It's a nice Lowe's, the store is well organized and the garden section and "outdoor living" areas are quite expansive. Staff is friendly and mostly helpful. Also, their seasonal decoration items....specifically Halloween and Xmas blow away most stores except maybe a Spirit Halloween. Of course, it doesn't have everything and neither does Home Depot...it just depends what you're looking for...and what power tools you're aligned with. I find Lowes to be more approachable for the at-home DIYer. Plus this location is convenient to Phoenix South Mountain Residents whereas Home Depot is a bit of a drive. read more

I placed an order online for pick up for a ladder. When purchasing online, the site said there was 4 in stock and the order could be fulfilled that day. The order was delayed, no problem, things happen. But then, it turns out the order can't be fulfilled because the item is out of stock. I have no option to change pick up locations online when I review the order, so I call. Everyone on the phone was incompetent, down to the store manager. They couldn't help me switch locations and couldn't even go back and check in the store to see if they were mistaken. The customer service was terrible. I ended up canceling the order. And get this, I go to THE SAME STORE later that day and there's FOUR of those ladders in stock. It's not that they couldn't fulfill the order, it's that they didn't want to. read more

Once you buy something online ( I ordered a fireplace) they take your money then send you over to a 3rd party shipping company and when I call them they have no accountability as to when it should arrive. We ordered for a special event it's now 10 days late with no promise of when it will come. Never will order from Lowe's again! read more

I took something back i bought from Lowe's because it wasn't the right fit. I asked before i bought the item. If i open this and it doesn't work can i return it. The lady says yes. I return it with the correct receipt. The CS Rep told me i can't resell this item because you opened it and this isn't the right receipt. I brought the correct receipt, and item back with all the packaging. Then i showed her my transaction feed that matched the receipt and price...she goes that transaction and price doesn't tell me what the item was. Well the receipt did because everything matched up. She says i can't resell this because you opened it!!!! I told her...lady do your job and refund my damn money. She was scanning the packaging wrong and didn't know what she was doing with a smart ass attitude. I finally got my money returned!!! I should not was to get stressed out over a return. This lady should learn how to communicate correctly in the corporate world. If i gotta deal with her again...I'll just drive further to Home Depot. read more

I used to perfer Lowes over HD by far. But after a recent refriderator purchase, i'm done! They have switched over to a 48hr return policy on appliances. Thier delivery people delivered the unit, but it can take over 48hrs to cool down after you wait 24hrs to load it up. Of course it never cooled below 50f and I could not exchange it. I had to call the manufacturer and they sent someone out who said Lowes put it right against the wall wich prevented adequet air flow. He said it will be good in 12 hrs. So we purchase food again. It never cooled. So the manufacturer then said they would take 48 hrs to authorize a return authorization to Lowes. They said I have to call Lowes first to start the process and give them the RA number. I have called Lowes 9 times today and when I finally got a live person they put me on hold. I hung up after 18 minutes. I have lost over $300 in food and $1000 dolars in frustration! Now I have to drive all the way there and hope I can get someone to deal with an exchange. I will say I hear HD has adopted the same policy. Don't buy an appliance under those terms! Look elsewhere. read more

We purchased a range from Lowe's and were told that we needed to purchase the cord for it. We did that and then the range actually came with the cord so we needed to return it. The holidays and other issues came up so we were past the 90 days when we tried to return it and they wouldn't accept it, even for store credit. The cord is brand new, never opened, and we were told we needed to purchase it at the same time as the expensive range and now they won't take it back? Horrible customer service. read more

What a fiasco. First, after an "installer" came over to take measurements, I was told by Lowes that the appliance that we purchased (same brand and same size as the one being replaced) would not fit in the available space. Lowes suggested -- and we accepted -- a different brand that they said would fit. Installer arrives with the new unit. Doesn't fit properly without a lot of extra work. He says that Lowes didn't comply with the measurements that he had provided to them. He didn't have the authority to do the extra work so we left the unit in place (unconnected to electricity) until Lowes decided what they wanted to do. This took three days before Lowes responded to the issue, including two personal visits to the store which included one day with a very rude appliance dept employee. Lowes finally agreed to authorize the extra work required in order to do a proper installation. End of story? Uh, no. Lowes uses a company named CRST Home Solutions to do this type of work. I received a text from them telling me that their installer would arrive between 8 and 11 a.m. By 12:45, no installer in sight. CRST is one of those companies who makes it virtually impossible to speak to a live person. Tried three different methods and the third one worked. Spoke with a person whose accent was so heavy I could barely understand her. CRST is one of those companies that think they save money by "off-shoring" their customer "service." (I suspect that long-term they lose a certain number of customers who just won't be treated like that, but that's another story.) I am told that the 8 - 11 appointment was canceled and that I would have to reschedule. No reason, no excuse, no apology, just a "stop bothering me and let me move on to the next victim" mentality. I used to appreciate Lowes for their military discount program and their reserved parking for veterans, but after this installation is done, I'm done with them. There's a Home Depot less than 2 miles away. They offer the same military discount. I did contact Lowes to tell them about this travesty of a company CRST and, I must say, the young lady who took my call seemed to actually care. Nice, but not enough to retain me as a customer. read more

This man refused to help us because it was 5mins from closing. He used foul language as an employee talking to customers and because I took this picture he chased me until he saw another lowes employee then told her I was taking unauthorized pictures. It's 2022 and I don't think he's aware, but lowes has cameras all over the store recording everyone's every move. The manager Vicki flipped us off with both hands when we asked for the managers name as we were leaving the store with the items we paid for. This store and their employees need to be shut down. If this is the way lowes let's employees act regardless of what time it is then this store and everyone in it needs to go. Don't order any closet doors from Lowes.....We ordered 3 mirrored closet doors on Jan 16, 2021, they had Shamrock Remodeling measure for the install, and the doors arrived April 5th, 3 months later THE WRONG SIZE. They reordered them for a July 8 delivery date. The doors weren't delivered until late October with no explanation from Lowes except that they would look into it and call us back, but no one ever called back with the exception of a customer service rep. who apologized for the delay. Lowes told us the doors came in and that Shamrock would be contacting us. I called Shamrock a few days later and they were not aware the doors were in, but still couldn't schedule us for a month until December 1st. Shamrock cancelled the December 1st install date and rescheduled to Jan 4th. Why Lowes doesn't have more than one install company is nuts! I have no confidence in Lowes or Shamrock that they will keep the Jan 4th install date. Next time I'll use my 10% Veteran's discount at Home Depot instead. Buyer Beware. read more

I asked if they could help me cut it as Paul the other day help me cut it for free but don't mind paying . So I turned around and she said to another colleague cut it manually. It's been 2 weeks without a fridge. Have had a technician out three times. Was lied to by the warranty representatives. "You only need to make a list of groceries you lost" You need receipts "We have received the technicians report" They did not "you will receive a refund on your fridge in 3 business days" We did not. We have been lied to and hung up on several times. The fridge is under warranty and no one has been able to help. Please do not buy this fridge. At this point, I'm done with Samsung and done with Lowe's. I do most of my shopping online and needed extra help and assistance with purchasing a gas range that I saw online. I called the S. Phoenix store and spoke to Cheyenne. I was literally on the phone with her for a good hour and asked her a ton of questions. She was beyond helpful and patient with me and encouraged me to sign up for a Lowe's Advantage Credit Card and protection plan. She walked me through the entire process from signing up for the card and making my purchase online. If I could give her 10 stars I would! Thank you Cheyenne!!! I work at a business down the street from this store and we have spent a lot of money here because it is convenient. But I have to say that I avoid shopping here whenever I can. They are frequently out of stock of many items. Their bulk bins of items such as pvc fittings and hardware are a shambles, as if no one ever bothers to organize them and reorder out of stock items. Most, not all, of their employees seem to just not care that you have spent a fruitless hour out of your day trying to find what you need. When I have the time and forethought I will always order from Amazon or visit another local business for what I need. I just wish they weren't so darn close! read more

Was told it wouldn't be a problem to install them by April 1st, after no updates and 7-8 calls where the store would not answer or would answer and immediately hang up I was told it would be on the 5th, then again after multiple calls and going into the store was told the 15th, now it's the 19th and again no one will answer the phone to even give me an update. I live very close to this store and i have always had good experiences here. The people at the paint counter are great, I wish I knew their names so I could credit them here. Checkout lines always move very quickly and the cashiers are quick and pleasant. The garden center could use some improvement. Although everyone there is very helpful and kind, they don't seem to have many people who are knowledgeable on plants or gardening. The most knowledgeable people are the vendors, but you have to go during the workday to encounter them. Regardless, the people there, again, are always helpful and pleasant. I've had to return and exchange things a few times and it went very smoothly. I've never encountered a "lazy" or outright rude employee and I've shopped here almost weekly since buying a home nearby. All in all it's a decent store, clean and updated, convenient parking lot. Just get some garden-guru in the garden section and it would be a five from me read more

The store was fairly empty on Mother's Day which I liked. Went there to pick out color swatches to update our rooms. They had a large selection of colors and they were all well stocked. Then I stopped by the customer service desk and an employee named Axel Inzanza Rodriguez offered to help me pick out a grill and accessories. Axel went out of his way to locate a manager to unlock the chosen grill and help me load it into the car. This store is the worst Lowes that I have ever dealt with. I purchased $4k worth of appliances online in early June with a delivery date of 6/30. They emailed to say the new delivery date was 7/7. 7/7 comes and goes and no appliances. They show up unannounced on the 9th and don't have my fridge. I try calling the store, which was not the store that I selected for the purchase, and they say it's being delivered on the 15th. Well that hasn't happened so I call again and they transfer you and it either disconnects or puts you in an endless loop. I finally get someone on the phone today and now they don't see my order even though the app says ready for delivery. I've asked for a manager multiple times and they never pick up either. Save yourselves a lot of trouble and just shop at Home Depot. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE, the worst management and service I've ever seen in a retail store. I made the mistake of having window blinds installed by Lowe's' and it took a WHOLE YEAR just to install a few blinds. Mistakes were made constantly, and their manufacture 'Springs Window Fashion' provided the wrong blinds THREE different times! Also I had to be the middle-man between Lowe's and the third-party installer 'Rayline' because Lowe's was dropping the ball constantly and not communicating with them. Half the time, Rayline had no idea what was going on with my order. THE CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT BE COORDINATING BETWEEN LOWE'S AND THEIR CONTRACTOR!
