I've waited to write this review until we've lived here for a stint. Of course everything is new, fresh and beautiful when you first move in... of course the management will tell you everything you want to hear at first and I've been disillusioned before... BUT EVERYTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS.
My sweet, sweet husband and I moved to the Atria after living in Boulder Heights for the past year, and as a Boulder native (born and raised), I had reservations about moving to the suburbs; however, I work in Denver, and the 3 hour roundtrip commute was killing me. I'm probably giving TMI at this point... I'm sure you want to get to the juicy stuff.
-The apartments are beautiful. Well constructed, and there are a lot of details that most places don't add anymore or didn't think to add when they were built. They thought of everything. I adore the sassy open floor plan, quartz counters (although it's hard to see if there's a crumb... which is both good and bad depending on your personality...but they are gorgeous), dark wood, neutral colors (I love this! I get to play with color in my apartment), beautiful appliances.
- I was apprehensive about living in an apartment after living in a house in the middle of the woods... I was MORE apprehensive about living on any floor that wasn't the top (I don't want to hear people!), but with the way that the apartments are laid out, we rarely hear anyone. It's been one of the quietest places I've inhabited. I am incredibly sensitive to noise, and I'm constantly impressed. I'm 2 months in and I've barely heard a peep!
-I LOVE the trash system. I read reviews of other apartments with valet trash...when it was listed as an amenity, I thought: "what a fabulous idea!", but in reality, reviews taught me that most places aren't very consistent about picking it up. Here, I walk down the hall and put it in the chute and POOF it's gone. The only minus, but it's not worth revoking a star, is the recycling program... It should be a chute like the trash! You have to walk it far, far away, and the lid is usually shut leaving a slit of space to put each item in individually. This could be improved.
-THE BEST THING about this sanctuary is the staff: front desk and the maintenance. Kirsten, and the gang in the office (I'm terrible with names but they're all wonderful!), are a complete joy. Super helpful and sweet. Plus I feel like they're happy to see our big boy, Elvis. Jeff and Brian (maintenance), are fast, helpful, personable and they are great with our dog. I could not be more impressed with the people who work here. I like seeing them around.
The amenities are fantastic. Doggos are more than welcome. Everyone is a dog lover and all of our neighbors are AH-MAHZING. We're in love with the Atria, and we don't care who knows it!
Update: the pool is the jam! Management puts out snacks, coconut water, water, Gatorade, and sunscreen! Yaaaas! read more
