Don't bother. We ordered food and it was honestly inedible. The meat was disgusting. We couldn't even bite through it. The rice and beans are so bland that it's not worth the calories. The chips are basically just triangles of grease. And that is pretty much it read more

Very delicious tacos ! Decent prices and very polite staff ! Came to lowkey taco the second week it opened and was very pleased. Atmosphere and art on the wall was cool ... will go back soon ! read more

The tacos were really good and they have a lot of different types of combinations that you could have. Some of the ingredients I wasn't even sure about, but they sounded very interesting. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job making sure that we had everything that we needed. Interesting place to explore if you're looking for something different as far as Mexican food goes. The only downside was some of the ingredients which were completely foreign to me as far as tacos and there weren't any pictures on the menu that I recall. Overall it was a good place to eat and I would go back. The price was fairly reasonable. read more

Meh. Really meh. Tacos had little flavor. Good service however. I guess I've had tacos from a true taqueria so my standards are high. read more

Food slapped hard. I will 100% be back for more tacos. I called all my friends during my meal to tell them to come get food here. Kaitlyn.. the bartender was fantastic. Very friendly and took care of all of my taco needs. read more

Corn was soggy. Fried chicken was butt. Shrimp was pretty good. Waffle fries not bad. Queso chalky. Tostitos chips were good.

Great environment and service. Food had little to no taste, salsa was below average. Save your money or go spend $50 at Taco Bell.

Just had dinner here for the first time! Cucumber jalapeño margarita was yummy and we made it just in time for happy hour! Tacos were delicious and i love that you can customize them any way you want to your liking! Chips and Queso also great!! Atmosphere was really fun and our waitress was very helpful in answering all our newbie questions. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Lowkey Taco - Tacos Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Came here for a little graduation celebration and the experience was wonderful! Sat outside and got the Neil's nachos with beef, strawberry and mango margaritas and two 2 taco platters(Cluck Norris, Lil Uzi Verd, Young Cheezy, and Lieutenant Dan). The nachos were very filling and came out quickly. The margaritas were also great and not too sweet. The tacos came out at a perfect time once we were finishing up our nachos. My boyfriend and I enjoyed both of our tacos very much and would keep coming back! Service was also great and our waiter was very nice. read more

Lowkey, low quality. The chips are a greasy mess. The guacamole was a salt lick. The pico -- ok, if you want straight tomatoes. The tacos were meh. Overstuffed with overly sweet pickled veggies. So disappointed!! This area needs something non- chain. Eat your tacos in the city, people! read more

Bad taco's, bad drinks, bad atmosphere. Wait staff was so-so. Took a long time to get drinks and chips/salsa, he kept saying "I'll be back" and walking away. Limited menu. Taco's were so-so. Not much taste. Chips were greasy, fried chips. Ordered a pitcher of margarita's and it was full of ice, not much drink. 8pm they turned the lights down and ran some bad lighting around the booths and it was way too dark for a Tuesday night. Won't be back. Very disappointed because we liked Stout. Let down, completely. read more

Lowkey terrible food. The chips are soaked in grease. Good luck tasting them over the generous serving of grease left on them. As for the dips, you can buy better guacamole in the store, the queso is decent but not like authentic restaurants (hard to screw up cheese), the salsa verde tastes like muddled, fresh cut grass, salt, and garlic. The tacos are drier than the Sahara Desert...the shells are held together by some store bought cheddar cheese, the meat is dry. The sauces were the only saving grace, but even that couldn't help those dry shells. The service is good so there's that. read more

Great atmosphere & awesome addition to Robinson! (So sick of all the chains). Had a few of the flavored margaritas and they were DELICIOUS. Could have used a little more tequila though ;) Our server, Khaio, was amazing; so informative and friendly. Tacos were good but tortillas should be a little bigger (extra stuffed so a bit messy). Overall I really enjoyed this place & excited to see how it progresses! read more

So I decided to start a pilgrimage to hit the top 30 taco spots in the Pittsburgh area. This place was rated #1 and was the closest to me. The tacos were good. My fiancee and I both agree on that. We also both agree they were not better than our usual spot in Coraopolis. I'll go again if I'm in the area, but not driving from Beaver County to make a special trip. read more

Lowkey Taco is awesome, owners are top notch and staff is extra special Food and beverages are delightful read more

The manager, Alyssa is as rude as they come. After being told we would have A 30 minute wait, we still aren't seated at the 50 minute mark. There were 6 of us so we offered to take a smaller 4 person table and add 2 extras chairs. We were told we would be seated when they had a table for us. They continued to seat walk-ins ahead of us and ahead of 2 other parties of 4. We then offered to take the corner table and add 1 chair-mind you...there were 5 open tables. We were told we could have 2 tables that weren't together. When we said we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to sit together, Alyssa told us 4 times to stop being SHITTY to her staff. By no means were we being shitty. If anything we were trying to accommodate their lack of ability to seat a rest restaurant. and who tells a customer to stop being shitty? unacceptable so we and the 2 other parties of 4 left and went elsewhere. read more

The service was good, the beer was good, but the tacos were horrible. The two layer shell with a soft and crispy layer was terrible. I could have just gone taco bell. read more

Tacos score a C for me. The only one I enjoyed was the chicken taco. Unfortunately won't be going back bc it just wasn't anything special.

Very disappointing. Tacos were nothing great at all. First we got the pineapple salsa, spicy guacamole and queso. All average. The chips that were homemade were awful. Most were soft and couldn't even bite. We ordered 6 different tacos to try. You have to pay $1 to get the special shell - doubled stuff - the hard shell is way too big for the soft shell and was falling out of each taco. We ended up bringing two tacos home - the swordfish and young cheesy. My boyfriend said the swordfish was awful and threw it out. I bit into my taco to almost break my tooth on a black hard piece of something ?? Very disappointed, will def not go back or recommend to anyone. Check out condado if you want good tacos done right. read more

Sadly disappointed. Greasy, tasteless, way too expensive, small portions (you should see the salad lol). Good people working here, that's the only positive. read more

Delicious and creative tacos. Loved the happy hour $5 margs. Thanks Grant for the best service!

Service was very slow. Don't think the tacos were that good. Small portions of rice and beans.

Cool atmosphere, fun drinks, and nice staff. They are vegan friendly and will gladly double check something if they are unsure.

Went in for some tacos with really no expectations. I was with a group and none of us were thrilled. The salsa and guacamole lacked flavor and the tacos themselves were so small and very mediocre. Service wasn't all that great either so all in all, I wouldn't go back. read more

so gooood and such good deals! Definitely request Grant as a server if he is available!

I'm not sure why the reviews are this low. This place is a great combination of traditional Mexican flavor and contemporary ingredients. Our office orders through Door Dash often and we occasionally visit the restaurant. The vibe in the restaurant is fun and casual. Highly recommend the Johnny Hopkins Taco! read more

Caught the end of Happy Hour, ordered a margarita, it was decent. Not the best, not the worst. Then next came the mexican street corn... It was amazing! I absolutely loved it. Chips and guac were pretty good. I had the fajitas dream taco and the spicy chicken taco, i forget the name of it. Both were excellent. While i loved the food, something about the atmosphere was just ehh. Tables were too close together and music was quite loud. But most likely I will return because the food was excellent! read more

Not good at all. The guac was not completely mashed, lacked salt and flavor and the chips were greasy and over fried. I built my own tacos and the toppings were so basic! The chicken was dry and it was mostly dark meat. The corn tortillas were soggy and had no flavor. Didn't finish our meals and our kids wouldn't even eat theirs. Will never go back. read more

Great food and vibe. It's fun in the summer when you can sit outdoors. Tvs for the games. There's a new improved menu as well

This place is great! Not sure about all of the bad reviews. I think they may have ironed out the kinks of a new restaurant. We had chips, salsa, guacamole and various tacos and everything was excellent! Our server Khaio was fantastic and very helpful in answering our questions. We will definitely be back!! read more

It's definitely LowKey! Plastic baskets and forks! Great cocktails but don't have Grand Marner...WTH! Every Margarita needs a floater! Will re-visit when the patio is open. Definitely a young crowd (because it's inexpensive)! read more

Robinson needed some new restaurant options, non-chains specially and this is just what was missing. The ingredients are fresh, the wait staff is personable, and the variety is low-key INSANE. Now, they have delivery and I have my new go to lunch spot. The herbal edible is my fav but everything is amazing!! read more

This place is delicious. I had the Johnny Hopkins (brisket) taco and my fiancé had the Young Cheesy. Both were delicious. Make sure you get the stuffed shell for the tacos. It has guacamole and queso between a soft and hard shell. They also have 15+ beers on tap and good margaritas. read more

Visiting from Florida and stopped at this taco place while in town. Had absolutely no idea it was new but so glad I visited! My husband and I enjoyed "The Trinity". We loved the pineapple salsa. We ordered the swordfish taco and two others but the swordfish taco which was delicious. I preferred the flour tortillas over the corn personally. Service was great! Our server Andy was so sweet! He was just attentive enough which we loved! I would definitely recommend to my friends! read more

Came with a group we were pleasantly surprised by how little time it took for a table. Had the guac, salsa, and two types of queso all good. We got a variety of tacos everyone enjoyed, the options of shells and toppings were great! Tasty drinks too. I only gave 4 star because it was confusing to find with no signage from road. Probably because its so new, overall impressed. read more

As a former member of the service industry, 5 out of 5 may just be an understatement for how my wife and i feel about this place. We came on a Saturday night right at peak dinner. The vibe.. music, artwork, and constant references blend perfect amounts of nostalgia, humor, and a general good time. Music plays loud enough to enjoy the songs, all of which for the over hour and a half we were there, anyone would play at a party. Greeted promptly at the door by a very friendly little hostess, we were sat in their long row of tables along the wall. Almost immediately our server, Pat, swung by the table to let us know he'd be right around. With every interaction of service Pat seemed to emit the vibes of the entire restaurant through his pores. One of the coolest and attentive servers weve had in a world where we seem to just get mediocre service a best. Even though the place and he was busy everyone that stopped by seemed to genuinely care how everything was. It was great. They were great. The food was amazing as well. When we were looking over the menu, Pat explained to us the new and improved food they have coming next week and offered a couple examples to try. So we bit. Baco Tell - their homage to a classic Taco Bell taco was bursting with flavor even with its simplicity. Amazing. Snicklefritz - i could tell it was their take on an Al Pastor taco, and the pepper sauce mixed with the brisket and pineapple blended with perfection and tons of flavor. We will be back. And believe everyone should give this place a solid try. read more

Yuk! Bad service. Small under filled tacos. Beer selection is lacking. I won't be back.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. Tacos are great, atmosphere is cool. LowKey has a nice patio and the artwork inside is killer. Fresh ingredients, banging' tacos, and great margaritas. read more

Terrible overpriced dinner and blah service! We had the trinity, pick 3 tacos and margaritas. The trinity was the only editable portion of the meal which consisted of chips mostly broken like we received the bottom of the bag, and queso dip that tasted like it came out of a big plastic bag that you get at your kids little league concession stand. The margaritas were way overpriced and lacked flavor, and the tacos were also overpriced and not even editable (pork was tough and way too greasy, shrimp was over cooked and way too spicy [showed only 1 pepper and it burned my lips, tongue and mouth for 20 minutes], and chicken over cooked drowning in way too spicy sauce). The rice and beans were the equivalent to about 2 tablespoons and presented in a small plastic cup (similar to what you put ketchup in at McDonald's). We ate less than half the food and still ended up sick to our stomachs! Taco Bell is better! I will never go back! read more
