Advance HOA Management - Ceiling stains from the roof leak this past June, because ZERO maintenance has been done on the roof since November 2021

However, I was…read moreabandoned by the management company AND our Board of Directors when I had a basement ceiling leak last year. They didn't even come out to look at. Turns out the leak came from a chimney pan that wasn't caulked correctly. The roofing company that had repaired it the year before was great and covered all my expenses & repairs. BUT NOW, I have a mark on my insurance (even though it was a zero claim) that is costing me $400 more a year because my HOA didn't come out, look and help me for more than 3 weeks.

GARBAGE HOA! My husband and I were renting a condo in a complex that went through several HOA's and…read morethen this one. All of them were pretty bad and Advance HOA was no exception. Terrible communication (IF you're lucky enough to get any notice at all!) including signs posted at the last minute saying you can't park in your assigned spot for xyz reason and if you do you'll be towed, then changes in schedule so you've moved your car to the street for nothing, then no notification about when the rescheduled work will be done, etc. etc. Not long before we left, we contacted Advance HOA Mgmt regarding putting up a small removable wire fence (the kind you stick in the ground around your flower beds, costs like $20) because the neighbor's dog kept coming onto our patio and being chased by said neighbor, who was an unstable person we didn't want around. After explaining the situation to the HOA, they said we'd need to fill out an ARCHITECTURAL PERMIT FORM -- for a freaking wire fence you poke into the ground! The form was ridiculous: it asked for dimensions, time needed for construction (!), BLUEPRINTS, the whole nine yards. Most of it was totally irrelevant. Then we had to submit it and wait THIRTY (30) DAYS for a response, while the board and whoever "voted" on it. Okay, I get that if you're actually rebuilding your patio/balcony or constructing a gazebo or something, but come on. As it turns out, over the next month we found a new home and moved out, not once ever hearing back on the "decision" regarding the wire fence. Lack of communication is by far the biggest issue with Advance HOA Management, but there are many more, too many to waste my time writing about here. Good riddance.

We always paid our…read moreapproved extra escrow accounts on May, June, and July on the first of each month, of each year for many years, by Bill Pay electronically from our bank. Not due until the 15th. Now that they are leaving, all of the sudden we are getting an overdue bill for each month. We checked our bank and they called home office, Their transactions cleared on the 1st of those months. I believe since in my opinion that Hammersmith Management withheld the transactions charge late fees since they are leaving CandlewycK Condos on East Mississippi Ave. I have tried to contact on management and main management office in Englewood. No responses on wrong doings. In my opinion, this is illegal. I filed complaint with BBB and Colo. State Attorney. I want to warn any other people of any other communities that I dont believe Hammersmith Management Company Inc. is honest, in my opinion. Clint Vetor

Historically, my wife has handled most communication with Hammersmith when issues arise. She has often mentioned how difficult it is to get a response from the management company after leaving several voicemails and sending several emails to Hammersmith, but until recently--when I personally had to reach out--I did not fully understand the level of frustration she had been experiencing. Unfortunately, my experience has confirmed her concerns. Over the past month, I have attempted to contact Hammersmith numerous times by phone. Despite calling multiple times per day and leaving several voicemails requesting a return call, I have only been able to reach a live person one time. At one point, I even began counting the number of unanswered calls aloud in a voicemail simply to emphasize the lack of response and my growing frustration. To this day, I am still waiting for a return call. Given this experience, I was honestly surprised to see that Hammersmith currently holds a 3.6 rating. Based on the communication issues I have encountered, that rating seems unexpectedly high. If someone from Hammersmith actually reads and responds to these reviews, I would sincerely appreciate a call back. It would be impressive to know that someone took the time to listen to one of the many voicemails I have already left--each containing my contact information--rather than requiring me to provide it yet again. More importantly, I would like to know how this communication breakdown is going to be addressed and corrected moving forward. Residents deserve a management company that is accessible and responsive when assistance is needed, especially when part of their job is to work with their customers availability. I truly feel for the customers of Hammersmith who may be experiencing the same frustrations with communication and lack of responsiveness.

A few months ago, I reported that the railing on the stairs to the front door had rusted through and broken. I sent photographs and described how the broken railing posed a safety risk and requested that they fix or replace it. Nothing happened to fix the railing. I spoke with Danny, the individual responsible for managing the complex. Nothing happened to fix the railing. Whenever I called back, he was unavailable. Finally, I spoke with Ron, Danny's supervisor, and a few days later the rail was welded. A few days after that the weld failed, and the rail was once again not attached and posed a safety risk. I called again. The woman who answered the phone told me I needed to put in an online work order request. After some discussion, she was very nice and told me that she had put in a work order for me. Nothing happened. I called back and spoke with Danny, who told me the work order was never put into the system. He submitted a new work order and informed me that someone would be out on October 28, to fix the rail. Predictably, on October 28, nothing happened. It is now November 6, and I have called multiple times since October 28. I still have no idea when or if they will fix the railing. It should not take 10 phone calls to get a broken stairway railing fixed. this is a safety issue, especially with snowy weather approaching, and failure to address the problem after 10 phone calls is malfeasance.

I called about it and was told I can submit a request to the board and possibly have it waived. I made three calls a few weeks ago to confirm the payment amount for 2023 and to get information on my payment history. The lady in accounting department put me on hold for 35 minutes and I had to call back to remind her I was still on hold. She said her computer was causing problems. I sent a detailed email request to the community manager to find out if the board ever responded to my request as well as to get my payment history. No response! Are my requests reasonable? How does Cherry Creek HOA get paid? Who's doing the paying? Is this the way you want to run a business?

His partner displays their ignorance by writing a page trying to re-spin facts that are backed up by the document posted below. Our HOA hired WestWork 1 1/2 yrs ago, but they still don't post our minutes for months, & threatened to charge us to put them in order. Sean didn't know tree trimmers hadn't come for a year. He didn't do anything about the landscaping co not removing dead shrubs and replanting, or pulling out the wrong shrubs. So we have large empty areas. Sean didn't know our elections must be in person, so they sent out mail ballots AND the wrong directions! They never sorted out our water bill in 18 months!
