It's awesome seeing what their product can look like in the future, as they have planted trees in ground many years ago! I bought a tipu from there at the same time as another nursery (more expensive) and the Richard's tipu significantly outperformed!! I bought it two years ago and it's a HUGE tree now. Just the other day I received a call back as my Hong Kong orchid had all the leaves fall off, very patient/good advice (most importantly gave hope it's not gone). Thankfully I am already seeing new baby leaves!!

The staff was very knowledgeable, the quality is great, and the prices ( in comparison to the other nurseries in the area ) are phenomenal !! Lisa ( owner ) was great with her response time ( pretty difficult to find in Phoenix we've found ) and her suggestions for our project were spot on. The delivery was fast and they were short handed so the Randy ( the other owner ) jumped in a truck and delivered our trees himself. Amazing customer service- which is tough to come by these days.

Extremely disappointed with our experience here. We spent over $2,000 on plants, and within just…read moreTWO WEEKS, nearly $1,000 worth of them died. The plants showed signs consistent with rot/fungal issues, and several completely collapsed and fell apart shortly after purchase. These were not inexpensive plants, and we certainly did not expect nearly half of what we purchased to be dead within two weeks. We contacted the nursery hoping they would stand behind the plants they sold us, but they refused to replace them or offer a refund. Their solution? $20 off the purchase of NEW plants. After losing nearly $1,000 worth of plants from our original purchase, offering $20 toward spending even more money with them honestly felt insulting. I understand that nurseries cannot guarantee every plant indefinitely, but having this many expensive plants fail within two weeks is not normal. When a customer spends over $2,000 and has a major issue almost immediately, I would expect a reputable nursery to at least make a reasonable effort to make it right. Unfortunately, based on both the condition of the plants and how the situation was handled afterward, we will not be purchasing from here again. I would strongly recommend inspecting anything you purchase very carefully and understanding that if something goes wrong shortly after you leave, you may be completely on your own.

The owner obviously has had lots of experience in agriculture and is very friendly about sharing his knowledge. We enjoyed a long chat by the car after we loaded the trees. He referred us to some other local plant growers for other types of vegetation. Overall, a very painless and pleasant experience. Cash only establishment.
