I had been looking forward to attending this class for over a year and chose to celebrate my birthday here with friends and family. We were all very excited, which made the experience even more disappointing. The class started an hour later than scheduled, despite the website stating that participants cannot join if they are more than five minutes late. There was little to no explanation for the delay. Once the class began, it felt rushed, likely due to the late start. When I asked for help, staff often stepped in and fixed things themselves rather than showing me how to do it, which defeated the purpose of creating my own pottery. I also asked questions about air bubbles in the clay and the firing process but was not acknowledged. This was especially concerning, as I later discovered that my bowl cracked during firing--something I was specifically worried about. Additionally, the glazing and firing processes were not explained at all. When we moved on to painting, we were left to figure things out on our own without guidance. The class is advertised as making a bowl, but the final product was much closer to a small trinket dish, which was another letdown. On top of everything else, they lost my pottery when I called to check up on it and it had to be found. Given that we spent several hundred dollars, I expected a much higher level of instruction, organization, and communication. The overall experience, combined with the complete lack of response to my attempts to address these concerns, has left me deeply disappointed and regretful that I chose this studio.

When you get inside they do have carts over to the left hand side of the entry. The store itself is clean and well-kept. There were some things in random areas, but that's probably due to customers putting things back in the wrong area. The biggest issue here is the cash register area. They have not updated it so that it's one line for all the registers. They still have the old fashioned way of doing it where every register is step. There was a person who is returning items and this caused the line to back up to about 10 people deep. With only one cashier. They did bring up another cashier but it really didn't help move things along very quickly. The store itself looks like it's a little bit dated as well. I think the whole thing could probably just use a facelift and a bit of a modernization to match its sister stores in the area and it would do just fine. Overall: B An update to the way the registers are set up and a little bit of a modernization and this place could easily be a 4-star and up.

I had not been to Sam's since they moved across the street a few years ago. As a customer I went for some colored pencils and the staff was extremely helpful in finding items for a gift. I was walked by a staff member to several areas of the store and items to choose from were placed in my hands while the staff member explained the features and made recommendations. The level of customer service and help is something you don't commonly see in retail stores these days. The store has a tranquil vibe which makes it fun to browse the many gift items. Their stock is unique in that they carry a breadth of items that are high quality at a range of prices. You can spend a lot of time here finding inspiration and treasures. They offer art classes and during the Christmas season they offered free make and take craft classes. They had a small cardboard 'house or cottage' setup inside the store with tables stocked with all the supplies you needed for that weeks's free project. This was not just for kids. My friend and I had fun making gift tags the day we were visiting the store. The store is beautiful inside and out. The beautiful murals that cover the outside walls echo the beauty and fun you will find inside the store. Since they are popular the parking lot can get pretty full.

Cards are about in the ~$6 range, which compared to some of the cheesy cards you can get at target for the same price isn't too bad. Most of the selection is catered towards gifts, cards, and party supplies but they do have some stationary stuff too. Not sure I'd drive out of my way to come here again, but if I find myself in the Lake Baldwin area I'd definitely swing by to see what's new! This is a new store to the Millennia Mall. This small shop has such a fun variety of toys, games, arts & craft items, and a neat selection of unique gift items. Reminded my of a Learning Express store, so we are happy to have something similar back in the area. The associates greeted us upon entering, and were are friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and they were readily available to explain and demonstrate products. We were able to find a game that we couldn't find anywhere else locally, so that was a win. Their prices are comparable to high, however with their fun selection of products that you won't find everywhere, it's worth the specialty store prices. We didn't have too much time to shop around, but I definitely plan to make a trip back soon for more fun finds!

I had a wonderful experience at Hobby Lobby that turned into an unexpected life lesson for my…read moredaughter. My daughter and I visit often, but this time she went in first to pick up yarn for a project she's working on. I joined her about five minutes later, and of course, she had already gathered as many mini balls of yarn as she could & luckily, they were 30% off! After shopping, we headed to the checkout, and my daughter, who's 15 and learning how to manage her own money, wanted to pay for her items herself. Her total was around $120, but she accidentally handed the cashier $220. Without hesitation, the cashier kindly returned the extra $100, and my daughter hadn't even realized she overpaid. I was so impressed by the cashier's honesty and how calmly they handled the situation. It turned a simple shopping trip into a real-world lesson about responsibility, awareness, and integrity. I'm deeply grateful to that cashier for being so thoughtful and honest... it really made an impact. Thank you, Hobby Lobby, for hiring such amazing people.

Here is my take based on the past 3 orders I have made-…read more Pros: No doubt they have a vast selection of papers and custom made die cuts, layouts, etc. They have just about everything you could need for whatever event or occasion you want to scrap. Their prices are on par with every other store out there and there is always some kind of shipping deal. Cons: I don't know if it's just my bad luck or what, but every order I have placed with them has been incomplete due to out of stock merchandise. They obviously don't keep a real time inventory system and allow people to order items they don't have which is very frustrating. Even more annoying is the email I just received today telling me that one of their own in house created die cuts in no longer available. What?? That's like having a Cricut and not ever using one of the images to make a cut again. They can make whatever they want when they want. It's not something that they have to order from an outside vendor. The other big frustration I have with SYT is how slow they are to ship. I placed an order on the night of Oct 23rd. Just today,Oct 31, I received the out of stock email and still have no shipping confirmation. Really? It takes a week to pull together a $50 order? Each time I've ordered it's had been really slow to ship. I don't recommend ordering from here if you are in a rush unless you are willing to pony up the expense for expedited shipping. Give them time or you may be disappointed. Sadly, based on this latest disappointment with SYT, I will be thinking twice about placing an order in the future.

This after they charged my credit card IMMEDIATELY for the purchase. And, they will only give me a store credit for cancelling my order (if they can't ship orders, what's the point of a store credit??!?) when they clearly have not started my order. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
