This shop is absolutely the place to go for repairs!! I was in a bind because of my drive shaft, and they took care of me immediately and kept me informed with my repairs. They definitely live up to their name, A-Affordable transmission :). The dealership was going to be super expensive and was referred to them by an independent mechanic. Best choice I could have made. Kenzie is an absolute charm and super polite (love her). The Mechanics are very knowledgeable, super friendly and know their stuff. The whole crew is AMAZING and couldn't be happier with the whole experience. read more

Every few years you find a business that goes well beyond what is expected. Had an issue beyond their control and they did an amazing job taking care of it. The absolute highest standard of integrity. You are in great hands dealing with these wonderful folks. read more

Dave and the whole crew at A-Affordable has been awesome to us. Have used them for a few different issues, and each time I have felt satisfied in their work, in no small part because they stand behind their work. Our minivan needed a new transmission at the beginning of 2021, and they were able to work through an option that worked for us financially. Not only that, but a bit later when something weird started happening, they stood behind their work and helped us track it down (turns out in addition to the transmission itself there was also an issue with the electrical connections going from the computer to the transmission). Some shops would have just said "not our problem, sorry", but they went above and beyond to make things work and get our van back on the road. This will definitely be my go-to place for any future transmission work I might need for any other vehicles we get. read more

After price checking with a few dealers and other similar transmission specialists, these people were, BY FAR, the LEAST expensive for replacing the clutch in my 2008 Porsche 911!! Well... it's actually a 2008 Subaru Outback, but it FELT like a Porsche, when I left their parking lot! The closest competition, I could find, would've been a MINIMUM of $500 MORE, and that's if it only required a REPAIR, rather than a NEW clutch. Combining that with a perfectly accurate cost and time estimate over the phone, as well as, nothing but stellar customer service, left me completely amazed. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Jeep was in limp mode with a check engine code indicating that the conductor plate was the culprit. Dave was quick to respond to my initial inquiry, walking me through his thoughts on the issue, outlining the work to be done, and giving me a price estimate that was very reasonable. I was able to bring the car in the next day, and pick it up the following day. I will be bringing the car back in 10 days for a check up as well. I really appreciate the transparency, the communication, and the speed of service and would recommend this shop to anyone in need of transmission work! read more

Dave was a amazing. Ran a full diagnostic at no charge and when we figured out it was not the transmission he referred to a great mechanic. Highly recommend to go here for any transmission work. read more

So i had just bought a new car and the Transmission Temp light went on as we were on our way to the hospital. I was scared that i had just bought a lemon so the next morning i looked through yelp to check out transmission places and found this one close to where i live. So i called in and was impressed with the customer service went in and dropped the car of they said it would be ready in 3-5 hours and was impressed they where done in less than 2 hrs! When i went in to pick up. I felt confident that my car was taken care of. He explained everything so well and assured us of the problem the car had. Very knowledgeable!! Overall the experience was great and easy! A+++ read more

It's been a few years since I used their services (2009 or 2010), but they were great! I had an 86 Nissan Stanza that was an automatic and would not shift out of first. After dealing with a nationally know outfit that starts with Aa on a different vehicle, I feared they were going to tell me it would cost thousands to fix. It was like a Christmas miracle when I was told it was just a small piece inside the tranny and $250 later the little Nissan was running great!! I'm going to be calling them on Monday for an issue with our 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee being slow to shift. Im praying for the same exceptional experience! read more

A-Affordable Transmissions was recommended to me by a co-worker when the transmission died on my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. Very fair pricing. Also, the technicians are very friendly, helpful, and professional. Dave went above and beyond for customer service. I will gladly recommend them! read more

Wow! Where do I start? I was running errands one morning. When I tried to put the car in reverse, the gear shift wouldn't budge. I pressed harder on the brake and jiggled the shifter with no luck. I got online with my smartphone and tried to find service centers around that would know what was going on with my car. With that info, I checked yelp to see if they had bad/good reviews. A affordable transmission was one of them among many and was close to where I broke down. So called and Randy was very helpful as to what the problem might be. I had my car towed there. They diagnosed the problem and ordered a part which took a few days to get there. The problem was a part in my shifter needed to be replaced. It couldn't have gone any more smooth. When the car was done, it wasn't hundreds of dollars like I was thinking. It was pretty reasonable for the parts and labor. Under $250. I will come back to these guys if I ever have an issue with my transmission. They were definitely A+ in customer service! read more

Very courteous and professional. Performed a thorough diagnostic service free of charge. We thought there was an issue and being a very honest business explained to us that the transmission was fine and when in the mountains the computer was compensating for the altitude adjustments. Highly recommend! read more

Outstanding service provided! Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, I heard about them and after speaking to them and hearing they would do a free diagnosis I payed for a tow truck to bring my truck to them. My truck had broken down and left me stranded, I had no idea what was wrong with it. All I knew is that it would not come out of park. That same day they diagnosed it and were able to find the problem. They quickly fixed the issue and got me back on the road. They're very professional and their customer service is the best. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to solve any transmission issues! read more

Had transmission issues wouldn't shift on my corvette. Dropped it off and Dave, the owner, called me later that day and let me know it was only a bolt. He fixed it and didn't charge me anything. Good man. We trust what they say and this was a good example of an honest trustworthy business. Thank you Dave. read more

Theses guys were friendly and new their stuff. I told them my problem and told them that I thought it maybe my transmission. After having it go through some tests, a test drive and fill it with transmission oil, they had me come back and they told me they were not sensing anything really wrong. I drove the car, with one of the guys in it and he said that what I was thinking was slipping was actually something totally different. It wasn't slipping and what I was experiencing was actually normal and they took the time to explain it to me. My car is a 2003 and if I still have it when the transmission goes out, I know where I'm taking it . thank you guys read more

The techs here are so helpful and nice! They explain everything to you and show you exactly what is wrong on your car. Highly recommend them! read more

So since again people, this is the BEST repair shop in Colorado, I had my trany rebuild 03/19 best job ever, but it started leaking, so I call Dave(very wonderful person) and told me to bring my truck in for a inspection, I dropped off my truck Tuesday morning and calls me later, tells me my trany has to be removed again because of the leak(my warranty expired in March and this is July) but he told me they are going to take care of the leak, PERIOD?? I said What? and he told me NO charge at all? You'll get are truck back by Friday OK, he calls me Thursday morning and tells me my truck is to be pickup(what?!?) so I want to the shop and gives me my truck keys, he told me they do repair work to last NOT to fail, I work for a Major Rental Company and I will recommend this Transmission Shop all my Customers, so again THANK YOU very much, GOD bless Dave/Owner and the Team, keep up your OUTSTANDING work, Please be safe. read more

I had my 2011 impala's transmission rebuilt by these idiots. 2500 miles after the rebuild I was backing out of my drive way when the Transmission locked up tight returned it to these guy's only because it was under warranty, they said something inside shattered. Got the car back and seemed too be working fine except every now and the it would make a loud popping sound returned it too them several times, I soon found out. 2000 miles after the 2nd rebuild I was driving at 35 mph when the cross member that holds the rack and pinion in place, fell completely out leaving me with no steering when I hit the break because the R& P had fallen it immediately sent me into on coming traffic. The reason everything fell was because these idiots didn't secure the bolts holding the cross member in place. Please beware of these morons. They wound up having to replace both hubs and c/v axles and had the nerve too want too charge me for it. After me talking with the C E O the manager/owners son changed his mind. P.S less than 20000 miles later and it is leaking like a sieve. read more

Contacted this place based off google reviews Figured I'd give them a shot!!! Call these guys told the issue I was having. Spoek with Randle really nice guy over the phone. Explained to him what I thought. Dropped off the car next day. The next day diagnosed the issues and quoted me a price of $125 for 4 quart tranny fluid and needed new transmission lines replaced. Also; told me (Which i was aware of already) need a new front end replaced. 1992 Toyota Camry had the factory front end. After 220,000 Mileage it was time. Quoted me $40 lower than the place I was planning on going. Total fix $565.15. Well worth the price and honesty I'd buy anytime. These guys are hands down the best shop since moving to Colorado. To bad their not a complete repair shop they might be the very best in the City! Ask for Randle he'll take care of you! Never felt pressured or taken advantage of. Great Place!!! read more

I was getting a chirp sound from my vehicle and these guys fixed it! It did take them a few tries at it but they made it right with me and they fixed it! I can't say enough how happy I am with them, they stood behind their work. It is hard to find a shop you can trust these days. I will definitely come back for any drive train work I need done, I highly recommend them! read more

Randy and his custormer service was great. We had a major trany oil leak. It ends up that a metal hose had come loose. They reattached the hose, replenished oil and checked the transmission ... all at no cost! This is our second time doing business with A-Affordible and both times have been real good. read more

The guys over at Affordable Transmission are excellent, hands down. I was having problems with my transmission and had the warning symbol for it light up. I took my car into another shop first, and they told me I needed a new transmission. The price that they quoted me to fix it equaled just about the trade in value of my entire car and they charged me for just even taking a look at it. Feeling defeated, I went online and read all the great reviews about Affordable transmission so I took my car to their 84th st. location for a second opinion. Randall answered the phone immediately, let me drop it off within the next hour, and personally called me back two hours later with a diagnosis. They could fix it for a quarter of the price of the other place and went into great detail with me about the problem and how they had diagnosed it. Also, free diagnosis with no charge! Bottom line - Excellent service, honest, friendly people, that truly seem like they care and want to help you out. There are so many shady mechanic shops out there and this definitely IS NOT one of them. Can't say it any better than that and I will be returning here with all my cars forever! read more

I had just bought a used SUV and about a month after having it the transmission began to whine and make a grinding sound. The first place I took it to misdiagnosed my problem and really didn't have good customer service. I then found A Affordable and called them for a second opinion. From my very first phone call Devin gave exceptional customer service. After dropping off my SUV they quickly diagnosed my problem and we started the work. From start to finish Devin always took the time to explain everything and didn't brush me off like some places do. The work was more complicated than we originally thought and took longer than planned. But in their defense, things were a lot more complicated than the eye could see. Through it all Devin kept working hard to get everything just right and never left me out of the loop. He went above and beyond to help me. I greatly appreciate all of his hard work and will always go to Devin from now on. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their stellar customer service, hard work, and honesty. read more
