Such a dangerous store for a lover of crafts!! I like to do DIY and crafting of just about any type, but my main things are paper crafts and vinyl crafts on my Cricut. This place has plenty of supplies for both! I like that they have standard products that will always be around, but also offer seasonal and holiday items as well. You first have to make it past the fun decor displays to get to the crafting stuff. This is where I got caught up and left with a framed bathroom sign (see pic) for our daughter's bathroom. So cute!! They have regular vinyl sales and that really helps out with keeping my crafting costs down. I try to get standard colors when they are on sale so I have stock. They get really good low prices on seasonal / holiday items right before the holiday happens and just after it ends. Get some storage and same 'em for the next year! I don't normally shop from this company, but I was killing time in the area and stopped to look around. It was actually a lot of interesting stuff throughout the store. It was almost overwhelming how much there was to see. In the end I did find one item that I bought. I had seen this hanging Fallout sign posted by some other people and they had a couple in stock. I had a wonderful experience at Hobby Lobby that turned into an unexpected life lesson for my daughter. My daughter and I visit often, but this time she went in first to pick up yarn for a project she's working on. I joined her about five minutes later, and of course, she had already gathered as many mini balls of yarn as she could & luckily, they were 30% off! After shopping, we headed to the checkout, and my daughter, who's 15 and learning how to manage her own money, wanted to pay for her items herself. Her total was around $120, but she accidentally handed the cashier $220. Without hesitation, the cashier kindly returned the extra $100, and my daughter hadn't even realized she overpaid. I was so impressed by the cashier's honesty and how calmly they handled the situation. It turned a simple shopping trip into a real-world lesson about responsibility, awareness, and integrity. I went to this store the day after Thanksgiving. It was a little after 10 and there were quite a few people there. Everything was well stocked and I was only looking for some stockings and found them easily. Great craft store and found out Christmas items were all 1/2 off so that was a nice bonus. People weren't necessarily social distancing but only at the cash register. I will come back but only during non busy hours. read more

Typically I go to the hobby lobby that's in my hometown, but I was on my way back from an appointment in Orlando and made a pitstop at this location. The store is laid out almost identical to the one that's in St. Cloud. But holy cow when I walked in there were two registers and about 15 people in line. That definitely made me have the feeling of wanting to walk out. I went in solely looking for baby boy nursery decor, nautical theme. I found some great pieces only ended up purchasing one. I also went in to the cricut section to see if the rumors were true that they had vinyl on clearance. They did, but it was all in holographic and patterned, which I'm not a fan of, but I thought it was cool to see the actual cricut brand of vinyl on sale for two and three dollars. I stood in line for about 3-4 minutes and they opened up another register which I was the first to go to. Cashier was not engaged whatsoever, I had to tell her that the debit card machine wasn't working because she still needed to hit the button. I don't remember her name. I'll be back but I'll make sure to go to the store in St. Cloud as it's never quite as busy. read more

If your looking for "stuff and/or things"...... this is the spot. I sat in the fury chair in the aisle people watching while my wife did the majority of purpose driven shopping. I did however wander and admire the contents of this big box home goods/craft/stuff/things location. We have purchased items from this store before for our home and feel that the prices are average to maybe slightly above average. Definitely not "cheap" stuff in the way. I would liken this to a cheaper more selective version of Kirkland's. read more

The store itself is a 4/5. The employees were nice and the store was kept clean and very organized :) The quality is 0/5 I'm sorry but now I truly understand why they ALWAYS have a 50% off sale. For example: the store WANTS you to pay 10 dollars. So what they do is put the 20 dollar price tag as "original" price and then have a "sale" so you think you are getting it cheaper. There are SOME items that are okay quality but it's extremely overpriced... higher than Marshall prices. The furniture is DOLLAR GENERAL quality. I'm not being dramatic. I went in and felt the low quality. The wood chipping were obvious and the furniture is lightweight. I spent about an hour in the store and only came out with one small item. I rather pay a little more but at least what I get is good quality and not something that will deteriorate over time or worse look obviously cheap. They have a TON of signs but again the quality was awful I decided to leave it and go somewhere else. read more

I've been a Hobby Lobby shopper for a few years now and the ones here in Orlando all seem to be flops. This location was once a step up from the Millenia location in customer service but that's obviously not the case anymore. All these locations in Orlando could use a refresher course on how to treat guests. We had gone in to grab a few items and sadly it was close to closing time for them. This was my fault as I didn't look at the hours of operation before I had decided to leave my house. We got what needed and decided to look around A little while walking up to the front. After the first announcement that they were closing. They then followed up with more announcements every 5 minutes AND flickered the lights to give customers the hint. For giving such a constant reminder for customers to bring their purchases to the front they sure did make the check out process incredibly slow. I finally got up to the front of the line when the guest in front of me decided she wanted to split her transaction to capitalize on the 40% off promo you get when you go in their website. Naturally I would have been fine waiting but since I also work in retail/customer service as a manager I know how they feel and found the next person to check me out. This was where my experience went from good to bad then ultimately worse. My cashier, Stella, made no attempt at conversation, no eye contact, and quickly scanned my items to tell me the total. I had noticed that something was rang through incorrectly so I asked if she could fix it as it was placed with other like items by a sign that said 50% off. She then gave me push back and reminded me twice that I was wrong and that it was not supposed to be there. I didn't put up a fight (which she acted like I had) and proceeded to call her "Customer Service Manager" over naked Casey (I believe). She looked at the promo told her that I was wrong, but "if I wanted the item" to just do it. She didn't look at me, wasn't happy, and walked away with a grimace look on her face. Needless to say, I apologized for the inconvenience of them altering the price for their mistake and informed them that a little customer service would have been appreciated. They way they treated me was not okay. I will be calling corporate tomorrow to let them know about this experience as well. read more

This place is amazing. The store itself is huge. They have great sales pretty much all the time and if you join the rewards program you are sent amazing sale coupons. I think I need a second job here. The store is very clean and organized. The staff is extremely polite and knowledgeable. They have even given me several great suggestions to make things easier in my new crafting hobby. Great décor items for just about everything you need to decorate. Bathrooms are very, very clean. The parking lot is even well kept. They offer several different types of classes as well. A schedule can be found when entering the store as well as the sale paper. This is not the first time I come to the store. I come from to far for this customer service?!. I was looking for help but the person I found I thinks was the manager she was unprofessional in her answer for my question of a piece of furniture they have. "Only what ever we have on the floor is what we have,our truck came today and the other staff and assembly the other furniture"- manager answer. She didn't ask me what furniture pice was. I only wanted to know if they have other one because the one I saw was a little damage with scratches and bumps. "Whatever we have on the floor is what we have right now, you can come back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."-manager. She turn and didn't contact other staff member to help me , I left after that really annoying for the way she answered to me. We love this store and can spend hours shopping here (and spend lots of money). The people are always so friendly and love the great Christian customer service that we always receive. There is always a huge sale, which makes the decor more than reasonable for purchase. I no longer have to visit Ross stores often for that great deal/find on decor. Always have their mobile app handy and other stores as well (michaels, joAnns) where they will accept competitor coupons. I, my husband and even my daughter found stuff to decorate our new home. My daughter even asked Santa to bring her specific items for her room! . Just make sure to check their hours before you leave! I was surprised one evening when we they announced they closed at 8pm. If you are looking to decorate a new space, I highly recommend this store as you can find them all throughout Orlando (I wish there were more stores in Tampa when we lived there). I love Hobby Lobby and was so happy when they opened one on my side of town! They have everything you could every dream of, and the prices are not bad at all. Don't go when you are in a rush, as you will want to wander around and go up and down each aisle. The only issue is at check-out. The cashiers have to ring up each item and then key in each item separately if it is on sale (which the whole store seems to be on sale!). I feel bad for the cashiers as it is very tedious and can be very stressful if it is busy. They should program their system to know what items are on sale. read more
