Ok, here starts our story. We went apartment hunting. This place caught out attention due to its location. So we inquired. The staff was very very friendly especially after visiting several other areas that where let's say bad. We can't in knowing more or less what we would like. We where shown several units. We feel in love with one. So we applied. The unit was recently renovated. Very well to. The process was very easy and quick. We did another walk through to make sure and found a minor leak. As soon as the leak was found maintenance went and turned off the water immediately. And are repairing it in the morning. All of the locks work. The trash bins are not always full. And let's talk price, unbelievable for what you get. Down right insane compared to every where else. Very low. I will continue to update this as we live here. 10/16/16 Update. First of all I was not paid to write a review. Our water heater went out and we went without water for a week or longer. Then they had to redo the water heater cause they put it in wrong. Then they found a leak in the faucet assembly for the shower/tub. Knocked out the tile and fixed it... Have not come back yet to replace the tile we are on week two of having no tile around out faucet. Parking is a pathetic joke. The front office has turned into a rude nightmare. There is only one nice person in there. I have down graded this to a 2.5 star because they have fixed the trash situation. Although they don't enforce any sort of grounds cleanliness. I am a former resident of Westcliff Apartments (managed by JRK Property Holdings), and consumers need to be fully aware of the extreme administrative failures and gross negligence occurring at this property. After moving out, I explicitly put the leasing office on formal notice that I was fleeing a domestic violence situation involving an abuser who was a current employee of this company. Despite being informed of this critical safety risk, the property manager, Blake, and her team committed a shocking sequence of administrative and safety failures: 1. Account Cross-Contamination: The office initially failed to remove me from my abuser's profile, filing his financial records under my name and forcing me to provide documented email proof to correct their error. 2. Severe Safety Data Leak: They then uploaded my actual Final Account Statement--containing my full legal name and confidential new forwarding address--directly onto the online portal account of an unauthorized third-party resident. Because they employed my abuser, leaking my physical location is a severe safety threat. 3. Breach of Financial Contract: While I was on an active, mutually agreed-upon payment plan, the office prematurely sent my account to a collections agency before the due date, violating basic consumer debt protections. Payments which I paid in full on or before my deadline. (Though canceled after I disputed it, the action demonstrates severe bad faith). 4. Deliberate Evasion by Management: Property Manager Blake has actively avoided accountability. She has deliberately withheld standard procedural information, left the property while knowingly keeping me on hold, and had her leasing agents lie to claim she was unavailable to avoid taking my calls. Amanda is absolutely amazing! Her friendly and fun demeanor would have made this the best application/movein process alone but she did wonders for my partner and I. We had other plans fall through and came to Westcliff 6 days before our old lease was up (on Labor Day weekend on top of it all) and she was able to answer the tall ask and get us into our beautiful new apartment smoothly and quickly. When you read the reviews urging you to not live here, please believe them! This is hands down the worst place I have ever lived and the worst management! The good reviews are from fake accounts created just to post a good review. Notice how they all have only posted one review... I called several times before my move in to do a walkthrough of my apartment and they wouldn't let me. The day I moved in the leasing agent called me at 11am (as I was packing up a moving truck) and told me I couldn't move in until 5pm that day. When I arrived at my apartment, the cleaning crew was still there cleaning the apartment and it was an absolute disaster. Both sinks didn't work, one was leaking, the toilet was clogged and filthy, the lock was broken on the front door, there were piles of dirt and dust everywhere, and I didn't have kitchen cabinets. The leasing office insisted that they had informed me I wouldn't have cabinets for a while as they were on back order. This was never communicated to me. I didn't get kitchen cabinets for almost 2 months of living there (and no concession for moving into an apartment that was not ready to live in). The management is SO incredibly rude. I have had phone calls with them where they are yelling at me and have even hung up on me before. Larissa, the old manager, was terrible, rude, mean, and never could answer my questions. The new manager, Mary, is not any better. They have never been helpful. The leasing agent, Francesca, argued with me regarding my rent increase and has never once been friendly or helpful when I have asked for help. She was also the one that insisted I was told I wouldn't have kitchen cabinets at move in. Not to mention they are always eating or on their personal phones when you go into the office to try to talk to them in person. The property is never kept clean. The garbage, dog waste bins, and mail trash is always overflowing. The amenities are hardly ever open and if they are they are not kept up with. The pool was closed for several weeks over the summer and the hot tub hasn't has water in it for months. When my lease was set to expire, they offered me a rent renewal for $300 more a month than what I was currently paying. Not only were they useless in helping me understand why my rent would go up so much, they listed my exact apartment online for $200 less than what they offered me. A giant SCAM. My lease expired on the 9th of the month, and they made me pay for the full month of rent despite only living there for a portion of that month. They claim that they will refund me the prorated amount, but I am not holding my breath. I could go on and on about the issues this place has. If you're looking for a sign, this is it. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The day I moved in, the front door was broken off the hinges, the blinds in the bedroom were broken, the dryer doesn't work, the windows in every room don't seal shut, the stove still had food crumbs on it, the floor had dirt everywhere, and the layout/finish of the apartment was different than the room they took us on a tour of even though they said the only difference should be the wallpaper in the living room. I lived there for 4 months before receiving a functioning dryer. If you sign a lease with Westcliff, you will need to budget in laundromat fees to your monthly cost. Because even though the lease states it comes with a washer and dryer, they are nonfunctioning. During my 12 months of living at Westcliff, the FBI showed up numerous times with guns drawn because of drug dealings and shootings. One person was shot 7 times and murdered, and Westcliff did not tell any of their residents about these incidents. I only know about it because every single time, police would knock on my door asking for a statement. Since moving out, they denied my initial application at my current apartment saying I never rented with Westcliff, which meant I could not prove I had any rental history for the past 12 months. I had to call the manager at Westcliff and argue with them to prove that I had indeed been a resident at their terrible establishment for the past 12 months. Then, two days after returning my keys, (one day after my lease ended) they informed me that I would be charged prorated rent for not returning them on time, despite giving them back before my lease ended. I was still billed for prorated rent and it was sent to collections because I refused to pay it. Despite not living there for two months, I continue to receive energy bills for entire months that I didn't reside there. Westcliff divides the utilities used amongst the complex such as water, trash, pest control, etc. I have been billed for these things for entire months I have not lived there. -It has now been 94 days since my lease ended, and after bugging the management multiple times via email, phone call, and in person, I finally received a copy of my itemized statement regarding my security deposit. They let me know that they didn't mail it to me because I never left a forwarding address, which is false. I was required to leave a forwarding address when I gave my keys back. I have received incorrect bills regarding the split utilities at the complex directly from the rental office at Westcliff, which means they do have my current address on file. I also updated my forwarded address through USPS. Every charge on the statement regarding my security deposit was wrongfully charged. When I moved in, I was completely blown away by how trashed the apartment was so I had taken pictures and videos of everything in the apartment. These pics/videos are obviously timestamped which will dispute every contradicting charge on the statement. I'm adding this into the review so if whoever is reading this somehow gets stuck renting from this business, you MUST video as much footage as possible, including while you return your keys and give your forwarding address. The time stamps are crucial. For those of you that don't know, landlords in Colorado are REQUIRED to provide an itemized receipt regarding your security deposit based on C.R.S section 38-12-103 which was created in 1971. Which means this is not new information. Some leases have an exception of 60 days. If you are not provided with this statement, the landlord is required to forfeit every dollar of the deposit. If you are wrongfully charged the statute says the landlord will owe the tenant 3x the security deposit plus court fees. Don't let this place scam you. Westcliff is very deceiving and there's a reason they have the ratings they do. Trust the ratings. read more

This was by far the worst living experience I've ever had, and I've been bopping around apartments for nearly 10 years. The day of my move-in, I showed up and was told that they weren't done cleaning the apartment and asked me to come back at 6pm to get my keys (and they didn't have a mailbox key for me for a month). Upon move in, the AC was broken, the dryer belt was broken so the dryer wouldn't turn, the coax plug in the wall was broken, the shower curtain rod was broken (and I was never given a new one, I had to buy my own) and the apartment was still dirty. Then, in mid-September, my ceiling started pouring water a 3am during a rainstorm (I lived on the 3rd floor). The "emergency" maintenance came by at 8am to say there was nothing he could do about it now and gave me a bucket to put under it. It took them OVER A MONTH to fix the leaking ceiling with 0 aplogy and no updates on the progress unless I walked into the manager's office to ask when it would be fixed (which I did, about 5 times). At one point, I was told that I "should feel lucky" because someone else's aparment "flooded worse two months ago and it's still not fixed" by the woman at the leasing office desk. The pool was closed for nearly the whole season, and the hot tub was closed off and on for the whole year. The complex gym was disgusting and had lights hanging by wires out of the wall socket. The trash compactor was broken about once every two months and would stay broken for minimum a week at a time (and once for over a month). Meanwhile, you're paying at least $100/month in "community fees", $150/month for complex utilities, and they're emailing everyone threatening to fine them $75 for not leashing dogs while INSIDE the dog park. After rent, fees, utilties, etc. I was paying $1800/month for a 700sq ft dirty, outdated one-bedroom apartment that was constantly incurring maintenance calls, and I could hardly use the "ameneities" let alone take out my trash. After I turned in my move-out notice, I was called 3 times to ask if there was "anything we could do to get you to stay." read more

My fiancé and I applied to this apartment two months before our move in date. We were extremely excited about this place but should have been put off by the unprofessionalism from the beginning. They make you pay 500 for application fees that's non refundable. DON'T DO IT. We took a tour of an unfinished apartment and figured we'd be fine by move in, WRONG. After having to constantly reach out to them to find out what's happening with our application and just the process of moving in it was really starting to get sketchy. We had three different types of payments they told us to be paying by move in. At the end of it we were almost paying 5,000. We kept going with this. (Very dumb I know now) It comes to move in day and we finally get the keys after being told we wouldn't have cabinet fronts or new counters. I'm only giving a 1 star because we like the area and the apartment layout. It should've been an indication, but the day we were moving in, the apartment wasn't even done with the renovations and still had the old cabinets in the living room, the carpet wasn't changed and still had a bunch of stains, the paint wasn't finished and when they finally finished the reno, they left a large hole in the corner. Whenever we have questions for the leasing office, they never return emails or calls. We are getting charged 2x the normal amount on our utilities and there's only one garbage compact on-site so it is CONSTANTLY overflowing. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews before moving into this place but we were tempted by what seemed like a good deal at the time and driven by the urgency of needing a place quickly. I figured every apartment complex has bad reviews, but this place has a 1.5-star rating for a reason! Westcliff Apartments are a far cry from a luxury complex. Listen to the reviews and steer clear of this place. Our biggest issue was waiting over 60 days for our security deposit. Francesca at the front office told us that the property manager, Mary, was purposefully not recording anyone's forwarding address upon move-out, and every time I checked in with her on the whereabouts of our deposit, I was met with excuses, lies, and evasion tactics for weeks. It wasn't until I threatened the property management, Two Coast Living, with my intention to file a lawsuit that they finally got our deposit sent the very next day. Take warning--Westcliff WILL attempt to unlawfully withhold your money in hopes that you'll simply relent in trying to get it back. You'll see the other recent reviews of people who also had to take legal action or didn't get their money back at all. The litany of issues within our unit during the time we lived there seemed endless. Severely warped windows allowed cold drafts to seep in and skyrocketed our energy bill to try and keep our unit warm in the winter. It also caused extensive water damage to the drywall that never got fixed and served as an open invitation to an onslaught of insects from pill bugs one year with literal piles of dead pill bugs around our unit, followed by a spider infestation the next, complete with spider egg sacs on every piece of furniture. Inside, the state of disrepair was equally concerning with mildew-stained bathtubs and mold between tiles and beneath vanity sinks. The paper-thin walls offered no buffer from the noise of neighboring units. The kitchen in the Amethyst floor plan was dysfunctional with only two out of four drawers being usable and the dishwasher was the crappiest model they could find. The carpets were promised to be cleaned before move-in, but it was proven that they were not when cleaners arrived on our move-in date and left without cleaning the carpets because we already moved our belongings in. But the management's negligence wasn't confined to our unit--it permeated the entire complex. The only dumpster on the property regularly overflowed onto the street, creating a disgusting eyesore and a rodent infestation. The grounds were covered with an incredible amount of dog feces and urine to such an extent that the stench was pervasive and intolerable. Snow removal services were practically nonexistent, leaving the tenants to shovel and salt the sidewalks and walkways themselves. Safety was a major concern too. My boyfriend had his catalytic converter cut out of his car in the parking lot, and even a homicide occurred in a neighboring unit that brought a SWAT team to the property which was met with a disturbing lack of communication from management. Maintenance was okay at best, with only one decent guy named Wade, most issues were marked as "completed" without any actual resolution. They raised our rent by $300 the first year, which we went through with because we didn't want to be hassled with moving, and then they wanted to raise it another $300 the next year with no improvements to our unit or the property, and yet they listed our unit for $600 less than what our new rent would have been. This place is nothing short of a nightmare run by shady people--avoid it at all costs, or prepare yourself to present them with a legal battle to reclaim what's rightfully yours. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Don't even know where to begin... so many things wrong with this complex. To start off we were toured on a completely different unit then we were assigned even though they insisted it was the exact same floor plan and finishes. Not a huge deal so we decide to live with it and get the keys.. upon receiving keys and walking the unit that was suppose to be "new" and ready for us was in HIDEOUS condition. Paint splatter all on the floor, dust everywhere, broken blinds, greased up oven, leaking dishwasher machine, broken dryer, unsealed windows causing huge drafts, mold in master bathroom... the list goes on. Put in numerous maintenance request just to get them marked as 'complete' when nobody came to actually visit the unit and solve the issue. Didn't have a proper working dryer for 4 out of the 12 months I leased here , requiring me to take my clothes and pay out of pocket for a laundry mat service. I then took the bill from laundry mat to head office asking to be credited for these little amounts since they couldn't provided the necessary repairs within a reasonable amount of time and was denied this credit and pretty much laughed at. Trash is absolutely disgusting and a health hazard. Have to walk your trash to the one single dump they have for a complex of 1000's of people. Trash gets overwhelming full to where it flows into the street, left out for weeks at a time. Once moving out it was an absolute mess.. turned in my keys early and moved out of this place was quickly as possible. The day after my lease finalized officially I received a call from complex manager stating I haven't turned in my key and will be charged a prorated rent amount everyday until it comes in. I had to call her back after work restating and explaining dropped all my necessary keys off weeks prior and she insisted on not believing me until she somehow magically found them and apologized for the situation. I was still sent a collections letter in the mail for the single day charged of prorated rent even though I had everything checked out and turned into office before hand. Not only is the complex dirty, staff unhelpful, but the community as a whole didn't feel safe. While I was living there swat team came to a unit nearby, as well as multiple shooting in my attached building that was posted and broadcast on the local news resulting in a murder. Blood splatter in hallway for weeks. Unsafe, keep children and family's away at all cost! Complex is an absolute disaster and I would never wish my worst enemy to live in this place. No care from staff, complex is a mess, amenities never work, hot tub didn't work once in the 12months living there, management looking for any way to upcharge you for more $$$. AVOID AT ALL COST! I lived here and my mom lived here on separate occasions and it was exactly the same each time. You will never get your huge deposit back, and they will charge you for their lack of maintenance on the apartment. They sent me to collections without ever sending a final bill, that is after we left a forwarding address and the having multiple ways of contacting my mother and I. I have lived at Westcliff apartments for almost 2 years now. It's a safe neighborhood and good area to live in. The floor plans are spacious. That's about all the positives I have though. I was told I would be getting new carpet when I signed my lease. On day of move in, the manager told me they decided NOT to put new carpet in my place without ever notifying me. The office has a very high turn over rate. Most of the office staff are rude and passive aggressive. This place is far from luxury as the signs state, and charges way too much for what they actually provide. They went up over 10% on my rent when I renewed my lease. People do not pick up after their dogs, and half the time they aren't on a leash either and come running up to you. The trash compactor at the back of the neighborhood is constantly overflowing, its the ONLY trash in the neighborhood. The dog park is falling to pieces and has gotten worse since I originally moved in. Maintenance likes to close your maintenance requests even though they were never completed. Their 48 hour guarantee they advertise? Don't count on it. There is no point in complaining to the office about anything because they don't care, and half of the time don't bother replying back to you either. I left numerous voicemails at corporate too, and no one there ever bothered to call me back. UPDATE 7/23/19: Teri the manager at the office today told me to "stop talking" when I came in to talk about about a maintenance request not being fixed after 3 weeks(and I dropped by her office several times to mention it over the 3 weeks). She blatantly told me that other customers without AC are more important than bugs crawling in under my door and my AC seeping out below the door due to weatherstripping that needs to be replaced. If I could give negative stars I absolutely would! The apartments are overpriced for overfilled trash 24/7, dog poop all over, and apartments that basically fall apart. The management office never gets anything fixed and when they do it is done terribly and needs to be redone for example when my washer broke and they kept coming in looking at it for a second and saying it was fine refusing to replace it. Another instance was when one of my doorknobs broke and instead of matching the doorknob to the other they did two completely different doorknobs. To top it all off management didn't sign my lease when they moved us in and when we wanted to leave they told us they would evict us and we had 10 days to leave. Then to justify their actions they told us we shouldn't have moved in after they gave us the keys. Overall these apartments are not worth the price and I strongly recommend that nobody rent from them! read more

Living here is like living in a landfill, paying a property maintenance fee of over $200 a month for nothing to be maintained, repairs never happen, the employees are rude, unresponsive, or absent, and for the pool to be dirty and cold. The trash is so bad it is strewn across the property and you have to avoid raccoons, squirrels, and rats as you drive through the parking lot. I pay for an assigned parking space but it is near the dumpster and the stench is so strong that when I get in my car I have to air it out in the morning. I noticed that Westcliff doesn't respond to any 1 star reviews which I find not surprising. Going to write one anyway to reinforce what others are saying and hopefully help others make an informed decision. First of all these could be great apartments with an excellent location, spacious designs, relatively safe area, and relatively up to date. However, the management is terrible. I have lived here Since August 2022 and have yet to have a working dishwasher. Despite numerous work orders, and numerous lies that it would be fixed....nothing. I understand corporate bureaucracy makes it hard to get new appliances (can't just go to Lowe's and buy one). But this is beyond the pale. They claim this is a luxury apartment complex but the most simple things like a working dishwasher and working windows apparently are beyond the "luxury" this place has to offer. Most of the front desk and maintenance have at least responded to my complaints and requests with empathy and a verbal statement of intent to rectify problems. However, when I escalated to the manager (Larissa), she has yet to resolved the issues (broken windows and dishwashers), responded to my email in a way indicating she didn't even read it, and has done NOTHING to compensate for the problems we have faced in the apartment. Even when I brought up legit safety concerns have not received proper attention (mold in the non-functioning dishwasher, melting plastic due after the first faulty repair of the broken dishwasher, windows that aren't weather proof or open properly). Another safety concern is the fact that this so-called luxury apartment complex does not shovel the snow on the sidewalks which then turns to ice and is an incredible safety hazard. Maybe this isn't standard but seems like a real liability if you ask me. I noticed prices drastically reduced for this complex since moving in (yes I understand August is peak pricing but this is also compared to other apartment prices in the region), and I can't help but wonder if the poor management of this apartment complex is costing the corporation that owns it a lot of money. Of course, I reached out to corporate headquarters (JRK Management) and left a message (over a month ago) but not heard back. Ultimately this wouldn't be bad if I was paying $1200/month like my old place. But this apartment is costing me way more than that and for what they are charging me it is not remotely worth it. I am writing this review to potentially discourage anyone from renting at Westcliff Apartments. My brother and I rented the two bedroom apartment from March 2022 until June 2023. Throughout our year here we faced numerous challenges due to a lack of professionalism from the management staff. I would like to state, firstly, that we always paid our bill in full and on time. We never had any issues or complaints from our neighbors. Our grievance is strictly with the management team. When we initially signed the lease we had only been able to tour their model apartment and had not seen the unit we were going to get. The model apartment had very nice cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. When we finally moved in, our apartment did not have the granite countertops, instead we got laminate. We quickly reported this to the management team because we felt manipulated. We were assured that the model we walked through was identical to the apartment we were getting. Aside from that flagrant dishonesty, our apartment was clearly run through. We had scuff marks on the walls. The kitchen sink was not secured to the counter. Part of the kitchen counter was damaged in the corner, revealing the particle board underneath. When we put in a request to have them fix the sink and counter they said they wanted to wait until they installed the new counters, which they never did. We put in several maintenance requests throughout our time and always had issues with them fulfilling their obligations. They would, on occasion, delete our request without resolving our problem. We would then have to resubmit maintenance requests until they actually resolved the issue. They also had issues getting into our apartment and this was a two-fold problem. Twice they claimed they lost the key and needed us to bring them ours so they could make a copy, which we always did. Once, Mary the Manager accused us of changing the locks and said they would charge us to have the door rekeyed. It was a ridiculous and unprofessional accusation. She didn't ask us, she told us, that we changed the locks. This was blatantly false. These issues continued until the end of our lease. On our last month in June, which we were only staying until the 25th, we were charged for a full month of rent. They told us that this was standard and they would reimburse the additional rent with our security deposit. It was actually just a tactic to take even more than our deposit's value. Our deposit was $500 and the additional rent was $328. In total we received $312 back. We were charged for multiple things including: a "deep clean" ($150), carpet cleaning fee ($50) and a painting fee ($200). This was despite us, thoroughly, cleaning the apartment before we left. I would highly discourage anyone from moving to this apartment complex. The Westcliff team made our stay highly dissatisfying. They added unneeded stress and complication into our lives. I do not know where to start. How about DITTO ON ALL THE OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS. I thought when I was going to review this place I was going to do be the first person who reads it, but everybody else seems to have the exact same feelings I have about Westcliff apartments. This place is absolutely horrendous I've been there for a number of years (wasn't too bad in the beginning) and moved out recently and I've had nothing but nightmares trying to recover my security deposit and my pet deposit. They never gave me any documentation when I left. However, I was sent to a collection agency for no reason. My FICO score is excellent, and I was in danger of having that ruined because of the management at this apartment complex. I was also told that I had to pay for a carpet cleaning service when they told me that my carpeting was going to be replaced after I moved out. Hmmm! The nightmare started when I had a walk-through video of my apartment complex since I was out of state when I rented during Covid. I did not get what I was shown. additionally, I was paying for other things that I did not get like a Mountain View. for the sake of time and the value of my time, I'm going to cut this short, though I could write a book about the things that I've seen and experienced over over the course of time that I've been at this apartment. Just read all the other bad reviews, and "KNOW THAT THEY ARE ACCURATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Just don't make any harsh decisions if you like what you see when they show you the model before you make a decision take some time out walk around the property (ALONE....NO PRESSURE FROM MANAGEMENT). Look at the dumpster that they have they only have one dumpster for the entire complex which may mean you may need to walk 600-700 feet to throw away your garbage. Half the time the garbage compactor is full and you'll end up tossing the garbage on the road in front of it (RATS OF COURSE). Check the pictures out in the other reviews they are accurate of the dumpster and the trash in front of the dumpster. I apologize for any misspelled words as I am verbalizing this review because I don't even want to waste my time with it, however, if I can get one person to look at this review and convince them not to move into this place this review with the time that I spent writing it, it would be worth it. PLEASE, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!! you won't know it, but trust me, you'll be glad you did. Oh BTW, forgot to mention, I had mold in my apt and warned management which fell on deaf ears. My partner and I have lived at Westcliff for over four months now. Our experience has been great, in all honesty I'm shocked by the reviews. We have never had any major maintenance issues, and when we moved in everything was done well. I think a lot of the negative reviews stemmed from a woman named Larissa, who was very frank and not friendly. She's no longer working here and Francesca really is an amazing person. It is a little pricey (that would be my only issue with it). We signed a lease for 1650 and after all the utilities and expenses, we pay closer to 1900. The purpose of this review is to help individuals and families by providing them with genuine information about this apartment complex based on our personal experiences. Pros: The location is amazing! Beautiful views of the mountains, close to major highways, Wadsworth & Sheridan. Very easy to access roads. There are tons of good restaurants & grocery stores (Target, Walmart & King Soopers) within a 5 minute drive. The surrounding neighborhoods are clean & well kept and feel very safe. Great sidewalks for walking & running, and many awesome parks/playgrounds for families within 5-10 minute drive. The pool, weight room, and leasing center are nice. The weight room is especially nice and has great equipment. The pool is huge and has lots of seating & also has a small putt putt course. Kept relatively clean and not usually crowded. Cons: Unfortunately, the cons list is much more significant, Management here is truly horrible. The leasing agents and apartment manager are rude, unhelpful, and lack empathy and fail to accept responsibility for issues. Regardless of the situation, they always seek to place the blame elsewhere and tend to be very passive aggressive. Upon our arrival for move in, we were told our apartment was not ready for move in. Having just driven from Texas, this was very frustrating and disappointing because we did not have a place to live. We had a agreed on a date and management failed to have our apartment ready for move in. We had to book a hotel a for 2 nights waiting for the apartment to be finished (the day we arrived, the apartment was still being painted, the carpet was disgusting and torn up, and nothing was cleaned). We were told 2 days later it was ready for move in, which was not true. The entire apartment was filthy. It had clearly not been cleaned. The carpet was so dirty with dust, dirt and dog hair that it clogged our vacuum cleaner. We were told the carpets had been professionally cleaned; this was obviously untrue. Management told us they would Re clean the carpets, but whatever they did did not help (at all). Rather than being apologetic and helpful, management told us they had done all they could do and repeatedly mentioned they offered to have the carpet replaced (which we declined because we didn't have anywhere to live and did not have the time and ability to wait for the carpet to be replaced - as mentioned the apartment was not ready for move in and we couldn't afford to wait any longer). When we agreed to the specific move in date, no one mentioned the carpets being disgusting and needing to be replaced. Only well after we moved in did the manager say "there's a reason the carpets needed to be replaced". If this was the case, the carpet should have been replaced and completed before our agreed upon move in date. The trash situation is awful - there is always trash piled outside of the dumpsters. The apartments are not "luxury" by any means. The leasing office is, as is the gym, but the apartments certainly are not. It's very strange that management decided to spend millions on the leasing center and gym but not on the actual places people live. Honestly, it is not surprising giving the attitudes and personalities of the leasing agents and manager. The appliances and finish outs are outdated and dirty. The "renovations" are done very poorly. There is paint splattered on our floor in countless spots, the new countertops are installed very poorly, and because the new sink is so large, 2 of the drawers are unusable. This leaves 2 drawers in the entire kitchen available for use. We also do not have cabinet doors or faces, so everything is wide open. Multiple times, workers have tried to enter our apartment with no prior communication or scheduling. My wife and daughter were alone one day, and two men tried to force their way into our door. Luckily, the deadbolt was locked, but they banged loudly on the door (loud enough to wake up my daughter who was napping) and yelled to open the door. Again, this was without any communication from management. Ceilings and walls are VERY thin. The tenants above us seem to just be doing very normal things and walking around, but it is extremely noisy. External walls & windows do not mute outside sound at all, so when people get in late at night you WILL hear them quite clearly. In summary, I would strongly advise anyone considering leasing here to explore other options. While the location is great, there are several apartments in the area. I have no experience with any of them, but I find it hard to believe management could be so poor elsewhere. Save yourself stress and frustration and find somewhere else to live. We only have a 3 month lease here and cannot wait to leave and hopefully never deal with communication & management so poor again. Every month they charge me super expensive rental insurance at $67 a month. I have proven three times now that I have paid for adequate insurance through state farm. I keep sending them the correct form and they don't send me any feedback. When I go to the office and explain the situation they act like it's my fault give me the same email address to send the proof of insurance to and then the cycle repeats itself. On top of that they started installing new cabinets in February. This was supposed to be a temporary inconvenience. Well they have had two contractors leave the job and now it's almost July and the cabinets are still left undone. DON'T RENT HERE. read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE! My husband and I lived here for a year and our experience was terrible. Upon applying and moving in there are a ton of fees and a huge deposit. The office staff is very rude and it doesn't seem like they even try to help you. There is only one dumpster for the entire huge complex so there is constantly trash and furniture dumped around the complex. They got rid of recycling the first week we moved in. Maintenance is slow and often does not know how to fix anything in the apartments. Upon move out they refused to prorate our rent to our move out date, which I have never had an issue with at any other apartment. This is a nice area and there are trails and restaurants near by, but pick any other complex to live at. There are a lot of apartments around this area, and you will likely have a much better experience anywhere else. read more

Overpriced, not luxury apts at all! Carpets smelled horrible when moving in and they were crunchy. Had to ask to come do it again and the front desk was rude about it. Paying rent for an updated place when it's hasn't been updated, "it was supposed to be." Hot tub is gross, pool and gym is always closed. The roof leaked and there's visible water damage down the wall, maintenance came and looked at it, didn't do anything about it, then marked the request as completed. Impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office and the staff is super rude! My car was stolen last Christmas out of the parking lot. Packages get taken all the time. Dumpster area is a disgusting mess most days. The dog feces everywhere has gotten better but please do not, I repeat, do not move here! read more

his apartment complex and their owners consistently enforce predatory practices including: charging a full months rent during the final month of living there (not included in the lease), assessing late fees that were verbally and in writing assured to be waived by the manager, lack of communication by the complex on move-out charges and fees, threatening and taking me to collections on the move out charges despite any reasonable communication or timeline on the moveout charges. I am not a person who generally writes, or reads review, but if the numerous one star reviews have not yet convinced you to take this complex off the list you are considering hopefully this one will. I cannot understand at all how there are any five star reviews. This complex has, throughout our two year's of living there, displayed a complete lack of professionalism, respect to renters, or competence. A list of a few of the situations we dealt with: -Being asked to move our agreed upon move in date on the actual move in date with our moving truck parked and ready to unload -Having our apartment cleaned the day we were scheduled to move in -Not having our mail keys for 2+ weeks after move in and receiving no help or communication from the office on how to obtain them -Not having workorders filled in a remotely quick manner (within two weeks) -Poor quality appliances -Not having the renovation we paid for completed until we were already living in the apartment -Consistently being unable to reach apartment staff -No response from the apartment staff via phone, voicemails, or emails. I have had to walk into the office repeatedly to have issues resolved -The manager works at the property half-time and is unable to be reached otherwise -Having our lease term altered (signed a 14 month lease that they had in their system as 12 months) -Overflowing trash facilities, leading to wild animals, trash throughout the property, and over full roll-off containers. This would commonly take days to resolve -Lack of care for or availability of amenities that were paid for by the rent (pool, exercise area) -Losing my proof of renter's insurance and attempting to penalize me with fees -Lack of any professionalism in communication by front desk staff (except for Stevie) DO NOT MOVE HERE.
