Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The guac and salsa were both equally great and the garlic parm fries were incredible. The place is really cool with an old but modern vibe. Service is great. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The one complaint I have is that we dined upstairs and it got hot up there, much hotter than downstairs. We've visited several times before on date nights, and this was a first with the family. We had 6 in our group for Father's Day. We arrived at 11 when they opened, and I'm glad they did! it's super popular, especially with the holiday. They were very attentive and accommodating for our group. 5 of the 6 of us have gluten allergies and no issues ordering or getting safely prepared food. It was fantastic too. I love this place. Over all the food is great, although the service can vary from time to time. Which is understandable since it's a large restarting with lots of servers. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Turkey Burger (well done.) The garlic parm fries with some "house" sauce is wonderful and their coleslaw is the best I've ever had. Awesome drink options although quite pricey. I do not recommend going here when they are crowded - the flaws in their service are accentuated enormously. I'd recommend sitting upstairs - it's more comfortable, less crowded and less loud. I am writing this review from very far from LSA. I am in Boston. My son is about to start college at UNT in scenic Denton, and LSA is one of the bright spots in what is going to be a hard transition for me. The burgers at LSA are creative, well-made, and really interesting. There are specialty burgers and interesting add-ons, but your best guides are probably the servers. In my multiple visits during school selection and then orientation, they have had great ideas about substituting this and that, and have created even more tasty permutations. The vibe is eclectic and a little funky. The beer is varied and cold. The seating is on two levels, and runs from casual tables to an expansive bar, to outdoor hightops. I recommend upstairs outside at night and on days when the Denton sun isn't baking everything to a dusty light grey. Make sure you ask about the copperhead lode. A great addition for the spice lovers among you. read more

There is no denying that their food is delicious, but I would not recommend going here if you are taking precautions around COVID. In fact, had we not been there for my brother-in-laws birthday, I would have turned around and left. The outside tables were being sat extremely close together, less than 2 feet apart. Some of the staff were wearing little plastic face shields that barely covered their nose - not masks - where any spit, etc., could easily escape. Our waitress continuously pulled down her mask to speak to us - completely unnecessary - making all of us very uncomfortable and negating the entire point oof wearing a mask to begin with. Lastly, shared condiments were on the table. I very much enjoyed the food, but think people should be aware of how seriously a restaurant is taking the COVID precautions before dining out. read more

They do have a slightly modified menu right now so my go to crab cake sandwich is no longer available. This place really stood out with the indoor and roof dining and we were dying for burgers. LSA has really unique burgers. I had the "Stevie". Blue cheese, bacon, and franks hot sauce. OMG. Great combination especially the hit sauce. The rest of the family, including my dad, really thought the burgers were Fantastic! We also got the garlic parmesean fries which we devoured!! Service: Super friendly and pretty staff! Very attentive! Place: Cool hip and definitely the coed college vibe. Its so popular it get crowded. We at around 3pm and had to wait about 15min for a table for 6. Be patient its worth it. Value: About average burger price but i think the burgers are better than average and the reason i gave it the full 5 stars. My husband had the Our Buddy, and I had the Stevie. We've definitely had better burgers from McDonalds and Whattaburger, and didn't pay over $40 for a meal there. There was literally no flavor to the meat, and the whole sandwich just looked slapped together.
