Stay away if you are a contractor!!! I spent nearly $100,000 here last year on materials for customers. Every order that I made had an issue. From the delivery driver accidentally dropping the material and breaking it, to incorrect material being delivered, to forgetting over 50 2x8s, this place really needs to get their act together. I used to go here for the points you can earn to get cashback. I recently lost all of my points because of the new expiration date policy also they're canceling the pro card so there is really no reason to go here. What a mess! Ordered a Bosch refrigerator. It took the 5th and 6th delivery guys to correctly install the freezer section to stop the damn frost feom coming outside the freezer. The DELIVER DRIVER SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED the front gate and tried to leave! Then they said it wasnt their fault! They knocked the gate off the hinges and took the entire frame of a very heavy duty frame. LOWES WON'T do a darn thing! Pathetic! Now hiring an accident investigator and attorney! Unacceptable Service and No Customer Support I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's because I urgently needed one--I currently do not have a working fridge at home. The company confirmed a delivery date and provided a four-hour time window. On the day of delivery, I was told the refrigerator was not in the warehouse and they had no idea when it would be available. When I asked what could be done, the representative simply said, "This isn't ideal for us either." That response made it clear that my situation--a customer left without an essential appliance--was not their priority. No alternatives were offered, no expedited options, no apology, and no compensation. Just a vague explanation and no timeline for resolution. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for a company that sells critical home appliances. I chose Lowe's to avoid exactly this kind of experience. We've always had a great shopping experience at this Lowes location. We bought a new water heater last year and had Lowes install it. No issues at all and the price was better than private installers we called for quotes. In general, staff is always helpful, take time to answer questions. and they tend to have a nice variety of flowers in the spring. They also honor returns when perennials don't grow back as long as you return them within the 1 year timeframe. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Not only am I Having the most unacceptable experience with my local Lowe's store (24505 E Wheatlands Pkwy Aurora, CO), management is completely uncaring and unhelpful- telling me too bad there's nothing they can do but is there anything else they can assist me with! I Ordered a new dishwasher on 11/29 in Person at the store and chose to have them install it since they had an installation rebate-instead of having my appliance repair guy install it for the same price. I was given a calendar of days to pick for installation, which ended up being a couple weeks later on a Sunday (12/14). The week before the scheduled installation, I find out from the installation company that they do not do installs on Sundays so I had to reschedule the installation for today (12/20). This morning a receive a call from the installer who was at my local Lowe's store to pick up my dishwasher-even the My Lowe's app indicated it was picked up yesterday. The installer informs that the product is damaged-something NO ONE at Lowes called to inform me of. Now I'm being told that that they do not have another one in stock and will have to order it and they won't receive it until 1/13 at which time I can then schedule to have it installed. After talking to management I'm told that it is a special order item that has to be shipped from the manufacture's warehouse, which is funny because the day I purchased it, they had more than one in stock. And I'm being told by managers that there is nothing they can do Needless to say I am pissed that I spent almost $1000 on something I need and now have to wait 2 months to receive. I have been shopping at Lowe's for ALL my home improvement needs for more than 20 years and they have just lost a customer-not that they probably care! We paid extra for the extended warranty for our new Maytag washing machine from Lowes. It broke down & they had Aurora Appliance Repair come out (terrible service as well) and they said we had overloaded it and that it wouldn't be covered under warranty. We have never overfilled the washer and when we called back to Lowes warranty service, she said she would reverse that determination and schedule us to get service. Fast forward 3 weeks and they now are telling us they won't honor our warranty and that we have to go through Maytag to have it looked at. We have gotten the runaround at every turn with the useless Lowes warranty. We have bought all our appliances from Lowes for the last 17 years and this will be the last time. Called to ensure they had the lawnmower model I wanted. Arrived and mentioned 1 of the 2 available had damage so only the outside model was available. Arthur did his best to try to give us a discount for the scratches but management refused. When loading, we noticed that it was missing the parking brake. I asked if he would take the part from the damaged unit so we didn't have to unload and wait for new lawnmower inventory to be restocked and Arthur made it a 5 star experience by being there and accommodating our request. read more

Echoing all the other reviews here. Horrible service.. picked up an online order of a deck board. Took about 25 mins to get someone to bring it up front. Abi at the front desk called several people and you could hear them all passing the buck to another person. No one wanted to bring it. Finally got it up front and noticed it was way too long for my vehicle. I asked the associate Andrew if they could cut it and he didn't think it would be a problem. He went inside to check. He came back out and said they couldnt cut it because everyone in that department was at lunch. I asked if there was anyone else that could do it, and he said he would check with his manager. His manager " D" came out and said no one could cut it because they are not allowed to cut. I said this is a Lowes... Ive had boards count countless times.. She said "nope" and walked away. This location we been to a number of times. I'll usually buy a few plants, flowers from the garden center. Cleaning supplies here are abundant and if there's a good deal or clearance. We were shopping for something specific today. And took some measurements before going in to look at the refrigerator. There were. Few good choices and LG has been a go to for us in the past. After a few photo ops we decided on a refrigerator but will have to come back. Also my dad veteran 10% off. The bathrooms were clean for womens bathrooms. But the smell in the hallway was not so pleasant. I'm not sure about the registers if it's only self checkout or registers open like they have at Home Depot. read more

Terrible customer service trying to schedule a double oven installation. Totally lack of urgency for the customer! My purchase of the double oven went great Amy was informative and easy to work with. Then comes time for the estimate for install. The installers measure went off with out a hitch. They mention for me to give 24 hours for Lowes to call me. Tuesday nothing. Wednesday afternoon still crickets. Finally I get frustrated and call Lowes. I get a installation service line not the store. The lady attempts to help me and says I should have a call by the following day. Thursday afternoon Amy finally calls me to tell me I need to come in to sign and pay for install. I tell her I will be there in about 20 (before she goes to lunch at 4). I get there and of course she doesn't have the paperwork filled out and ready to go like she says she will. It want much so I try to stay patient. I ask about delay (since Monday) and to my face she blames the installers company for not getting her the estimate until Wednesday. I sign papers and pay. I also ask for CRST (installers) number and she gives it to me. After a long hold I speak with the installers customer service rep who explains to me that they sent the estimate to Lowes on MONDAY the 8th!!!! It is now the 11th. What a joke. Lowe's sat on my install for 3 day when I have no working oven. Then lied to my face about it. Awesome!!! No sense of urgency and complete lack of professionalism. Thanks Lowe's! Is this how you like seeing your customers treated? Your employees are a direct reflection of you. Today I had the displeasure of visiting this Lowe's location. I had called before I arrived to ask whether or not they had Astroturf in rolls that could be cut. They said that they did and so I headed over. When I got there, I found two Lowe's gentleman standing around, and I asked them if they could come back to the back of the store with me to cut some Astroturf. after a less than cordial response, they came back to the state Astroturf and we discussed the size that I needed. The rolls, 12 feet wide, and I only needed 6 feet wide by 3 feet. They said that they could not cut it that way. And I offered to have it cut in 3 feet and then cut in half they told me that they could not do that either. During the spring, we homeowners are all looking for sprinkler repair parts. This has been the cases for eons. I went to Lowes looking for 3/4 inch shut off valves and vacuum breakers. None are in stock. Lowes allocate small space for most demanded items but also stock sizes that most of us will never use. The same valuable space that's just taking spaces. Inventory control is very bad too. If they are running low, shouldn't that be triggered to order some more? I went to HD, got everything I need. What makes these two box stores so different? The biggest question is why do I waste my time knowing that it will be time wasted trip? Stupid of me, I went back and ... didn't find what I was looking for. I bought a shower door over a year ago with cash. Lowes wouldn't refund the money or even give me store credit. This shower door was in stock still, but they don't even offer a restocking option which I would gladly pay the fee. I said I was a veteran and my name would be with the veterans discount. Apparently, the system doesn't track that. So, I'm out over 500 dollars, it's interesting I was able to return some plumbing parts back to Home Depot that were over a year old. No receipt, Home Depot gave me store credit. I guess Lowes system was updated November of 2023, so now all returns have to be within 90 days. I would give this Lowe's location zero stars, if possible. Try calling any department at any time of day. A surly phone receptionist (let's NOT call this person "customer support") will immediately put you on hold without giving you a chance to respond. If you select a specific department--any department--you'll hear blaring, scratchy hold music or the line will ring incessantly from 8-20 times until you're either disconnected or rerouted to the same surly receptionist. Try asking for a store manager: "He typically doesn't take calls from customers. You'll have to speak with a department manager." I don't have any complaints with the employees at this Lowes. They are great. The management and policy changes are reprehensible and stupid. Methods and processes for online order in-store pickup are chaotic and unreliable. Telephone service to in-store departments require overly long wait times. Many times I get hung up on by the automated service. Socialist distancing rules in the store are chaotic and confusing. The lines are long as there are not enough folks manning the registers. There are no self checkout lanes at LOWES. Home Depot provides much faster service for PRO account holders in all processes. read more

I went into Lowe's to complete the last session of my custom blinds order, thinking that my trip would only take 15-20 minutes because all I had to do was sign the contract and pay. However, due to the incompetence of many Lowe's employees', my time was not valued as the visit lasted 3+ hours and my dissatisfaction was dismissed! First, when I arrived at the home decor section no one was there. After waiting for a while, we rang the bell to ask for assistance. A man came by, stating that he usually doesn't work in that department, but would try to assist us. As he had pushed my blinds order through to the front to invoice so I could pay, he mumbled about how he didn't know what was happening and was clearly ignoring that I had concerns about what was going on. During this time, the employee who was supposed to be working that section returned and took over, saying that the job was being completed incorrectly. Already being at Lowe's for 30 minutes, I hoped that the situation would be fixed/completed soon-- I was unfortunately very wrong. While the Lowe's employee was trying to fix my invoice, I noticed that my order was not even correct. Then, I had to spend the next hour showing the Lowe's employee that she was also incorrect and one of the windows that was measured was not accounted for in the order -- I personally walked through line by line with her to show her that we just need to add the missing window, then had to read off all of the measurements for her to re-enter the order because she didn't trust herself to do it correctly on her own. One of the reasons why my visit was so drawn out is because the computer system was so dated and finicky and, to make made matters worse, the employee admitted that she didn't know how to use the software to cancel the prior invoice and resubmit the corrected version -- this goes to show that employees are not being properly trained in how to assist customers! To add to my frustrations, the manager who did know how to fix my order had gone on lunch and didn't return for 45 minutes --why are there not more employees trained on how to fix issues? Finally, after being in Lowe's for 3 hours I was checking out, so I asked the manager how Lowe's would compensate me for the incredibly frustrating experience. I was told that nothing could be done-- she did not offer an additional discount, she didn't offer a gift card to try to invite me back, and she told me 'You're already getting a good deal on the price'. I am astonished that Lowe's would not admit that they were in the wrong, and baffled that no additional compensation was given to try to keep me as a returning customer. I walked out paying the same amount I would've if the job had been done correctly, after spending 5x as much time and effort at Lowe's than I should have -- if I had not already spent all the time and effort to complete my order, then I would've taken my business elsewhere in a heartbeat. All of these items have created much more work on my side and, like I mentioned, could have been solved by Lowe's if proper training was done and if any single person had taken the time to do their job and do their due diligence to review my order information with me before preemptively pushing the incorrect order through. Please know that I would definitely NOT recommend Lowe's to anyone and now actually go as far as warning people to avoid purchasing through Lowe's at all costs. Clearly my business was not valued. We went in and purchased blinds. We were helped by Covell and Chance. I was also assisted by Lauren and Eric. Other associates in the department. I believe that Covell is the department manager. We found some that we could take home, but We had to order 2 separate ones because of the size. The order wont be in until mid July. We left with the rest....They would not cut them for me, So a week later, they sent an installer out to cut them and put them up for us. The installer arrived and told us, "We don't cut blinds." I explained that the store said he would, because The store won't cut them for me. So now, I have no way to hang the blinds because they need to be cut. I returned them to the store on 6/26 for a refund. I am refunded for the ones I return, and I am told the order is suspended and cancelled (see attached screenshot from their computer) and I am refunded. When I was in the store today doing my return, the customer service representative, Nicole said I could get a refund for the order as well. While I was speaking with her, one of the other service agents, a man by the name of Brian, said the same thing that happened to me, happened to 3 other customers, who also were returning this morning because they were sold a service that did not exist. I received a call from Lauren in the blinds department tonight (6/26), that The order for the 2 blinds has been cancelled but I am only getting a partial refund and a gift card. Even though I was promised a full refund. She said it was "Very weird, and I don't understand why. I can't get it to return the full amount to your card. I can give you a merchant gift card." The amount was unclear, It was about $141 and some change. I do not recall the exact amount. I was so upset. I could not believe after being a customer for so many years, that they would treat me this way. I asked where that refund amount/number came from as it is not the amount of either of the products. She said she did not know, and that I should be getting a full refund. I told her that was not acceptable and she put Megan on the phone. Megan was the manager on duty. I explained that I was sold a product service that does not exist, and I wanted my money back, as I had been promised by 4 other staff members. I was never told that I was unable to cancel for a refund. EVER...and Lauren and Eric both said it needed to be done in the computer. The manager would not let me speak the the General Manager of the store to explain I had been sold a non existent service, nor would she let me speak. She told me to come pick up the gift card when I wanted. I told her I did not want it, I wanted my money back, as promised. She then hung up on me. I contacted Lowes to ask for the name of the General Manager and it was not provided to me. After a week of calls, 4 trips to the store and false promises, I will NEVER shop there again. Just did my first online purchase from CA to have my daughter pick something at her local Parker CA Lowe's. It was fast, efficient and super easy! Once I completed my order, I received a confirmation email. I called the store and informed them I would not be the one picking up my purchase. They took my name, order number and the name of who would pick up the purchase. One hour later, my daughter picked up what I bought her and before she could drive home and call me to say she had the package, I had a confirmation email from Lowe's the package had been picked up! Went to Lowe's Saturday night and waited to find employees who could answer questions. Finding any employee was challenging enough but neither of the two we did find had an answer to our question. We had to return Sunday. Today, a similar experience. Asked for assistance and they paged someone but no one came. Spoke to three employees and no one could help to include knowing where the product we needed was located in the store. Even when they looked on their inventory technology they each carry with them. We looked on the Lowe's website and went to the location indicated on the website but the product was not there. We spent 38 minutes looking for screws for cement backboard and kept getting the run around (look where the dry wall is, look in hardware, look in aisle 3). We will page someone with no one responding. We walked out and will frequent Home Depot! Ridiculous so many employees can't help customers! If you look at my reviews, they are almost all 5 stars. My mom taught me the golden rule long ago and I almost always practice it, including online reviews. But the Parker Lowe's has driven me to leave this review in hopes that a manager might see it and implement some changes. Some of the employees are very helpful and showcase good customer service, but the majority of my trips to the Parker Lowe's have resulted in frustration, dissatisfaction and wasted time. Today after my visit, I called to speak with a store manager to voice my concerns with their lack of customer service and (again) wasn't able to speak with a her or him about it. After gathering up various items from around the store, I went to the garden department to try and locate a misting kit I had researched online. The associate outside seemed annoyed that I was asking her a question and told me "we don't carry those". I politely said to her that online it said the store had 44 in stock and she told me to go look in plumbing. Doubting that they were in the plumbing department I went inside and scoured the indoor garden center without success. Not seeing a single associate on the entire south end of the store, I went to the return desk to ask the associate there if he knew where they might be. He said they don't carry them, and when I showed him in the Lowe's application where it said the store had 44 in stock and gave him the item number, he said he couldn't see where in the store they were and told me to go find someone in the indoor garden center. Having another person waiting behind me, I went ahead and did another walk through in the indoor garden area. There were two women waiting for assistance near the barbeque grills who had been there the whole time I had been in the store. I asked them if they had seen any associates and they had not. After waiting another 5-10 minutes without seeing any employees, I went back to the return desk to ask if the associate could page someone to help the three of us waiting for assistance in the indoor garden area which he did. Another walk through and 5-10 minutes of waiting, no one came to help us. I attempted to check out with the merchandise I had but the line was backed up from the self checkout all the way to the tool isle. I walked back through the store, put my merchandise back on the shelves where I got it and drove straight to Home Depot while I called the store manager. When I arrived at Home Depot, the two ladies looking for help with barbeque grills were being helped by an associate. Imagine that.. I have been shopping at this store for over five years and it is the same experience nearly all of the time. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but my shopping experience is almost always terrible. Please hire more employees and create a program where your associates value the customers who walk through your doors. People crack me up - You got to Lowe's one time and wait too long to return something or at the Pro Desk and give them one star. Give me a break! This place is GREAT! We have a rental house and a home in Parker, and I've been here literally 100 times. Yes, you might have to actually walk around to get somebody to answer your silly question about sprinklers, but the prices are competitive, the salespeople are knowledgeable (if they work in that department and if they don't, they'll find the right answer for you) and it's very clean. I feel like Lowe's is to Home Depot what Target is to Walmart. Contractors often go to Home Depot. Home owners shop at Lowe's. It's nice and even my kids like it! Enough said.
