I dropped the car off with 1/2 tank of gas, when I picked it up three weeks later the tank was nearly empty on reserve. The owner said the car was idling for the two hours he was working on it and test drove the car for 28 miles. 1/2 tank of gas will drive 150+ miles in my car. It takes me 3 weeks to use 1/2 tank with regular driving. The radiator fan is still blowing at top speed it's clear that he didn't even look at that problem. Hopefully the other work was done but I won't know until I have driven the car regularly over a period of time since the warnings only come on with regular driving. I want to sell the car and so will not be driving it at all from now on after it is detailed aside from the occasional test drive. The owner offered to refill my gas if I brought the car to him refusing to CashApp the money instead to prevent more miles going on the odometer. The total time spent working on my car was 2 hours taking 3 weeks to complete. I now have had to source a mobile mechanic to fix the radiator fan problem. I was charged $439.00 for this unprofessional lack of service. Unfortunately I paid cash and so can't recover anything through a credit card company. Im a senior on a very low fixed income so $439 is a fortune to me. Now I must pay more to have another mechanic address the radiator fan problem. My recommendation is to avoid this shop like the plague!

Of course I dropped by to check out the place prior to making my decision. I wanted to make sure Tim wasn't packing a loaded gun as one post mentioned.I was impressed with the place as I took a tour. Tim seemed like a strait shooter- I was convinced they had the right stuff to fix my truck. It turned out to be a broken axle, instead of the tranny. They kept me updated on the progress... I needed to come by and grab a tool from my truck while it was up on the lift and they were very accommodating. Harold, who was doing the work was very pleasant and helpful, showing me the broken parts etc. The various front office staff were pleasant. My truck was finished in a timely manner. The bill seemed reasonable ( expensive repair? Of course it was expensive! its a transmission/powertrain shop, but I know it was done right). I'd give them my business again... After the money cleared they said they'd mail it. Three weeks of complete silence later I called. Some bitter woman at the front desk swore she'd email it "immediately." 48 hours later -- still nothing. Called again and got the owner, Tim Tapper. He played stupid for a minute, then muttered, "Well, it takes me a long time to fill those out." You could hear him sounding out words like a slow child while he talked. They never filled the warranty out. Not a single word of it. They took the money, lied to my face, and spent an entire month gaslighting me because the owner is too lazy, too dishonest, and too incompetent to complete a one-page document. These people are morally bankrupt, thoroughly unethical, and as worthless as a cup of cold piss. Absolute bottom-of-the-barrel operation. Do not give them a single dollar. Absolute garbage operation.
