Our son has been at Crestmoor since he was a year old when we started him there part-time and the owners/director helped us transition him to full time. He has been there 3 years and loves it! Crestmoor is run by a very loving and attentive mother/daughter team with the help of their dedicated director who's way with kids is phenominal! The teachers/group leaders we have had (as our son has graduated up to each classroom) have been nurturing, caring, fun, patient, and experienced. It shows when our son comes home with artwork, numbers/letters practices, projects and is often singing songs he learned, some even in Spanish. He was counting to 100 in his 2's and at 3 has been writing Mom and Dad and even part of his name! Crestmoor is not just a daycare it's a home away from home! read more

I cannot say enough good things about CLC. I live three blocks away and would always pass it taking my kids to another center in Park Hill. My son was dealing with all kinds of behavioral issues at his other school, huge classroom and was constantly coming home with serious incident reports (head hit on a metal bar after being pushed off the play-set, cut my scissors in between his fingers, etc). I decided he needed a smaller school so went to CLC and soooo wish I had made this decision years ago. My two kids are so loved here, they bounce out of the house to go to school, my son's behavior was changed for the better in almost a month, my daughter is thriving. They really go above and beyond for each and every single child. Couldn't recommend this center more! Good pricing. Food served. Fun water play and park days. Constantly coming home with fun projects. Love this place! read more

This review is LONG overdue. Our oldest son has been attending Crestmoor since he was 7 weeks old and our youngest since he was 10 weeks. This is a small, family-owned center that really does feel like an extension of your family. The teachers are creative, compassionate, and absolutely fantastic with the children. My oldest has been enrolled in their Spanish Immersion program since he was 2.5 years old and I'm amazed every day by his expanding vocabulary and comprehension. Over the last 3.5 years, we have seen this center grow, in terms of curriculum and staffing, thanks to Molly. Their teacher to child ratio is far lower than the state average, which provides a thriving learning environment for my kids. We love that our children are not a number here, and that everyone (including the cooks in the kitchen) know who they are. For us, a smaller, caring child care center has been an amazing experience. Our family has been so happy with the care that our son has received while at Crestmoor Learning Center. He has been on track developmentally and socially. The teachers have such great personalities, big hearts, and give excellent care. We are sad to have to move to a new town as we will miss everyone at Crestmoor. We highly recommend them! read more

This is a small, family-run center that really feels like a family! Our son loves it here and has been well taken care of the last few years. I cannot say enough good things about this center. As much as we love Crestmoor, we briefly transferred our son to another facility closer to work when my wife switched jobs. It was a night and day difference. We begged Crestmoor to take us back. Not all facilities are the same and I cannot imagine another one that could provide the level of attention and, yes, love that Crestmoor gives our son. He is so happy to see his teachers every single day. Even the lunch lady comes out every morning to give him a hug. Plus, even at his young age (1 1/2) he is doing crafts, learning ABCs, and having amazing experiences. They truly care about him and it shows. My child has attended CLC for a little over a year. Please do not judge this book by it's cover! The outside of the building is a bit dated and run-down, but the staff and the environment they create once you walk in the door is absolutely wonderful. The teachers and staff genuinely care about ALL the kids in that building, and they manage to strike that perfect balance of fun and learning. The building security is great and I feel safe leaving my kiddo there all day. The catering company they hire to make the kids' lunches does a really good job - lots of variety and very healthy meals. I highly recommend this day care/preschool to anyone looking. read more

Crestmoor is a fantastic childcare and preschool, owned and run by two of the kindest-hearted ladies I have ever met in childcare. Both of my daughters have attended there, and my oldest just graduated from the pre-school program in May. I also worked there, so I know from experience the true genuine essence and positive direction of the school. The facility is warm and homey, with a separate classroom for each age level, which is important. Teachers are encouraged highly to be creative in engaging children's imaginations, while also expanding their intellect. Older kids at Crestmoor are also engaged in frequent field trips and taking walks for additional fun! We love Crestmoor and feel so lucky to be a part of their family! read more
