I have been leasing here for 3 years . 24-7 emergency maintenance even at 2 am . 24-7 roaming security by Front Range Patrol Defense Contractor. Westminster police response time is under 5 minutes. Grounds are cleaned up even on Sundays so it looks well kept. Residents pick up after their fur babies and use the waste bins and bags provided . Happy, joyful children may be heard enjoy their time at their poolside birthday party. Corporate center drive has a beautiful park, flower garden and mini-golf with soft music , it's a well kept secret. There's a trail alongside a creek leading to Standley Lake . Screaming, and I mean SCREAMING children at the pool whenever it's nice out. Parents don't do a thing and let their children disrupt everyone who lives there. I work from home and even with all the windows and doors closed I can still hear these kids screaming their heads off at the pool. There are a couple of residents with loud mustang type/muscle cars that wake everyone up in the dead of night as they speed out of the parking lot every single night. Like clock work, always around midnight there is loud revving that wakes me up as the drivers unnecessarily speed out of the lots. Would be great if management would put in speed humps to alleviate these situations. Do not expect a good night's sleep here. read more

Overall the best move in and first week experience I have had at an apartment. Apartments are new and seem well maintained, gym is very nice, and the single car garage's have enough room for extra storage. My water heater went out on the first night (Friday), and maintenance showed up first thing Saturday morning to fix it. read more

If you're leasing here, do it through tyler, do not correspond with Melody or Jeremy. I have an emotion support animal whom I've had no problems getting into any other apartments the past 4 years of my life. When I moved into MAA, I was speculative, specifically because I emailed Melody our "leasing agent," about my disabilities, and she never responded to my email. Following this, I submitted all of the paperwork for my ESA, with the help of my girlfriend via her email. With the information provided it was expected that Melody would've submitted this to their legal department as we made it known before moving it that this was important to us. (We also have all of the correct signed medical paperwork and a doctors note.) We had forgotten about this for about 3 months until my girlfriend decided to go into the leasing office to ask about an update. The update we received was that she wasn't in the office that day. So when she finally emailed us back she emailed us explaining that without any proof, and seemingly out of procedure we had been declined without ever receiving a notification from the legal department, or a letter/email. The justification was because Melody in all of her infinite wisdom submitted the paperwork in my girlfriends name, even though I emailed her telling her I had the disabilities. The very next day when we asked her to submit it again, we received a PDF response in less than a day, making us speculative that Melody ever did her job. When asking about proof that any paperwork was submitted the first time, they could not provide this. Additionally, we only have ever received one update email from Melody three months late, every other correspondence, was between either management or legal, our "leasing agent," who profited and got commission off of lying to us is essentially just trying to hide behind their bosses because they're an idiot. After we realized no one in the office was going to be helpful, we asking for a phone number for the legal department, the line rang once, and went to their "answering service," I said I'd like to speak with legal and was met with the reply, "well they transferred you here." Without being transferred I was obviously very confused, but it became apparent that this organization tries as hard as possible, for it to be as hard as possible to speak with anyone that can know, resolve, or help with anything. I can't speak from personal experience but I would go 5 minutes down the road for places drastically cheaper, that don't hate their residents. read more

I like the location of the apartments and apartments themselves are nice but I can't stand dealing with the apartment company themselves or any of the staff or managers. And if you plan on submitting a request to have your pet as an emotional support animal, they'll deny it! I submitted a letter from my psychiatrist and they denied it. read more

First off, the package situation is a big problem. Packages are constantly getting misdelivered or stolen and management does nothing. They started recommending you deliver to Amazon lockers about a mile away if you don't want packages going missing. When I moved in they said they were working with UPS and USPS to get it sorted out but it was all smoke and mirrors. Cars regularly get broken into and management does not notify residents of the break ins and other safety concerns. I saw someone getting arrested outside of the building and they never sent a single email. Be aware of the 60 day notice required to get out of your lease. If you do not provide written notice they double your rent (or more) for month-to-month situations. When residents comment on our internal resident board, they will deny posts with questions and concerns so you never know if you are getting the full story and what else they are hiding from you. They try to make it seem better than it is. You will see similar responses to posts saying "please give us a call so we can discuss" but nothing changes. When they do respond, they will be rude and condescending. No wonder they have so many vacant units these days. As other posts have said, it's a nice apartment but residents are not re-upping their leases and are moving elsewhere. With the recent coronavirus issue, the management told residents they had to notify management if they are diagnosed as a confirmed case. This is illegal and in violation of HIPAA as they are not a covered entity. Unacceptable practice. Absolutely unacceptable. You are a property management organization and do not have jurisdiction to require people to provide you with their private health information. The property itself is fine but, as the other reviewers have mentioned, it is management that is the problem. Between dealing with all the unnecessary and inaccurate emails from management, lack of transparency, and the high comparative cost relative to the area it's not worth it. You can get a comparable apartment for a better price elsewhere without the headaches of management. read more

I strongly advise anyone to steer clear. I have contacted the office in regards to air conditioning issues since April and have yet to have anything done. They didn't respond for weeks. Responded twice and now it's been weeks again. Outside reeks of dog shit and with this heat, it just makes it worse. They state no smoking but there's cigarette butts everywhere. I was so happy and excited to move to this place! Now I regret is every single day. I know every apartment comes with it's own bs but to pay this much in rent and not even be able to sleep in my own room for 4 out the 7 months I been here is quite pathetic. So I'm sure you can see my previous review this is yet another four months after I have moved out and I'm still receiving bills from this apartment complex not only are they a 2 Star complex but they overcharge the hell out of their guests because they think they can, I don't care how nice the places over 30 grand in 11 months is absurd and still going I left the place flawless and I have hundreds of photos to prove otherwise I bet I actually had the nicest looking apartment after I left out of any other tenants previously you've hadand you guys will never see the rest of that money guarantee that:) read more

There were some very kind and professional staff here back when we first moved in at the end of 2017. I loved the women at the front desk. But The staff have progressively gotten worse and worse. Many of them are incompetent and rude. The main example being the woman who called my husband and asked us to complete our move out process 3 days late and told him it would not cost us extra to stay those 3 days because they were requesting it, not us. They were too busy that week. I knew we Would end up being charged because they are unethical. My husband insisted it was fine because she said it was not extra, but of course they didn't put that in the notes for move out ans charged us $150 extra. They also lied about the deposit deal they offered me when i moved in, which was non-refundable because it would cover all cleaning expenses and i chose that option knowing i couldn't get the money back, because then i wouldn't have to stress at move out about more charges. Well they charged us $180 something ish to clean the apartment after we left!!!! Those assholes already kept $300 from move in and when we left there was not a single carpet stain and nothing broken in the place. We also cleaned it all out. I told them we weren't paying for any of this for the reasons above. They made up excuses and tried to keep the charges. Then my husband went online and they had credited us back each charge I had disputed. We thought they'd accepted our dispute and moved on. Today we both receive letters from collections!!!! Seriously? The low level of work ethic and competency here is pathetic for a place that charges this much for rent. They also randomly decided to put up a glass door locking tenants out from a business meeting room that i regularly used. I had a client appointment scheduled and had the humiliation of having to stare through the glass at the newbie guy working who watched me and ignored me as I knocked and begged to be let in. I would never recommend a place that makes a change like that and doesn't even show tenants the courtesy of advising them of the change. The whole front office knew me and that I regularly had appointments in that office and not one person let me know before I got locked out and was standing at the glass in front of a client. This man was a total jerk. (Again, before him the women up front had been very nice). One of the maintenance guys that morning was also extremely rude to me. Side note, Another maintenance guy (younger, skinnier white male) came in the mornings during his shift (supposed to be working) and would use the tenants gym and stare at girls in the pool. Pretty sure he wasnt being paid for that. read more

Update: I have been moved out for 7 months now. I settled my last payments at that point. Just received a bill in the mail for another $140 from MAA (Sync management). Just realize that they will never leave you alone even months after you settle everything. Firstly, if you are looking at reviews, only look at the ones after April, 2018. I have been living here for 7 months now and for the first 6 months it had been great. We recently had a change in management and all the reasons we came to this complex have dissapeared. The jacuzzi used to be cleaned daily. Now it hasn't been cleaned in weeks and is a disgusting yellow. We used to have free beer and wine on tap and happy hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They canceled all future happy hours and turned off the taps. We used to have events like waffle and mimosa brunch, paint and sip, and yoga classes. All such events have been canceled. This place is expensive compared to other places in the area, but it was worth it due to the amenities. Now that all amenities have been taken away due to poor management, this place is just overpriced. Do yourself a favor and rent from a cheaper place. Atleast you wont have to pay a premium to have no amenities. read more

This is the worst place to live I've lived here when it was ran by another company and it was great came back after moving out and thought it was going to be the same... wrong... only one grill works!!! They have a total of 3!!! They don't shovel the snow until 3 hours after the snow stops!!! I knew I should have reconsidered when I was yelled at by one of the leasing ladies when I was doing my application but my wife loved this place so I just dusted it off now we both regret it don't move her please there's a new place down the road and other in the area if the leasing office was nice and not always in a bad mood when we go in it would be fine they look at us like we bother them they don't even greet anyone as they enter the building this place isn't great don't move here I know I keep saying it but I've seen the difference!!! read more

If I could zero stars I would. With the management change in April this place has turned into a nightmare to live in. First they cut all the amenities and community activities, then they actually deposit your rent check somehow for higher than the amount you wrote on the check which I guess is better than those they deposited twice. All the utility bills are screwed up, my electricity somehow 5 x higher than it's ever been in the 6 months I've lived here. And their online system does not work for payments causing a complete nightmare. Not to mention the fact a light pole was out for months outside my building and as FYI crime is up in our complex makes for awesome feeling on late night dog walks. Oh and the whole non-smoking policy seemed to have go out the window with the new management. DO NOT RENT HERE. read more

When I first moved to sync36 it was amazing the amenities were great the management were nice then MAA took over and took away so many of the amazing amenities. Then for 10 months of my lease I had to write a check to pay rent because they couldn't get my resident portal to work. The management staff ate rude and always seem annoyed to answer questions. When I had put in a maintenance repair on my microwave the repair was done so poorly the microwave had other issues after the fix. In the gym there is always a machine that's down. The hallways no longer get cleaned the dumpsters are always full. At the end of our lease they wanted to raise our rent to 1960 while all the other units were rented out for 1750 they stated we could transfer but we'd have to pay all the fees new residents would pay. I wouldn't recommend this place with this management. read more

Stay clear. Been an advocate for them, always recommended them, and been here nearly 3 years but they are heartless pigs. Mgmt will not let me leave 1 month early on my lease when me and my wife are unemployed for this COVID 19 pandemic. 1 month!?!? I have single handedly gave them over $55,000 in rent all for them to give a hard time about leaving 1 month early. Worst landlord ever. I get that due to COVID, the pool, gym, dog wash station, etc. are closed but not refund, no credit, nothing!! Money hungry and have no care about customer loyalty. Please stay clear. They charge a small fortune just to hassle their loyal tenants. Dog poop every where, cars being broken into, no security what's so ever on the apartment buildings. For this money, you can live in a way nicer complex in the Denver area! Good luck replacing loyal tenants like me during this economic crisis. Will not happen! read more

I inquired about a life situation that came up with me needing to break my lease one month early. This place is ONLY about money. No compassion, no understanding of a serious life situation. If you break your lease, they make you pay 2 months rent. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. There are much better properties and better management companies. I can't keep up with all the management changes. Seemed like every month the staff changed. The grounds are in major need of being fixed. Water and ice pools in front of door ways and stays there for months. Snow removal is a joke. The place is very run down for only being a couple years old. The also nickle and dime once you move out. I have waited entirely too long to write this review. Ever since the management switched over to MAA.. everything has gone completely down the drain. The staff does not give a flying rats butt about anyone who lives here and they treat the residents like garbage. I don't even know where to begin with the amount of problems I've had with the office staff including the maintenance team and they way I've been treated by them all. Every time you walk in the office no one cares to greet you and acts like they are too busy to deal with you. All of their focus is on obtaining new residents rather than maintaining a community of current residents and tending to the ones they already have in efforts to keep their retention rate up. Every single person who lives here says they are moving once their lease is up and is such a shame because the apartments are so beautiful but the management is unbearable. I have had countless amounts of indie late fees that were never applied back to my account or refunded because no one cares to help me out. I walked in the office today to reclaim my expensive giant pool float that was left there overnight to find out they THREW IT IN THE GARBAGE AND THE GARBAGE WAS TAKEN OUT! no remorse no apology.. the most inconsiderate group of jerks I've ever come into contact with. They could've easily stored in in the lost in found for at LEAST a few hours or sent a message out or wrote on the nonexistent resident forum "if you've left anything behind please come and claim it before it gets tossed out" but NOPE straight to the dumpster! I'm so sick of being treated like trash here... I could go on and on and on. Thank God they got rid of the maintenance man who cussed me out over the phone three times over a maintenance issue.. but wow. read more
