If I could put zero stars, I would I drove two hours away spoke to somebody over the phone saying that they will honor a price match. I got to the store. I grabbed the items 65 of them and they said we cannot honor the price match. The cashiers were very rude. They told me even if I speak to a manager it doesn't matter. I spoke to a manager, and the manager was the same way very disrespectful. It wasn't the fact that they weren't able to price match it was a way that they came about it just trying to cut me off because there was people behind me. I'm eight months pregnant walking in the store. I carried my own tile because there is nobody in the aisles to help me I waited 30 minutes to have somebody to help me. I came this morning to get mulch and a nice gentleman loaded about 40 bags into my truck for me. As I was watching him load I notice a manager watching and my dayghter later saw that the manager was not allowing the worker to sit. I believe that is cruel. A worker loads up a good amount of heavy duty bags and is expected to continue to stand instead of a little break. I scheduled a dishwasher delivery more than a week in advance, took time off from work, and today the delivery team discovered that my item hadn't even arrived at the store. Kudos to the paint department at the Kuyendahl Lowes! We'd been at a competition company to match paint color. They used an automatic matching system. We couldn't use the paint since it was so far off the color chip. They told us they couldn't match our paint chip. Zoe & Gael at Lowes matched our colors perfectly! Bought some new kitchen appliances the day after Christmas. We went in knowing that we probably wouldn't walk out with anything because of the holidays which was totally fine. First to come was the microwave about a week later, then a week after that we received the dishwasher. At the time of the sale we were told we would have to wait until January 7th, again this was fine. We had everything set up with the install and such. Around January 4th we get a message stating it won't be installed until a month later! A whole month. No call nothing just a message for that day. Here it is the day before the install my husband looks at the update and now it's showing another three days. He calls the 1-800 number and tells the lady this is uncalled for now. 6 weeks we have waited no courtesy call to reschedule, just an update on the site where to check. I guess we are at the hands of them? We are supposed to stop what we are doing, call in at work? The worst part was when my husband asked to speak to a supervisor they asked what reason . He stated poor customer service! She again asked what is the reason? Again he replied poor customer service. That's when the phone was disconnected. This is a joke. Honestly up front would save a lot of hassle. Lowe's do better! I can probably guarantee they will not see this but hopefully someone won't make this same mistake. read more

Don't trust them to do your installation! We had new windows installed and the windows are great, but not only was the first round of installation a month behind, one of our Windows came in broken twice. 6 months later, when they finally came to replace the final window, they broke the trim. When they replaced it instead of using the original hardiplank which is already painted, they put plain wood. When we called them to ask if they were coming out to paint it they said that was "out of scope". we argued that the repair wasn't complete until it was painted because the untreated wood they used wood rot. They just said no. it wouldn't be a big deal but it's a second-story window that's very difficult to access without a really tall ladder (our 20ft won't reach). I gave them two stars instead of one because the quality of the windows themselves is good. read more

Worst Lowe's EVER! Customer service desk is friendly, a few of the employees throughout are helpful but that's where the list ends. Cashiers are rude and slow. I bought blinds and asked for them to be cut. Not only did the blind "guru" leave me to help someone else, she showed them all blinds available & helped them pick some out. Then, get this, she proceeded to cut their blinds before cutting mine. When she finally took my blinds to cut them, she asked if I got the blinds at Lowe's because the bar code wasn't working. 50 minutes later...mind you myself and the aforementioned men were the only ones in the section in the 50 minutes, I finally got my blinds cut. I won't be back!! UPDATE-I did go back. The freaking blinds were cut to the wrong length! The same person tried to help us cut more off to make them correct & she cut them too short! They didn't have anymore in stock so we had to wait at customer service for 10 mins to get a refund for the blinds. Not one person was apologetic for the trouble. read more

I will always be a Lowe's fan. They do customer service better than any of their competitors. There is no reason to EVER buy paint anywhere else. At most big box stores, once they've tinted paint for you, you're stuck with it. Not at Lowe's. You can return ANY paint with no problems. If you're not picky about your exact color, you can buy the returned paint colors at a reduced price. Lowe's has figured out that way they get 2 happy customers where the other guys have ZERO happy customers. I've also noticed that Lowe's is more likely to walk you to the exact location of what you're looking for. Their competitors might just point and hope you get to the proper aisle. Lowe's will ALWAYS treat you with respect. I've seen people return things where it's OBVIOUS they're lying about the situation but Lowe's knows that it's cheaper keep a customer than to try to find a new one. The few dollars they lose on that one lying customer is more than made up for in repeat business. There's one employee, Drew, who's often at the lumber check out. He's the friendliest cashier I've encountered anywhere. As I walk in the store, he calls me out by name and says, "Hello". We've gotten to know each other fairly well over the past few years. Picture of one of my people having to help another customer load his materials because only 1 guy was working on the building supply side of the store and he was gathering carts. Only one cashier who doesn't know anything about building materials and we were asked to go down idles to take a picture of bar codes and prices because she didn't know what they were. Updating my review for this Lowe's, simply because I've been coming here more often and I'm more and more impressed. I often saunter in here by myself or with my grandson in tow. That can be intimidating, particularly when I've been sent here on a mission to purchase something that (e-gad!) I may be a bit ignorant about (hardware is not my specialty). I'll often need to flag down assistance, which lately has been very, very good. My latest find, however, put a real smile on my face: Lowe's garden shop! Many of my herbs didn't make it through our short but ruinous freeze this winter. I was able to find a few replacements at my local garden shop, but their selection was sparse. I wanted dill, peppermint and a robust basil plant. Wow, did I hit pay dirt! Not only did this Lowe's have a fabulous selection of herbs (at good prices), but the help I received was superb. Shout out to Mike in the garden shop for his splendid assistance. My herb garden is now thriving! Giving credit where credit is due. Lowe's has done me right lately. Nice job. read more

Worst Lowe's store I have ever been to... I had HORRIBLE customer service experience at this store 5 times in a row over a span of 3 weeks... I didn't care much about writing a review because I figured it was probably only a one time thing... then the second time was worse, and the third time we just felt like these Lowe's people hated their jobs and made sure they showed it. Every single time that I have been in this store I have had to hunt down employees for help... on my for them to tell me "I don't work that area, but you can push a button and somebody will go find you!" After 15-20 minutes of finding the correct person, they show up with a looong irritated face... as in saying "I hate you, go away, I don't want to help you!" Again, this isn't just one time, it's every single time for the last 5 times, but if I take the time to write about every one of those incidents I would be here a couple of days writing. My wife and I try to keep our professional demeanor and friendly attitudes/personalities. However, these employees still sigh loudly enough for us to feel that we are bothering them... the crazy thing is Lowe's advertises the "best" customer service... hahahahaha!!! What a joke! Our second time there we asked an employee if she could check the back for an item that was showing in stock at their store, but not visible on the shelve... the employee again with an irritated face told us they didn't have it, without checking the back. We showed her they showed 12 in stock on the computer... after begging her to check the back she finally went... and guess what... she had the item in her hand... Today we had to return an item and the customer service lady taking returns was extremely rude and dry. As we approached she rolled her eyes at us and just stared at us with an irritated face. She didn't say a word... we had to greet her... get this... WE the CUSTOMER had to greet the EMPLOYEE. To make matters worse, she didn't even say hi back, she just stayed quiet and kept her looooong irritated face. There is so much more but unfortunately I don't have time to type it all... long story short... NO MORE LOWES FOR US! They have a brand new Home Depot down the street, on 99 and Kuykendahl... we will visit that store and give them our hard earned money. We are currently renovating our home and have spent maybe $10,000-$15,000 in Lowe's in the last month or so... I hope Lowe's goes back to taking care of the customer... they have really really dropped the ball with that and it clearly shows. read more

I purchased a gas stovetop from Lowe's recently and had Lowe's install it. The installation took almost exactly an hour and I was charged $408! For one hour's worth of work. No parts! I called Lowe's and was told that they don't charge by the hour and because there was some cutting to make the stovetop fit, which took about 5', that this was their charge; and the pricing was corporate policy and nothing they could do about it. Not charging by the hour provides Lowe's and their contractors an opportunity to abuse their customer. I'm now suspicious whether the cutting was necessary and was merely a mechanism to inflate the bill. Obviously, Lowe's is not interested in my future business. I'll gladly oblige. read more

Terrible experience with Tiffany the GM and Harold the Assistant Manager. Was going to buy a Coleman golf cart. ALL of them are damaged. Harold looked at the golf cart and after speaking with Tiffany, they said we could get a 10% discount for the damages along with our 10% military discount. After an hour and a half, they then came back and said they wouldn't honor both discounts. Waste of my time. The normal employees were great! The Managers didn't keep their word. Only speaking on behalf of the garden center, HORRIBLE. I would say about 75% of the plants were bone-dry and shriveled up. All of the vegetables and herbs were shriveled and near death, half of the flowers dead. Inside the house plants were just as bad. All light as a feather. The even bigger joke was in the "clearance" section they were trying to sell completely dead house plants FOR THE SAME PRICE AS A HEALTHY PLANT. It's pretty bad when even the cactus and succulents are all wilted and shriveled. Not to mention there was a big water fountain with still water in it with hundreds of mosquitos buzzing around. Clearly none of the plants have been watered since they've arrived here. I wish I would have taken some pictures but I'm never going to step back in here. Yesterday I closed on my home. The dryer went out two days before closing so the seller bought a new one to replace it. I went to this location yesterday to buy the matching washer and two pedestals. When the delivery guys showed up there was a crew that had just finished doing a $3800 garage floor. I immediately gave instructions to the guys to not walk on the floor and to come through the front door. He asked why I bought two pedestals. I explained to him and he responded that they wouldn't be able to put the brand new dryer on it because it wasn't on the same order and there was no proof of purchase. I have back issues and was not told by the associate they wouldn't be able to do this. Next thing I know they installed the wrong washer. Not the one I anticipated on ordering to match the dryer. Again, bad call on the associate. Already frustrated, I was on the phone with the store and spoke with Ron. He tells me the associate that helped me was from mill works and that appliances is not his department. He was not very sympathetic and was not offering any suggestions or help. He took my info and says he will call me back. Meanwhile, I walk out the door to find they walked on the wet garage floor with the dolly. Now it makes since why they were laughing and making jokes. I immediately call Ron back who again was not very friendly or helpful. He tells me he's sorry but that's not Lowes problem. Talk about how to make an already dissatisfied customer turn irate! Sadly, I did not pay attention to the other posters' comments about the horrible lack of customer service with appliance delivery. I ordered a washer and dryer set on July 11 and the earliest they could be delivered was July 20. July 20 my washer was delivered and installed and I was told that the dryer was coming from another store and would be there shortly. 3 phone calls later I was told that my dryer had been sold to another customer who picked it up, so they would order me another one. I was told July 28 was the earliest next date. On July 27 they left a message that my delivery had been rescheduled from July 28 to July 29. When I called back I was promised that I would get a delivery on July 28. At 7 PM on July 28 I called to ask where my dryer was and was told someone forgot to load it on the truck. Also, July 29 was full, so maybe July 30 they would remember to get it on the truck. July 29 I got a call guaranteeing my delivery for between 11 AM and 1 PM on July 30 (10 days and 3 reschedules from my original date). It's now 4 hours past the end of my guaranteed delivery window and the store hangs up as soon as I give my name. They aren't even bothering to lie to me any more. They just won't talk to me. Do not, I cannot stress this enough, do not order appliances from this company or this store. read more

He helped everyone get emergency supplies from wood to water while enforcing Covid rules of social distancing and masks. Just had Lowe's sub-contractor install a new electric cooktop and he did a very professional installation for us. He installed the new cooktop up to the proper safety code as the old one had been installed by a contractor 21 years ago. He immediately noticed our dishwasher was not sitting flush and balanced, so corrected this as he noticed it had not been installed correctly! (Reason for the imbalanced setup)!
