Highly recommend. Best tacos I had in awhile. The menu is large but not overwhelming and the tacos were creative and delicious. The atmosphere inside reminded me of being in Mexico. The lighting gave it a intimate club feel which me and my partner enjoyed. There is spacious outdoor seating perfect for a group of friends. The margaritas are very strong!! So much so I had to finish my partners for her, but I was not complaining HA! Do yourself a favor and check out this great new spot with some friends read more

Lowkey Taco - Tacos Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Listen. This is the best place in Robinson, hands down, to eat. The tacos are unbelievable. I haven't had a bad one yet. They have a new menu and the swordfish is gone. I cannot stand all the chain places out there. Low key is the only place with a personality. I love this place and I want everyone to go there! For whatever reason, nobody puts any effort into advertising or anything and this is my plea to make this place popular so that I can keep going! This is in my own self interest, full disclosure. I freaking love this place!!!! read more

I did not care for the food. The flavors were just off and I'm not picky at all. And if I recall, you have to pay extra for chips.

Great food!! Great service. Great atmosphere. Have eaten here 4 times now and have never had a bad experience. We love this place and will continue to come back. read more

Our second time here, LOVED IT the first time, great atmosphere, amazing food. Ran into the same issue as the first time, terrible service. We waited over an hour for our food (which I couldn't even stomach from being so angry) my fiancé's mother had lipstick on her glass of water. I understand what this pandemic has done to the industry coming from working through it in a chain restaurant in management. We had to ask for a manager while our server was hanging out at a table with her friends. She made excuses when all we wanted was a real apology. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant and we will not be back. Sad to have lost what we thought was going to be our favorite taco place to such a sheer lack of customer service. read more

Blahhhhh everything sucks and I'm thirsty. Everything tastes like it's a day old. Customer service is average af. Haven't heard a person mention this place and prob won't. -----This is her man the service is terrible only had one drink server hasn't come over since the time we ordered till the time we left. Tacos are horrible. queso sucks salsa is the worst. read more

If you want artisan Chipotle, this is your place. While I appreciate the creativity and eccentric ingredients, sometimes the tacos are great, sometimes the food quality is subpar. My food has come out cold more than once when it should have been hot. Putting kimchi on a shrimp taco is genius though. read more

Food was very good!! I recommend the brisket with spicy . The margarita was delicious. Our waiter was very nice. the margarita had a lot of ice in it but the manager gave us $8 off when was very nice of them. read more

Tried LowKey Taco for the first time this past week for take out. We had the chips and queso-which were really good! My husband and I both ordered the two taco platters but with different tacos. He loved both of his tacos! One of mine was really good, but the other one I couldn't even eat. The shell was completely soaked and soggy from the sauce. Neither of us cared for the rice and beans either. read more

I stopped at Lowkey Taco with some friends for some afternoon snacks and drinks. When we arrived, we were seated on their patio which was spacious and quaint. When the weather is nice, the restaurant has an open air feel, which is particularly nice during this time of COVID dining. We were seated right away, but it did take a long time for someone to take our drink order and for our drinks to arrive. I started first with a frozen strawberry margarita, which is my classic go to, and it lacked flavor and was very average. For my next drink, my friend recommended the tropadelic margarita on the rocks, and that was sweet and delicious! My mom drank grapefruit monitors that were also really good! The three of us shared a dip trip from their menu, choosing a from a variety of different types of guacamole, salsa, and queso. The portion sizes were huge and the dips were fresh and delicious. Their chips were clearly homemade and had a great crispness to them, but we all agreed they needed to have more salt! All in all, it was a nice experience and I'd like to go back and try some more off the menu! read more

The service was great. I loved the waitress. Everything else was terrible. They were out of all of their Mexican beers, every single one. They put cinnamon in their medium salsa. The guacamole comes from a bag. The cauliflower tacos have no seasoning read more

Super yummy we got the chips and quest as an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS. I got two tacos and a margarita. Service was amazing. I recommend the tropical marg Dustin was very attentive and willing to help us out for our first time. We will definitely be back read more

Lowkey Taco - lil uzi vets and the Dennis macchardee - Tacos Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Two TINY tacos for $11. Our office ordered from here and we thought it was laughable. Will not be returning.

Not authentic Mexican. Although maybe it doesn't claim to be. Very pricey. Frozen margarita machine broken. I asked for 3 different beers on the menu, and they said they don't have them. Gave me the wrong food order. And the beans and rice on the side are a spoonfull served in a little plastic cup (like ketchup). Salsa was bland, queso was not queso. Sad because I wanted to like this place. It's lousy, don't waste your time. read more

Fantastic! Tacos & salsa great flavors! Very filling. Mike the waiter was great! The atmosphere is very colorful! Murals on the walls give you so much to look at. Restaurant is very clean. read more

Best guacamole I've had at any restaurant around here. I love that they have vegan options for tacos. They swordfish tacos are excellent even though they smell very fishy. Everyone here is nice and the food is good. read more

Pretty good! Tip: go for the crunchy shells I don't know if they are homemade but they taste homemade. I got two impossible meat tacos, one spicy build your own and one off the menu. Both were great. Fell apart a little like tacos do but nothing I can't handle. Chips and salsa are really good too. Both taste homemade. Will return. read more

This place has great tacos and great chips and dip. Went during happy hour and had Grant as our server and he was on top of his game!

A few of us came for lunch after it first opened. It's a nice spotwith a lot of graffiti and art on the walls and there is an outside patio that connects to the bar. We all had the taco lunch specials and had about 3-4 tacos a person. The special comes with a small side of rice and beans together. I was hoping for a larger portion but it was tasty. I would recommend Lowkey, has a nice atmosphere as well as outdoor seating. read more

Ate here for the first time today.... And I am so glad I did!! The only thing I didn't care for was the rice, but my Cluck Norris tacos were amazing!! The artwork on the walls is so much fun!! I will be back! read more

Ok trendy taco place and a nice change for the area. However I ordered a taco for pickup while running around and was told the bill was $7.63 over the phone but was charged $9.63 for one taco when I paid with no explanation. They also didn't include any plastic silverware which is pretty standard for pickup orders. read more

I stopped in pre-holiday for a quick solo lunch. The restaurant was empty so it was pretty quiet. My server was very attentive. I ordered queso & chips. The queso was bland & flavorless & the chips were a bit stale. I also ordered one Baco Tell & one Young Cheezy, with Impossible blend instead of meat. I subbed a salad for rice & beans. Both tacos were large & excellent. Unfortunately, the Impossible blend was a $3 up charge PER TACO, which is ludicrous. read more

3 out of the 5 of us got sick after eating here. We are guessing the it was from the margaritas since the 3 of us had them and other two didn't. The food was just okay but I won't be back. read more

Came around 8 on a Saturday to try after hearing the bad reviews and wondering if they were wrong. Sat at the bar Had 2 margaritas (not the house ones) which were made well. That's the only positive here. The place was dead and felt like a night club. Very odd. The chips and 3 dips were $14. The guacamole was just avocado. No taste at all. The queso was just weird. The salsa verde was not salsa but a cilantro dip. The chips were so greasy you could actually wipe them off. We each got one make your own taco and couldn't eat them. The hard shell is a fried chip with so much grease it ripped through the paper. The ground beef was tasteless and bad. The soft flour tortilla was also somehow very greasy and full of liquid. The swordfish was just gross. I can see people coming for happy hour but not a meal. read more

Margaritas are so good. The bartender had no idea what any of the beers tasted like or what type they were. Food was mediocre for a tiny $5+ taco. read more

Great atmosphere, great service. Loved the bar open to the outside deck in summertime. However, Tacos bland and guacamole tasteless (no cilantro and cardboard tomatoes). I had the carnitas. It was ok, but needed some spice, cilantro and crunch of cabbage slaw/ cucumber or something. Corn does not go on an authentic carnitas. The chips were freshly fried and crisp, but no salt. I feel like all the elements are there for an awesome atmosphere, but they need some serious work on the food. read more

I really really want to like this place! They have a dog friendly patio, some really great servers, and lots of drink options (both beer and cocktails). On the other hand, they have some really slow servers and overpriced, not so great food. I love tacos but I have to say at $4 a piece, I expect more than a taco Bell sized taco. I also wish the chips were less greasy and had some salt! read more

The best part of this place is the painting decor. It's very nice. Very pretty. Unlike some other reviews here I have read, I'm not a fan of them allowing dogs on the patio where people are eating. There was a rather large dog that kept slapping a woman behind us with its tail. The woman looked upset about it. I also think it's unsanitary. I was really excited to try Lowkey Taco. We went on a Thursday evening around 7:30 PM. We sat at the outside bar and this is where the poor service started. Firstly, there were maybe 10 people sitting at the wrap around bar total. The bar was a mess and clearly wasn't being wiped down as people were leaving. We weren't greeted with a "hello" or any sort of welcome. Instead, the bartender immediately said, "do you have a tab, I need a credit card." That was the first thing out of his mouth. We gave a card and he walked away. Five minutes went by and he returned for our drink order. I ordered a red Sangria. They were out of that (this became a theme of the night as well). I got a Tequila Sunrise instead and it didn't taste like it had alcohol in it. We also asked for waters a total of three times before I finally got a glass around 20 mins later (seriously). We got the pineapple salsa with chips as an appetizer. That was pretty good. We then placed our taco orders and they were out of the three first choices we made. I ended up getting one chicken and one brisket taco on hard shells. The food came out quickly but the meats were cold. The bartender didn't even know what the tacos were when he brought them to us. The meat would've been good had it been warm and not cold from probably sitting out on a counter in the back. I never got a drink refill the entire time we were there despite putting my water glass to the front and flagging the bartender down. He apologized for everything being a disaster not only to us but to the couple sitting next to us. He chalked it up to them being "swamped", yet it wasn't crowded at all. The service was the worst part of our experience. They need better bartenders frankly. Perhaps more experienced. We resolved to give this place a few weeks to work out kinks and try it again. If they don't improve though, this place won't last more than a year. Get better bartenders, keep your place clean and have enough food in stock!! read more

This place has style! I love how trendy it is! The tacos were creative and delicious and so were the margs! Service was great as well!

The food is amazing and so are the margs, but the service is Lowkey awful (see what I did there). We tried some of the menu tacos and they were really good, but our server was completely aloof to the point that it was actually funny. They would regularly stop over and announce that we're doing alright then scurry away without refilling our drinks once. If the bar manager didn't get us our checks, I'm pretty sure we would still be sitting there. Regardless, I'll for sure be going back because the place is new and probably figuring things out. read more

Service wasn't great; she ignored a couple things I asked for in my order and made a mistake with another part. Staff was friendly though. Soda glasses were pretty small and even though the place was nearly empty, they weren't very prompt with asking if I needed a refill. Chips and salsa are not included which is strange to me coming from Southern California. I tried two of the salas, one with pineapple and their hot salsa I think they called Fresno? It was hot, but for some reason was also sweet and chunky. I didn't like either of them much. No Tapatío. I really wish East US Mexican joints would start carrying this. They all seem to carry Cholula which I really don't like. The shredded beef tacos were OK. read more

I was so excited to see a taco place coming to Robinson!! However, this place was a disappointment. The only good thing we had was the margarita on the rocks and the chips and pico which you had to pay for. The frozen margarita was not frozen - it was super watery. The tacos were dismal. The setup of the menu is bad because you get to kind of customize your tacos. The 'setups' you have to choose from don't really make sense and none of the people we were with really liked any of them and you can't really make adjustments to the setups when ordering. I had rice in my taco and it was watery and soggy. The 'smoked brisket' tasted like it was made in a crockpot. From the bar, you can see into the kitchen which can be cool at some restaurants, but their kitchen was actually pretty gross. The artwork is pretty cool, but we will definitely not be back. read more

Positives first - loved the artwork and vibe of the place. Our waiter was super nice, personable and funny. The food, on the other hand, disappointing. I had the rice and beans, the rice was RAW. The beef lacked spices and flavor overall. Hoping this business is just working out the kinks since it is new. Will try again because the atmosphere and staff and update once it's rolling. read more

Over priced. Food was bland, little to no flavor. Served cold. Cool inside, but I would consider the food a K-mart condado lol

I was just there yesterday for happy hour and I was very displeased. The atmosphere and surroundings are interesting and our waiter was awesome. But that was about it. It started with our $5 margarita Monday which was just average at best. We decided to get one of the half off appetizers which was the trio of dips. The guacamole tasted store-bought, the salsa was was technically not salsa at all. It was pico to Gallo and had no flavor. The queso dip was so thick it can only be described as gross. At that point, we didn't want to order anything else. Even the chips weren't good. I can't say anything about the Rest of the menu but I can't imagine it would be any good. read more
