I have been to the at home store in Kissimmee; however this at home store in particular has very nice employees and everything is clearly Walmart. If you need anything ranging from outdoor, or indoor this is the store for you. They also have an at home credit card that you can apply for as well as an email program that allows you to get coupons. I feel like the at home store would be a Marshalls or HomeGoods on crack they have honestly everything; huge selection of items. Plus the value is also very good of any of their products. This at home store is right off of colonial on the right side of the street. 10/10 definitely recommend read more

It's a little messy, but they have almost everything you need for Christmas decorations. The staff is very cordial. They are eager to answer a question and point you in the right direction. I had an idea of the color I wanted. I did not want to order online & be disappointed. At Home was suggested & what a great idea. I found the exact color I envisioned. Not only that, I also found it paired with other pretty & complimentary colors that looked beautiful. It was wonderful to find a big pack, since the ball sizes were a bit smaller than what I usually buy, I bought three packs. And so affordable. Great big parking lot, too. I guess that it is like every other store, some things in there are better than other things in there. The store is on East Colonial Drive and has more than ample parking. The location has gone through several transformations throughout the years, but this At Home location has been here for quite a while it has proven to be the one business that not only survives here, but thrives. My husband and I decided to stop by at home because we recently moved and needed to pick up a few things for our house. We had been to at home before, but we hadn't been in a while. When I say I was impressed with the selection of everyday decor, furniture, holiday decor, storage solutions and more, I was extremely impressed! There must've been over 80 different patterns and sizes of rugs to choose from, which made finding our family room rug a breeze. I also can't say enough good things about the selection of pillows here! There truly are thousands of pillows to choose from, sorted by color to make it easy to narrow down the sections you should look in. After grabbing all of our goodies, we headed to the checkout line and we were very nicely greeted by the cashier who might've been the friendliest cashier we've ever spoken with. She was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had, and she even gave us some tips and tricks about the at home rewards program that we didn't already know about. At Home really is a home Superstore. This place is Huge. Think Super Walmart size, but it's all items for your home. Think home decor, rugs, furniture, bath, bedding, patio and garden. They also have a lot of seasonal items for summer and the major themed holidays. From what I remember, their Halloween stuff was pretty cool and they had lots of fake trees at Christmas. Some items are a great deal and some you can probably find elsewhere for cheaper. But if you want options, you should stop in for sure. On this visit, we were looking for wall art and they have many different sizes and types of decor items. Some of these items are gigantic and you may need a truck to get them home. Plenty will fit in a car as well. They even have monstrous clocks if you have a huge wall to fill and still like clocks with hands. In the past, we looked at patio furniture, beds, bar stools, statues, end tables, lamps, rugs, pillows, lights, and many other items. I have made multiple purchases here and continue to go back occasionally if I have a particular need I'm trying to fill. There's so much stuff, it can be overwhelming, but it's organized into sections pretty well. It also has a warehouse feel to it rather than a store, so keep that in mind when you plan a trip. It used to be called Garden Ridge and they did a re-branding about 5 years ago. The store has been here a while even though it did go through a name change. Gigantic home goods and furniture store on the Waterford Lakes side of town. This location has been several things until finally settling on this store. There overall feel is very warehouse vibe. It has aisles and aisles of products from bar stools to bedding to picture frames. There is one main entryway. Once inside the furniture area is mostly to the right and straight back. Home decor and other supplies are mostly to the left, along with the register check out area. Pricing seems high on some items while others are a deal. Shop around and be sure to look for sale tags and signage. When we went this weekend they were having a good sale on frames, toy bins and party decor. The register area was one of the downfalls. Although it was one line for all registers, it still felt like it moved slowly. Overall: A Super fun home decor and furniture store. Be on lookout for sale tags!! read more

Don't get me wrong, I love a good discount store with treasures that are only found after some digging. The problem is At Home is a a repurposed big box store, with piles of home decorating and furniture that appears to be slapped with some sort of private labeling. The prices are absolutely excessive, shelves look as if tornados went through each aisle, much of the merchandise is damaged, with some reflecting deep discounts, while other items damaged or stained have no discount. Someone must be slacking on the weekly discounting duty. There is no order to anything, I specifically went here to look for planters as they have a large selection. They have 5 different sections of the store on completely different sides comprising of planters. To top it all off, there were no staff members to be found on the sales floor- like when I found a planter I liked but it was cracked and wanted to inquire about other similar styles they might have somewhere I hadn't gotten to yet. No such luck. The check out line was 25 people deep and the cashiers had zero sense of urgency . This place won't survive with its overpriced damaged decor, yard accessories that are fit for a trailer park, and the epic chaos of the aisles. Save urself the trip. read more

This store is home decor heaven. I went in thinking it was going to be filled with junk but it's filled with treasures! They have every decor category and loads of selections to choose from. The rug section alone is 1/3 of the store. I have already gone 4 times in two weeks and purchased curtains and organizational items. Their prices are great. At the back of the store they have a section for discounted furniture but beware that it may be damaged. They have a large seasonal section, if you're into that. I'm not. I will be going back for more things in the coming weeks.They don't have too many employees so if you need help with something you might have to walk around and find someone but everyone has been friendly so far. Tons of outdoor and indoor decor. The prices are pretty good but a little higher that Old Time Pottery or other similar shops. They have a ton of art and furniture that was unique. This is a stop where you can find cool gifts for anyone. The staff was really nice as well which is a nice addition to a place like this. They had a kids section which I am not used to seeing in spots like this which may be good for holiday shopping. I will def be back. read more

Each of the stores I had been to, both said they had the item in stock only to arrive and they did not. Great place to find inexpensive home decor. The store is pretty much overwhelming to me. There is a huge variety of all things needed to decorate from patio furniture to barstools to rugs and art plus everything in between. The aisles are sometimes unorganized and it's usually pretty crowded. My last visit was the Sunday after Black Friday, so I'll cut them some slack. All the employees seem friendly enough. The wall art department could use a full time cleaner upper since it's been a challenge getting down the aisles every visit. Their shopping carts have a cup holder, which made me happy on my last visit because I had a coffee with me. There's seriously something here for everyone. I will return! read more

Orange and blue Christmas trees in August, wow, that is really pushing the season, but if you want an inflatable witch or cat for Halloween, you can find one there also. This store has had a couple of lives but this is truly the most colorful. Eac h wall is painted a different primary color and there is merchandise everywhere. There is so much to look at, you don't know where to look next. Candles, silk flowers,lamps. lampshades, clothing, suitcases, mirrors, picture frames and aisles and aisles of home decor. On one visit I found upholstery fabric, remnants but all I needed was a couple of yards and what a great price. I was able to reupholster the seat cushions on two chairs for less than $10.00. And the Academy Award goes to At Home! I found one to-die-for, patterned pillow in Stuart with no number ID tag. I called At Home in Orlando, and Jim the manager picked up. He graciously took the time to look visually through the entire throw pillow inventory of the store for this one. Alas, however, no go: none in the store. But then a couple days later, Jim called me on his cell phone. He found a couple of my pillows! I was ecstatic. Not only did Jim demonstrate his caring about customers, he actually said, "I am here to serve." Wow. Additionally, he sent me the pillow number. I am 3 hours from Orlando --so am thinking now to check with the number if Wayne, NJ has them. The store will deliver locally within 30 miles--bingo --my NYC apt. is within that range. If you are a shopping pro as I am, you know exceptional beauty is hard to come by. Are there some mediocre patterns/colors at the store? Sure. But with the massive quantity of items here, perhaps a hundred different pillows, all sizes, plethora of all the useful small tables one is forever hunting down, and even a bazillion colorful, woven bins that pop up only occasionally at other stores. This store is one of my All Time Favorites. You can find anything for the house to be in Bedroom, Bathroom or Living room including furniture. As for decor & holiday decorations, they cannot be beat. The stores are huge and the selection amazing. The prices are fair & they do discount a few weeks before each season usually starting at 30% and ending up by end of season at around 85% off for what is left. Great place to stop. This is a great store. Very non-descript from the outside but they always have GREAT Home Décor here. Much more so that you would find at other types of stores. Imagine Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Old Time Pottery all rolled into one. The holiday decorations here are always fantastic. Things you would not find at other stores can be found here. The prices are about normal (Think Catalog Prices) but they often have sales and when they do a clearance...they really clearance. Want a $100.00 Christmas tree in late January ? Usually they are still in stock and 75% off. Again, they excel in the SELECTION. Not only the basic Christmas and Halloween they have great stuff for Easter, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, July 4th and so on. Better quality items than a Big Lots and certainly more unusual things. This is a store I stop into and usually spend a half an hour just wondering around and looking. Often making a purchase too. Highly recommend checking this store out if you are re-decorating your home or just looking to spruce up for a Holiday. read more

At Home is located at the intersection of Rouse Road and East Colonial Drive in East Orlando, close to the Walmart Supercenter. This location has seen much store turnover in the many years I've driven past, but I truly hope At Home stays. My family and I enjoy walking through this store and have made purchases for low-cost home decor and just fun impulse buys. Anything you need for your home indoors or outdoors can be found here and themes/designs are very eclectic. There are traditional items and also fun and quirky items that I've never seen anywhere else. We've come here several times just to walk around. My most recent purchase was an outdoor umbrella (9-foot, tilting, solid color, with extender pole) for $49.99. The base is not included but I was replacing a very worn umbrella in my backyard so I used my existing base. So far, so good. The only thing to note: based on my observation while shopping, some items are visibly scratched or damaged, most likely by other items in the store due to how they are displayed for purchase. For example, I wanted to purchase a picture frame but they were grouped so close together (and it looked like possibly at one point stacked on top of one another) so every one of them were scratched and I did not proceed with the purchase. Regardless, we have a lot of fun in this store and always find a few things to pause at. The store is big and never has a crowd which makes for a relaxing browse. Check it out! read more

I used to be a big fan of shopping at Garden Ridge, when I lived in Houston. I visited this store for the first time and spent over $400 on mirrors. I needed to exchange two of them the very next day and was not allowed to do so because I didn't have my receipt. The staff recognized me from the day before and acknowledged that he forgot to give me the receipt, but still couldn't make the exchange happen. The items were in their original packaging and unused. I could have swapped these items for items of the same value, but they weren't able to accommodate. Some web searches provide evidence of a policy change that has inconvenienced many customers, and even got some local news coverage in Texas. Beware! If you shop here, demand a receipt and save it!! We were so excited to finally visit this store We bought several items but unfortunately The lamp stand we purchased was all wrapped up in plastic and when we came home and unwrapped the stand we noticed it didn't even have a switch I called the store very disappointed because we live more than 3 hours driving from the store. I spoke to the manager and I offered to send pictures from the lamp so he could see the switch was missing. They refused to give me a credit, or even listen to me. I had never been to one of these stores or even heard of them, but basically it is a better, larger warehouse version of the Ross or Marshall's "home goods" aisles. The best part about this place was that it was extremely peaceful inside - no sales people bothering you, and it is fairly empty with lots of room to hunt and search. Definitely a good place to just roam while getting ideas for lower-end home accessories. From what I saw, they are a good place to grab mirrors, miscellaneous baskets, pillows (some of the dog beds looked like they could be used ridiculously well by people with no one knowing), planters and pots, and tchotchkes (I had to google the spelling on that one). However, they are definitely high priced on your basic tables and chairs - and although they have an abundance, the more furniture-oriented items seemed like low-quality for the price tags. Some of the little trinkets and decorative items were pretty interesting though - and chances are, if you need a ceramic elephant holding an umbrella wearing ballet shoes, they have it. Seriously, there was an entire aisle of elephants, so I'm sure one is in there somewhere. Essentially, if you need some cheap thingamajig from Amazon, but can't wait 2 days for Prime delivery - this is a good substitute. read more

Garden Ridge opened a few months ago near my house and I can't believe I haven't been there before. Let's face it, the ambiance is more like Old Time Pottery, but wow...it's not just Garden merchandise. Lots of great artwork, pillows, sheets, bathroom accessories, storage, home decor items, kids items and yes even scrubs. And right now (December) a Phenomenal section of holiday and Christmas items. Don't bother. Prices are really not that great. Fact, some items are just Avoid and go to Hobby Lobby, Walmart or Old Time Pottery instead. What little you do save Is just not worth the aggravation and poor quality of service and product. This store is consistently disorganized or in a state of flux.. No one ever asks you if you need help. And you have to really examine every before you purchase -- More often than not, the item may be damaged. The managers there really don't care about service. They just tell you to call their corporate office. They definitely need to refresh themselves on good customer service, leadership and courtesy. Rude rude rude !!! Sales person with dreds at this location approached us to tell us we can't pull out mattresses. We came to purchase a mattress here and the ones that we wanted were not on display. We took the mattress out that we wanted and placed it on the floor to test for comfort. This sales person came and said " don't mean to be rude, but you can't pull that mattress out! ". How else can we find out if the mattress would work. Guess he thought we came to the store to jump around on the mattresses. Instead he should have been helping us. read more

We had to pay in order to put a piece of furniture on hold today. Decided it wasn't really going to work. Called and asked them to credit my cc. They told me I had to come in to cancel the order. So there policy is to inconvenience the customer rather than to just do good business. My advise is to not do business with retailers like this who have no customer appreciation or experience. They will be out of business soon thanks to the internet and other retailers who are more professional and put the customer first. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this store. They have a nice selection of assorted crap for the home (furniture, decor, holiday decorations, etc) I recently went in to purchase air tight bins I needed to store kibble for my animals. The total came to $70 and the the cashier (a young guy...not older than 22 but likely still a teenaged) asked me if I had a coupon. I told him I did not so he told me there was a 20% coupon available but I needed to sign up for it. I asked if he would be so kind and give me the discount despite my not having the coupon. Nope. Well....sigh..okay. He did tell me if I came back with the coupon, receipt, AND items I purchased they would refund them to me and then charge them back to me with the 20% off. I paid for my stuff and left. Along the way I decided to pull over and see if I could get the coupon online and sure enough, I had it on my phone. I returned immediately to the store and ran in with the coupon on my phone and my receipt. No dice! I had to go out to my car and unload all the bins and trundle them back inside so he could mark everything returned and then resell it to me. Really? I guess I should be glad he at least told me about the coupon (which turned out to be a code he just scanned from a damn notebook---so he could have hooked me up with the discount regardless) but apparently store rules require one to jump through a number of hoops to get the discount (which in my case was significant so I couldn't pass it up). I have shopped at other stores where all I had to do was show up with the receipt and I would be refunded for he difference, whether it was a sale or the price simply reduced. Had he hooked me up with the 20% from the get-go I would have been a loyal shopper but as it stands, it is clear that Garden Ridge doesn't give its employees leeway to ensure customers leave completely happy with their experience. read more
