One of the newer brands of shops that's popped up in a lot of malls. It reminds me of a Spencer's gifts without the vulgarity and a hot topic without the Goth only aesthetic . Box lunch is more of a post shop with little sections. They catered to very specific fandom's. Sometimes there's a section dedicated to Harry Potter, sometimes there's a section dedicated only the Emperor's new groove. The sections usually change to what's popular at the time. It makes gift buying pretty easy if somebody enjoys one of those specialized niches. read more

This store is a nerd's paradise. They have different items from your favorite TV shows and movies. Items can't be a little pricey, but they tend to run deals and have a pretty decent selection in the clearance area. Sometimes it's better going in store than it is to order online because of the clearance area alone. The store is clean and organized. It's a pretty decent size. I like how they have the lounge fly bags in one area so you can see the entire selection. Sometimes they'll have different theme bags and they are separate areas, but most of them are easy to find in one. Every time I go into the store I'm always greeted upon entering. The service is friendly and helpful. If you're at the mall I would definitely recommend in the store. read more

Almost $40 per shirt? Jeeze, they're really nickel and dimeing you! We bought two shirts for about that price each but a previous purchase gave us boxlunch money which made it $20 off, but I didn't like that the buy 1 get 1 30% off did not stack with that deal. My mom left her pretzel box at the counter without realizing and we walked out the doors and immediately turned back to grab them, we weren't out of the store more than 30 seconds. The worker threw out her pretzels in literally the 30 seconds we were gone. I'd understand if we were gone for a few minutes but we literally only took a few steps away before realizing it. $8 down the drain for a fast mistake, the whole experience really made me not want to come back to shop. read more

I stopped in this store to look for some gifts and I have to say I love this place! There's a wide variety of clothes, bags, and other gifts from anime to 90s cartoons! A lot of the items are fairly priced which is great if you're looking to buy something on a budget! We were helped out pretty frequently by the staff, and I was able to get in and out in no time. This is a place where I could quickly give away my whole paycheck so I have to be careful, but I will absolutely be back! read more

I have been here multiple times and always love shopping. Their is so much to appeal to most people. For me personally I usually buy Pops or gifts for others. Both my kids love this place and can always find tons of things they want. On this most recent visit we got in line and waited our turn to get in. They are still wearing and requiring masks and enforcing social distancing as best they can. We found several great items. I picked out a Funko Soda Pop and got a 3000 piece Peanuts puzzle. I spent some time in line chatting with the gentleman who was working the door and he was very personable. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Ok store in the Florida Mall. Located in the food court area. This store is small and packed with items. I was here with the daughter as she was looking for popits. (Like she needs more) The staff was courteous and inviting but had a hard time looking up from their own conversations to watch the customers. I enjoyed the variety of mini backpacks they had. The prices seemed reasonable as I also follow them online. Some items here I felt were overpriced but I feel they will sell. read more

I love this store! They have all sorts of different merchandise for the biggest fan of almost any fandom you can think of! What I like most about this business isn't the merchandise however. I really think it's cool that for every $10 you spend in their store, a "Box Lunch" is provided to someone in need. That makes me want to keep shopping here over and over again. That being said, this particular location is TINY! It is very difficult to maneuver in between the merchandise sections if you're a parent with a stroller. It's hard to maneuver without a stroller. I can't imagine someone in a wheelchair having an easy time either. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful. Sales were good also. Awesome store, awesome concept, awesome staff. Headed in cause they had nerd stuff in the window and it beckoned to us. All sale stuff was by one, get one half off. Got 2 shirts after getting shown a few options by the staff. They donate part of the proceeds to feed kids, so win / win for me. You can also round your total up to the nearest whole dollar to donate as well. They have everything from Disney fandom items to anime stuff. The staff was really friendly and welcoming but not hovering and sales pushy. You can tell they genuinely enjoy working there. Overall: A+ Great to see a place like this open up in Florida Mall. I spent over $30 and got a $15 off coupon to use in the future. I ended up returning an item which dropped me under the $30 mark and I had to return the coupon. This just seemed a little petty for a corporate company in my opinion. I would think the purpose of those coupons is to bring in a returning customer but I guess I won't be that. Their store was also pretty tight. I bought a shirt on clearance for $24 which seems like a normal price of a shirt of the same quality. read more

What a great store! Take everything you love about collectibles and graphic tees and create a store and then double your expectations. BoxLunch does it better than Hot Topics and maybe on par with GeekSquad. I like how they organize by series pretty well. Really great store. A must see! read more

Definitely have only been here a couple of times. Never really bought anything until today. The staff here is very friendly, super helpful and accommodating. They also try their best to appease all the customers, even the nasty ones. However, when it comes to dealing to people who "chase" the exclusive pops, it kind of gets out of hand. Today I came across it first hand. A couple had driven down from St Lucie (2hrs from this location) To purchase some pops. They didn't know that if they waited outside the door, they would have individuals in their face. Telling them that they skip the line and that they have a lot of balls. It's uncalled for. This type of aggression doesn't need to happen and it's honesty a turn off to the store. There needs to be more organization and a system when it comes to dealing with individuals wanting the exclusives. Something fair and more safe for the customers who come just wanting to check out the store. Came across the same individuals constantly camp outside the mall in the mornings during exclusive pop releases. (I.e. chase) they decided to brag about their stupidity and tagged the store within it. I've attached their users so for any genuine collector, or friendly people just trying to get some pops be weary. Great store. Awesome products. Great staff. This shop is a pretty cool concept, very similar to other pop culture merch shops like Hot Topic, only slightly more expensive. I can almost always go into this shop and find cool things that fit the current trends or that make me feel nostalgic. My only real problems with the store, is that the aisles are way too impossibly small to comfortably move around the store, and that they are more expensive than their competition. Always worth a look though. read more

Admittedly I stopped because I saw a Tall, good looking ginger guy dressed in full 501st Trooper gear. I paused, walked back to the window and contemplated going in, He walked by in the store and I took my date's hand and we went in. I'm glad we did. The store is full of Kitschy geeky merchandise. From T-shirts to Tablet covers, Ice cube molds to Jewlery. If you want it as a gift, or saw it in the Think Geek catalogue, its probably here. The staff is friendly, knowledable and adorable from the tiny girl dressed as Fett to the Sith(?)to the 501st trooper. Every one of them were approachable and warm. The fact they GET to dress up at work is only a plus for me. A bigger plus? For every $10 spent a meal is given to the homeless. read more

I've got to say the store is awesome. I'll tell you what I told the equally awesome sales girl working there today. I saw Funko Pop, Disney, Doctor Who and basically some awesome nerd stuff (I didn't say stuff but it was a 4 letter word that starts with an s as well. ) Anyways the products are great, the store has this awesome hipster look to it... I hate that word, but it's the only thing that comes to mind and I fell in love with all of the merchandise. I didn't buy anything this time around because I forgot my wallet at home and was living off of apple pay for the day, but I'm going back for all of my christmas shopping. read more

BoxLunch is the what Spencers and Hot Topic used to be before going more mainstream.
