UPDATE: I ahe to update this review based on a customer service experiance i had in store. I went in to get some poajt samples mixed again. Ended up spaking with one of the mangers, a Mitch for an extended period of time. He could not have been nicer. I mentioned that one of the samples I had purchased two days prior was both not mixed completely, not was not the correct color - it was WAY off from what it should have been despite the label being correct. He comped me one of the samples I went into for that day as compensation, making the botched one essentially free, which I was not after but I appreciated. However the real customer service came in when I got to my car and could not find my phone. I am a content creator and work primarily from my phone. So loosing it is a huge hassle for me. I went back in and looked at the two places I had been - the paint counter and self check out. Not there. Mitch saw me, apparently looking frantic and stopped me to see if he could help. He proceeded to walk me all over this store. Got another manager involved who affered to check security footage. There was a woman working the customer service desk (I believe her name was Dana but I may be wrong as this was a few days ago) who immediately offered up her personal Iphone so that I could log into my findMy iPhone and let me walk all overt the store and out to the lot with her personal phone. It innitally could not find it so we all assumed my phone had been stolen. But then it came online. We were able to locate it 0 it has somehow fallen out of my car and behind the back wheel without my hearing that (how I have no idea) but the whole process took 20ish min and Mitch and Dana completely dropped what they were doing to help me. On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, I went to this store to purchase electrical cable. There was no one working in the electrical department, so after waiting for a long time, I went to the cash register to ask for help. A person who identified himself as the store manager said he could assist me. Before going to the store, my electrician had texted me a supply list clearly stating #2 cable. While in the store, the manager went to the machine, selected a cable, and said, "Are you sure? This is a big cable." I asked him directly if it was #2 cable, and he said yes. I explained that this was what the electrician requested. Because the manager continued to say the cable was "big," I called the electrician while standing in the store, and he again confirmed that we needed #2 cable. Based on the manager's confirmation, he cut the cable, and I completed the purchase at 12:23 PM, as shown on my receipt. When I got home, the electrician immediately told me the cable was not #2, but 2/0 cable, which is significantly larger and more expensive. My wife returned to the store with the cable while I stayed to help with the installation. The same manager refused the return, stating there were no returns on cut cable. I did not make a mistake -- the store manager did by selling me the wrong cable after confirming it was #2. Despite having proof of the requested size, the store refuses to issue a refund, and corporate has been no help. Be aware: not even a store manager seems to know what they are selling. read more

Our experience with Lowe's carpet installation has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. We moved into our home a month ago, and because the existing carpet smells so bad we can't even have people over, we prepared by completely clearing out and disassembling all our upstairs furniture, leaving us sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Without any prior communication, they sent only a single installer for a job under 1,000 square feet--clearly a cost-cutting move to keep overhead low. Because a standard one-day job suddenly became a multi-day ordeal, it completely derailed our lives. I work from home and had already taken one day off; I couldn't just take a second day off on short notice, and with the house torn up, we had nowhere to put our dogs with zero advance warning. Because of their total lack of communication and inflexible scheduling, we had no choice but to cancel the installation. But to make matters worse, Lowe's is now trying to upcharge us with a delivery fee just to drop the carpet off so we can figure out a different solution. Shifting the financial and logistical burden onto the customer after completely failing to deliver is appalling customer service. read more

We went here after our dryer and dishwasher broke. The store looks like a Home Depot, but with maybe a better lighting. It used to be good with helpful people showing the appliances, and assisting other customers. However, when we arrive to the appliance area, we were greeted to a nonchalant person who was mostly interested in getting her shift completed. While she wasn't rude to us, she didn't explain the features of the appliances unless we asked in advance. There was a specific brand we wanted, and she quoted a price that looked right after all the taxes, extra, and fees, but didn't know there was an extra discount added that prevented us from getting a rebate. When we came the next day, another salesperson explained, so we bought another brand to get the rebate. The appliances (dryer and dishwasher) were delivered on time, but we did see some kinks on the dryer. At last it is working for us at the moment. The whole store still looks modern and spacious, but I did notice that it is mostly self checkout lanes now. Thus, not much service in the checkout. However, the people in the returns area were friendly. Another funny thing I noticed is they did some theming during Halloween and had those yard animatronics they were selling. Unfortunately, one was a huge jump scare, and pops up towards you when triggered by motion. I heard a loud noise, and when I looked back, it was the animatronic popping out. If it came towards me, I would have freaked out! But they have more happier decorations during Christmas holidays. If Home Depot is a Walmart of home improvement, then I would say Lowe's is a Target. While it is clean, spacious, and should have all the home improvement stuff you need, the service could be more helpful and energetic. read more

Lowes sales person said delivery could lift stove over 42" counter. Several other Lowes' personnel, including management confirmed. Lowes set delivery dates only to cancel or not show up and then accuse us of not being there. When they did show up (over a month after ordering stove), delivery persons said they do not lift anything above waste level. Results are we are without stove almost two months after Lowes initial misrepresentation. We had same or even worse results eith flooring ordered from Lowes. read more

This place never ceases to amaze me in the negative way. It's convenient but, the way they run it is a hot mess. During covid they created a line outside for returns. A while back for pick ups you used to just bring your online confirmation, go to a register, they print out the receipt and it's waiting for you or you go out back in the garden area to pick up pavers and such. There's never anyone who wants to help nor is anyone ever around to help. There needs to be a designated person for the garden pick up area. This store causes their own problems by making consumers run around to several different locations. The eventual walk back to customer service even though the son said for returns not pick ups and then customer service didn't have my pick up ready for me anyways. I've been this close a few times now since I used to work pretty close to it. This time, I went in for some paint for my baseboards. There was only one person ahead of me at the paint counter, so the wait wasn't very long. I brought in a piece of my baseboard for color matching, and they were able to match it and get me what I needed quickly. As far as the overall experience, it is laying out like a typical Lowe's. If you've been to a different one, you'll know exactly how this one feels. The store was large and clean, and well-organized. There was plenty of parking outside. The self-checkout registers are extremely handy, and there's almost never a wait. For some reason, people don't like to do it themselves and we'll rather wait in line for a cashier. If you're there around a meal time, or just hungry, the hot dog stand out on the sidewalk is always fantastic. I've ordered from them several times. Few things be a good street dog! read more

Went in today with a very simple request; find a piece for a slide on a bi-fold door. Not only could I not figure out where to find the part, once an outside vendor at the store flagged an employee down to help me, the kid could not get off his PERSONAL cell phone long enough to help me. Eventually, the kid pointed and said 'down there on the right.' That was BAD, at best, but then I asked another 'seasoned' employee and he said he was busy with another customer. Okay, I will wait. When the 'other customer' did not return, the employee said 'what is it?' I showed him the track piece and he said 'how old is this house!' What the heck difference does that make? Either you have the part or you don't!!!! The employee then said 'mam you have a good eye. This might work.' And then I was dismissed. This is the poorest excuse for a Lowe's I have ever set foot in, and I have been in this store literally hundreds of times over 20 years, typically with the same lack-luster result. Though this may be the more convenient store, I will NEVER set foot in this place again, and I mean NEVER, EVER. Today was the last and final straw. I bought this tree two weeks ago and I even bought the preserver powder. It's the smallest tree I've had and more expensive then last year $65 for a 5 1/2 foot tree that is dead before Christmas. I have bought my tree from Lowe's for the past 12 years but this was the LAST TIME I WILL EVER BUY FROM LOWES! I was told by corporate that they couldn't do anything and then the store itself told me that I had to return it before Christmas to get a refund for it. I keep my tree up until after the new year but I had to take it down Christmas night because the needles where piling up. Bought a brand new lawn mower on March 20th. It was a Honda got home put the oil in it gas in it tried to start it pulled between 10 to 13 x wouldn't start finally started cut the yard seem to run fine wash it off put it back in the shed not much rain in March and April Florida from March 20th to the next time I had to cut the grass and so had been six weeks since I cut the grass go to try and start the mower pulled a 10 times finally started made one trip around yard mower died. So I took it back to Lowe's to see if i could exchange it for another mower but they told me their policy is if you don't bring it back within 30 days that you can't exchange it you have to get it repaired. Not what I wanted should not have an issue with a brand new HONDA mower. They send it out for repair and don't bother to call and tell me it is back from repaired sat at the store for 17 days. They try to charge me 121.00 for said repairs. There diagnosis was that it had a bad spark plug stale gas in the tank and a clogged air filter. Don't know how they could tell that seeing that there policy is they won't expect a mower with gas so I to go home and empty it. So I go to the store to pickup mover and go out to see if it will start I pulled a couple times no luck associate try and it starts but motor revs high then low continuously. I said I was not happy and wanted a new mower. I was told no and I had to accept it and work through the problem. I will never in my life ever walk into a Lowes let alone buy anything from there store and I incourage anybody to do the same. read more

Only my daughter was home so they put it in the garage. I got home, pushed the furniture about 4 feet and now there's room but after calling delivery twice, we can't get them back! I have been going to this store for over (2) years only because it is close to my house and I think I have experienced good customer service about 10% of the time. Went here to pick up some additional supplies to complete the tiki bar that was being built for the family for Christmas. Believe alllll of the reviews. We needed to find a specific item and even had item numbers and the first guy we asked, Dennis was sitting at the flooring desk just told us to go to the back wall. He didn't attempt to get any of the item numbers or even put them into the computer to tell us what aisle anything was on. Then there was a lady that at least tried to help us but also gave us the wrong aisle number for our shiplap. The nail in the coffin was the guy who was more concerned with playing with his flashlights on aisle 16 then helping consumers. He got an attitude with me because I asked him if he could simply look up an item number, and tell me where it was and we could get it ourselves. How are you going to get an attitude with me because I'm asking you to do your job? He told us we would need to go to the flooring department and that he couldn't help us because it was not his department. His name was Ergio ... And I guess he must have been out of his element because his name tag even said tool world so shame on me for thinking he would help us outside of that! This is absolutely ridiculous, so ridiculous that I'm in store writing this review real time before I forget any of the important details, like names. I recently had to return a large rug I had bought here and it was no hassle, in and out. I was asked what was wrong but was not badgered about it or asked any follow up questions. The return policy is 90 days with receipt. I once called ahead of time to ask if they had a specific plant I needed and the employee I spoke with was more than happy to check on It for me and even gave me great directions on where to find it in store when I got there. The first one was a nice older lady. I told her I needed some tiles for a bathroom she quickly flagged down another employee that knew exactly what I needed... and i also purchased a new toilet. He made sure i had everything i needed for the next couple days so i was able to finish the project without driving my big ass truck back and forth. And I mean that in every regard... ;) I've saved oodles repairing light fixtures, sockets, etc. I've purchased wood for building a deck, floor laminate, and even paint for my interior walls. Check me out! But I still pay a Mexican to cut my lawn folks. I am a college educated uppity Mexican and I hate sweating unless I'm at the gym or running a 5k. Just sayin'.... I would give this place zero stars if I could . I went in to buy a dishwasher and was going to take it home that day . Being in the middle of kitchen renovations I needed it the next day . While I was there I ended buying a refrigerator and since delivery was free and next day I decided to have dishwasher delivered with it at the same time. The next day when they were delivered the delivery person said the dishwasher would have to go back because it was missing a screw to keep door closed. He then told me to call the delivery number to reschedule which I did and the guy on phone said I would get an automatic call between 7-9 Pm telling me my delivery window. I never received a call so I called them and they said it wasn't scheduled to be delivered next day but 28th. I proceeded to call Lowe's store and spoke to Mitch you assured me he would have it delivered and take care of it first thing in morning when he came in. Next morning I called and Mitch wasn't scheduled to come in until noon and no one knew what I was talking about. So a different manger John helped me. I asked for a refund on everything at that point included a pick up on the refrigerator. John was able to assure me that he could still have it delivered that morning or afternoon . Once again I decide to give them another chance to get me my dishwasher. I leave and then receive a call from the delivery place asking about a refund (not knowing I was suppose to authorize anything or what to tell them. So I decide to go back to Lowe's to find out what's going on. The girls at the counter were unbelievable unprofessional and rude. I was met with eye rolls and attitude by Linette and Bridgette, while I waited 35 min for the manager John. In the mean time I'm told by Patricia that John sent her up front because he's on the phone . She says I should have authorized a refund to delivery company . WHAT?! No one every told me this! While standing there I attempt to call back delivery plane and was hung up on twice . After waiting forever with the rudest staff on there phones laughing and looking at social media , John arrives. He was the only professional person there and says he been working on it all morning and was waiting on an e-mail from delivery company . I tell them I would wait and either wanted a refund on both appliances or confirmation an e-mail was received . Just then Mitch from night prior night's conversation shows up and says it's all taken care of and it's loaded on truck about to be sent. What a stressful experience, you better bet I will never give a dime of my money to Lowe's ever again . Thank you Lowe's for having me drive up there twice in the rain with a toddler just to be treated like crap and given the run around . I kept telling them I was waiting for someone from the garden sept and they just put me back on hold. I ended up hanging up and went to Home Depot the next morning instead. A guy named Laurence, who worked in lumber literally just got in my face and tried to start a fist fight with me over cutting lumber. His coworker had to get between us. He refused to cut the lumber because it was past 8:30 and we had too much. We said that we were happy to pay the additional cost and he said that we couldn't come in at 8:30pm and ask for that "and shit." I didn't see a sign or a policy stating that. I told him and the other guy that we were going to Home Depot instead because of this guy's attitude and language and pointed at Laurence. That's when he got in my face and said "What you wanna do?" I said, "Are you seriously trying to fight me here?" He said that I "disrespected" him by pointing at him. We left the store while he was still jawwing at and went to Home Depot to spend our $1,000. Word of advice Lowes, hire some classier people. I'm in your store once a week and Home Depot has my business from now on. read more
