I love a good Tj Maxx so that I can blow my money on crap I don't need.... or never knew I needed for that matter! This location in particular is always usually fully stocked and can find great items. It's kinda like treasure hunting; you never know what good deals you'll find! Every now and then you'll see high quality skin care here, and that's usually what I'm fishing for. I remember one time I found Pedicone MD plasma + face and neck cream and I bought all 3 containers on the shelf. At Ulta and online it costs around 65 bucks for 1 container and Tj had it for 16.99 each so when you do the math, those 3 containers still didn't even amount to the price of one elsewhere. I walked out of there feeling like I had won the lottery that day. On another visit I got on the clearance shelf (yes it was unopen) Drunk Elephants' SPF 30 cream, do a google search and see how much it is... who pays almost 50 bucks for an SPF 30?? I paid 9.99. I get a lot of cooking stuff here too, sometimes you'll find cooking spices real cheap or just stuff for the kitchen. Overall, coming here is a good time if you like bargains; enjoy! read more

TJ Max is good for grabbing quick gifts. They have a large table in the back with puzzles, small appliances, glassware, knives on chef blocks & I even saw an ICEE machine. They have handbags in every style and color and the bath & body section is stocked. I go here because in the past I have lucked out and found two LeCrueset stone bakeeare. It's crazy busy this time of year, so arm yourselves with patience & make sure you're hydrated. Line was almost to the back of the store. read more

Generally when you go to one TJ Maxx you've been to them all- the inventory may differ from place to place, but concept overall the same. This TJ Maxx stands out, but not for being great. The Waterford location makes it an easy spot to be incredibly crowded on the weekend, but worse than that is the disorganization. Between the surplus of items and surplus of people it's easily overwhelming. Plus if you find something you do want you normally have to wait in a line that extends beyond the normal queue. For sure my least favorite TJ Maxx in the area. read more

Whenever I get a chance, I'd love to stop at any TJ Maxx or their related stores as you could always find a great bargain. They have a good selection and their clothes are always trendy and up-to-date. If things don't work out, they are great on returns and exchanges. The stores are always clean and the staff friendly. This location is pretty standard. Good deals if you're willing to look for them. Fragrances can be great prices if you catch it at the right time. Their clothes are not really as size inclusive as they could be. The person who helped get me a perfume from a locked case was pretty pushy about getting a card with them and when I eventually declined to get one she passed me off to someone else which was really incredibly rude. Luckily the person who ultimately helped me was very nice and almost made up for the bad behavior of the other associate. I'm rarely in the Waterford area and I doubt I'd return if I was. read more

I don't understand why they have 10 registers at TJ Maxx at this busy season. Today, at 3:30 they had two registers open and the line went into the men's department!!! This is unacceptable. I was told that they're waiting for employees to come into work and they NO-showed. it's been this way ever since they opened they've NEVER have sufficient help. The nice part of my visit was I met a sweet lady behind me and we chatted and shared candy. She helped me keep my cool after 50 minute wait time. read more

I love T Jays. It's like a flea market for yuppies, without the weird stuff and the hot dog cart. There are several items here that are deeply discounted, such as pet stuff and kitchen items. There is so much random stuff that coming here is like opening a treasure box. And I really like that. My latest discovery was the soda fridge. These are the coldest drinks in all Orlando, forget gas stations or convenience store, do yourself a favor an get a soda here. Unnecessary stuff: I was talking to the cashiers, and commenting on how busy it was, and they were telling me that every week that the stimulus checks are deposited, they get flooded with customers. I guess this is how our economy works. I am very tempted to argue against this, but at the same time I feel like I know nothing about economics. The woman that was working 05/10/2025 around 6pm in the fitting rooms area was very rude and unkind. When putting the items I did not want to purchase on the return rack, she abruptly stopped me and took the clothes from me and said "where do you think those go ? have you ever tried using your head ?" If I had made a mistake I would have gladly corrected it if she had politely verbalized it, but instead I was insulted... Maybe she is having a bad day but I was really stunned and offended and it made me really upset... I hope I don't ever have to interact with her again, it definitely doesn't make me very enthused to revisit this tj maxx. read more

This TJ Maxx is always so well stocked! I despise the lines, but four stars for always being fully stocked. I love this selection that they have in the baby department, I refuse to go anywhere else! They have the nice rubber bibs for feeding, you can get a pair of them for like less than $10 versus at other stores where they are $10 each. They always have seasonal items and wonderful little trinkets and gifts for babies. They always have the best blankets as well not some reason! I love TJ Maxx! The employees really don't talk to you but when you check out they do. Other than that, they do a great job stocking and the store is pretty well organized when you go into it. This TJ Maxxx store is an OK one, and is also the closest to where we live. I think I've been to the one in Oviedo more because we just like that one better. When we go to Waterford, TJ Maxxx isn't really the destination, but we sometimes end up here. I just don't find the same stuff that I purchase at the other stores. Maybe we just hit at the wrong time and everything is gone. I don't even have any pictures from here because there was nothing of interest. Pretty standard location with all the usual trappings one expects to find for any store in this chain. They get busy on weekends so if you can maybe avoid peak times. Store is organized by types of products, think shoes, clothing, jewelry, handbags, all by category. It's easy to find things that you're looking for without much digging or fuss. Like almost all locations for this chain they have a single line that feeds into all the registers that are open. I'm very much of the opinion that this should happen everywhere. If one register gets held up you're not stuck waiting. Great idea and makes people happier. I love hitting them up for shoes and home decor. They have especially great seasonal decor for good prices. I thought that TJ Maxx was not a thrift store!! Today I purchased two dumbbells in a box that was somewhat misleading as to what the weight of the dumbbells was. That was my mistake, and not my main complaint here. When I opened the box, the dumbbells were obviously used. There was dirt in the crack of the top of one of them, and the corners were worn. There are scratches and other scuffs on both of the dumbbells. I will be returning these tomorrow, but I wanted to post this, as it was a big disappointment. If I wanted used, I would go to Goodwill. read more

This TJ Maxx is pretty good, I suppose. I like to look through the snacks, as I always find something unique. I rarely buy much else. I like coming here to check out the watch selection, but they're still often beyond my price range. This store can be pricey, but you can also find some good deals if you have the patience to look through all of the inventory. Come here all the time and its a little messy at times. There are great deals here but if you pass it up don't expect it to be there the next time you go back! Also, make sure you double check the electronics when you take them home! I bought a nice speaker for the beach and the LCD screen on it was busted! If you have a dog I definitely recommend TJ Maxx for toys and dog beds. You will find the same great products they have at pets mart, but for a fraction of the price! Hold on to your hats! This is no longer your old, dirty, GREY TJ Maxx. Oh no. This TJ Maxx has undergone a RENOVATION. gasp! Oh yes and wow. Is it different. Welcome to modern, light colored wood shelving, ALOT of full length mirrors AND a check out area that's brand spankin new. Gone are the old grocery store aisle check -out lanes. They've been replaced with a long counter that has check -out people stationed along its length while you, the customer, stand in one single snaking line surrounded by shelves of tempting "gourmet" edibles and other some such novelties. And did I mention the bathrooms? I wandered in and thought I was lost for a second. Beautiful tile floor and backsplash and granite counters! Sadly, the toilets are just the same old ho-hum. One strange thing though. The jewelry, small accessories and frangrance counters and shelving are exactly the same old gray/white ones. Does that stick out like a sore thumb in a sea of new-ness. Perhaps they missed the old stuff and wanted to keep some of it? Dunno but I kinda like it! read more

Off-price stores can be hit or miss. Fortunately, this TJ Maxx is consistently a hit. It always has something good, whether it's in the clothing or the home section. I regularly see good brands at moderate prices. I shop the men's department and there are lots of great finds, including Lucky Brand, Ralph Lauren Polo, and even some bigger designers like True Religion. I got a great Ben Sherman dress shirt here for $30. The home section is great too, with fresh gourmet food products and good prices on cookware and glasses. Sometimes I even see discounted Jonathan Adler and Lily Pulitzer products here. Also, if your impression of TJ Maxx is a dingy, gray, depressing mess of clothes, you'll be surprised to see the interior. It's actually nicer than a lot of stores in Waterford, with wood and brushed steel accents and upscale lighting. My only wish is that it could have a men's shoe department like its neighbor Ross. TJ Maxx has been given a MAJOR makeover! I've always liked this store because you are able to find brand-name clothing at excellent prices... but now I like it even more! They redid the checkout lanes and fitting rooms. They also have revamped their juniors department and it is highly organized and featuring a lot of great clothes. The purse section has also been given a facelift and they offer some great designer brands at affordable prices. Everything is organized by color so it is easy to find what you are looking for! Another plus of TJ Maxx is their housewares department. They have everything from picture frames to bedspreads. All at deeply discounted prices! This TJ Maxx store never lets me down. I buy most of my exercise stuff here (clothes, headbands, yoga mats, sporty socks, etc.). I hate to spend too much on something I'm going to work out in, and the deals here can't be beat. Of course you have to shop around and you never know what you'll find, but typically I get pretty luck here finding what I need. This is a great place to shop for gifts too! No precautions for Coronavirus for elderly employees over 65. Elderly workers crammed like sardines at checkouts with no social distancing, no masks, no options to go home and isolate for health concerns. Store open regular hours with way to many people. They care more about profits than people. It's a clothing store, during these next few weeks shopping for clothing should not be first priority! CDC wants 6 feet distance. CDC wants elderly at home. CDC wants less than 50 people. Having young shoppers coming in and out without a care and having older employees working, instead of given options to stay safe at home without fear of repercussions, is a major health risk to all those employees, customers and families. I am watching how ALL businesses operate during these times and I know where I will be shopping in the future and where I will choose not to. read more

There is a set of women who come into this store DAILY and harass employees, and customers for Rae Dunn products! They steal out of customers carts, and hound employees and accuse them of holding out on them for other customers! If you plan on shopping here in the morning be prepared to run into these evil witches who act like they are seriously entitled to the products regardless of if they are there or not, and god save your soul if you find something they want first because they will throw the unholest of temper tantrums (yes grown ass adult women acting like 3 year olds who don't get their way). Since the management change the store has grown in a lot of ways, and is gorgeous and clean (for the most part as most human shoppers in Waterford don't have manors and treat every store like their personal closets). But still these women, make a typical shopping experience a whole level of annoying due to their asshole ways in the store. read more
