Could not agree more with Jose M Sandy is the worst!!! Keep in mind I was desperate because the A/R person that was assigned didn't respond to 2 emails and 2 voicemails Even the way she says her name on voicemail is scary. She doesn't seem to understand that MSI changed their payment processing and MSI didn't process our payment on time and I was asking for assistance to get the ridiculous and unwarranted late/penalty fees adjusted as well as ensuring that it wouldn't happen again. She was immediately defensive, blamed usps even though I have proof that our check was received and deposited on first of month and then basically hung up on me! WTH? The worst. My neighbor had a plumbing issue and instead of calling the 5 others in the building to alert us of the issue, Robyn, sent an email-- for a plumbing emergency. And then she implied blame and begins the email "When you run water down your kitchen sink it is backing up into Unit B's sink and overflowing." I maybe check my email once a day. My poor neighbor had to call the emergency number and then knock on my door at 10pm - waking me up - all because they can't pick up the phone. This lack of communication caused more damage to the unit. Horrible. read more

Called to take care of a bill discrepancy only to have the customer service rep get defensive and hang up on me. Yeah, I wouldn't recommend this company if my life depended on it. When asked a question, they get defensive and hang up. What did I ask? I asked if she could help or if I should just do the payment online. Because, she couldn't help...she started arguing and hung up. Horrible professionalism and service. I own a business and never treat customers this way. If you are going to have a superiority complex with your paying customers, there is no better way to go out of business. Avoid dealing with Sandy at all costs. read more

Our building is an older condo community in central Denver, CO. This creates a number of difficulties and challenges as the building ages and the City of Denver has complex regulations. However, MSI and specifically Cassie Dougles, have been amazing to help us out. She's been able to stay calm through many of our building challenges and repairs, respond quickly, and, importantly, stay organized to keep all projects on track. Deneen, you seem to have a canned response for the reviews, asking for more detail to follow up. Many people have asked for their basement window wells to be redone or fixed . Jackson has taken over nine months saying that the reason for the delay is getting bids!? if you need help go onto the Nextdoor app and you can probably have 5 bids within a week! Secondly, fences look like shit and really falling apart! Haven't been fixed or painted in years. You all collect over a million $$ in fees. We shouldn't have to do our own repairs. Hard yo sell cause place looks so run down snd fees are high. It would be different if collected high fees and it looked well kept and repairs done. read more

Extremely Unprofessional and Frustrating Experience I recently contacted MSI regarding a $1.99 service fee that appeared on my bill--even though I have my payments set up directly through my bank's bill pay. My bank confirmed everything was configured correctly on their end and advised me to reach out to MSI's Accounts Receivables department for clarification. Unfortunately, my experience with MSI was exactly what I'd been warned about. The representative I spoke with was rude from the start--completely dismissive, spoke over me, and made no effort to actually listen or help. When I asked why I was being charged, she just repeated, in a condescending tone, that it was "because I was paying through the portal." I tried to explain I was using my bank's bill pay--not the portal--but she wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. There was zero effort to help me troubleshoot the issue or guide me toward a solution. Instead, I was left to figure it out myself. When I logged into the portal, I found no clear option to cancel scheduled payments. Eventually, I had to manually delete my bank account from the portal just to (hopefully) stop these unwanted charges. This kind of service is unacceptable. I reached out with a simple question and was met with hostility and no resolution. I hope MSI seriously reevaluates how their staff interacts with residents. Based on this experience, the poor reviews about MSI's customer service are 100% accurate. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the way this HOA operates... or more accurately, doesn't operate. They do not enforce any of the community covenants, allowing a brand new neighborhood to slowly deteriorate while homeowners are left to deal with the consequences. I have raised my concerns to Meghan Blanchette and Wendy McFarland countless times over the past year, and have been met with complete silence for the past three months. Emails with photos requesting follow-up on numerous HOA violations are ignored, and clearly, no one is coming through the community to do their job. It's infuriating to pay dues and receive nothing in return. This HOA collects fees without providing any real service. Where is the money going? Certainly not toward upkeep, enforcement, or communication with residents. The total lack of communication is unacceptable. Do not trust this HOA to protect your investment or your community. Despite repeated follow-ups, including a written notice on March 25, 2025, the Association failed to provide adequate repairs or a meaningful response. A superficial patch by Northwest Roofing was conducted on April 2, 2025, and declared "complete" by April 4. However, a professional inspection conducted on April 10, 2025, revealed that the roof remained significantly damaged and continued to leak. This report, which included detailed photographs and findings, was provided to the Association on 4/11 and is attached here again for your convenience. Between April 21 and April 29, 2025, a mitigation contractor removed baseboards, drywall, and flooring to prevent mold and further degradation from our client's unit; however, no rebuild could occur due to the ongoing water intrusion. On May 1 and May 7, 2025, rainfall again resulted in standing water inside our client's home--damaging exposed floors and walls under temporary plastic sheeting. The Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions governing the Association clearly imposes responsibility on the Association for maintaining, repairing, and replacing roofing shingles and underlayment. The interior damage directly resulted from the Association's negligent failure to fulfill this obligation. Despite this, the Association continues to disavow responsibility, even though the damage stems directly from a common element under its exclusive maintenance duty. Further, the attached document titled Maintenance, Repairs, Replacement And Insurance Responsibilities For Central Park Community Association, Inc. provides on page 8 that "[i]f maintenance or repair... is required for any owner-maintained component due to a negligent or willful act or omission of the association, the association shall be responsible for the cost of the necessary repairs." The condition of the roof, as well as the timeline of events, establishes the HOA has been negligent in maintenance of the roof, which has caused continuing and ongoing damage to our client's unit.. Our client's situation mirrors the ruling in JWC Stanley Holding, LLC v. Overlook Dev. at Historic Stanley, LLC, 2016 Colo. Dist. LEXIS 474, where the court found an HOA liable for interior property damage resulting from its failure to maintain a structural element under its control--in that case, drainage. The same reasoning applies here. Under section 1(b) Article VIII of the HOA Declarations "Following completion of the original construction of the residences on the Lots, the Association shall provide for the maintenance, repair and replacement of the following portions of the Lots and residences constructed thereon: (i) roofing shingles and underlayment." The Association's neglect of the roof, an element they are required to maintain and repair under their purview, has directly caused interior damage, rendering parts of our client's home uninhabitable. read more

I am the president of my HOA We have been extremely pleased with MSI's service. And in particular, Dawn Cochrane, who is our manager. She and MSI in general are very responsive to our needs. They know how to kindly manage our board when we need those gentle reminders to put the budget together or send out a notice. I live in the SILO townhouses in Westminster and our development recently changed to MSI this year after decades with the previous management company . I called the community manager and in early February managed to get him on the phone . I explained I am highly alergic to bees and had a hive located on the building near my front door . He said he would have it removed . He never did and he never opened a ticket in their system . Living in Colorado we get warmer days in the winter. After nothing happened I attempted to follow up with him . I left four voicemails over a thirty day period and no response . I escalated the call after the fourth attempt and talked to another property manager peer who explained my property manager works from home so maybe better I email Then I get a response that it's not the HOA responsibility . So after being told they would remove it , then not responding for over a month , after escalating I finally get a response that it's not there problem . The new community manager for SILO is beyond terrible . I am just not sure if this is an employee problem or a company problem. Message for John Field - President . It's wonderful that you read these reviews .SILO westminster is a 500 plus townhouse community that deserves a competent community manager . The manager you have assigned to our community either lacks the experience needed to properly manage the community or just doesn't care .
