Stopped in really quickly to check out the Christmas Decour. Everything Christmas wise was 50% off which is a great deal however right now it's not in my budget. I did a pick up three Windsor Newton watercolor tubes for $1.27 each they were in the clearance section. Winsor newton is more of the high end watercolor supplies so I'm actually pretty shocked I found some in clearance. The lady at the counter was super nice; however with Christmas being 50% off the stores very busy and if you don't like crowds I wouldn't recommend going on an afternoon. I actually really like everything in Hobby lobby; I love the assortment of craft supplies to home decor to puzzles and candles etc. if you haven't been here I definitely recommend coming to this hobby lobby. 10/10 read more

I have been a longtime Hobby Lobby customer and have used their framing department for years, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. My $350 custom framing order was significantly delayed, I was never contacted about the issue, and my daughter's birthday came and went while I repeatedly had to follow up myself. When I finally spoke with the store manager, Joshua, he was aggressive, condescending, dismissive, and made me feel as though the situation was somehow my fault--in front of other customers. He would rather remove my artwork from the completed frame than offer anything beyond a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but customers should still be treated with respect. Unfortunately, after years of shopping here, this experience has made me uncomfortable returning to this location. read more

Hobby Lobby has to be one of the most overwhelming stores to ever exist. They have literally anything and everything you can possibly think of -- much more than your typical craft supply store. Most recently, I noticed they started carrying children's toys and baby clothing... just in time for Christmas. Like, what? I guess they really want to be a one stop shop for all your gifting needs. Don't get me wrong... I love it, but I have to go there with a very specific mission and a list of things I'm looking for. Otherwise, I'll just end up wandering aimlessly up and down every aisle for hours finding a million things I want but don't need. And then I'll spend another hour talking myself out of every purchase lol. The good news is if I need anything craft related, they have it. But I can never find anything on my own. I almost always have to ask for assistance to locate items I'm looking for. In my floral design days, I was here on the reg for projects and I really liked exploring their dried & preserved floral selection that has continued to expand. I've scooped up some unique florals here in the past. Their current selection of dyed bunny tails is so good. I decided to stop in this past weekend to shop their sale on all the holiday decor. Wow, it felt like half the store was dedicated to Christmas. I perused every aisle and just couldn't decide what to buy. There was a lot of stuff I liked, but the decision fatigue was real. I ended up purchasing some honeycomb paper ornaments and trees that were 50% off. They're very classy and chic and I love how they can collapse down for easy storage. But that's all I got and somehow I always come home covered in glitter. read more

Terrible customer service. They won't help. The selection is garbage. They don't carry so many holidays. It's all over priced garbage. Avoid at all costs. Try a company that doesn't hate others. read more

Rudest staff ever ! I lost my car keys here and the lady in front of the store made me describe every single key on my key chain and was treating us like we were dumb when i told her the make and model of the car and what the keys looked like she continued to quiz me about my keys and treat me like I was stealing my own car. On top of that the check out lady refused to wrap my mirror that i had just bought and insisted she didn't have any bags big enough but when i didn't take no for an answer she pulled out a perfectly sized bag for my mirror. I don't know why old retired ladies hate their jobs so much but hobby lobby should really get some nicer staff. read more

I would describe Hobby Lobby has more a collection of bric-a-brac than strictly merchandise based around hobbies. Well here on our way since Saturday, I picked up a figure meme built with nuts and bolts of a saxophone player, a pair of novelty socks, some Marvel comic merchandise and a figurine of a guitar player made out of the same nuts and bolts. Parking is plentiful and the store was nicely laid out. These were all on a 50% off special that was being offered that day. It is a pretty cool little shop and I can see returning here great. I would definitely give it a recommendation. read more

Hobby Lobby is an arts and crafts store that carries more than the two other leading arts and crafts stores, that is Hobby Lobby carries more in each category and more categories. For example, Hobby Lobby carries a huge selection of scrapbook supplies and a much more extensive selection of seasonal decor than competitors. Hobby Lobby also carries other categories of products such as miniature doll houses and furniture not found elsewhere. However, Hobby Lobby is not an artist's supply store, that is if you need specialty artists supplies go elsewhere. For example, Hobby Lobby carries a few sets of Faber-Castell colored pencils not all the individual pencil colors and doesn't carry Prismacolor, at least that I can find. Hobby Lobby carries aisles and aisles and aisles of seasonal decor, well in advance of the season for planning purposes. Hobby Lobby is a one-stop shop for Christmas decor. Hobby Lobby has two aisles of Christmas trees, and an aisle of tree skirts and stockings. Hobby Lobby also has ornaments galore, sold individually and in box sets. Hobby Lobby offers a variety of decoration themes which include ornaments and accessories each year such as gingerbread to spark ideas or make decorating easy. Additionally, I appreciate Hobby Lobby has ornaments specifically for miniature trees, also in a variety of themes; I can always fit an extra little tree somewhere. They also offer Christmas themed wall art to switch out for the season. While I love decorating with Santas and Easter bunnies, I also appreciate remembering the the reason for these seasons; Hobby Lobby offers a variety of Christian products to aid with this during the seasons and for everyday decor. For example, Hobby Lobby carries a variety of nativity sets, crosses ornaments, wall crosses, Christian wall art, Christian Knick knacks, and dishes. Hobby Lobby also carries a selection of Christian stamps, stickers, and lunches for scrapbooking. Like it's competitors, Hobby Lobby also lacks sufficient staff to help customers. Trying to find someone to help takes patience which is not always rewarded. Pro-tip: go to the checkouts and have the cashier or cashier manager call someone to come to you if you can't find someone easily. Pro-tip #2: Hobby Lobby has a 40% off one regular priced item posted to their website. Hobby Lobby doesn't accept competitors coupons. read more

This was the 1st Hobby Lobby I ever visited and I love the amount of crafting options they provide. You can find pretty much anything you need to craft or decorate. Christmas I'd my most favorite time to shop as they have an immense amount of decor and there is usually sale prices or if you download their app they offer a 40% off any regular priced item coupon. Happy crafting! read more

Endless possibilities abound here. The store is HUGE and the options go forever. This is good and bad! It's easy to get lost in the offerings, but it's amazing to have so much choice. Prices are good if you get stuff on sale or have a coupon. I'm not a fan of paying regular price here cause stuff always goes on sale. Check the website for printable coupons. Staff is usually only at the front of the store at the registers and the registers are always backed up. Don't think I've ever waited less than 10 minutes to check out here. I highly suggest them for seasonal merch, decor, and art supplies. If you're a regular crafter just needing a couple things quickly, this isn't the place to go. Overall: B Good if you have the time to look and get lost in the options. Not good if you just need a couple craft pieces and to get out. read more

I went into the Hobby Lobby Store#696 on 2/9/24@ 17:30 hours. I received thee worst customer service from the front end manager who wouldn't provide her name or the name of the manager on duty. I was explaining to her that a sign was in the wrong place and she began to go back and forth with and not hearing what I am saying nor going to the spot where I told her these items were placed. The treatment I received was like I didn't have money to pay a $27.11 bill. I don't have an issue with that just please be mindful on how you are placing signs throughout the store because they can be misleading to other customer. read more

This place is amazing! I was looking for frames to put pictures in and there was a lot of choices. I ended up buying frames, canvas and other things that were not on my list.n This is place is also very good for people who are into crafts. There is a section of the store dedicated to crafts and boy does it have a wide range of selections. When I went to the store here was a 50% off sale on select floral items and I ended up getting some. I also noticed that there was a huge sale on comic book/ movie poster art. I was also really glad that they gave me 40% off one item even though I had left my coupon at home. This store is for anyone who is crafty just trying to redecorate their home. I would say Hobby Lobby is an alternative to JoAnne's and Michael's when it comes to crafts. read more

Wow!!!! I agree with Rayni, Jo-Ann Fabrics or Michael's watch out! This is like the arts and crafts and home decor Old Time Pottery really wishes they were. Don't get me wrong, I love me some OTP but my first stop at Hobby Lobby yesterday blew me out of the water. I am not sure what I was expecting but wow was I overwhelmed, in a GREAT way when I walked in here. So much to take in, if you don't have a list, you are bound to - get lost - spend too much money - get things you never needed - buy gifts for people months ahead of time - lose track of time I needed ribbons, lots of them and boy did I hit the jackpot, all ribbon was 50% off, SCORE! Everything was so organized, it was a true pleasure to shop here. The staff, eh, not so much but I didn't need any assistance so I just dealt with it. This is my new stop to get paint, baskets, home decor, art supplies, frames, frames, etc.etc.etc. Can't wait to go back!! read more

3 Stars for a hobby store where I challenge you to need something they don't have (and challenge you to find something they do!). Get ready for your head to explode. This store is larger than you'd expect and is chock full of everything a crafter would likely ever need and then some. From home decor to scrapbooking to fake flowers and fabrics - If I tried to list everything they carried I'd hit the Yelp limit (the elusive character limit I've yet to reach...). Tons of inventory is great on the one hand, but it also means immediate stress when you're needing to run in to grab something quick. I'm sure it's no easy task to organize all of these nicknacks, but somehow it feels like things are not arranged in the most user-friendly, intuitive ways. I've always had a terribly hard time finding things (even when I'm in an aisle with similar items) and it's not easy to find an employee to point you in the right direction. I will say that if you do find an employee they are always extremely friendly and are quick to find the appropriate item with you, there just aren't many walking around unfortunately. For this reason I really only ever go in when I have plenty of time to wander around and explore the rabbit hole that is Hobby Lobby. Pro-Tip: Always go to their website, under the Weekly Offers, for an in-store coupon (usually 40% off any one item). Much like Joann's- there is always a coupon and you should never be paying full price (unlike Joann's, they won't tell you that at the counter!) read more

Love this place! I was so overwhelmed the first time going in! I was there to buy items to put on tennis shoes for the Orlando Magic gala for their tennies contest they have every year. I had no idea what I was looking for or what I was going to put on these shoes. I remember walking around aimlessly until I figured I'd ask an employee for help! I was so vague and just told him what I was there for and he was such a great help! He spent almost half an hour with me going around the store in search for the right fabric paint colors, jewels, basketball items, etc. and found me everything I needed! So the customer service is great and the store has everything imaginable. You do however always end up spending more money than you wanted to, buying things you weren't there to get, and spending way more time than anticipated in the store! It can get you into trouble if you're not careful! I'll take Hobby Lobby over Michaels or JoAnns any day! read more

Hobby Lobby is a great place for a number of things. I'm not really any artist myself, but that would obviously be #1 as they are primarily an art supply store I would say. However, they also have a large portion of the store devoted to sewing supplies (fabric, yarn, etc). But what makes Hobby Lobby unlike some others (Joannes, Michael's) is that they also sell all types of home goods such as wall art, nick nacks, baskets, mirrors, etc. So it's an art store, fabric store, and bed bath and beyond all in one. I have 2 complaints about Hobby Lobby: 1. They are closed on Sunday, which is the day I'm most likely to be free to go run errands 2. They have a weird way of handling their sales. It's like half the store is on sale one week, then the other half the following week. I bought a picture frame there last week and came back for another today and it was no longer on sale. So I now have to wait until next week to go back and buy it. It's just weird. read more

Large store, as I think all hobby lobby's are. Always have sales. They are notorious for their 50% and 40% sales. I mostly go their for their wall decor/art, holiday decorations and picture frames. They also have fabric, silk flowers, outdoor accents and furniture. Pro tip - if you download their app you get a 40% off coupon. It can only be used on regularly priced items. Plenty of parking. They are closed on Sunday's. Every time I have been there I have waited in a lengthy line at check out. Perhaps they need more cashiers. Also, there are not a lot of staff roaming the floor to hell you locate items. read more

Hobby Lobby - Promo for downloading their all - 40% off coupon! - Arts & Crafts Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Hobby Lobby has everything! For any arts and crafts that you do, or home decor, they have it. They have awesome sales every week so keep an eye out. They also have an app on the phone with a load of coupons you can use too. The store is pretty organized and well kept. I have seen a lot of craft stores out there where there is dust and not maintained. The only reason why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 star is because the staff could sometimes be a little bit more pleasant. I have run into several associates and when I ask them a quick question, they would suddenly walk away from you to the aisle of the item that you're looking for. It's great that they walk you to the aisle but it's just weird not acknowledging my question. read more

I find the name slightly deceiving. Hobby Lobby makes you think of a Michaels/Jo-Anne store, and yes they are that BUT...additionally they have a big Home Goods style selection of decor that need no crafting knowledge. Just set it on a table or hang it on a wall. I find the prices to be a bit higher than I would like but on the other hand there are many items that I have not seen in another store at all. So if you want...guess you have to pay the price they choose. The staff is always friendly here and the store is clean and organized at this location each time I have visited. read more

I have been hearing about Hobby Lobby in Orlando from friends, so I was excited to visit. When I walked in, my 1st impression was like "ok...I'm getting an old time pottery feel". After walking through 2 isles...I realized, I could get addicted to this place. It was a combination of old time pottery, Jo Ann's, Michaels and more all wrapped up in one. My business requires me to use a lot of craft materials that I order online for great prices...but the wait aggravates me. This place had everything!!!! Since the store is very huge...and my time was limited. I was up and down isles...hoping to see things I would need for my future projects. As time escaped me...I realized I did not find what I came for. Partly because I was like a kid in a candy store. The staff was great from floor to the cashier. Everything was set up so perfect, I didn't have a problem finding someone to help and on top of that....I received 50% off my purchase. Now that was the kicker read more

Decent store with all the craft items you could need. Located in a strip mall. Easy parking right outside.

If you can go to any other craft store in the area just do it ! The customer service here is terrible I asked where I can find an item the lady said idk maybe somewhere in the floral area and walked off. On another occasion I asked if there was fake snow the lady said no after I looked around I found the fake snow. I don't want to search the entire store for an item I expect basic customer service. That's too much to ask for clearly . read more

I love coming to hobby lobby when I need to pick up art supplies for a project I'm working on. It's a big store with a lot of stuff to look at when your browsing. Not long ago I stopped by here to drop off a picture I needed framed. As I got there I waited to see if anyone was around to help me or I would have to go down the aisles to flag someone down just to get some assistance. I try not to go here during lunch time or weekends since it can be overly busy with a busy line. read more

I went here looking for ball chain for some necklaces I created and came out with a lot more than that. Great selection of findings for jewelry making. Selection of beads isn't that large but worth a look. The home decor section takes up the most space. Fabric selection decent. This isn't a one stop shop for a crafter. They do have things other craft stores are lacking so they earn there 4 stars. Check it out and judge for yourself. read more

This store is like a crafters heaven! Haha The store is clean for being so big. I love the variety of art needs. Although they don't take competitors coupons, they will let you use the coupon again if you get in line again. LOL! Even if I don't buy anything every time , it's fun to just walk around and see what they have for the season. The always have a sale on the seasons selection followed by a bigger discount towards the end and then clearance off whatever is left after the season/holiday! I frequent hobby lobby once a week, it's an obsession. I could spend hours looking at everything. This location is the nicest I've been to and the employees are all so friendly. I purchased a large piece of furniture and two gentlemen brought it to the register and loaded it into my car. Very helpful and kind. Their home decor always goes on sale and they have amazing deals. If you have the time I recommend you browse every aisle, you're sure to find great deals. Wether you DIY like myself or you're looking for decor ready to go this is the place to be! read more

Holy crafts! I'm used to a Michael's set up, so when I walked in, my brain just exploded glitter and ribbons everywhere. I'd like to consider myself a little artsy-fartsy, and if I have an image of what I'd like to create in my head, my method is to find that one piece that will bring the project together, and accessorize from there. I'll stalk the aisles, find it, then remember other things that would fit, then go back. Needless to say this store is so amazingly huge, this method did not work well for my first trip in. But, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it for what it is, and all they have to offer. Prices are very reasonable, maybe even a little better than my normal craft shops. Hobby Lobby Round 2 is planned, so now I know the layout and selection, (fingers crossed) I'll be more successful this next trip. Wish me luck, and if I don't emerge from my check in within a few hours, send help! read more

I love the Hobby Lobby and always find the perfect things for my home there. I was in the area and decided to stop by this location because I had never been. This store seems much smaller compared to the store that I am used to. It was a little hard trying to figure out where things were, as the layout was completely different. I didn't feel like this location had as much variety as my store, I will say that the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked about where I could find a couple of items and and I was pointed to the right direction both times. I would definitely come back again. read more

Wow, this place is huge. When I walked in I could not believe how much stuff was in this place, and they I remembered the space used to be a Circuit City with a catalog pick up center on the side. It's HUGE. The first front 1/3 of the store is home decor/seasonal decorations. Lots of fun stuff for Halloween and fall, so I was occupied awhile. Reminds me of the type of merchandise you see at Old Time Pottery and Kirklands. The remaining 2/3 of the store is a good selection of typical crafter stuff that you see at Jo-ann's and Michael's. Got some great deals, better sales for comparable items to the other craft stores. I'll be back. One odd thing, they close at 8pm on weeknights. Most/all retail in this shopping center closes at 9PM, so FYI if you are planning on hitting this space close to that time. read more

This place has some GREAT crap. You know the stuff I mean. Wall filler, fake plants, decorative bottles and boxes, etc.. They have a really good selection of crafts and quite a few things that are getting harder to find, like dollhouse miniatures. I got lost in here for at least a good hour and ended up with way more stuff than I needed. It was easy to do, but good news, the prices are good so I didn't break the bank. Sweet. This place is pretty great for people like me who buy junk and say "man I know I can make something cool out of this... someday" then end up with a garage full of pipecleaners, beads, craft glue and feathers. read more

If you've been to any other Hobby Lobby (and I've been to a TON), this one isn't much different. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing. As far as large chain craft stores go, Hobby Lobby is one of my favorites. I would equate it to Michael's and Jo-Ann's rolled into one. They have a little bit of everything. Essentially, all your project needs can be found here, from jewelry supplies, to material, to yarn, to framing, to scrapbooking. That's just naming a few. I also LOVE their home decor section. They have an adorable selection of amazing things to make your home look awesome. And all at a reasonable price. I'm a DIY and craft addict, so I could spend hours in this store brainstorming my next project. So much inspiration everywhere! Pro Tip: If you find yourself frequenting any of the big three chain craft stores - Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Jo-Ann's - it's worth mentioning that all three have an app where you can access coupons. And there are ALWAYS coupons. If you're paying full price for something at any of these stores, you're doing it wrong. I'll also mention that they're closed on Sundays to let their employees worship and spend time with family. I think that's really cool. Just be sure to get your craft supplies before then! read more

This place is the best arts and crafts store in the area! It is always super organized, the employees are nice, and they have so much stuff! They carry accent furniture (shelves, fancy desks, wine racks), art, and of course art supplies, craft supplies, scrapbooking, wedding stuff, party stuff, fabric and knitting supplies. Also their framing department is fantastic. Their prices seem much lower than neighboring Joanns, and they have a much larger selection of products.
