the get-go. My second visit was this past Monday right before noon with my mom. My mom's first language isn't English and she generally stays quiet but the moment we entered again, they greeted me by name and struck up a conversation with my mom. That's definitely great customer service going above and beyond which is a lost art these days. Anyways, they listened to my feedback with my drinks during my first visit and insisted I try their Cold Brew which was a great choice! I generally don't order CBs anymore because of the disappointed I'm usually met with but I was impressed by theirs. Ashley and Emiliano are truly a gem. I 100% support Roaming Glory and you should try them out soon. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu. RG has easily become one of my favorite places to get coffee.
